Good hotel, dogs are €15. Breakfast was average: rolls with jam and cheese – decent. There was also scrambled eggs. Overall, we were satisfied; the price/performance ratio was good, including the dog. There was free parking nearby (parking discs are available from 8:00 a.m.).

The shower completely leaked in room 212. Otherwise, a cool location, plenty of rooms, and the food was okay. The portions were a bit too large in my opinion. Friendly staff. The decor is typically Bavarian. 👍

We arrived after a long journey and checked in by phone. They told us check-in wasn't until 4 p.m. We had to sit in a café for an hour in the blazing heat. This was incomprehensible to my parents, who are almost 80 years old. The reception by the manager was very sober. Normally, they'd ask if you had a good journey. The rooms were very clean and the staff very friendly. Unfortunately, the rooms didn't have water or a kettle, which is common in hotels. There was a sign in the rooms stating that alcohol and kettles were not allowed. It was impossible to sit on the balcony in the heat because there were no parasols. We don't recommend the hotel. But that's a matter of opinion.

A very friendly welcome. Excellent food. Booked a hotel room at short notice for one night. Breakfast, starting at 6:30 a.m., was plentiful and delicious. We'd be happy to stay again if we're ever passing through again.

The best thing about the hotel is its location: very central. The hotel itself is basic: no air conditioning or even a fan in the middle of summer, no refrigerator in the room, not even a bottle of water. I was thirsty and had to drink tap water, which I personally don't like. The restaurant was only open for relatively limited hours. Fortunately, there are plenty of other dining options nearby. Check-in time is quite late in my opinion (4 p.m.) and check-out relatively early (10 a.m.). The room was spacious. The bed was comfortable. The floor was very noisy: I woke up every time someone walked past the room. There is a small parking lot (shared with other businesses). The entrance from the parking lot leads through the staff lounge, where someone is constantly smoking, right in front of the elevator. The toilet paper was of one of the lowest quality you can find: thin and hard, and it came in a dispenser similar to those in public restrooms, which made using it quite unpleasant, as it was difficult to get out. The room was clean. Considering all this, along with the price per night, I have to say I wasn't very satisfied. The strongest positive is the location.

We come here regularly – whether for dinner or simply for a relaxing drink on the beautiful terrace, which is located right on the market square. The service is always friendly, the food is excellent, and the ambiance is perfect. We always enjoy coming back!

I was truly shocked by how unfriendly and disrespectful the staff here were. Even during a phone call, they responded extremely unfriendly. My questions were answered in an annoyed and rude manner, as if I were a nuisance. Any request for help was dismissed, and in the end, I felt like they wanted to get rid of me as quickly as possible. I've rarely experienced such behavior – absolutely unacceptable and the main reason why I definitely won't go here again.

Great location, friendly staff, and a good price per night. There are hardly any other hotels nearby with laminate flooring. This was very important to us. There's an elevator. The rooms are very clean and a good size.

We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Brauereigasthof Amberger. The location is perfect, just a few minutes from the motorway, which makes it ideal for a stop during a longer drive. The rooms are cozy, clean and comfortable, with very good beds. We slept really well. The breakfast was delicious with a nice variety, giving us a great start to the day. There is also a charming and welcoming atmosphere with a touch of local character. All in all, a great hotel with comfort and convenience. We would be happy to stay here again!

An absolute recommendation for anyone who wants super-high-quality, regional cuisine at a fair price and friendly service. The food is so good that every trip through Bavaria includes a detour to Amberger.

Everyone is nice and friendly. The cleaning staff asks if I need anything, as I don't want my room cleaned every day. Breakfast is filling, and what's there tastes very good. Unfortunately, they don't make the scrambled eggs (the only eggs, technically), so be there early! :-) Salami would also be great, or drinks like apple juice or water. A kettle for coffee or tea in the rooms would be really good. Overall, though, it's a good hotel.

Unfortunately, the food at the community festival was a complete disaster! The sausage salad was bland and the cheese platter was far too expensive for the portion. The bread was unfortunately not fresh either. Drinks were well chilled and service was prompt, but we probably won't be coming back.

Booked a room, got confirmation, but then no room was reserved I was left without a hotel at 9 p.m. in the evening and there was a trade fair in Ingolstadt, which meant I had to spend the night in the car

They don't mention the fact that they haven't been a brewery since 1995. You get simple beer from a large brewery - not bad, but not from the “home brewery” - that's a false pretense. The word former does not appear anywhere on the homepage! Very unfriendly service. Bad atmosphere within the staff.

I was here as a business traveler. The single room was large enough and the bathroom was modern. The food in the restaurant was good and the service was friendly. The breakfast buffet was sufficient. The coffee was from a pump pot, which didn't bother me. However, the negative thing was that no dishes were prepared at the table and we had to clear them up ourselves. With a breakfast price of €9, I don't think that's appropriate. Hence the two stars deduction for service.

Really good inn, great cuisine, polite staff, barrier-free, breakfast is possible and sufficient. Room is clean and modernly furnished, comfortable bed. The only thing that bothered me in my room was that I didn't have a trash can and that the cleaning ladies came into my room without being asked. Would definitely come here again, clear recommendation.

We had a family event here and had lots of family members staying at the hotel! The tables were decorated very nicely and the food and service were awesome! The whole place is very clean and spacious. This place has the Traditional Bavarian style while the rooms are in a modern style. The beds are extremely comfortable, and I loved the breakfast that provides regular buns (semmeln) and "fitness buns" that are covered in delicious seeds, various cold cuts and a nice selection of cheese, scrambled eggs, yogurt with different types of toppings and cereal. Jam, honey, and Nutella. We have had dinner here several times, and the food is exceptional delicious! My personal favorite was the breaded Schnitzel that was served with Cheese Spätze and a delicious creamy mushroom gravy. Their soups are also extremely amazing! The staff here is very friendly and accommodating! Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures without any family members, but I did take a picture of our dessert! We will definitely come back!

Hotel: A very family-run hotel with a very friendly welcome and always helpful hosts. Rooms are modern and comfortably furnished. The hotel is located near the A9 at the Lenting motorway exit. From there it is about 45 minutes to Nuremberg and Munich. Wirtshaus: Very good Bavarian cuisine with fast and friendly service. Almost every wish will be fulfilled here, both by the kitchen and the service staff.

Unpleasant staff! There is no “guest” atmosphere here. Breakfast spartan and simple. As a craftsman, you probably don't count as a guest. Enthusiasm works differently. The meaning of the calibration mark on the 0.5 glass does not seem to be clear here, i.e. Oktoberfest level. I am very disappointed and was in the house by invitation. I will pass on relevant information to my host. The quality of the rooms and the food are of no use if you don't feel welcome. The operators should rethink their profession to live in service to the guests.

We went here for lunch on Boxing Day with the whole family and it was wonderful! The food was delicious, the service, despite the full dining room and adjoining room, was very attentive, friendly and open to special requests. We'd love to come back and say thank you!

Service was very friendly and tried hard! Unfortunately the kitchen couldn't keep up. I would have ordered a leg of goose with red cabbage and dumplings. The leg was relatively tough. As an apology there was an espresso, which I would have gladly forgone if the food had been good.

The rooms are nicely furnished, but a bit noisy. The traffic outside the window can be clearly heard as the street is paved and most vehicles pass by very quickly. I was a bit disappointed with the food as there wasn't even a salad with the steak. The steak was prepared very nicely, but the meat was very firm to the bite. The breakfast was OK.

Very pleasant place to stay overnight with nice restaurants and very friendly service

The restaurant was closed in the evening on German Unity Day, so I had to find other means of sustenance. Despite the single-digit outside temperature, the heating in the room was turned off upon arrival and it took a few hours until a bearable temperature in the room was reached. There was no heating at all in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was below average. Coffee was only available from a large pump pot. There were no boiled eggs or scrambled eggs. The cheese selection consisted of three different types of sliced ​​cheese from the package. There was no soft cheese. When I wanted to pay the bill within the checkout time shortly before 10:00 a.m., there was no one at the reception. Only after I had made my presence known loudly several times did an employee come over.

Home-style cooking in a rustic setting. 17 euros for a simple schnitzel with no side dish other than fries is perhaps a bit sporty. But you can recommend it.

Yesterday on the way back from Italy we spontaneously stopped here to spend the night... very friendly welcome... restaurant unfortunately closed due to company holidays... no problem, delicious. d. Ate at a Chinese restaurant nearby... Rooms were very clean and comfortable, there were very tasty beers in the evening despite company holidays... Owner incredibly friendly and accommodating... Breakfast the next morning in buffet form was also great... I can recommend it without reservation. ..

Just been eating. Schnitzel and lumberjack schnitzel. Everything was great, super large portions. Prices really justified these days. Staff super friendly. Drinks price also great. The ambience in the Köschinger courtyard is of course very nice. Would recommend.

Hotel is located right in front of the market square. At parties it is extremely loud (music, guests) until late at night. Getting breakfast on time is a matter of luck.

First of all, the hotel's performance is not being evaluated because we were not there and therefore cannot make a statement about it. The communication with the “hotel” is evaluated here. We made an inquiry via hotelbox.cc and there was no response for a few days. When we asked over the phone, we were told that the responsible colleague was on vacation and would deal with it afterwards. Of course there was no reaction. When I asked again by phone, I was told that it had already been answered (which was not the case at the time). The next morning we received feedback via the hotel portal with the rejection. I am well aware of the system with accounts. But if there are rooms available via booking portals such as booking.com (which is not really accepted in the recessions below) and on the hotel's own website, you can still ask yourself. During another telephone contact, where I told the operator that if he didn't accept Hotelbox.cc, he should be removed from the portal, I got the following answer: "How I deal with the portal is up to you... ......NOT MATTER". When I pointed out that I would then submit a Google review on communication, I was threatened with legal consequences, which I face very calmly because, as described above, I am not evaluating a hotel service, but rather the communication with the operator, and that corresponds to the facts.

Parking options are quite limited on public land

A nice, well-kept hotel in Kösching. A young, dynamic team gives you a warm welcome and ensures a feel-good atmosphere. The only thing that could be worked on is the breakfast organization. For example, the coffee was often empty, at times there were no knives, ham and salami were not refilled, I can only report on my breakfast time, which was from 8:30 a.m. to 9:20 a.m. Maybe you should also think about the disposable packaging of butter, honey, butter, Nutella, etc.

Everything was great on the way from Carinthia / Austria to Münster / Westphalia.

We would like to thank the Schreck family for a lovely stay in a family atmosphere. You can't have a better or more central location and we slept really well in the large and renovated rooms with very good mattresses. The food is traditional with a modern twist and very fresh and regional products and is more than tasty. We even had a surprise menu prepared that was more than delicious in terms of taste and variety, as well as the way it was served. An extra compliment to the service and the kitchen. We are already looking forward to the next visit 😊

I got to know the hotel as a seminar participant. I can't say anything about the rooms. We were the only guests in the house that day. The guest room and seminar hall felt unheated. It was cold, that's how it felt. The food was rated differently. Long waiting times for the food to arrive (1 hour), including for soup and salad. Soups, desserts and side dishes tasted like frozen goods. The meat was probably ok. There was no cake. The evening buffet was quite tasteless and simple. Price was ok. Personally, I wouldn't eat there again. The trend in gastronomy at the moment seems to be to offer a mix of frozen foods, ready-made products and fresh products.

Everything was great, from the cleaning lady to the boss, all very accommodating, lovely and nice people. /Hotel!/Rooms/Inn were super clean. Breakfast was all fresh and delicious. Were in the inn in the evening, which is directly below the hotel, and the food was very, very tasty. Here the boss, Her Daniel Schreck, still cooks himself 🤗I've eaten out a lot in my life but it was so delicious 🤔only once and that was here in the hotel. The boss always made time for a very nice conversation, I really enjoyed these conversations. I can recommend this hotel at any time. We will come back in any case.

Inn in an old brewery with very nice and NEW rooms. Good food in a traditional restaurant (I had ordered the onion roast "English" and finally found a chef who dared to fry the meat that way and not medium, respect for that and thanks!) Very nice and attentive team. There is a “SparMenueCard” (see picture) 3 thumbs up for this and respect for this too!!! Stopover on the way to Austria, spontaneous booking at the lecture, good proximity to the Ingolstadt Village.
