The atmosphere of the institution is more for pensioners. Type of food: buffet table, from 12:00 to 14:00 you can come and eat, take whatever you want, for €14 per person. But you should not collect a lot of food right away, because if there is a lot left, you can be fined (100g - 5€). There are drinks, alcohol, but for a separate fee. What a great buffet, huge selection of meat and vegetables, great Mongolian grill (all fresh and huge selection of seafood, noodles, vegetables and accompanying sauces), delicious sauces/soups and at reasonable prices. In return you get nice service and a cozy atmosphere! It's a shame we don't live around the corner, here you can eat until you burst!

All employees are very nice and accommodating. They are extremely attentive. The buffet is always very attractively prepared and is regularly replenished. Furthermore, what I have eaten so far has always been very tasty. The price is reasonable for the performance. However, I don't like the atmosphere. Unfortunately, the area around the entrance is not very well maintained. The air is a bit stuffy and a few lamps are always flickering, which gets tiring after a while. In general, renovations could be made here, especially the toilet. The floor there is sticky, it's dark, it's appropriate, and the toilet seat looks probably older than me. Ultimately, I don't come there for the toilet, but for the food.

I can highly recommend the restaurant. We went there for dinner on a Sunday evening for the buffet. Service top. Prices reasonable. The only thing I would complain about is that there is an unpleasant smell of cigarette smoke from outside in the entrance area. Sushi was great, unfortunately after refilling the salmon sushi was frozen.

Unfortunately, the quality has decreased massively and is now very cheap mass-produced goods, especially the fried things taste like old fat and the quality of the meat dishes has decreased. Then it's better to go to the competition in Giessen, but there is significantly more quality there.

There are sufficient parking spaces available in front of the restaurant and access is barrier-free. Although popular, you can usually find a place even without prior reservation. Unfortunately, the restaurant lacks a bit of ambience, I feel somehow lost in the large, sober rooms, the Asian charm is missing. The cold and warm buffet is fine, no outliers up or down, the selection is standard. The staff is quick and always friendly, and the spatial design allows small children to move around. Overall, a visit to the Imperial Palace is recommended.

What happened to this restaurant? I'm scared. Went there on Friday evening around 8 p.m. There were hardly any people there. The buffet for over 21,- is no longer appropriate. Little variety, the last leftovers in the containers. Unfortunately, after a few bites, the taste was no longer good at all. It was dry, as if it had been under the heat lamp all day. Unfortunately the jelly was not edible. The ice cream is totally soft. Let's not even talk about sushi. The service was very nice and tried hard. Unfortunately, during the entire stay someone came to fill all the plates (loud clattering), at the same time the entire floor was mopped and the entire staff (more in number than guests) helped themselves to the buffet and emptied the bowls. Basically it is true that things are not thrown away. But it was 8:30 p.m. when we felt forced to order the bill. The food was empty anyway. 2 people buffet, each a large cola over 50 euros. In addition, there is an atmosphere that makes you want to go out and the taste is not good. I won't come back. too bad.☹️

When we asked, we were told that this map was old and that these maps were no longer up to date. A card on the neighboring table was presented to us with prices pasted over it. All the cards have been changed. Possible! Except for ours. We then asked to speak to the boss, but he wasn't there. Another waitress came to our table and said the card wasn't theirs, but the print and appearance of the neighboring table card corresponded 100% to ours (except for the prices stuck over). The third claimed that a customer had brought the card with him. OK. What to do? I paid and asked that the boss please call me back the next day. And what do they believe? Did the boss call back? Exactly: no. I called twice more and the boss was never available. Do I want to reserve a table? No, I don't want to reserve a table! I would like to speak to the managing director. I live in Hamburg, it's difficult to go there to clarify the matter. Maybe it's exaggerated and you think "he shouldn't act like that because of a few euros". I probably wouldn't have paid less in Hamburg. But another calculation: In my opinion I paid €23 too much. If this happened to another customer whose card wasn't covered over, it's already €46 in one day. 46€x 7 days/week= 322€ per week x 4= 1288 € per month x 12= 15456 € per year The tax office might be interested in this! Okay, so the store probably isn't open every day. Maybe it was actually just me. If not: If you are interested, I would be happy to pass on my email address. A nice call from the boss and a polite apology or a glass of champagne would have been necessary to satisfy a somewhat puzzled customer. That's where I think the mistake lies!

A few days ago I had dinner in the Imperial Palace and when I came in there were hardly any guests there. A few years ago, the restaurant was always busy. I also didn't like the food, I was so shocked that the sushi was old, you couldn't eat it and the other thing was as a buffet, there was a selection, but it wasn't inviting either. The food used to be much better, but today it just doesn't taste good anymore!!! What happened there to make things so bad, it's actually a real shame, I really enjoyed coming to the Imperial Palace and regularly. I mentioned the food, unfortunately the problem was laughed at and not taken seriously. I paid 26.70 euros for a meal that was very bad. What I also noticed was that the floor was wet, the carpet was slippery, strange, I already read that in the review. You have to think about what's going wrong with you because no guests come.

The buffet was great, a downer, you have to wear a mask and disposable gloves at the buffet, but finally enjoy Asian again...keep it up👍

To be honest, the food didn't taste good and I've eaten in many Chinese restaurants but this restaurant has nothing to do with Chinese food and cannot be compared. The food was nothing like that and the meat is like rubber. And I will never visit the restaurant.

Food was and is always plentiful, but always the same! Attentive service staff, but the tables are no longer prepared as before, untidy (clips for plates are scattered on the table), tables are not wiped down, and there is also damage to the buffet display, which has been partially repaired with duct tape. The outside area was also better maintained. Curbulent people cannot sit outside as all seats have armrests and are therefore very restricted. I would like more, among other things, order, organization and Cleanliness. Unfortunately it has slowed down a lot. Too bad!

Unfortunately, our visit to the Imperial Palace in Marburg on August 3rd, 2024 was a very disappointing experience. First of all, during our meal we had to watch as a member of staff swept the floor next to us. This was very unpleasant and unsavory. Although the restaurant is supposed to be open until 10 p.m., the staff started clearing the buffet at 9:10 p.m. Throughout our stay, many containers were almost empty and not refilled sufficiently. This resulted in us not having the choice we expected. What was particularly annoying was that the ice cream and the accompanying spoons were put away shortly after 9 p.m., so we could no longer enjoy dessert. Another negative point was the billing. I wanted to pay for an adult and a children's buffet. Despite the fact that my child is clearly no older than ten, I was not believed and had to pay the adult buffet price. A discussion was not possible and unfortunately I didn't have my child's ID with me. To make matters worse, a plate we were given was dirty. There were still bits of food stuck to it, as if it hadn't been cleaned properly during the dishwasher cycle. I put the plate aside so the staff could see the condition. When we left, the plate was still there, ignored and just as dirty. In summary, our visit was extremely disappointing. We will definitely not recommend this restaurant and will not visit it again.

Absolute disgrace!!! At exactly 9:30 p.m. you are asked several times (in our case 5 times) whether you would like to go to the buffet again. Our plates were still full. We then replied yes, we would still like to go. The waitress then said loudly and very unfriendly that we should leave now, she wanted to clean up. We were told exactly the same thing the other four times. When I said that the food would then be cold, everyone shouted: “We're cleaning now.” Buffet only open until 9:30 p.m. According to Google opening hours it is open until 10 p.m. There won't be another visit!!!

We were thrilled with the food again, drinks came very quickly and everyone was very friendly. Only the sanitary area wasn't nice. Doors can't be closed and sinks don't drain.

I think it would be very cool there! Everything looked very new and good and the food tasted really good! Child-friendliness is also available. The prices are also reasonable. The only criticism I have is that there are too few staff, so there are 1 or 2 more waiters in such a large restaurant. But all in all really good and recommended!

We were in the Imperial Palace for the first time with 7 people. We don't have a reservation. The buffet was sufficiently full, with everything there and super tasty, especially the Peking soup tasted very good.

Apparently they took the criticism to heart. Everything was fresh and was constantly replenished, large selection as you are used to. The only drawback is the service, which can still be improved. Everything is good, fresh and tasty.

Let's start with the positive. It's delicious, everyone is very nice. It's clean too. What I don't think is so great is that when something is empty at the buffet, it takes a while to refill it. The prices have also increased incredibly, even for the children, which I find a bit outrageously expensive. We don't go there that often anymore. But I don't want to badmouth it at all because it really tastes good. If we want Chinese food, we'll definitely continue to go there, just not as often anymore. Thank you very much 🍀

My experience at this restaurant was less than ideal. First, I noticed that the floor in the restaurant was dirty and slippery, which was uncomfortable and risky for the guests. Furthermore, the service left something to be desired: the waiters were rude and not friendly. Unfortunately, my visit ended with an even more unpleasant surprise when I got food poisoning the next day after eating seafood at this restaurant. It was an unpleasant experience that highlighted the importance of strict adherence to hygiene and quality standards. It's terrible that I found a cockroach and strange worms in a plate, the bottom is greasy and sticky. I demand they be examined!!!!

The Imperial Palace offers a solid, rich buffet. Taste good. The restaurant has a lot of tables. Unfortunately, this means that the seating area is a bit cramped and every trip to the buffet is a game for half the group. When the house is full, the atmosphere and background noise are no longer comfortable. Compared to the space available, the number of parking spaces appears to be too small. Pay attention to the signs of illegal parking scammers.

For 25 euros you can eat whatever you want and how much you want. I recommend

Chinese and Mongolian buffet. The air was a bit bad, as usual when frying/grilling in the room, the smell of food also lingered in the clothes. Great selection of fresh fish including various squid and crabs, you just had to wait quite a long time for it to be ready on the grill. The lighting was a bit poor and unfortunately there was no window seat. All in all, I would go there again.

The rooms could do with a good basic cleaning...lamps haven't been cleaned in a while, electrical equipment hasn't been repaired in a while...electric insect killers are in the restaurant with cobwebs The sanitary facilities are apparently completely neglected, cleaning is probably done superficially... repairs are probably no longer done at all... But see for yourself next time you visit, you will probably have to do without our presence for a while

What else do you want to say? The Imperial Palace is one of the best restaurants in Marburg! You pay a relatively cheap price and can eat as much as you want. Judging by the selection and quality, you get a lot more to eat here than you paid for. That's all you can eat. The rental of the Imperial Palace is also very nice and the waiters are nice. The only criticism is that the drinks are very expensive. But somehow you have to get the money back for the cheap food.

Buffet genial Teller 3 mal ratzeputz leer gegessen, besondere Empfehlung Hühnchen am Spieß außen knusprig und innen zart. Immer wieder gerne Herr Seifert und Rainer.

Zuerst einmal, es war mal besser. Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe vergangenem Samstag Vor Ort, nachdem mehrere Leute bemerken dass der Gemüsereis nach verschmorten Topf roch und auch danach schmeckte und auch die Bedienung darüber informiert wurde, passierte nichts... es wurde alles so gelassen und wurde weiter gelächelt. Über die sehr sehr unsauberen Toiletten möchte ich hier nicht weiter drauf eingehen und möchte vielleicht auch nicht die Küche sehen. Es tut mir (uns) sehr leid dass ich (wir) nichts Positives schreiben können. Sehr schade, es war mal sehr gut.

Das Essen war ok, aber durchschnittlich; die Beschriftung teilweise wenig hilfreich oder nicht vorhanden; die Anordnung (Mais neben wackelpudding) vereinzelt seltsam. Die Luft war stickig und fettig und überheizt. Die Bedienung war in Ordnung. Allerdings ließen die hygienischen Zustände sehr zu wünschen übrig. Besteck und Geschirr waren nicht restlos sauber. Auf dem gewischten Tisch waren noch essensspuren, der Fußboden um den Tisch herum und im gesamten Gastraum klebten. Die Toiletten waren wirklich ekelhaft: die eine Herrentoilette war komplett gesperrt, bei der anderen waren "nur" 2 von 4 Pissoirs defekt und eine Toilettenschüssel lag von der Wand abmontiert auf dem Boden. überall urin und papiere auf dem Boden. Man fragt sich, wie die Zustände in der Küche sind. In dem Zustand nicht empfehlenswert!

Typisches Buffetrestaurant. Sehr wenig Auswahl für Vegetarier, keine gute Beschilderung an den Speisen, so dass man unsicher war, was wirklich vegetarisch ist. Das Essen war sehr salzig und lag etwas schwer im Magen. Das Ambiente war ansprechend, typisch dekoriert, die Bedienung war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wäre nicht unbedingt meine Wahl, wenn ich schick essen gehen will, hat aber für die Mittagspause beim Samstagseinkauf seinen Zweck erfüllt.

Ortsausgang Marburg Richtung Cölbe gelegenes grosses Restaurant mit wirklich tollem Mittagsbuffet. Man sollte früh da sei bevor die große Masse eintrifft. Viele Vorspeisen, Fisch- und Fleischgerichte und diverse Nachtische. Sehr freundlicher Service und immer hilfsbereit. Vernünftiges Preis-Leistungsverhältnis-Verhältnis. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert und gerne wieder.

Gutes asiatisches Essen. Wir nehmen immer das Buffet. Auswahl ist jedoch begrenzt und um die Schliesszeiten würde ich nicht mehr gehen, da schon einige Sachen dann nicht mehr aufgefüllt wurden.

Ich liebe chinesisches Essen.Hier kann man sehr gut essen, bedient von freundlichen und kompetenten Personal. Heute am 7.7.22 um die Mittagszeit zum Essen gekommen, alles topp. Buffet aufgefüllt, heiß und übersichtlich. Personal wie immer sehr freundlich, preislich normal.

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe zum Mittagessen im Kaiserpalast. Das Essen war wie immer gut und die Bedienungen waren freundlich. Leider war nur eine Seite des Buffets mit Speisen belegt. Dadurch kam es zu langen Wartezeiten, die gerade für ältere Gäste nicht so angenehm waren.

Wir sind lange gerne in den Kaiserpalast zum Essen gegangen, aber das war wohl jetzt das letzte mal. Fast sämtliche Teller waren nicht sauber. In den Minischüsseln waren dunkle Soßenreste, die Suppenschüsseln waren ein wildes Sammelsurium und ein großer Teil davon mit Abplatzer am Rand. Sushi war wässrig und wurde kaum nachgelegt. Buffet war wild geordnet- z.B. Bohnen und Mais beim Nachtisch. Kleberstreifenreste auf dem Fussboden ...insgesamt alles sehr lieblos. Geschmack des warmen Essen war in Ordnung. Aber keine große Auswahl. Eis war sehr !! weich, ob da die Temperatur stimmt wäre zu überprüfen. Für jemanden der Mittags schnell Essen will, ist das Restaurant sicherlich eine gute Möglichkeit. Für alle die halbweg gepflegt, ordentlich und mit Service Essen gehen möchten empfehle ich dieses Restaurant nicht zu wählen.
