The Karabakh Restaurant at Maaßenstraße 9 is simply an insider tip in Berlin! I am a regular customer and am always impressed by the high quality. The food is incredibly tasty, especially the meat dishes, which stand out for their freshness and quality. The price-performance ratio is great. You really get a lot for your money here. The staff is always polite and very helpful, you immediately feel welcome. I would particularly like to highlight the boss, who is almost always there personally and ensures that every guest feels comfortable. You can tell that there is a lot of passion here. For me the Karabah Restaurant is a clear recommendation! If you are in Berlin and are looking for an excellent restaurant, you should definitely stop by here. 100% recommendation!

The service was very friendly and nice. But Turkish restaurants should stick to Turkish specialties instead of trying to offer hamburger 🍔, it was good but poorly made. Not meant to be a criticism, but German restaurants don't offer kebab unless you really can.

I have been discovering this place for 2.5 years and during this time I have come several times with my wife. It is a very clean family restaurant where you can go with your family, friends and guests in peace. And I emphasize that it is number one in Berlin. Here you will find many meat menus that you want. If you ask my advice, I will say "Karabakh specifically". Every time I want to try different flavors, I can't do without this menu. I say you find your own choice! The desserts are also great. I recommend honey cake! From Mr. Zaur, the restaurant owner, to Mr. Gökhan, the chef, I would like to thank all the employees individually for their wonderful hospitality and service. We came here yesterday with 10 people, we had a reservation at 2:30 p.m. We couldn't communicate with the waiter we were friends with because he didn't speak German. A staff member from inside chef came and took our orders Then the other friend came, we asked for the bill, we wanted it separately, they brought us the whole bill again I didn't understand what was going on then we woke up at 4:30pm on. We always come here, excellent food. The two waiters didn't speak any German, they didn't speak any English. We requested the bill separately. Unfortunately, the bills didn't match

We're back here at kebap zade and we've satisfied our hunger. The atmosphere is great up on the terrace, there's a great view and the waiter Ahmmet can't be beat, great service. The four-person grill plate is absolutely amazing, thanks for the great service, we'll be back.

Such a nice place to be! You could find here the most delicious Azerbaijani food. The service is just great. The waitress speaks many languages, so you can easily speak, order your food, ask all the questions about the menu and etc.

Delightful restaurant with authentic Azerbaijani cousins, great location, and very friendly stuff. I had dolma with yogurt - that was very delicious. What I also really liked was that when I sat down stuff offered to guide me through the menu in case I was not familiar with the dishes. That was very considerate. I can recommend if you want to try unique, delicious dishes in a good atmosphere.

A dream, this menu, highly recommended

The inclusion of the Azerbaijani language in the menu gave us a pleasant feeling, and we were also satisfied with the service. The food tasted good but the portions were very small for the price. With the change of the name of the restaurant, it seems that there has been a serious price change, but the portions should also be adapted to the price.

The Kalam dolmasi was so yummy and I ate the whole thing, even though it was quite heavy for one person. And the Boulette mit Gemüse was tender and went well with the sauce and vegetables. Perfectly cooked and the flavor was amazing.🤌🏼

Hands down, some of the best food I’ve had recently! They use the freshest ingredients and make sure each dish is done the right way. The Azerbaijani national Dolma and Baklava were especially memorable. Must try!

Atmosphere was nice, service was good. However we didn’t enjoy the food because it didn’t have as much flavour as other Turkish restaurants and we’ve been to few before. We had Doner with rice but for that price it’s not worth it.

Excellent service and good traditional Turkish food, especially Tetsi Kebabi (Pottery Kebab)

The visit to the newly opened house on Nollendorfplatz was a big disappointment. Outside the restaurant you were greeted in a friendly manner and shown into the house, but then you were basically left to your own devices. The waiter took the order, brought the food, and that was it. No questions were asked as to whether everything was OK, and no other drinks, let alone desserts, were requested. The food (2 people) was partly very fatty (floating in oil), partly too sweet for our taste (lots of raisins, little meat). It is still incomprehensible to us to this day how the staff at a newly opened restaurant can take so little initiative to delight and retain customers. We definitely won't go there again.

My mother and I have enjoyed going here for years. A great Azerbaijani-Turkish cuisine with grill. The shop used to be called Kebab Zade, but since the renovation there has also been a new name. It's always been delicious and great here, now they've taken it up a notch. It's really nice and the old charm of the store is retained through the layout. I can really recommend every specialty from Grill without exception. Be sure to try the meat with yogurt and tomato sauce! The desserts are fantastic if there is still room after the feast. For dinner there is always crisp salad and fresh bread. It's great that you've been here for so long and that you enrich our palates. Please keep it up. However, I have one comment: “more classical/oriental” music used to play in the background, which was wonderfully appropriate and harmonious! Something modern/hip-hop was playing recently that just ruined your concept/ambience.

We’ve been in Berlin for a week, and have eaten many places during this time. Kabapzade has had the best service we’ve had all week. The staff is very heartwarming and welcoming, the food is delicious and comes in abundance - all in all this has been the best dining experience we’ve had all week. 5/5

Great dinner with our fabulous server Kemal. Really enjoyed the views of the caves as the sunset set. Rooftop has great views and the fresh bread served was awesome with our food. Would recommend for a quality, traditional Turkish dinner!

Nice atmosphere, conveniently placed and we were seated As soon as we arrived. However we didn’t enjoy the food - we had the chicken shawarma with rice and salad but it didn’t have as much flavour as other Turkish restaurants and we’ve been to a fair few! We were however given the free Turkish bread on arrival with salad which was nice. This was the most enjoyable part of the meal. We felt it was quite pricey for what we got. Service was good.

The food was amazing, we got the lamb signature dish with Turkish style meatball starters. We even tried the spicy turnib Salam suyu which was an interesting experience. Both the tea and the Turkish tea were great and they even provided complementary desserts. Our waiters Ali and Metin were very attentive to our needs and we thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality shown by all the staff. Highly recommend this spot!

This is the best turkish restaurant I have been to in Berlin. A friend that had lived in Turkey was also very impressed. The meat was tender and the portions were big. We ordered one starter and two main dishes for 4 people. My only critique is that I have had better Kunefes in Berlin and that the water bottle was very expensive (7 euros), which is unsual in turkish restaurants.

Kebapzade is an awesome Turkish restaurant at Nollendorfplatz. They have a large menu with delicious warm and cold starters from Hoummus to Babagannoush, from Börek to Chicken salad. I tried their Beyti made with Lamb kebab, it was really good. You’ll find Turkish beer as well as some major German beer sorts and of course Raki, and wine. They have a large variety of Meze choices and everything is finger-licking delicious. The atmosphere is really warm, the venue is very well decorated. Tables for large groups with 10-15 people. Good music. And the service is extremely good. Our waiter was from Kahramanmaras and he is probably the best waiter in Berlin.
