Kebap Höhle in Niedernhausen

An exception to other restaurants serving kebabs, the Kebab Höhle is beautifully decorated, which is rare. The staff is friendly, and the food is delicious. Everything is reasonably priced, too. I haven't had pizza there yet, but I'll definitely try it sometime.

NEVER AGAIN!!! Today was the last time I got anything from you, I almost felt sick! The kebab didn't match my order, the meat was cold, far too spicy and crammed with things I didn't want and definitely DIDN'T order. What's the point? If I say a bit spicy and you go on about it like crazy, it could turn out to be pretty boring and cause you real problems in the end. Maybe you should leave Instagram and the like alone, spend less time entertaining the customers who are unpleasantly blocking the counter with their beer and focus more on quality and the customer who is currently placing an order. It seems you couldn't care less about customer feedback, their problems and impressions coincide with mine today. Luckily there are still two good kebab shops in Niedernhausen. You've lost me as a regular!

We ate there last night. The meat was very bad. Cheap turkey, I think. Getting out of the car, the parking lot was dirty everywhere, cigarette butts on the stairs. Never again. My friends were disappointed.

The Kebab Cave has declined considerably compared to its former glory. The food has become very expensive, while the portions and quality have been reduced. The staff, however, are having a good time, and they're joking around, although the customer is only noticed discreetly these days. I used to go there once or twice a week, but after my last few visits, I've lost interest.

We order our food here often and have never been disappointed – the staff is usually very friendly too. In summary: Our favorite kebab :) Tip: It tastes even better when you eat it right there. The terrace by the railway tracks is quite nice in the summer, and you can watch the trains for a bit.

We got a kebab and fries, and what can I say: top quality and generous portions. Of course, the prices have gone up here as well, but I think €7.50 for a kebab packed with plenty of meat, crisp salad, and delicious sauce is a fair price. This is definitely the best kebab in Niedernhausen.

The man behind the counter was very annoyed that we “only” ordered a small portion of fries and a cola zero. He made this frustration clear to us both vocally and through his rude behavior. He did not insult us or anything like that, but made it nevertheless very clear. We felt unwelcome because of this. The fries were “ok”, but the attitude of the operator made the experience worth only one star for me.

Unfortunately, the quality is steadily declining. This is the second time I've been served a doner kebab where the meat was at best slightly warmed, but not cooked through or even crispy. Apparently, the quality declines when the place is busy, because then the meat is cut off even though it hasn't had a chance to cook yet. What a shame.

Nice location, food is good and there is also a tap

We've eaten here several times or ordered takeaway food. The portions are generous and the food is delicious. Of course, the prices have gone up here too. You can help yourself to drinks from the fridge and pay for everything afterward when you're finished. Card payments are accepted, but there's also an ATM on the corner of the building. The TV inside is constantly playing sports or loud music. So it's better to sit outside if the weather's nice and watch the tracks for a bit – it's really exciting for kids. Unfortunately, people often smoke outside.

There are five of us, and we eat there very often or often pick up something to take home. But since prices have risen so much, it's important to make sure that at least enough meat is included. Yesterday it was mostly just cabbage with very little meat. That's very stingy and really unacceptable at these prices. 😡

Beware of rip-offs, fantasy prices are mentioned, although the receipt shows a different amount, ergo 20 euros less...once and never again

We have been eating in this restaurant for around 15 years. In addition to the delicious kebab and the friendly staff, we also appreciate the cappuccino while we wait. We have also been paying by card for years, which is as practical as anywhere else. Orders placed by phone are always packaged fresh and correctly as ordered, always two kebabs without onions, a little yoghurt sauce and spicy. 🌶️ 👍🏻 The pizza, OK, maybe it's better to order it in the pizzeria, but you hardly go to a special kebab shop for pizza.

Guys…how many more times? WITHOUT ONIONS!!! Even if you can't imagine it, there are people who are highly allergic to onions and we specifically said when we ordered that this is very important. There was also a good tip. And because this has already happened several times here, the shop is now finally done for us, so no “yes, come over, I'll do it” doesn't help - I'm not going to drive back and forth again, the €8 + fuel costs and tip were just for the barrel because you missed it!

The Kebap Cave not only has a fitting name, the kebab also tastes excellent and you are more than full at the end. I particularly liked the garlic note in the tzatziki. If I'm in the area again, I'll come back.

Used to be the best kebab, but now it's gone downhill. Unfortunately! The taste ranged from soggy, bitter lettuce to an indefinable, bland garlic sauce. The meat was pale and tasted of nothing. It wasn't a visual highlight when served! But the awful taste topped it all off! The fries were only half as good as before, and the prices have gone up. We won't be going there anymore and will switch to the competition.

We ordered a doner kebab without tomatoes and onions over the phone. In my opinion, the service representative on the phone was totally unfriendly and hung up very quickly. When we arrived at the store in less than 5 minutes, we received a completely cold kebab with onions and tomatoes that was already packaged. My guess: the already packaged kebab had been there for a while and we were cheered. We used to love coming here. Too bad.

It used to be my regular kebab, but in the last 6-12 months it's been underground. The garlic sauce in particular was once outstanding, but is now so rancid that it is almost inedible. This is absurd, especially given the fact that prices have risen massively. In addition, card payments are permanently not possible (we all know why). After years of good experiences, I've now had bad ones 3 times and for me that was it with the store. The only positive thing is still the nice service.

I wanted to pre-order but 20 minutes before closing time no one answered the phone as a precaution. 🙄

Habe hier mit einem Freund am Mittag gegessen und fand es sehr gut. Das Fleisch ist lecker und die Zutaten sind frisch, zudem sind die Dönermänner auch sehr lieb. Insgesamt ein sehr guter Döner Kebab! Immer wieder gern!

Today we went to the Niedernhausen Kebap Cave for a Yufka/Dürüm. For a kebab, the restaurant is beautifully designed, the employees are very nice and our waiting time was short. The yufka was freshly baked and generously filled. Overall it was very tasty, but a little something “special” was somehow missing. Still 5 ⭐

Unfortunately it was an absolute failure, we were guided by the reviews, but that was a mistake! Very expensive for a snack bar with this poor quality.

I had 2 kebabs that were super (almost too much) filled!! Overall, both the meat and the red cabbage salad were not very seasoned. What a shame!!

The worst kebab in a long time. Had a vegetarian kebab and a falafel yufka. The bread was cold, the cocktail sauce was way too much and intense and generally the taste was really not good. And the prices are quite proud. Things were also very chaotic behind the counter. There was football going on and it seemed like the staff were more focused on the TV than on preparing the food.

An sich ist es eine gute Lage für ein Döner. Yufka fande ich echt nicht gut. Fleisch war zu lange auf dem Spieß und an manchen stellen schwarz. Der bestellte Salat wurde komplett vergessen. Personal ist freundlich. Bezahlmetode finde ich quatsch. Man bestellt essen, setzt sich hin und muss nach dem essen wieder anstehen um zu bezahlen. Rechnet doch einfach gleich ab :)? Kosten an sich war ok.

Moin, Habe mir einen Döner-Teller bestellt und fand das Essen echt sehr schmackhaft! Das Fleisch war sehr köstlich und auch die Soßen (Knoblauch und Scharf) waren echt sehr gut. Das Personal war freundlich und insgesamt war das gesamte Essen mitsamt Ambiente und Service eine 10/10! Empfehle den Imbiss jedem und werde hier auch in Zukunft noch essen!
