Fantastisches, frisches Sushi und super leckere Ramen! Viele vegetarische Optionen gibt es auch. Familiär geführtes Restaurant mit super freundlichen Mitarbeitern. Man kann zuschauen und staunen, wie das Essen zubereitet wird, oder entspannt draußen an der frischen Luft sitzen. Im Hintergrund läuft immer klassische Musik, total angenehm. Eine absolute Bereicherung für unseren Kiez!

Sehr gutes Sushi mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Freundliche ungezwungene Bedienung. Offene Küche bei der man dem Koch beim zaubern Zuschauen kann. Einziger Minuspunkt für mich, dass man nicht so privat sitzt. Ab Frühling aber auch wieder draußen möglich.

Große Auswahl an Sushi inklusive vegetarisch, vegan, fritiert, mit Frischkäse, spicy tuna und einige sehr kreative Sorten, die ich so in Berlin noch nirgends gesehen habe. Sehr frisch und lecker. Wir waren heute hier zu zweit essen und es hat uns wunderbar geschmeckt. Besonders das Nigiri Menü mit 7 vom Chef empfohlenen Nigiri können wir empfehlen aber alles war super lecker! Alles dort sind total nett und das Ambiente ist schön und authentisch! Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

Auf der Suche nach einem kleinen Highlight-Mitbringsel stach dieses Lädchen inmitten der vielfältigen bewegten Berliner Welt mit einer ruhigen besonnenen Athmosphäre hervor. Schon beim Betreten schwingt ein freundlich engagiertes Willkommen mit, das sagt 'Wir wissen, dass wir gut sind, komm und genieße.' - Meinen Wünschen wurde freundlich begegnet und bestes Sushi in kürzester Zeit 'to go' vorbereitet. Es war sehr lecker und preislich absolut passend für Menge und Qualität. Ich komme sicher bei Gelegenheit nochmal zum vor Ort Verweilen und Genießen. Vielen Dank für den netten weihnachtlichen Gruß im Päckchen. 🙏🏼

Stopped by for a quick visit and didn’t get to try too much, but it was enough to see that the quality of the fish is excellent — fresh, clean, and melt-in-your-mouth good. I’ll definitely be coming back to explore more of the menu. Prices are slightly higher, but still reasonable for the quality you get, and absolutely worth it if you’re looking for really good sushi. The open kitchen is a great touch — you can see the chefs preparing everything, which speaks to both the hygiene and the care they put into the food. The service was also very friendly. Overall, a great spot I’m happy to recommend.

Yesterday, the three of us ate there – including our little daughter – and we were delighted! The service and the sushi chef were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always in good spirits. The sushi was excellent: fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious! Our daughter was also warmly welcomed and even given children's chopsticks, which we thought was a really thoughtful touch. It's clear that they put a lot of love and attention into the details and that guests of all ages are welcome. The atmosphere is cozy, clean, and modern – you immediately feel at ease. We will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant!

Great sushi, the nigiris were delicious!

I was really looking forward to the sushi here and was unfortunately disappointed. The order was quick and the selection was good. I also liked the ratio of rice to fish. However, the consistency of the rice was a bit too hard for my taste, and I found the fish, in particular, to be a bit too warm in places. I also had some very stringy pieces of the fish that were difficult to chew. All in all, it wasn't a particularly impressive experience in terms of taste – unfortunately.

Excellent Japanese sushi restaurant, far removed from mainstream sushi. Everything tastes excellent. I highly recommend the Kaiyo specials and ask the chef for a freestyle recommendation.

Kayo Izakaya offers the best freshly prepared sushi and other dishes. After 5-6 visits, we're still thrilled! Thank you for adding culinary delights to our neighborhood.

An exceptional sushi hotspot was definitely missing here. Good selection and friendly service. I'm still exploring the menu, but my first impressions are very positive.

The atmosphere was lovely, the waitress was very friendly, and you felt at home. The food was truly spectacular; everything was fresh and tasted great. I will definitely be back.

Great sushi. Fresh ingredients, absolutely delicious, and the best part: My daughter and I were able to watch the preparation. I would only eat sushi here from now on! We had seaweed salad, excellent sashimi, and mixed salmon sushi. It was truly unbelievably delicious. My only request for the summer: Please offer outdoor seating! They said it will be coming soon (maybe they're still waiting for a permit?).

I'll tell you straight, the world needs more nice people like the ones in this shop. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the nice gentleman, but we were there on Tuesday evening (June 10, 2025) with my little daughter and we received such warm service. Thank you again! I love the new location! The staff is always friendly, the sushi is good quality, and I especially love that they have ama ebi nigiri which is hard to find in Berlin!

We arrived here at 12:30 and were the second customers. Our ordered dishes were served at 12:50. So the wait was 20 minutes. We liked the rolls. I would come back to try the tempura fried rolls. However, it's worth considering the time constraints.

A hidden gem with potential: KAIYO is a real insider tip for sushi lovers. The furnishings are modern and stylish, and the music creates a pleasant atmosphere. The sushi itself is a poem for the palate: the combinations are balanced and the fresh ingredients taste delicious. A small mishap with the order was more than made up for by the owner's generous gesture. The service is warm and attentive, even if you have to be patient due to the current one-man staff. If you value authentic cuisine and a cozy atmosphere, this is the right place for you. The only small point of criticism: the waiting times can be a little longer. But the wait is definitely worth it!

I did walk-in to place my first order. I needed my sushi to be done really fast so didnt want to experiment with delivery. The cafe was empty with no visitors at friday eve, so my order took literally 5 mins to cook. I ordered a set for two people. The most valuable pieces there were tempura rolls with tuna (love crunchy rolls!) and two sushis. I payed 23.90 per set and I think its a bit overpriced. Would lile to come back again and try more dishes.

Ordered a Konsai Menu via Wolt. Disappointed. Literally not much better than buying packed Sushi in a supermarket. Quality is not good. Also portion size, stated as sufficient for 2 people but it is barely enough for one adult and a kid.

KAIYO Sushi ist definitiv das beste Sushi im gesamten Umkreis. Frisch, lecker und sehr schöne Auswahl. Auch nach unzähligen Bestellungen und Abholungen, kann ich keinen einzigen Mangel nennen. Absolut zu empfehlen!

Wer traditionelles Sushi aus Tokio oder mindestens Düsseldorf kennt und liebt, sollte in Hamburg ins Kaiyö gehen! Wir waren heute das erste Mal dort und sind vollends begeistert. Wir kennen alle Varianten japanischer Kochkunst und das Kaiyö ist auf Anhieb in unsere Top10 gelandet. Der Service war super freundlich. Der Fisch war extrem zart, von sehr hoher Qualität und frisch. Wir kommen wieder!

Gutes Sushi, schön angerichtet. Die veganen Varianten sind super lecker, esse sonst immer nur mit Fisch, aber hier lohnen sich die vegetarischen und veganen Varianten besonders.

Kleines Restaurant mit großartigem Sushi und der Preis stimmt auch!

Lustig wie das Wesen, welches das Essen liefern sollte, direkt davon ausgeht das es Trinkgeld gibt und dann noch anfängt zu beleidigen. Sollte sich mal überlegen ob es der richtige Beruf ist, oder nicht doch lieber Putzfrau werden sollte.

Die Mitarbeiter sind nett. Das Sushi schmeckt meist sehr gut. Inklusive der 10% Rabatt bei Bestellungen vor Ort ist der Preis normal, aber ich musste auf den Rabatt von meiner Seite aus aufmerksam machen, daher 4 von 5 Sterne. Edit 4 Monate später: die 10% gibts auch auf Nachfrage nicht, obwohl sie noch immer auf der Karte stehen.

Ohne Frage das beste Sushi im Kiez. Preis Leistung ist hervorragend und stets eine super schnelle Lieferung. Einziger Kritikpunkt. Updatet bei der Lieferando Seite mal die Paprika Maki- da ist schon seit Ewigkeiten ein Typo. ;)

Ideal um eine kleine Pause zu machen und den Alltag für kurze Zeit zu vergessen. #94 ist wirklich gut und auch #30 #41 ist schmeckt ganz gut. Tatsächlich handelt es sich hier um kein großes restaurant. Kaiyo ist eher mit einem kleinen Take-Away Shop zu vergleichen. Dennoch gibt es drinnen und draußen Sitzplätze.

Frisch zubereitetes Sushi fast vor der eigenen Haustür, was will man mehr :)
