Auf dieses griechische Restaurant sind wir durch Empfehlungen aufmerksam geworden und wir können nur sagen: Die Empfehlungen waren absolut berechtigt! Das Essen war hervorragend, frisch zubereitet und voller Geschmack. Man merkt, dass hier Wert auf Qualität und Gastfreundschaft gelegt wird. Auch der Service war freundlich, aufmerksam und hat dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt haben. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und können das Restaurant nun selbst mit bestem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Mit hoher Erwartung an das Essen dank dem Prunkvollen Außenambiente war ich nicht überrascht! Mit vollster Zufriedenheit wurden wir sehr nett bedient und wahnsinnig lecker bekocht, mit kurzen Wartezeiten bekamen wir den Gaumenschmaus.. Alles hat geschmeckt und würde immer wieder gern vorbei gehen um da entspannt zu Essen.

Leider, leider nur zwei Sterne weil nach 1,5h kein Essen gekommen ist. Unsere Bestellung wurde vergessen abzugeben. In diesen 1,5h hat aber auch niemand nach gefragt ob alles passt.. Die Getränke gingen dafür dann aufs Haus! Sie waren zwar alle super nett aber leider entschuldigt es nicht den schlechten Service diesen Abends.

Schönes Restaurant und Ambiente. Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Baby Calamari waren Butter weich. Bei dem Salat war das Dressing lecker, vielleicht könnte man noch ein paar Tomaten oder Gurken mit in den Salat machen dann wäre er optisch schöner und leckerer. Kritikpunkte sind, dass wir eine Dreiviertelstunde auf das Essen gewartet haben, wäre völlig in ordnung, wenn andere Gäste die nach uns gekommen sind und ihr Essen nach uns bestellt haben, ihr Essen weit vor uns bekommen haben und schon fast fertig waren. Bei dem Gyros Calamari vielleicht ein Baby Calamari mehr auf dem Teller es waren nur drei. Und für die Preise die Portionen ein bisschen größer wäre super. Ansonsten war das Essen mega lecker und der Service gut. Wir würden wieder kommen.

Das Kavala Restaurant bietet grundsätzlich eine authentische griechische Küche in einem angenehmen Umfeld. Beim Betreten fällt jedoch zunächst die etwas unruhige und unstrukturierte Gestaltung der Tische auf. Auch die Musik ist spürbar lauter als nötig und beeinträchtigt stellenweise die ansonsten gemütliche Atmosphäre. Sehr positiv hervorzuheben ist das Personal: freundlich, aufmerksam und mit der herzlichen Art, wie man sie aus Griechenland kennt. Wir fühlten uns direkt willkommen – auch mit Hund, der ohne Einschränkungen mitgebracht werden durfte. Ebenso wurde unser Gutscheinbuch völlig unkompliziert akzeptiert, was einen besonders kundenfreundlichen Eindruck hinterließ. Die Speisekarte ist umfangreich und bietet sowohl klassische Gerichte wie Gyros, Souvlaki und Bifteki als auch verschiedene Fischspezialitäten. Die Qualität der Hauptgerichte war überzeugend: zartes, gut gewürztes Fleisch, auf den Punkt gegrillt und ansprechend serviert. Auch die Portionsgrößen waren großzügig und insgesamt stimmig. Weniger gelungen war der Beilagensalat, der geschmacklich wie optisch deutlich hinter dem guten Gesamteindruck der Hauptspeisen zurückblieb. In seiner aktuellen Form wirkt er eher lieblos – hier besteht aus unserer Sicht klarer Verbesserungsbedarf (siehe Foto). Der Service war insgesamt sehr angenehm: aufmerksam, freundlich und trotz gutem Gästeaufkommen strukturiert. Getränke und Speisen kamen zügig, und auch Sonderwünsche wurden problemlos umgesetzt. Preislich liegt das Kavala Restaurant im soliden Mittelfeld. Angesichts der guten Hauptgerichte und der portionierten Menge ist das grundsätzlich angemessen. Gleichzeitig gibt es einige Punkte – wie der Beilagensalat, die etwas unruhige Tischgestaltung und die zu laute Hintergrundmusik –, die das ansonsten positive Gesamtbild etwas trüben. Mit etwas mehr Liebe zum Detail könnte das Restaurant jedoch deutlich runder wirken und das Niveau seiner Speisen noch besser repräsentieren.

Reichhaltiges Angebot an Speisen und Getränke, freundliches, junges Personal. Die Qualität der Gerichte ist ausgezeichnet. Hier kommt man gerne wieder her.

Leider dieses Mal so ein schlechtes essen, das wir nicht nochmal kommen werden. Gyros total versalzen, souvlaki, sowie steak sahen genauso aus, sehr trocken, alsob es aufgetaut ist, und grillstreifen drauf gemalt sind. Das lammkotlett Mini. Für den Preis ein absoluter Reinfall. Wir hatten grillteller und lammstücke, beim letzte, gefühlt nur die reste die vom Keule übrig in sose, viel Fett und viele fleischfetzen allerdings geschmacklich in Ordnung aber auch den preis nicht wert. 3 Sterne gibt es aber trotzdem, da unsere Bedienung 150% gegeben hat und mega toll war. Also essen 1 stern, Bedienung 5. Ps: wir waren das 2. Mal dort, und das 1. Mal war es sehr gut, ich weiß leider nicht was sich geändert hat, sehr schade.

Ich musste meine Bewertung leider nochmal korrigieren. Das Essen ist gut, aber Preis-Leistung ist diskutabel. Der Service ist definitiv ausbaufähig. Nicht das schlechteste griechische Restaurant in der Gegend, aber es ist definitiv viel Luft nach oben!

Dank Schlemmerblock haben wir zu diesem Griechen gefunden. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Essen ist optisch sehr ansprechend und schmeckt richtig lecker. Seit langem mal wieder ein echt gutes griechisches Restaurant.

Super leckeres Essen (hatten Lammhaxe, warme Vorspeisenplatte, gefüllte Souvlaki, Gyros Metaxa, Pita), geschmacklich geht es nicht besser, nette Bedienung, gemütliches Sitzen, ruhig & das Galaktobouriko als Nachtisch ist der Hammer!😍🙌🏼 zudem bekommt man mehrere Runden Ouzo😁

Truly the best Greek restaurant in the area, we are almost regular customers, but unfortunately they are often so crowded/overcrowded that they can no longer accept orders.

Everything was wonderful and the food was delicious. Prices are okay, the service is friendly, and despite the restaurant being full, it was relatively quick.

Great atmosphere! We were lucky on a Friday evening and four of us got a seat in the winter garden without a reservation. The food was delicious, but some portions were a bit too small. The lamb chops had more bone than meat. We waited a whole hour for our food. The service was very unfriendly, including to the two older ladies at the table next to us. Overall, we wouldn't go back to this restaurant!

Very tasty food and plenty of it. Especially at lunch (lunch menu available), the service is very quick. Super friendly service! The windows in the conservatory can be lowered, giving the feeling of sitting outdoors.

The food tastes good, but every time you order something to take away, it's always wrong, and it's extremely annoying. Either you get rice instead of fries, or half the meat is missing from your village platter. This has happened quite often, and that's why I hardly order anymore.

The food is highly recommended. The atmosphere is in a commercial area right next to the parking lot. It took a long time for one server to even get the menu. The other server did everything within the agreed timeframe.

We discovered this restaurant through the Schlemmerblock (which was accepted without any problems) and visited it during a short vacation. The food was excellent. Large portions, good value for money, and very friendly staff. We had a lovely seat in the open conservatory, although unfortunately, an industrial road runs right next to it, which is a bit of a nuisance. Otherwise, we were completely satisfied – we highly recommend it.

Stopped here on a motorcycle tour. Metaxagyros was great, two free ouzos, fresh salad, and fries on the side in a small fry basket. All 2 euros cheaper than my regular Greek restaurant back home – keep it up...

There were three of us there. The waiter came after 15 minutes and the drinks after another 10 minutes. The kicker was that a meal was completely forgotten. Nobody came by anymore, so I didn't have a chance to ask. When I was clearing away I pointed this out but instead of an apology the number of plates was counted, not that we're cheating right? This was not an isolated case as friends reported the same thing. Ambience, very loud, we sat in the winter garden, all the heaters were on and it felt like 30 degrees. There was no waiter anywhere so you couldn't even order another drink. There are better ones, that's why we won't be coming back. Service below all cannon, we advise against it.

Food was excellent and cooked to perfection. Service accurate and friendly. Of course, freshly prepared food doesn't come like in the fast food joint, but the waiting time was actually short. And our dog was also welcome. Gladly again

We just had lunch at the Kavala restaurant. The food was very good. Absolutely recommended. Unfortunately, probably because we were there with the voucher book, the side salad announced in the menu was not included with the main course. Too bad. However, we didn't specifically ask about it either. Perhaps this would have been submitted later if asked. The restaurant was well attended at the end, but when we arrived there was only one more table occupied. That's why I think the salad wasn't forgotten, but rather it was thanks to the voucher book that it was saved. Service therefore not rated so well.

The two of us were eating there. Food was really very tasty. The staff is very nice, but unfortunately everything is a bit unstructured. We had to wait half an hour to get a drink and 1 hour to get the food. During the meal the waiters came three times and tried to give us food that wasn't intended for us. We also had to remember twice when paying and wait another 20 minutes.

For us the best Greek in the region. Service great, food always delicious! Even when it's busy, there are no long waiting times. 🫶🏼

The food was very tasty. Unfortunately, getting there is a bit stupid without a car, but it's also outside of Ingolstadt. Ambience is nothing above average, but it's enough.

The restaurant is somewhat remote in a commercial area. There is also a hotel in the same building. The food was good, but it didn't stand out from other Greeks. It's nice that you're offered an ouzo before and after your meal. In summer you can also sit outside. There are enough free parking spaces, as well as charging stations for electric cars.

We were out and about in Ingolstadt Village and then the three of us wanted to go out for dinner nearby. We called at short notice and got a place. Friendly staff. Food was served relatively quickly. Great Greek dinner. We became aware of it through mobile vouchers.de and the censorship was good. Counting possible in cash or card. Gladly again at any time.

A piece of Greece on your doorstep! We had a wonderful evening at Kavala. The food was simply fantastic - from the authentic starters to the perfectly seasoned main courses and the heavenly dessert. What stands out is the freshness of the ingredients and the love that you can taste in every dish. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive and made us feel like we were in Greece. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and inviting – perfect for a relaxing evening. We will definitely be back and can only warmly recommend Kavala!

Great Greek restaurant with a large selection of meat and fish dishes. Tables in the interior are somewhat tightly packed, which is very noticeable in the volume when there are a lot of guests.

The restaurant is ok for a certain number of guests, that can be managed. But when it's pretty full, there's a wait of 2 hours and 15 minutes for food, which isn't possible. The food was also cold (calamari). The espresso catastrophe, unfortunately. They would have to reduce the number of guests a little, then the guests would be happier - sorry, never again.

A really nice Greek restaurant with authentic cuisine. The dishes were tasty and well seasoned, we especially liked the starters. The atmosphere is cozy and you feel welcome. The service was friendly and attentive, even if it was a bit busier that evening. Overall a good place to enjoy Greek food. We'd love to come back.

The 3 stars are for the service staff who really make an effort. The food is tasty, but the portion size is outrageous. The lunch menu is less than little. 4 mini calamari (approx. 6 cm small) and 2 heaps of rice. Plus a small salad (just ice cream salad). The whole thing for 9.50 euros. Our complaint was acknowledged without comment. We've been there several times before, but today was the last time. Too bad!

Hello, we took a lunch break there twice, a long waiting time, once 10 minutes, once almost 15 minutes until the service came and took drinks, after a while the drinks came and then the food was taken. Food took a reasonable amount of time as it was freshly prepared and was very tasty. Basically a good restaurant suitable for people with a lot of time.

Be careful when picking up! No invoice received and therefore paid 1/3 more.

Don't order food there! We were relieved of 60 euros and the waiter didn't want to give us the receipt even after we asked several times! It was a very poor performance and we won't be going to this restaurant again! Take care, fellow human beings!

Restaurangen verkar populär, flera blev väl bemötta och fick bra service. Vi fick däremot inte in maten samtidigt och Vi fick påminna om drycken vi beställt. Beställde bland annat en sallad som när den kom in saknade flera ingredienser. Detta påtalade jag och visade servitören vad som stod i menyn " där står fel" fick jag till svar. Andra gäster välkomnades med en ouzo vilket tydligen inte Vi ansågs värda, vilket i och för sig kan kvitta men ändå...

Absolutely bad service. We visited the restaurant during our lunch break. It took almost 20 minutes before we even got the menu. The waiter walked past several times, but it was more important to him to clear the table in the half-empty restaurant. After ordering, it took almost 20 minutes for the drink to arrive at the table. The lunch portion was tasty, but not even the size of an appetizer, and it didn't fill you up at all. Other guests also complained about an hour wait for their food. Unfortunately it was my first and last time here, because with this service, the waiting times and the mini portion, I'd rather spend my money somewhere else!

Today I redeemed a voucher for 50 euros that expired on December 31st, 2023 (which surprised me because I thought a voucher couldn't have a time limit - but good) First I had to wait because the employee had to speak to the boss first, but she couldn't reach him. She then decided that I could eat with this voucher. Food was good. However, when I wanted to pay, I was told that I would not receive a refund for the outstanding amount or that I would receive a credit for the remaining amount. The whole thing was already very unpleasant for me and I didn't bother with the topic any more. That's why I would definitely not buy a voucher here again. The whole thing today was more than unpleasant for me to redeem this voucher. I had the feeling that I was only seen here for good reasons. I don't want to put anyone I know through that.

First time there. Super delicious food. A treat for the palate. The leg of lamb with the vegetables was to die for. Everything else too. Will definitely come back.

We ate here a few weeks ago and I really have to say: once and never again! We called because the restaurant we actually wanted to go to didn't have any space left. We spontaneously got a place here. But we had to wait half an eternity outside in the cold for this. The staff didn't seem to care much, which is why we had to ask again what was going on with the table. I thought that we were overlooked because of the number of guests there that evening. But no, the staff (except for one very nice lady) was totally unmotivated and simply rude. After we were finally shown to our seats and had chosen our food, the waiter took the order with the words “What do you want?” and with an annoyed tone that everything was too late. Actually, I would have liked to get up and leave. When I asked if I could have fries instead of rice with my order, he thought about it for a moment and then said, very annoyed, "Well...". So if it's such a big effort to put fries on a plate instead of rice then I'm really sorry. Now about the food: I ordered Saganaki as a starter. I was expecting a handmade saganaki. I got 3 small frozen saganaki like you can buy at Lidl during the Greek promotional week. There wasn't even tzatziki there. Really disappointing. The rest of the food didn't really appeal to me either. Mega small portions and not great in terms of taste either. What bothered me most about the whole visit was the unfriendly manner of the service staff. Maybe again with the next tenant. With the current one you definitely won't see me anymore. A little tip: If you don't feel like working with people, a restaurant might not be the right choice. :-)
