The best Adana in the world—even Turkey can't beat it! The bread and the motor oil are incredible, a flavor explosion. Unbelievable every time and definitely worth the wait.

This somewhat unassuming restaurant offers unparalleled value for money. The food, no matter what it is, tastes simply outstanding. The Adana skewer is tender, and the charcoal grilling delivers the finest roasted flavors. Combined with the side dishes and complemented by the homemade, fresh red wine, the menu is an oriental delight at a great price. Thank you very much, and we'll be back!

Not as exaggerated as it sounds

Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was not good. The meat was very fatty, which affected the taste and quality. In addition, the staff's behavior was not up to the required standard and did not reflect high-quality service. I hope that the quality of food and service will be improved in the future.

Top food but too long waiting time unfortunately

My boyfriend and I went there yesterday. I had a chicken skewer sandwich and he had a chicken skewer plate. It was so delicious, and we didn't even wait 10 minutes after ordering. Wow, a really great place, superbly organized! Thank you. We'll be back. 😊👌🏼

I've been coming here for years, Kebapland is always a great place to get a delicious Adana sandwich. This time the dish was a bit too salty, but the Adana sandwich was, as always, excellent!

The hype is justified. Extremely delicious. The price is also excellent. The Adana plate is truly filling. There's also plenty of bread toasted in the house sauce. Simply fantastic. Don't let the line put you off. Despite the line, the ordering process, and the short wait for the food, it only took us 20 minutes from arrival to the food on our table. Every detail is perfect here. An excellent restaurant. The atmosphere is lively and inviting, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The service is friendly and attentive, making you feel immediately at ease. The selection of dishes on the menu leaves nothing to be desired and invites you to try new things. Definitely a place you'll want to visit again and again.

Good but has decreased, if you ask you get bread to go

Kebapland - known far beyond the (city) borders - so of course I had to try it 🤩 It was really delicious, but is it soooo delicious that I have to wait another HOUR for it...? 🤪

I was there on a Saturday at 1 p.m., stood in a line with about 20 people ahead of me, and got my food in about the same amount of time. Very friendly staff. I would have taken a plate, but it was too full (for me personally). The Adana sandwich was great, but I'll get one with two skewers next time. All in all, definitely worth a visit, even during peak hours.

ATTENTION: NO HELAL I specifically asked on-site, and the employee assured me it wasn't helal. After I tried to leave, another employee came and said it was helal. So please don't eat there.

On August 9, 2025, after a 45-minute wait, four of us ordered 8 regular Adana. After an additional 20 minutes of waiting, I received my takeaway bag. It tasted overly salty, so much so that all I could taste was the lettuce and the fat from the pie. Despite all this, there were only 7 Adana in the bag.

I was there for the first time yesterday. I've tried many shops in North Rhine-Westphalia, and this one was getting a lot of hype, so I wanted to see for myself. My first impression was good: pleasant smell in the shop, quick delivery after ordering, the Adana dürüm was neatly packaged, and the meat was thickly sliced ​​and juicy. However, the taste didn't convince me at all. I had to wait at least 30 minutes just to order, the dürüm bread looked like a simple supermarket wrap and was definitely not homemade, and I also found the much-praised engine sauce completely overrated. Overall, a disappointment for me—overly hyped and disappointing in taste. I don't understand the hype from all the food bloggers and wouldn't queue there that long again. I'd be better off eating cevapcici around the corner. If you're in Hagen, you should go to the Hatay Restaurant instead—in my opinion, the best dürüm in North Rhine-Westphalia so far.

Super Mega food the best food I have ever eaten in my life

The Adana skewers are really very good. The quantity is also just right. The wait is relatively long, but it's still tolerable. The surroundings and the shop don't look like a top-notch location, but that's not really important.

Highly recommended, even if you have to wait a few minutes. Rustic, iconic charm, simple dishes, fair prices. Most importantly: truly delicious food!! We'll definitely be back!

Best Adanan Dürum with "motor oil"

Extremely crowded, very brusque staff, we ordered something to take away, wanted my Dürüm with spicy sauce, I wasn't told that it wasn't available, I wasn't really listened to, when I wanted to eat it, it was so greasy that it dripped out of the packaging and ruined my pants, the first few bites were OK until I suddenly came across something that looked like coal, all in all I can't understand the hype, for me it was the first and definitely the last visit to this establishment

The line was incredibly long, but I was still served quickly. I ordered a Dürüm and a plate. It arrived in under 6 minutes. Reasonable prices, and I was full. The flavors were very intense. The shop could be bigger; it's a bit narrow and uncomfortable to walk around in. Great service and clean despite the constant crowd. 8.9/10

To be honest, I've been disappointed several times. The meat is completely fatty, and the meat content is accordingly low. Hence the low prices. The taste isn't for me, and the place isn't particularly inviting.

What more can I say? A cult spot in Cologne-Ehrenfeld, super friendly staff, fantastic food, and great prices. You have to be patient, or get there by 11:30 a.m. 😁 Highly recommended, it couldn't be better.

We had Adana Kebap. As a dish, it was really good — more like a mixture of Adana and İnegöl köfte. But if you’re expecting an authentic Adana Kebap, this isn’t it.

The food at Kebabland Cologne was really very good and freshly prepared—definitely recommended! A completely quaint place. A bit dirty (floor, chairs, door...) The food tasted good. Unfortunately, it was quite charred...clearly grilled, but it was definitely overcooked and completely black. They brought it out to me anyway. I thought that was stupid.

It used to be better... Ten years ago, the dishes were still very good. Now, they're more or less okay. I wouldn't recommend them. The chicken skewer was very well seasoned, but too dry. The lamb skewer was seasoned well, but also too dry. The Adana skewer was good, but nowhere near what it used to be. It's not a traditional Adana kebab anyway, since Kebab Land's kebab isn't spicy, but that doesn't matter. The grilled bread was excellent, very tasty. The tzatziki and spicy sauce were rather average, and the salad was also rather average.

First time here, pleasantly surprised. Very tasty skewers, even though it was packed, the food arrived in just a few minutes. Great value for money. Staff very friendly.

I don’t mind waiting in line here because it always moves fast, and the food is worth every minute. The place has this lively, bustling atmosphere — loud, busy, but somehow running like clockwork. The staff are friendly and efficient, making sure orders come out quickly. The portions are big, the prices fair, and the flavors spot on. The highlight for me was the grilled lamb adana— juicy, smoky, and absolutely satisfying.

This review refers to the state of Kebapland in August 2025, and the 4.6 the shop currently has. Unfortunately, I have to give it one star, as it doesn't taste particularly good anymore. The bread with the red sauce, in particular, isn't what it used to be; it's partially warmed up and brought to the table ungrilled, with only two or three drops of sauce. It used to be properly spread and properly grilled. It's also nowhere near as cheap as it once was before the price increases. A sandwich with a bit of chicken for €7 is simply no longer good value, especially when you can get a good shawarma elsewhere for €4. Despite astronomical sales and profits over the past ten years, the shop hasn't developed in any way. Instead of investing in a larger location nearby to reduce waiting times and offer more seating for on-site dining, the money is flowing, incomprehensibly, apparently into other areas. A one-hour wait has become standard for an absolutely mediocre product, served in an oppressively stuffy room with old and unkempt furniture. Add to that the large crowds queuing up tightly, which is simply uncomfortable, intrusive, and a massive disruption to your meal. The hype is over. As a Cologne resident, yesterday was my last visit. Price / performance / wait time / taste / ambiance add up to: ⭐️

I ordered a mixed grill platter with an Adana dürüm – and it was definitely one of the best mixed grills I've ever had. The bread on the grill was nice and crispy and tasted simply amazing. The Adana was also excellent – one of the best I've tried so far. The chicken wings and veal were well-seasoned and perfectly grilled. What struck me: The shop has a somewhat unusual style; some stickers and decorative elements seemed out of place and left me with mixed feelings.

The food tasted good, but was too greasy. I went there twice and vomited each time. The restaurant is too small and unhygienic. I got a stomachache and felt unwell while eating. I'd give it 0 stars because we felt so bad afterwards. Service was good and friendly. The rest was really rubbish. 🚮

Despite the long queue and the busy times, I managed to get a seat. I rarely eat Turkish food, but the Adana plate was very tasty; I've had better bread! The prices are really reasonable! The staff are quick and attentive! Overall, the cleanliness could be improved! We'll be back!

Too long of a line, small restaurant. Doesn't look very hygienic. Not a pleasant atmosphere in and around the restaurant. The price is the lowest in Cologne, but the question is what kind of meat they use. No, I'm not going to wait in line for an hour to eat a kebab.

A very decent (and busy) turkish kebab shop in Cologne. There’s a queue, and you’ll be sat with others at the table, but that is a part of the charm of the place I suppose. The adana kebab is succulent, the rice and bulgar wheat is complimenting the dish, and the salad is a refreshing addition. Very reasonable prices. Ayran is a must next to it. The place is not fancy so don’t expect bells and whistles, just a solid adana kebab at a busy spot. We’ll be back.

The best durum I have ever tried. It tastes so great and delicious. We were considering taking another tour of it. Eventually we came second time for a plate - it was also super good (but personally I liked the durum more). Totally recommend it to visit but there is a queue always. It’s worthy waiting!

The wait is worth it; the line moves very quickly! You order and are assigned a table as soon as the food is ready. The food is incredibly delicious. This place was recommended by a local friend, and it's really good. They're so famous that there's a waiting list. Despite the place being packed, the staff took the time to get us a table (since the space is limited) and were patient with us as tourists. The taste is of charcoal and very flavorful. I recommend it.

We were here for the first time in April; it was really delicious, which is why we went back on Wednesday. We're coming from Frankfurt, which is why we were really looking forward to the food. The food we packed to take away was completely burnt, so unfortunately it had to go in the bin; it couldn't be eaten. Unfortunately, we only noticed this when we got home. My sister and I have been suffering from stomach cramps since Wednesday, and it's now Saturday. The food didn't taste anything like what I had in April, and their Adana was also different in color and shape this time. Never again!!!

Inside, it's busy but well-organized. Even though the tables are constantly occupied, you can usually find a seat within a few minutes—even as a family with several people. You eat, enjoy, and then quickly make room for the next person. That's simply part of the concept here. If you're looking for a cozy restaurant with long seating times, this is the wrong place. Kebabs-Land is a fast-food restaurant with high quality, a busy schedule, and a clear focus: good food, fast service, and high throughput. And that's precisely what makes this shop so charming.

Unfortunately, the Adana tasted like the meat from a chicken roll. It was my first time there and I was very disappointed. I can't understand the hype at all.
