Kebap in Berlin

Tasted like old grease. Disgusting.

I ate here on January 30, 2025, and I had previously eaten doner kebab at the same place in January 2013, both were delicious. The employees are friendly and polite. They helped us a lot. I think there is no need to wait in line at other known döner restaurants in Berlin. Since they are at a metro station, seating is limited and walk-in. There is no need to sit at the table for doner kebab anyway, you can have it packaged and take it to the hotel or go out to the square and eat while watching the surroundings.

Unfortunately, the lettuce in the kebab was wilted and no longer seemed fresh. In addition, the kebab was prepared without gloves and the bread was opened with a hand that had visible dirt under the fingernails.

The kebab is simply fantastic! Freshly prepared, with lots of delicious ingredients and perfectly seasoned. The portions are generous and the service is always friendly and quick. A great place for a quick and tasty snack – highly recommended!

Actually, we always got kebab there, but today it didn't taste like it used to. The two kebab boxes that we ordered were filled with fries and just a little bit of meat. Upon request, there was only so-so on top, which should normally be put under the meat. The lady and the gentleman don't have it under control at all. We're never coming back.

Good kebab for in between! Next to the shop there is a small table where you can eat. Otherwise it is not so relaxed to eat directly in the passage area.

Not friendly, I asked for Halloumi and got fallafel, not much sauce, very dry, no love in this doner.

The kebab actually worked. It wasn't the best, but it worked. The price-performance ratio was also completely clear. I don't really like the ambience that much.

They have a good döner, I don't get why there are so many bad reviews.

I bought a Fleischbörek today for €3.50. This consists almost entirely of dough. I think it's an absolute disgrace to ask for such a price! I definitely won't buy anything there again. The taste was very devastating. Not recommended!

A very bad kebab, I don't recommend it to anyone. The Turk rolled it with his bare hands and it made me want to vomit. The salad was hard and stale, the meat stank and there was so much sauce that a cat cried.

Unfortunately it was disgusting. Had to throw away my entire box because the chicken smelled and tasted rotten. Not again..

Best kebab in Berlin tastes very good

I find this creation of “Kebab” to be inedible. It's certainly possible when drunk, but nothing here tastes fresh or of high quality.

The pizza is not that good (I ordered the mushroom one), but everything else is. Compared to the other fast food places I visited in the city, I found the prices moderate.

Very rude for no reason. In terms of taste, it was the worst kebab I've had. Almost cold and everything tasted or smelled like onion on the kebab, even though I meant without onion. I had ordered chicken but she suddenly turned on the other skewer so I told her again please have chicken. That was one point why I apparently annoyed her. In the end she also added beef even though I didn't want any. At the end I also asked for the receipt, to which she reacted very rudely and said that I should wait. Actually, I just wanted to let you know that I would like the receipt too... I am not an unfriendly or unpleasant customer. I work in the catering industry myself, so I don't understand the woman's manner here. Can't you just be a little friendlier in front of the other person, even if the day doesn't seem to have started well for them? I also had a stressful and miserable week but that's why I don't take it out on others.

Excellent döner in the heart of Alexanderplatz inside the meter stop! We were very pleased, the staff very helpful, the portions filling and there was a good quality-price ratio! Worth a try!

Kebab pyszny, sosy wszystko jak jem to zajebiste jak 101. Polecam szefy kebsa sprzedaja normalnie topka. Polecam każdemu tego kebaba. Rollo kosztuje 7 Euro.

Very good kebab, the staff doesn't speak english and is a bit rude but overall good price and good food so it balance, you can only pay with cash and eat to-go. A lot of vegetarian options, which is very accommodating.

I Don't get the negativity. This place does fantastic döner at really good prices. The staff I dealt with on both occasions during my trip to Berlin spoke English and one of the guys I had a really good chat with,and I have quite a broad scottish accent,so I'm probably harder to understand than most tourists 🤣

I'm surprised by all negative references for this place. It's true that staff didn't speak English and that it was possible to only pay with cash when I was buying my Doner kebab, but it's also true that I had much worse kebabs. Compared to the worst Doner kebab in my life that I had about 1 month ago at a different place, the Doner kebab here was really good, not burnt, not dry, and vegetable inside was fresh. It's also not fine dining, but like a cheap and fulfilling meal, this one works wonderfully.

Hier gibt es (wie ich finde) den besten Döner am Alexanderplatz! Aber der wahre Grund warum ich hier gerne hin gehe sind die Mitarbeiter. Egal ob es um Essen in der Mittagspause oder zum Feierabend geht, hier wird man immer extrem freundlich empfangen. Wenn meine Kollegen und ich mal ein Feierabend Bierchen brauchen, meiden wir den Spätkauf und andere Geschäfte in der Nähe und kommen auch sehr gerne hier vorbei um das ersehnte Feierabend Getränk zu holen. So war es auch heute wieder am 19.09.2023 um ca. 22:30. Die beiden Mitarbeiter die zu der Zeit da waren haben mich herzlich Empfangen und dafür gesorgt das ich bei meiner langen Heimreise einen extrem leckeren Dürüm und Granatapfel Club-Mate genießen dürfte. Jedes Mal wenn man dort Gast ist gibt es ein kurzes angenehmes Gespräch und man kann es kaum erwarten die Mitarbeiter wieder zu sehen. Man merkt das sie gerne den Job machen! Klare Empfehlung! Und jeder der hier noch nie war und das hier liest: Verschwende nicht dein Geld bei diesen Möchtegern Schickimicki Dönerläden in Straßen Nähe und gehe runter Richtung U-Bahn und zu diesem kleinen aber feinen Kebap. Du wirst es nicht bereuen!

I got the döner and my friends got the döner with falafel. Neither of us had never tasted a döner, and it was wonderful. The Knoblauch-dressing was amazing and the meat was delicious. What surprised us the most was the bread. It was crisp and tasteful. A 10/10 experience! Five months later and a lot of döners eaten, and I still think this is the best one I have tasted

Hat meistens offen. Bewerten kann ich nur den vegetarischen Döner. Geschmacklich konnte dieser leider nicht überzeugen.

Ich möchte hier nichts unterstellen, der Döner selbst war nicht der beste Döner aber er hat geschmeckt. Das Problem ist, ich habe jetzt dreimal da geg essen, und jedes mal ungefähr zwei bis drei Stunden später habe ich extreme magenschmerzen und akuten Durchfall bekommen. Ich muss sagen da essen werde ich wohl nicht normal da ich nie wieder nur wegen einen Döner im Bett gefesselt mit magenschmerzen und Durchfall liegen will.

Geschmacklich okay aber der Dönerstadt nicht würdig. Und die haben absolut keine Ahnung wie man einen Dürüm richtig wickelt ohne dass er auseinanderfällt und die ganze Sauce rausfällt. Touristenfalle...

Mein Sohn schwärmt seit dem ersten Berlin Urlaub von dem Döner, seitdem für ihn ein absolutes Muss wenn wir in Berlin sind. Habe heute selbst das erste mal was mitgegessen und kann ihn verstehen. War echt super lecker und die Mitarbeiter echt freundlich :)

Sinceramente, uno de los mejores kebabs que me he comido en mucho tiempo. Le puse un 4 porque esa noche me la tiré en el baño, no quiero pensar que fuera por el kebab, pero es un hecho. Aún así, sigo manteniendo que estaba SÚPER BUENO.

The only döner place that offers card payment nearby Alexanderplatz. Döner Box was pretty decent with normal choices of 3 sauces and variety of additional chili spices. The owner is friendly.

A kebab store at the heart of Berlin. Not the best place to eat a kebab quietly, but you can go up stairs and eat seated somewhere at Alex platz. The döner is decent, good meat and sauce and fresh vegetables. The bread, however, was not crispy.. and this, for me, is a really bad thing.

Kein Gemüse in meinem Gemüsekebab, nur Salat. :(

Döner, Fleisch und Soßen sind absolut spitze. Einzig das Rotkraut war nicht mein Geschmack, hat geschmeckt wie fertig aus der Dose. Wenn das noch in frisches Rotkraut geändert wird gibt es 5 Sterne.

Der Döner ist an und für sich sehr gut. Aber ich sehe nicht ein warum ich für eine solche Türkenstulle jetzt 6€ bzw. Dürüm 7€ bezahlen soll. Das rechtfertigt auch nicht der allgemeine Preisanstieg.

-Fleisch (Hähnchen) hat gute Qualität war sehr lecker -Brot könnte bisschen besser sein daher 3 Sterne -Gute Bedingung Döner ist weiterzuempfehlen 👍

Der Döner war richtig gut. 👍 Auch schön dass bei dem Chicken noch gebratenes Gemüse dabei ist. Hätte ich nicht erwartet dass es im ubahn-hof alex so einen guten Döner gibt!

Freundliche Bedienung. Aber bei "Chicken" wird gebratenes Gemüse darunter gemischt. Soße war auch schon besser.

Ich hätte nicht gedacht im U-Bahnbereich vom Alexanderplatz so einen köstlichen Döner zu bekommen! Alles frisch, toll gewürzt und drei verschiedene köstliche Saucen zur Auswahl. Super.

Typische Bahnhofspreise, leider nicht der beste Döner der Stadt, aber macht satt.

Naja Döner ist Baba und schmeckt sehr gut Draußen essen ist nicht gut, dort sind viele Vögel die einem ungefragt den Döner aus der Hand essen, viel Vogelkacka überall und nervige Vögel.
