Kebab Arbil in Leipzig

The food was absolutely delicious and Iraqi-Kurdish. to be able to enjoy this here in Leipzig. Whenever I visit Leipzig I will come here and enjoy either lunch or dinner, and the tea ohh it was very good. Highly recommended!

My family and I came from a distance of 4 and a half hours and arrived late, but everything was wonderful, and also the reception and the waiter was one of our Syrian brothers. Frankly speaking, it is the best kebab I have ever eaten in Germany. The service is excellent and the food takes less than ten minutes. All of us, 5 people, were prepared and at one time the food was delicious. The staff and treatment deserve more than 5 stars. Good luck.

This kebab is worth the trip... The best kebab ever. Best Iraqi bread and always prepared fresh and delicious. The lentil soup is a poem. On Saturdays there is dolma. Everything is crowned by great service, totally friendly staff and everything is always clean there. We have been there twice now and were not disappointed. The 3-hour journey is definitely worth it.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my visit to the Kebab Arbil restaurant in Leipzig. The chicken skewer I ordered was extremely dry and barely seasoned. It just didn't taste good. However, the service was particularly unpleasant. The employee who served us had an unfriendly face the entire time and seemed as if he had no interest in welcoming us or putting any effort into preparing the food. Everything was served without love and care which made the entire stay very unpleasant. I really felt like I was unwanted. I definitely won't eat here again.

We had breakfast together with a large group and what can I say... just the right thing! Arbil has a super delicious selection of Arabic breakfasts, good portions, for sweet and salty taste buds in the morning. Great value for money, the service was incredibly courteous and nice. And the bread is still warm and super delicious! We now have breakfast at Erbil more often.

Food was very tasty, but 2 skewers with salad for 16 euros was a bit much. A bit irritating, in the picture on their menu there are fries, but then you don't get any. A handful of fries would be nice too. 4/5 The actual evaluation belongs to one of your employees. -10/5. I have never been served so unfriendly. Every question about food was too much. Was just annoyed and can't seem to smile or talk. When food is served, it is simply thrown down without a word while he makes a nasty face. I actually wanted to come here with my colleagues, but I'll tell them straight away that they can leave it alone. There are enough good shops on Eisenbahnstrasse. It was the first and last time there, a shame about the beautiful charcoal grill. :)

The taste of barbecue is delicious, but the options are few. There is no menu on the menu other than barbecue and only white rice.

Yesterday, I ordered 5 sheets of meat with dough, and they were dry bread with no trace of meat on them except some grains and no taste. The price of one piece was 4 €.

I have absolutely no complaints! I was there relatively late with a friend and there was no more kebab meat. However, we were offered the alternative of getting chicken from a skewer on the kebab. We were treated very nicely and the kebab still tasted very good.

Everything fit. Super Service. I didn't eat there, but took the Dürüm with me. Still, decent ambience

Never go to this store again. Shop embroiders and the minced meat for shish kebab was kind of rotten and hardly any spices in it. Tasted like toilet paper 🤮 not even rice or bulgur. Just too bad for this price 14€.

Super-tasty food and friendly staff! I had dolma (stuffed vegetables Erbil style) and my husband had shish kebab (grilled minced meat skewer) - both are recommended. We found the obviously freshly baked flatbread particularly tasty, which we also received in really generous quantities with our meal. My Kurdish husband from Rojava who lived in Erbil for almost a year enjoyed the authentic taste of Erbil as a beautiful memory... 😊

Unfortunately, the food was disappointing, the taste left something to be desired, and not only was the yogurt missing, but also some other ingredients. To improve the situation, perhaps a free appetizer would have been appropriate. The food itself is too expensive for this poor quality and doesn't taste good either. Never again..

Just a really authentic Turkish restaurant. The service is nice and quick. Prices are really okay too. I like going here

Das Kebab hat eine super Qualität. Das Fleisch war genau richtig und der Salat frisch. Das Fladenbrot war auch gut essbar. Die Portion macht auf jedenfall gut satt. Das Lokal ist auch ansprechend eingerichtet und war sehr git besucht, wodurch es natürlich etwas laut war.

Ich bin neu in Leipzig und habe schon in sehr vielen Restaurants in verschiedenen Städten gegessen. Arbil Restaurant hat mich von vorne bis hinten extrem positiv überrascht. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, es ist sehr sauber drin (auch WC), Preise sind auch super. Vielfältige Auswahl mit bestem Geschmack. Auch kann man sich sogar draußen hinsetzen. Wird mir im Gedächtnis bleiben. Vielen Dank!
