I recently visited this restaurant and absolutely loved it! The food was outstanding - every ingredient was fresh and perfectly prepared. The service was attentive, friendly and professional without being intrusive. You can tell that the staff attaches great importance to the guests' satisfaction. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely right here: the price is more than justified for the quality of the food and the first-class service. I can only warmly recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit!

Before the change of ownership, this was our favorite restaurant. Unfortunately, today was probably the last time we were there. When we walked in we weren't greeted at all. The first words were “have you reserved?” The annoyed waitress then showed us to our table. By the time a waitress was at the table to take drinks, we had all already chosen our food. Several times we sat in front of empty glasses and almost had to look for someone from whom we could order something again. We were never asked if we wanted something more to drink. As we walked past, the waitresses turned their heads the other way. If we spoke to someone they said “I’m just a temporary worker”. If other guests ordered drinks from the waitress as they walked past, their eyes rolled as they walked away. We had to wait a really long time for the food. If it had at least been as good as it was a few months ago, it wouldn't have been dramatic. There were four of us and two of the orders didn't arrive properly. There wasn't even an excuse for that. After dinner we would have liked to order dessert, but we waited in vain for over half an hour for someone from whom we could have ordered it and then decided to pay.

Very friendly and courteous staff. Nice, not too loud background music while eating, exceptionally delicious pizza, even if you're really hungry 🤭 Highly recommended.

Pizza is good and very tasty, the conditions are first class and the whole restaurant is extremely clean and elegant, very highly recommended!

This used to be our favorite restaurant and since a change in the team it has been an absolute flop. The service is visibly overwhelmed. Very long waiting times. The pasta is no longer homemade but boiled pasta. Everything is served carelessly, half of the ingredients are missing and there is no comparison in terms of taste. The only thing that has remained is the ambience. Everything else is an absolute disappointment, a shame!

Unfortunately the quality of the food and service has become very poor. The boss seems completely overwhelmed. We haven't seen the waitress with short dark hair and her mother in the kitchen for weeks. You totally notice that. The boss shouts through the shop that the food was cold and had no taste. Too bad. It used to be our favorite restaurant, but now we don't go there anymore.

Bad staff unfriendly The boss waited exactly 45 minutes and didn't come. Instead of apologizing, he said we weren't alone NEVER AGAIN

After 30 minutes of waiting we got the menu, people at the next table who came after us were able to order food, and we? We didn't even get to the ordering process because we left after another 20 minutes. I can't say anything about the food because it didn't happen. The ambience was okay, only the noise level was very high.

The staff seemed extremely overwhelmed and disorganized. The restaurant opened 15 minutes later than opening time. Unfortunately, the waiting times for food and drinks were not justified given the number of guests. The food was okay but didn't correspond to the price. I hope that this will improve again as it was actually better in the past.

We reserved a table in the outdoor area on July 30, 2024. Very nice atmosphere for a nice evening. Starters and main courses were amazing!! Service good and friendly. Negative: •We had already been sitting for 20 minutes before we could order drinks. •The air was very outside (but it was also very hot 30 degrees that day)

I had a carbonara and a beer. Together they should have costed less than 20€, however I was charged 23€... Apart from that there was less than 10 strips of guanciale in the carbonara.. I had to search for them to eat with the pasta. The portion is also VERY small and it costs 15€.. it wasnt worth it in my opinion. EDIT: Response to the response from the owner. I asked if I could have a little extra pecorino brought to the table, what EVERY Italian I've been to has provided for free. Usually they have olive oil, pepper, salt, etc on every table for free. And when they bring a pasta dish where cheese gets added at the end, like carbonara.. they have a small container where you can add it yourself, to your taste.. Same as olive oil, same as salt, etc. You guys don't do that. That's fine. But I was also not informed that adding extra pecorino would cost me 4€... if I had known, I wouldn't have asked. With 4€ one can go to REWE and buy 200g of pecorino, non gratugiatto... So I can say that this act shows that your greed for profits far exceeds your concern for customer satisfaction. I let the matter rest here. For those searching to eat here.. just read the negative reviews and how the owner replies in a very agressive/rude manner to them. That's all you need to know. I wish I had read it before going to the restaurant.

Delicious food, good selection and friendly staff. Prices increased slightly

Very tasty pizza, price absolutely justified for the quality and size (€12.50 tuna pizza). Staff is very friendly. Personally, I miss salt and pepper (+ chili and garlic oil) on the table. Super nice courtyard where you can eat in the dry under umbrellas even when it's raining. Tip: It's best to reserve in advance!

Location, food and atmosphere were all excellent, but the service here, although friendly, was a bit slow. To be fair, we were warned that they were a bit short staffed and that there would be a wait, so overall was very good and we were taken here by regulars who said this wasn’t normal, so I would still recommend this place quite heartily :)

Always eaten deliciously! Alessia is a super attentive & friendly service manager, as is the rest of the family! The restaurant has by far the most beautiful inner garden in Villingen and they always have great weekly specials! Drinks and presentation of the food are very important here, as are creativity and taste, which is what makes the Kapuzinerhof unique!

The Prosciutto pizza was tasty and large and the Bruschettone Burrata was very delicate and more than an appetizer!

Pizza took an hour with far too few toppings. Beer took 30 minutes. Not good service, pretty slacked off. Way too loud in the shed.

There's not much to say except: Food 1A, service and friendliness 1A, ambience in the courtyard 1A. I can't write more than a clear recommendation for the Kapuzinerhof. I always enjoy coming here. Keep it up!

Whether it was bruschetta, pizza or ravioli - the food was great! Unfortunately the service overshadowed the good food. We waited 20 minutes for the drink order and another 15 minutes until the water was finally served. When the main course came after almost 1.5 hours, we ordered more water with our meal. However, it wasn't served until we had already finished eating...

We really liked the food. The Bruschettone Buratta in particular is highly recommended. It is listed on the menu as a starter, but you would definitely be satisfied with it as a main course. We have now tried all the pasta dishes and we really like them. Unfortunately, the service is a bit slow and the waitress sometimes has difficulty understanding the order because her German is not sufficient. If you want to take leftovers with you (which is not uncommon as the portions are very large), you will only be given the empty packaging and you have to pack your own food.

Very nice, historic building, with plenty of space (including in the inner courtyard). The interior decor isn't quite to my taste (with the plastic chairs) - but it's pretty chic at first glance.

Went there for the first time today and our meals (Pizza Burrata & Pizza Primavera) were really delicious! The ambience & style of the restaurant is also very nice and modern. The staff is also very friendly. Price-performance ratio absolutely fine. I would love to come back :)

We came on Saturday evening. Only ordered 2 pizzas. After waiting for 1 hour, no response. After 2 hours pizza was served. The manager was very unfriendly and rude. No excuse despite such a long wait. It's normal to wait 2 hours here. Other tables waited just as long. Since then, never again to Kapuzinerhof. Pizza tastes normal. But nothing special. Addendum. It wasn't this Saturday. Instead of reacting to the criticism and possibly improving the services, they want to contact a lawyer (you can also do that). But I recommend that you concentrate on your customers as before.

We ate there yesterday and ordered a rump steak with pepper sauce and fries for 30 euros. The place was full, but the wait was excessively long compared to other places, too long. But what was then served, although nice in a small iron pan, was a huge disappointment. Angus beef, medium? The meat was done, more gristle and buaa when I remember it. The one in the pepper sauce... That was anything but one. I left it halfway through and had really worked through it, hoping it would get better. The fries couldn't save it either. If you like meat like I do, you go to a nice restaurant with such prices and you look forward to quality and delicious food. Not even close. I'm sad and disappointed. My daughter's salmon pasta was tasty, but didn't make up for the disappointment. Luckily the company was good. Another thing I noticed was the acoustics. Due to the way the place is built, it quickly becomes very loud when all the guests are having a conversation. The cleaner should have the courage to work on the imaginative wine racks, unless the cobwebs were part of the decoration. Positive, nice staff, some very accommodating, food is beautifully prepared and served, nice cutlery. Make up your own mind, but eating meat... Better somewhere else. I can recommend Irish Pub Villingen, around the corner.

The waitresses are very nice and polite, you always feel welcome. Food is very tasty. Location is very modern and beautifully decorated. Whether Valentine's Day or Christmas, everything is planned down to the smallest detail. The restaurant is highly recommended, it is one of the best restaurants in the area.

I really want it on the Push International Women's Day. Unfortunately, today's experience was very disappointing. The food was tasteless and absolutely unseasoned. The service is mercilessly overwhelmed. It was unbearably loud and the atmosphere was cold. We waited 1.5 hours for the food and that was really worse than expected. Orders were partly taken incorrectly and partly forgotten. If I pay 40 euros for a fish grill plate, I don't expect 3/4 plate full of fries (which I didn't even order) We'll try again on a less crowded day because I just want to believe the Kapuzinerhof's reputation. If I were to give my opinion only on today's one, I would have to say: Better go somewhere else!

The restaurant offers a pleasant experience. The dishes are tasteful, the atmosphere is nice, and the service is attentive. A great choice for an enjoyable evening.

The pizza is really delicious, and the homemade pasta also tastes wonderful. So it's definitely worth coming here for a really good Italian meal. In summer you can sit in a wonderful courtyard. Inside the atmosphere is a bit chilly. It doesn't look comfortable, but it looks chic and modern. Unfortunately the service is rather weak. Everyone is friendly, but it can happen that the pasta comes with the wrong sauce, that different pasta comes, or that the pizza takes forever. It's also really bad that you can only pay with a card if you spend more than 35 euros. Normally I would have given it 4 stars, but this bad habit means I lose a point.

We were very happy and had to wait over 1.5 hours for the pizza, that's not possible, there was no apology from the staff and they left us behind after ordering 😢 everyone who came after us got their food before us, only after that When we asked what was going on, they responded and were then rude. And it wasn't comfortable because it was too cold, so once and not again.

Ambience just too cool. Uncomfortable and acoustics too loud. Unfortunately the fish was over salted. The chef may be in love. Other guests confirmed that they also had fish. Unfortunately there are no decorations on the tables to show some New Year's Eve ambience. Everything is very sparse.

Gute Pizzeria, leckere Pizza, wir hatten leider im Durchgang gesessen und es war kalt, weil durch die Eingangstür andauernd kalte Luft rein kam.

Ca.6min.vom Dormero Hotel entfernt, durch die hintergassen....Pizza zum abholen bestellt, war definitv in Ordnung,/gut,allerdings für 12,90 fand ich es zu teuer.

Geschmacklich wie in Italien ❤️ Alles sehr frisch und ein Erlebnis vom Feinsten. Bravissimo 🫶🏻 Das einzigste wo Mann wirklich auf hohem Niveau meckern würde ist, das man nicht wie bei einem üblichen Italiener die Gerichte auf der Speisekarte findet, und die Kartenzahlung erst ab 35€ möglich ist. Auch wenn die Speisekarte nicht Typisch standardmäßig wie beim Italienischen Restaurant angeboten wird, sind die Speisen Italienisch, nur eben in ausgefallene Varianten. Nichts desto trotz, war das bestellen einer nicht im Menü aufgelistet Gerichts möglich, und das ist für mich ein mega Pluspunkt 👍🏻 Macht weiter so. Ein toller Laden mit unglaublich leckere Gerichte. Ich hatte kürzlich das Vergnügen, im Kaputzinerhof zu speisen und möchte meine Erfahrungen teilen. Das Essen war ziemlich gut und frisch, was für mich den Höhepunkt des Besuchs darstellte. Die Auswahl an Gerichten war beeindruckend, und jedes Gericht, das wir probierten, war köstlich zubereitet.Allerdings war die Bedienung, obwohl freundlich und einladend, etwas chaotisch. Es schien, als ob das Personal nicht gut koordiniert war, was zu einigen Verwirrungen bei der Bestellung führte. Trotz dieses kleinen Mankos war ihr Umgang mit uns Gästen immer herzlich und zuvorkommend.Ein weiterer Punkt, den ich ansprechen muss, ist die lange Wartezeit. Es dauerte eine Weile, bis unsere Bestellungen aufgenommen wurden, und dann noch länger, bis das Essen serviert wurde. Dies könnte für einige Gäste frustrierend sein, besonders wenn sie in Eile sind.Ein großes Lob verdient jedoch die Sauberkeit des Restaurants. Sowohl der Speisesaal als auch die sanitären Anlagen waren sehr sauber und gut gepflegt. Dies trug wesentlich zu einer angenehmen Atmosphäre bei.Insgesamt war mein Besuch im Kaputzinerhof eine gemischte Erfahrung. Während das Essen und die Sauberkeit beeindruckend waren, waren die langen Wartezeiten und das etwas chaotische Personal Aspekte, die verbessert werden könnten. Wir waren als Paar 2 mal essen hier. Einmal ein Rumpsteak mit Pommes und einer guten Pizza mit eine guten Vorspeise Das andere mal ein ein leckeren Putenschnitzel mit angenehmen Nudeln und einem Topf mit Lachs und Bandnudeln mit einer leckeren Sahnesoße. Essen Bombe, Service kann bisschen schneller sein und das aussehen passt zur Umgebung

War mit Kolleginnen zum Abendessen. Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, freundliches Personal und leckeres Essen. Unser Abend war rundum gelungen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir haben auf das Essen 1 Stunde gewartet. Waren ziemlich früh da.. ca. 20 min. nach Eröffnung. Ich war jetzt 3 Mal dort. Ich möchte nun jetzt eine Rezession schreiben, da ich mir ein gesamtes Bild machen möchte und 3 strikes sind sehr fair für eine Rezession - wie ich finde. Der Service ist nett oder eben so wie es halt ging.. Jedoch habe ich bis her nie eine gewisse Herzlichkeit gesehen, es ist eher ein abarbeiten - höflich sein. Ich hatte auch öfter das Gefühl, dass die Bedienung einen Höhenflug erlebt und ein falsches selbstbild von sich hat. Erfolgreich ist man wenn man mit dem Herzen etwas tut und demütig ist. Sie darf noch erwachsen werden. Wie dem auch sei, je Getränk dauert es 15 min (nichts los). Das servierte Brot war kalt. Wenn man über einen Ofen verfügt der sowieso ständig an ist, wäre es ja möglich das etwas zu erwärmen. Die Carbonara war nicht gut. Guanciale war zäh und hat geschweint. Habe kaum was gegessen davon. Der Pizzateig, Käse und Sosse waren sehr gut aber der Rest nicht. Das Ambiente ist kalt. Irgendwie komische Energie. Da fehlt etwas.. darauf würde ich jedem Mal raten zu achten. Es war, wie immer ernüchternd. Wir kommen nicht mehr wieder, nein.. das ist nicht die Konkurrenz die hier schreibt.. wer meine Rezessionen liest, weiß das ich viel unterwegs bin und sehr wohlwollend bewerte. Die 3 Sterne sind auch sehr wohlwollend. By the way.. ich habe mich schon einmal geäußert in Restaurant, so ist es ja nicht.. die Antworten sind ernüchternd.. ich hatte das Gefühl man wollte das nicht hören. Es werden, und da bin ich fair, Lösungen angeboten. Interessant jedoch ist, dass die Störfaktoren nicht berücksichtigt werden. Tja, wer möchte schon gute Beziehungen bezichtigen. Alles gute. Wünsche ich euch so, wie ihr es eben auch könnt und das ist genau so fair.

Sauber, freundliches Personal, qualitativ sehr gute Speisen

DER KAPUZINERHOF gehört zu Villingen. Sehr schönes, einladendes und gepflegtes Ambiente. Essen war sehr gut, Service ebenfalls sehr freundlich, KLASSE, SEHR ZUFRIEDEN.

Sehr leckere glutenfreie Spaghetti. Salat hatte auch ein wirklich gutes Dressing. War nicht das letzte mal.

Nettes Ambiente und leckeres Essen. Doch Vorsicht ist geboten. Dies ist eine Pizzeria in der manchmal die Pizza alle ist. Seltsam, aber ist leider so.

Sehr leckere Gerichte. Ja es dauert tatsächlich etwas länger, man ist aber auch beim Essen und nicht auf der Flucht. ;-) Die Bedienung war sehr nett. Die Auswahl an Speisen war sehr groß und auch etwas ausgefallener. Nicht wie vom 0 8 1 5 Italiener von nebenan. :-) Wir werden ganz sicher wiederkommen.

Zwar war der Pizza Bäcker krank, aber auf der Karte hat es noch genügend andere, leckere Speisen 👍 Alles sehr gut, sehr zügig und sehr aufmerksam. Okay, die Preise sind höher, aber ich wurde satt 😁. Danke, gerne wieder. Am Besten aber vorher reservieren, sicher ist sicher. Achja, es ist ein Italiener, bestellt Nudeln und nicht Pommes, die gibt's überall 😇

Ich hatte eine gute Erfahrung in diesem Restaurant. Das Essen war lecker, obwohl die Sardellen etwas besser gereinigt sein könnten, da sie leicht bitter schmeckten. Es war schade, dass es keine Pizza und Burrata zur Zeit gab, aber das kann ja mal vorkommen. Der Salat war sehr lecker, und der Service war außergewöhnlich gut! ❤️
