I normally wouldn't consider kebab in Germany, but we went based on strong recommendations. But I think the people here are just enjoying it out of thin air. A random kebab place in Istanbul is better. I can only recommend the lamb shish kebab; everything else is a mess, with oil, sauce, and spices to hide the bad taste. They couldn't even get the rice right; it looks like prison food. The salad is dead and swimming in water. The atmosphere is already terrible. The tables are sticky.

Food is always 5/5 when the boss is there. When the boss isn't there, it's 3.5/5. Still, it's one of my personal favorites in Germany, but only when the boss is there.

Absolutely delicious!!! Our order was forgotten, but they apologized profusely and offered us complimentary drinks. The staff were very friendly, however, the place is quite small with limited seating, meaning you're likely to be eating next to strangers. The prices were reasonable, though. The bread was also very tasty! Thank you!

It's nothing like the old Kebabland. The quality has noticeably declined, and it doesn't seem very fresh. Typical mass-produced fare in a lost neighborhood called Ehrenfeld. Never again Ehrenfeld.

I saw rats, the food was very unappetizing, the service was unfriendly, the place was very cramped with little space and I had to eat outside.

For those who have eaten kebab in Turkey, the taste of this place is 4 out of 10, but for someone who has never had kebab in their life, it's 10 out of 10. There's a bearded man at the cash register who I think should be a little more respectful; he reacts harshly to both the employees and the customers.

I had to wait 20 minutes for an Adana dürüm. I spoke to the manager about it. He gave me a lame excuse: "It takes a while because we have to fry the dürüm." Yeah, right. The guy didn't even apologize. "20 minutes!" I retorted and left. Only 2 stars for that.

Visiting from Texas, and this was by far the best Adana kebab I’ve ever had! Totally worth the wait in line. The line moves pretty fast anyway. The food was fresh, flavorful, and authentic. Kebapland in Köln definitely lives up to its reputation!

Food was very tasty, but I had takeaway and they didn’t put much rice or lamb for the €17 I paid. They filled up the container with salad. I think it would have been better to just get a durum. Their bread is tasty and the grilled taste is in all the meals. I also had chicken wings and those were the best item I ate there. Overall, the food was tasty even though the line to get your food was long.

I ordered the Adama platter, and I found the portions rather small for the price. €15 without a drink. The meat is good, and what really sets it apart from what you'd find in France or Belgium is their bread topped with a delicious tomato sauce! It was very busy, and I went on a Thursday at 3:30 pm.

We spontaneously went out for dinner with a friend because the long queue piqued our interest. The food was very tasty for the price and highly recommended. You can definitely taste the love that went into it. The staff were so lovely; even though the restaurant was full, they found us a table!

I'd probably get stoned for having an opinion like that 😅 But when something's hyped up so much, you expect something. It felt like a mass-produced meal. It was tasty, though. Why is it so hyped? I think pretty much anything tastes good to drunk or drugged-up people after parties 😅

The food is extremely delicious, and the staff are very efficient in getting it to customers quickly so you can eat right away. However, the line is always very long, which isn't ideal, but it's worth it.

We ordered a mixed grill, but the rice was swimming in oil and the Adana kebab tasted awful; we couldn't eat it. We bought three mixed grills, and all three ended up in the trash. I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant. I don't understand why there are so many people in line; the owner probably pays them all!

To be honest, it's a bit overhyped. The food is only a 6/10. The Adana sandwich wasn't as tasty as I expected, but the roasted flavors and the price are very good. I still can't understand why people travel so far to Cologne specifically for this. Everything is so fast in the place, so I can only give the service 2 stars. Plus, there's a seemingly endless line at any time of day. The ambiance, however, is very nice. It's a small, family-run place with the iconic smell of charcoal and a cool, alternative sticker scene, which I personally really like about Kebabland. So, in conclusion: it's not as good as everyone says, but it's worth a visit.

As someone who regularly visits Cologne for short trips, I became aware of the current hype surrounding Kebapland through social media. During my visit, the place was noticeably busy, but still manageable, so ordering the vegetarian dürüm was quick. My review refers exclusively to this meatless dish. The yufka bread (dürüm bread) was grilled, which provided a pleasant roasted flavor. The price of €5 is absolutely reasonable. The filling of the vegetarian dürüm was solid and acceptable, but it lacked a flavor highlight – such as specifically pickled vegetables or a special sauce component – ​​to make it stand out. It's a decent product without any unique flavor profile for vegetarians. Since this snack bar clearly focuses on the preparation of its various meats, I, as a vegetarian, cannot wholeheartedly recommend it. For meat eaters, Kebapland is probably the more appealing option.

Never eaten so deliciously before, a few more seats would be great. Otherwise, top-notch 👍🏼

It didn't impress me. Just your average charcoal-grilled dish. Besides, I found the portion size (one chicken skewer and some rice/bulgur) very meager. What bothered me was a strong, unusual aftertaste from the bread (like grease or something from the grill). On top of that, the loud noise from the open kitchen and the staff shouting made it impossible to enjoy your meal. In short: It's not worth waiting for hours for food or standing in line here. I don't understand all the hype about this place.

It's a small place, in fact, very small. Don't be intimidated by the crowded queue, it's worth waiting in line. We had wraps, and the comments indicated that the wraps were more delicious. I agree with all the comments. Definitely try the wraps, especially the Adana ones.👌🏻👌🏻

I've been there several times and have been impressed every single time. The value for money is unbeatable. The Adana ham tastes fantastic, not too smoky, and the bread is sensational. The chicken and lamb sandwiches are also incredibly delicious and generously filled. If you're in the area, you absolutely have to try it. The reviews speak for themselves.

We ate at a bad Adana restaurant. It was a poorly made Adana, but it was hard to tell what kind of kebab it was. It was crowded, and the prices were very reasonable. Perhaps that's why it was so crowded. I didn't like the reviews. We said the rating was good, but this restaurant is a complete mess. How did it get that rating? This is the first time I've encountered something like this. It's not only completely incomparable, but it's also a poorly made Adana, with people waiting in line. It's truly astonishing.
