Without a doubt it is the best place for Colombian food in Germany, all the dishes are super authentic and the portions are super large, plus the staff is super friendly, excellent service. Super recommended.

Simply authentic here... lots of Colombians in the team... The taste of the food is finally something completely different - because of the seasonings and the combinations, which are sometimes unusual for Europeans... absolute recommendation - but definitely make a reservation... The store is really like a small living room 😁

If I can put 0 stars I will do it, the staff is very unfriendly and rude, I am Colombian and I will never ever recommend to go to a place like this one, just a very negative atmosphere, on top of that the male waiter threatened me and insult me. Update: what you said is also not true, your staff was rude from the very beginning, and my partner was the one asking for take away food but the woman was very rude and say no not for take away it will take more than an our, you can’t see how full are we ? They basically kick us out and now I have evidences where one of your employee threatened me in WhatsApp saying that never come back to the restaurant and if he saw me on the street he will beat me. Definitely your team did not inform you correctly, I never recommend anybody to go to such a place.

We were at the Caribbean restaurant on a Saturday evening. The small but fine shop in Aachen is a stunner, amazed by the quality of the Colubian food and the drinks, especially Lemonade de Casa (Wow). We were there with friends (Columbians) and ordered through the menu so that we could try everything once. All the dishes were of excellent quality, especially the Empanada de Carne left me with a special experience. You should definitely try La Bandeja Paisa, it is a typical Colombian national dish and is incredibly tasty. The service is very friendly and is happy to explain what exactly is what. Our Columbian friends felt right at home and we will definitely make the journey from Cologne again, it's a shame that there is no shop in Cologne but we like to drive to Aachen for food. ☺️👍 Great

Would recommend this place for dessert but not for the samosa. Bitter Colombian coffee with not too sweet lemon cream biscuit pudding. Nice combo. Chicken samosa not so much. Service is super nice. They only take cash.

Very good typical Colombian dishes. Really tasty, good portions and nicely presented. The prices are completely okay. Otherwise you won't get these dishes and drinks so often. The atmosphere is also very nice. A small restaurant with not too many seats. That's why you should reserve in advance.

Absolutely authentic specialties that taste great. Portions are okay, with one or two starters you'll fill up well and the quality is good, so there's nothing to complain about in terms of prices. Restaurant is a bit small, but with its own charm. Nice and attentive service. It's great that such family businesses with passion still exist. Support!

I bought 3 empanadas in this place, although I arrived happy, knowing about a Colombian restaurant in Aachen, the truth is that the boy who I assume is the waiter (waiter) was very hostile in his attention, sitting in a chair waiting for the empanadas, which I had ordered to take away; He stopped me claiming that the table was reserved and I was just waiting, after a while the table was never occupied, I finally received the order, when I tried the meat empanadas they were prepared with ground meat to make spaghetti bolognese, I guess Due to the distance, they prepare them however they want, but it is missing to be an authentic Colombian empanada, the recipe is very simple; shredded meat, cooked potato, a stew of tomato, onion, garlic and seasonings to taste and the dough to make the empanada and that's it, obviously the fried ones... I leave this review because it is good that they learn to be more tactful with the client, why when you are so far away and you see your country in a small piece representing the least you want is to be treated with contempt; Colombians are supposed to be kings in education, please don't disappoint gentleman......

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The atmosphere makes you feel at home. It is certainly a place to visit in the NRW region where there are not many Colombian gastronomy options.

(Visit on November 19, 2022) Pros: - delicious, authentic Colombian food & drinks Negative: - you are pressed for time - no card payment possible, with high prices - Service was partly (!) unfriendly and very impatient The food: Starter plate for 1 person (note from the waitress, as the portion for 2 people is a lot if you want to eat something afterwards) and extra chicharrón. Everything was really delicious! Main course: Ajiaco and Filete de pescado en salsa de mariscos. The Ajiaco was ok (capers directly in the dish, no extra). The avocado piece with the Ajiaco was very hard and unripe. The fish was very tasty with a great extra seafood dip. There was also rice with a light coconut flavor and two crispy patacones. As a drink we had, among other things, a great guanabana juice. About the service: Reserved by email but didn't receive a confirmation for several days. So we reserved again by phone. It can happen but I recommend making a reservation by phone. In the restaurant: The prices on the menu are covered with thin white stickers. The new prices can be accessed via QR code, but we had no reception in the restaurant. When we ordered the starter we were told that within 5 minutes we should also order the main course, which we did. Unfortunately, this meant that we got the main courses directly after the starter. After all the fried things (as is common in Colombian cuisine), a short break would have been good because we were full halfway through the main course. So we took a short 'meal break' and were asked right at the beginning if it could be cleared away. We weren't asked throughout the evening whether we wanted to order something to drink, for example, and we had the feeling right from the start that we should finish as quickly as possible, which didn't work because of our 'meal break'. When we got the bill I put my card on the bill to pay and waited. After a short while an unknown woman came to our table and said: "Cash only." Since she didn't speak to us and I didn't know her, I didn't really listen to her at first and said that I didn't understand her. She simply repeated "cash only" and left while I answered. We didn't have enough cash, so the waiter said I could pay via Paypal. Because of the poor reception we should go to the exit. So I stood up and while my back was to the waiter, he took my wallet (!) that was on the table in front of my wife for payment and put it on his tray. At the door I apologized for not having enough cash, but I didn't know you couldn't pay by card. The waiter replied that the notice could be seen 'everywhere in the restaurant'. In fact, as we were leaving, we saw one of many small stickers on the door that said 'Cash only'. This small note is very small and inconspicuous. Very few people probably look at all the stickers on the door before entering a restaurant. The practice of receiving guests at 6 p.m. and having a new reservation for the table at 8 p.m. is common, but please let guests eat in peace. Two weeks earlier I enjoyed three courses including two espressos at a Peruvian restaurant and it was absolutely relaxing at the same time. Overall, it's a real shame how the evening went, as the food was delicious! The restaurant responded to the review with some understanding and insight. This is pleasing.

The food was interesting and delicious, but quite expensive. The dessert was great but a very small. Still a good experience and the staff managed to find us a nice spot despite being a large group without a reservation.

Small and cozy place with amazing food! Good vegetarian options too! One of the very few Colombian restaurants in the area. Highly recommend sharing the "plato de entradas mixto" as an appetizer. Beware: They only accept cash.

Ein tolles lokal mit charmantem Ambiente. Das Essen ist außergewöhnlich und lecker. Die Portionen sind ergiebig. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und hat uns gut beraten. Qualitätsmerkmal wird wohl auch sein, dass scheinbar alle außer uns aus Südamerika stammen.

Auf jeden Fall ein Besuch wert. Die angebotenen Speisen machen einen sehr autentischen Eindruck. Ich war noch nie in Kolumbien aber so stelle ich mir das Essen vor. Wir haben einiges ausprobiert und alles war lecker. Wer mal was anderes testen möchte ist hier genau richtig.

Qué comida tan pero tan deliciosa 👌🏻👌🏻 el primer restaurante colombiano que me representa, solo tengo dos pequeñas quejas, la primera es que la bandeja paisa en la carta se ven muchos plátanos y trae cómo un ají grande pero en realidad no me dieron el ají y solo traía 2 plátanos 😭😭 y esos son plátanos súper chiquitos 😭😭 ni siquiera esas dos tajaditas eran medio plátano😡 y la otra es que me atendió una mesera súper antipática, tal vez tuvo un mal día, pero pz yo qué culpa 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ de todas formas le doy 5⭐️ porque me encantó el lugar también me atendió un chico una cosa hermosa su actitud 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 súper seguro que volveré y espero que cuando vuelva la mesera tenga un mejor día 🤣🤣🤣 pero del resto todo súper wow 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Very nice food and friendly staff

Delicious Colombian food. I’m not Colombian, but as a South American this still made me feel at home! It is very difficult to find food that really tastes like back home when you’re living abroad, but this place hit the spot. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Aachen… and even if you aren’t, just come for the food! It’s a small restaurant and I noticed a lot of people had a reservation, maybe we were lucky to have found a table since it was just two of us. But around 15h is started getting more packed.

Leckeres Essen, gute Bedienung aber Akoestik nicht so gut. Vor allem wenn man die Früchtsafte presst mit die Machine - was oft passiert - gibt es viel Lärm und kann man sich unter einander nicht verstehen. Und vielleicht Filz unter die Stühle. Und man kann nur mit Bargeld bezahlen.

Sehr leckeres Essen aus Südamerika. Es muss man am besten reservieren, weil dort klein ist.

Que comida tan deliciosa! Comimos la arepa con Chorizo 2x , la bandeja paisa 1 x, el pescadito frito 1x, torta de tres leche 1x y un helado (paleta) de coco. Para tomar Jugo de Guanabana 4x y un jugo de maracuya. La presentacion de la comida es muy lindo. Tambien pedimos un Tamal y dos helados (paleta) (arequipe y uno de queso con guava) para llevar. Los helados Los pusieron en una bolsa con mucho hielo pa que no se deritan y cuando llegamos en la casa todavia estaban congelados (es un viaje de mas o menos 20 minutos) Una de los que trabajan en el restaurante vino explicarnos como tenemos que calentar el tamal en la casa. La gente que trabajan en este restaurante son muy humildes y me parecen muy buena gente. El precio fue 83 euro no es tan caro por lo que puedes pedir de comer y en comperasion con otros restaurantes. Les doy un 100/10. 🌟😅

Ein kleines, sehr feines liebevoll gestaltetes Restaurant. Die Einrichtung ist schlicht, sehr gemütlich und lädt zu einem kurzen Trip in die Karibik ein. Die Bedienung ist sehr aufmerksam, erklärt gelassen alles, was man nicht kennt und berät fachkundig. Das Essen dann ist einfach nur gut. Also richtig gut. Also ich-möchte-mich-da-reinlegen-gut. We stayed at the hotel across the street. Having never had Columbian food, I thought this may be interesting. It was. I had a great supper with my daughter. The Columbian beer is also very nice. Very friendly and efficient service. Nice atmosphere. We did not make a booking and were there quite early. It filled up quickly.

Tenia muchas ganas de visitar este local y no me equivocaba. Ha sido un completo acierto. La comida esta deliciosa, se nota el esmero en la preparación y la atención es muy amable. Se nota la calidez latina. Me ha gustado muchísimo y lo recomiendo con los ojos cerrados. Probamos algunas cosas de la carta pero sin duda volveremos a probar mas cosas.

Wir haben nach einem uns unbekannten Restaurant in Aachen gesucht und sind über Google fündig geworden. Wir habe für 2 Personen online reserviert und wurden herzlich empfangen. Wir hatten einen schönen Tisch. Ich finde der Laden ist süß eingerichtet und dekoriert. Wir haben uns zu 2 die Vorspeisenplatte für 1 Person auf Empfehlung der Kellnerin geteilt, da sie meinte, es sei in Kombi mit einem Hauptgericht zu viel (es hat dicke gereicht!). Als Hauptgericht hatten wir beide das Nationalgericht. Nachspeise gabs auch: Tres Leches - sehr lecker alles. Mal ein ganz anderer Geschmack, als man kennt und gewohnt ist. Kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: es muss unbedingt etwas hinsichtlich "Schallisolierung/-dämmung" getan werden, es ist wirklich sehr laut und man kann sich nur schwer unterhalten. Das ist etwas schade. Wir kommen aber dennoch wieder. Danke!

Leckere, authentische kolumbianische Küche in einer gemütlichen, familiären Atmosphäre. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Ich hatte das Steak mit Kartoffeln bestellt, welches auf einer leckeren kreolischen Sauce serviert wurde. Dazu gab es einen Beilagensalat. Ein wunderbarer Abstecher in die Karibik.

Muy deliciosa comida colombiana. Wir haben traditionelles Ajiaco gegessen 10/10 Dazu gab es drei Empanadas jeder Art mit Ají. Alles super gewürzt und authentisch. Empanadas perfekt frittiert. Auch der Service war eine 10/10, da der Herr super nett und zuvorkommend war. Wir sind extra 3 Stunden gefahren um gutes kolumbianisches Essen zu bekommen und es hat sich jeden Kilometer gelohnt. Den Weg werden wir noch öfters zurück legen. Saludos y mucho amor🇨🇴

Emapanada and Arepa with cheese, were deli 10/10. Yuca chorreada 7/10, it lacked seasoning, very flat in taste, nothing exciting. Ají must have been delicious a week ago, it was not fresh at all 5/10. Google states it is open until 10 pm, but I went at 9 pm and they were already closing. I would come back for the empanadas though.

Kolumbianisches Restaurant am Rande der Innenstadt von Aachen. Es hat nur Plätze im Inneren. Am Wochenende sollte man wohl eher reservieren. Es gibt Gerichte die man sonst nicht unbedingt kennt. Von daher wird es schon authentisch sein. Es gibt auch kolumbianisches Eis und Bier auf der Karte. Die Bedienung ist freundlich. Als wir da waren, hatte es ein eher junges Publikum.

Leckeres kolombianisches Essen. Ich war jetzt schon mehrfach hier und die Gerichte sind alle immer sehr gut und relativ authentisch gewesen. Der Service ist freundlich aber etwas unaufmerksam. Das Ambiente ist schlicht und es riecht etwas nach frittiertem Essen.

This food was authentic, homemade, and BLOW YOUR MIND DELICIOUS!!!! The service was excellent, it's a small cozy, atmospheric, and lovely place. It's a little bit expensive, but good lord it was worth every. single. penny. I will still be talking about this meal a year from now. It might be the only reason i visit Aachen again, although the dome and streets around were amazing... this food was INCREDIBLE.

Interesting place, with a nice atmosphere; I have ordered the chicken plate (name Pollo maybe, unsure) and an ordinary Lemonade: the plate was extremely delicious, tender meat, and seasoned in a wonderful way! The Lemonade was a bit souer though. It was my first time trying Colombian food and definitely won't be the last!

UN RINCONCITO DE COLOMBIA EN ALEMANIA Por negocios y vacaciones, he tenido la oportunidad de conocer más de setenta ciudades en Alemania, con lo cual, siempre busco restaurantes colombianos a cualquier lugar que vaya. Sin exagerar, creo que no hay restaurante colombiano en todo Alemania como este. La atención de la señora Lida es increíble, los meseros son muy agradables, la comida es excepcional, el lugar es bonito, los precios son razonables y el ambiente es tranquilo. Amo este lugar.

Mind blowing! How can there be such a flavorful restaurant in Aachen. I don't have much experience with Columbian food and never had a good introduction but everything I had there just blew my mind. Very relaxed ambience. The place is not huge so you likely have to reserve. It's also not a cheap eat. You'd expect the street food style stuff to be cheap but it's quite pricey. Nonetheless, totally worth going.

El ambiente es genial y también la atención, te tratan con mucho cariño. Tienen muchas opciones como para entradas y platos principales. Como latina, creo que me hizo sentir como en casa. Con mi marido probamos el mix de entrada para dos personas, y no pudimos terminar por lo generosa que es la porción. Probamos empanadas, coxinha, mandioca frita, banana frita y más, venían con tres tipos de salsas, era delicioso. Super recomendado.
