The pizza was delicious! I would go back just for that..the other dishes are a hmm..good but not amazing. I've been there twice, and both times we had to wait a long time... the last time almost 2 hours to receive the food, to apologize they offered us dessert, we appreciated the gesture, but in any case 2 hours are too long

Quite good Italian restaurant in town. Handmade ravioli very delicious as well as the pasta generally. Only big problem is that they do not allow you to pay by card. They write everyday that the card machine is now working but it is not working since a while ago. I strongly believe that it is an excuse. Usually a good restaurant which does not allow to pay by card cannot be considered a respectable restaurant in Europe.

Unfortunately, P/L doesn't really suit me and my friends, but it was still tasty and the staff was friendly.

I ate baked squid rings. Totally unseasoned, tasteless and tough as leather. I'm totally disappointed.

We were there on New Year's Eve, unfortunately it was a disappointment because the price wasn't right, the food was okay, but unfortunately the conditions weren't good because you were ignored and had to wait a long time for the food. I understand that New Year's Eve is very stressful for restaurateurs, but they could have planned better, unfortunately everything went wrong

Delicious food. The prices are at a higher level. In winter it is a bit cool and uncomfortable.

Unfortunately, we were taken for a ride, so to speak. We ordered a table for 9 people. This one was there too. I also asked on the phone whether the normal Allerkart card was available. This was answered in the affirmative. Another table also had the problem. Then it was said that it was a temporary worker who didn't know. Funny that I called a week in advance to confirm the table. - I wasn't found straight away and there were 3 people on the phone afterwards. I asked the question again about the card. - Also affirmed. It's just sad when you can't admit a mistake and then pass it on to temporary workers. I will avoid this place and NOT again.

Food at Christmas with completely exorbitant prices - but unfortunately the quality is very disappointing, in no way matching the price level (pizza over 20 euros, ditto risotto). Only cash payment possible...

The food was very tasty, but that's no use if the service is bad. No one comes for ages, even after waving 5 times in the direction of the waitress. There was no (dessert) menu after the meal. If you want to leave out an ingredient in a dish, you will get stupid comments. All in all, it's a shame because the food tastes really good, but it does the same elsewhere and the service is also good.

If you want to eat really well for a more than fair price, you should definitely come to the Kapuzinerhof in Villingen! The food and general atmosphere there is simply fantastic and the staff is quick and courteous. You almost feel like you're on vacation in Italy. We will definitely come back next time we visit Villingen!

I recently visited this restaurant and absolutely loved it! The food was outstanding - every ingredient was fresh and perfectly prepared. The service was attentive, friendly and professional without being intrusive. You can tell that the staff attaches great importance to the guests' satisfaction. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely right here: the price is more than justified for the quality of the food and the first-class service. I can only warmly recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit!

Before the change of ownership, this was our favorite restaurant. Unfortunately, today was probably the last time we were there. When we walked in we weren't greeted at all. The first words were “have you reserved?” The annoyed waitress then showed us to our table. By the time a waitress was at the table to take drinks, we had all already chosen our food. Several times we sat in front of empty glasses and almost had to look for someone from whom we could order something again. We were never asked if we wanted something more to drink. As we walked past, the waitresses turned their heads the other way. If we spoke to someone they said “I’m just a temporary worker”. If other guests ordered drinks from the waitress as they walked past, their eyes rolled as they walked away. We had to wait a really long time for the food. If it had at least been as good as it was a few months ago, it wouldn't have been dramatic. There were four of us and two of the orders didn't arrive properly. There wasn't even an excuse for that. After dinner we would have liked to order dessert, but we waited in vain for over half an hour for someone from whom we could have ordered it and then decided to pay.

Very friendly and courteous staff. Nice, not too loud background music while eating, exceptionally delicious pizza, even if you're really hungry 🤭 Highly recommended.

Pizza is good and very tasty, the conditions are first class and the whole restaurant is extremely clean and elegant, very highly recommended!

This used to be our favorite restaurant and since a change in the team it has been an absolute flop. The service is visibly overwhelmed. Very long waiting times. The pasta is no longer homemade but boiled pasta. Everything is served carelessly, half of the ingredients are missing and there is no comparison in terms of taste. The only thing that has remained is the ambience. Everything else is an absolute disappointment, a shame!

Unfortunately the quality of the food and service has become very poor. The boss seems completely overwhelmed. We haven't seen the waitress with short dark hair and her mother in the kitchen for weeks. You totally notice that. The boss shouts through the shop that the food was cold and had no taste. Too bad. It used to be our favorite restaurant, but now we don't go there anymore.

Just ordered food via lieferando.de, everything went well, very, very friendly lady at reception, really great! Pizza was very tasty, salad was also highly recommended! I will definitely order there again/eat on site, the ambience on site absolutely invites you to do so! Highly recommended!

Bad staff unfriendly The boss waited exactly 45 minutes and didn't come. Instead of apologizing, he said we weren't alone NEVER AGAIN

After 30 minutes of waiting we got the menu, people at the next table who came after us were able to order food, and we? We didn't even get to the ordering process because we left after another 20 minutes. I can't say anything about the food because it didn't happen. The ambience was okay, only the noise level was very high.

The staff seemed extremely overwhelmed and disorganized. The restaurant opened 15 minutes later than opening time. Unfortunately, the waiting times for food and drinks were not justified given the number of guests. The food was okay but didn't correspond to the price. I hope that this will improve again as it was actually better in the past.

We reserved a table in the outdoor area on July 30, 2024. Very nice atmosphere for a nice evening. Starters and main courses were amazing!! Service good and friendly. Negative: •We had already been sitting for 20 minutes before we could order drinks. •The air was very outside (but it was also very hot 30 degrees that day)

I had a carbonara and a beer. Together they should have costed less than 20€, however I was charged 23€... Apart from that there was less than 10 strips of guanciale in the carbonara.. I had to search for them to eat with the pasta. The portion is also VERY small and it costs 15€.. it wasnt worth it in my opinion. EDIT: Response to the response from the owner. I asked if I could have a little extra pecorino brought to the table, what EVERY Italian I've been to has provided for free. Usually they have olive oil, pepper, salt, etc on every table for free. And when they bring a pasta dish where cheese gets added at the end, like carbonara.. they have a small container where you can add it yourself, to your taste.. Same as olive oil, same as salt, etc. You guys don't do that. That's fine. But I was also not informed that adding extra pecorino would cost me 4€... if I had known, I wouldn't have asked. With 4€ one can go to REWE and buy 200g of pecorino, non gratugiatto... So I can say that this act shows that your greed for profits far exceeds your concern for customer satisfaction. I let the matter rest here. For those searching to eat here.. just read the negative reviews and how the owner replies in a very agressive/rude manner to them. That's all you need to know. I wish I had read it before going to the restaurant.

Very tasty pizza, price absolutely justified for the quality and size (€12.50 tuna pizza). Staff is very friendly. Personally, I miss salt and pepper (+ chili and garlic oil) on the table. Super nice courtyard where you can eat in the dry under umbrellas even when it's raining. Tip: It's best to reserve in advance!

Location, food and atmosphere were all excellent, but the service here, although friendly, was a bit slow. To be fair, we were warned that they were a bit short staffed and that there would be a wait, so overall was very good and we were taken here by regulars who said this wasn’t normal, so I would still recommend this place quite heartily :)

Always eaten deliciously! Alessia is a super attentive & friendly service manager, as is the rest of the family! The restaurant has by far the most beautiful inner garden in Villingen and they always have great weekly specials! Drinks and presentation of the food are very important here, as are creativity and taste, which is what makes the Kapuzinerhof unique!

The Prosciutto pizza was tasty and large and the Bruschettone Burrata was very delicate and more than an appetizer!

Pizza took an hour with far too few toppings. Beer took 30 minutes. Not good service, pretty slacked off. Way too loud in the shed.

There's not much to say except: Food 1A, service and friendliness 1A, ambience in the courtyard 1A. I can't write more than a clear recommendation for the Kapuzinerhof. I always enjoy coming here. Keep it up!

Whether it was bruschetta, pizza or ravioli - the food was great! Unfortunately the service overshadowed the good food. We waited 20 minutes for the drink order and another 15 minutes until the water was finally served. When the main course came after almost 1.5 hours, we ordered more water with our meal. However, it wasn't served until we had already finished eating...

We really liked the food. The Bruschettone Buratta in particular is highly recommended. It is listed on the menu as a starter, but you would definitely be satisfied with it as a main course. We have now tried all the pasta dishes and we really like them. Unfortunately, the service is a bit slow and the waitress sometimes has difficulty understanding the order because her German is not sufficient. If you want to take leftovers with you (which is not uncommon as the portions are very large), you will only be given the empty packaging and you have to pack your own food.

Very nice, historic building, with plenty of space (including in the inner courtyard). The interior decor isn't quite to my taste (with the plastic chairs) - but it's pretty chic at first glance.

Went there for the first time today and our meals (Pizza Burrata & Pizza Primavera) were really delicious! The ambience & style of the restaurant is also very nice and modern. The staff is also very friendly. Price-performance ratio absolutely fine. I would love to come back :)

We came on Saturday evening. Only ordered 2 pizzas. After waiting for 1 hour, no response. After 2 hours pizza was served. The manager was very unfriendly and rude. No excuse despite such a long wait. It's normal to wait 2 hours here. Other tables waited just as long. Since then, never again to Kapuzinerhof. Pizza tastes normal. But nothing special. Addendum. It wasn't this Saturday. Instead of reacting to the criticism and possibly improving the services, they want to contact a lawyer (you can also do that). But I recommend that you concentrate on your customers as before.

We ate there yesterday and ordered a rump steak with pepper sauce and fries for 30 euros. The place was full, but the wait was excessively long compared to other places, too long. But what was then served, although nice in a small iron pan, was a huge disappointment. Angus beef, medium? The meat was done, more gristle and buaa when I remember it. The one in the pepper sauce... That was anything but one. I left it halfway through and had really worked through it, hoping it would get better. The fries couldn't save it either. If you like meat like I do, you go to a nice restaurant with such prices and you look forward to quality and delicious food. Not even close. I'm sad and disappointed. My daughter's salmon pasta was tasty, but didn't make up for the disappointment. Luckily the company was good. Another thing I noticed was the acoustics. Due to the way the place is built, it quickly becomes very loud when all the guests are having a conversation. The cleaner should have the courage to work on the imaginative wine racks, unless the cobwebs were part of the decoration. Positive, nice staff, some very accommodating, food is beautifully prepared and served, nice cutlery. Make up your own mind, but eating meat... Better somewhere else. I can recommend Irish Pub Villingen, around the corner.

The waitresses are very nice and polite, you always feel welcome. Food is very tasty. Location is very modern and beautifully decorated. Whether Valentine's Day or Christmas, everything is planned down to the smallest detail. The restaurant is highly recommended, it is one of the best restaurants in the area.

I really want it on the Push International Women's Day. Unfortunately, today's experience was very disappointing. The food was tasteless and absolutely unseasoned. The service is mercilessly overwhelmed. It was unbearably loud and the atmosphere was cold. We waited 1.5 hours for the food and that was really worse than expected. Orders were partly taken incorrectly and partly forgotten. If I pay 40 euros for a fish grill plate, I don't expect 3/4 plate full of fries (which I didn't even order) We'll try again on a less crowded day because I just want to believe the Kapuzinerhof's reputation. If I were to give my opinion only on today's one, I would have to say: Better go somewhere else!

We were very happy and had to wait over 1.5 hours for the pizza, that's not possible, there was no apology from the staff and they left us behind after ordering 😢 everyone who came after us got their food before us, only after that When we asked what was going on, they responded and were then rude. And it wasn't comfortable because it was too cold, so once and not again.

The pizza is really delicious, and the homemade pasta also tastes wonderful. So it's definitely worth coming here for a really good Italian meal. In summer you can sit in a wonderful courtyard. Inside the atmosphere is a bit chilly. It doesn't look comfortable, but it looks chic and modern. Unfortunately the service is rather weak. Everyone is friendly, but it can happen that the pasta comes with the wrong sauce, that different pasta comes, or that the pizza takes forever. It's also really bad that you can only pay with a card if you spend more than 35 euros. Normally I would have given it 4 stars, but this bad habit means I lose a point.

Ambience just too cool. Uncomfortable and acoustics too loud. Unfortunately the fish was over salted. The chef may be in love. Other guests confirmed that they also had fish. Unfortunately there are no decorations on the tables to show some New Year's Eve ambience. Everything is very sparse.
