Kaisergarten in Dresden

If you can get used to this unusual place, you will be pleasantly surprised.

We stopped in for dinner and didn't regret it. We ordered duck and mushroom soup, cabbage and meat pancakes, and jasmine tea. Everything was delicious. The staff was polite and friendly. The atmosphere was quiet. The prices were affordable.

The staff were unfriendly and the food was poorly seasoned. The sauces were more like soups, and the prices weren't good enough to justify these points.

Four of us went there without booking. Super friendly staff and absolutely delicious food. It's a shame we live 150 km away, otherwise this would be our regular spot. 😍

The food is very tasty. Three of us had dinner twice, everyone had very tasty dishes. The price is normal 11-12€ per dish. There is delicious plum wine. There are questions about the service of the staff! They do not give change, they keep it for themselves without asking. My mother had a special tea in a thermos, they forbade her to drink it!!! 😲 This is the first time I see this in Germany!!! It is nice to sit on the summer terrace, there is protection from the rain and a small garden with flowers.

Unfortunately, the food wasn't particularly good. My friend and I both had a meat dish with rice and sauce, and neither of us liked it. The chicken had a very thick layer of breading and didn't taste good. The roast duck had a lot of fat on it, and the peanut sauce was more like a curry sauce with a nutty flavor, both in appearance and taste.

We were in Dresden this weekend. It was very low-key. We stayed at the hostel across the street for one night. After coming back from the stadium, thirsty, we thought we'd have a quick shandy in the beer garden. It was tranquil, and the service was very friendly. We told them we had a reservation at Schwerelos that evening, and if we didn't like it, we'd come back. What can I say? The other restaurant was absolutely terrible. So we came back and received friendly service. The prices are very customer-friendly. The food, of course, isn't haute cuisine, but it's tasty and plentiful. The spring rolls were delicious. I hope it wasn't just the beer.

We were there yesterday before Andreas Gabalier's concert. The beer was nice and cold. Please don't put ice in the beer, that's completely unacceptable. The rest was okay: the food was delicious, the service was reasonable, and the prices were great for these days. And I like Chinese food, I don't know why; they're friendly. Bottom line: It was worth the visit; I'd love to come back. Thanks, keep up the good work.

We stopped here spontaneously after my sister's master's degree celebration at the Hygiene Museum. From the outside, we thought...uh oh. But in the end, the outdoor seating was very cozy. A bit like grandma's garden. The food was perfectly fine. The service was the absolute highlight. A mixture of Asian hospitality and "I don't care about anything." We had a good laugh, so it's okay. We recommend the Kaisergarten if you don't want to go to the cellar to laugh.

Everything was great except for the staff member who insulted the customers for no reason. The ladies were super friendly.

The worst and most unreliable delivery service in Germany. Unfortunately you have to give one star here. We wanted to enjoy our Good Friday with the family and an Asian menu. The order was made and accepted. After 45 minutes, the store realizes that they can't fulfill the order and cancels it. Thanks for nothing. 😡 That should have been said immediately. You don't let a guest sit at the table for 45 minutes and then say, please go somewhere else. And the best comes last. The tip paid in advance was of course retained and will not be refunded. Sorry, I just don't have the words here... That was a lovely Good Friday all around 👍 I hope that you are treated exactly the same way you treat others.

Unfortunately the food is very bad, curry was not curry and inedible, the fried noodles were spaghetti which was very disappointing. Unfortunately, the drinks were also very disappointing; instead of normal cola, sparkling water with syrup was served. The service was also very unfriendly, the food and drinks we ordered were not served but simply thrown away. By the way, you can't pay separately because it would probably be too much effort.

Top food at the best price. Simply delicious and very good. I can only recommend 😋👍🏻

I can't understand some of the bad reviews. The price and performance ratio should be evaluated, among other things. And that's great! Yesterday I had two spring rolls, baked chicken with 8 delights and a large beer for €17. The taste was good, the main course was hotter than I've ever had it in a snack bar/restaurant. The waitresses were very friendly and accommodating. The food came very quickly. Even the candle that went out during my meal was replaced. Anyone who expects absolute luxury in the interior for such a small thaler will certainly be disappointed. But this was not my claim. Everything was clean and the furnishings were appropriate. I'll come back the next time I visit Dresden. Thank you.

I tried paying by card, but a rejection message popped up at first, so I tried again. He said the second time was also a failure and asked for cash to pay in cash. As I came out, I saw a message that the card payment was completed, so I asked to go back and confirm. Even though I showed them the payment details translated, they got angry and said my card was strange. When the male boss came in and asked me to pull out the receipt again, he pulled out the first receipt that didn't pay and started making a fuss again. Since I had already paid twice, I told him to take another one, and the male manager said he was sorry and told me that the payment had been completed. The woman who was making a fuss ran into the kitchen without saying sorry. The worst service not only in Germany but in all the European countries I've been to. I really want to give it 1 point, but the male owner is kind, so I give it 2 points.

The restaurant is a legend in the southern suburbs. Nowhere else can you find such authentic and tasty Asian food. The staff is very motivated to serve fresh beer again and again. It's particularly worth visiting before or after dynamo games.

The curry with vegetables and fish was sooo good! However, the place stank of cigarettes even though nobody was smoking. Being a non-smoker, I didn't enjoy it much. Nonetheless, it hasn't stopped me from going a second time. The beer is cheaper than at other restaurants.

The boss is very concerned about the well-being of the guests. The garden is lovingly furnished.

Extremely rude people. I order something clearly. They gave me the wrong order and charged me way more for that. When I was trying to explain, the waitress said it's delicious food. I was alone, and the other two ladies came to say it's good food. I would never come back to this place. Rude people and literally scamers.

After over 15 years I was here again for dinner. The following still applies here: the ambience and cleanliness are not that great. However, the food and the price-performance ratio were very good. Fast and friendly service. I will definitely come back when I'm in Dresden!

Environment - a nice garden. I liked the food, it was freshly prepared. There was no sign of putting the meat in a very strong glutamate gel soy sauce, which is what most Asian restaurants do. The men who served were pleasant. The woman who cashiered at the end should learn to behave properly. She was aggressive. She ruined absolutely everything!

A well-known Chinese snack bar in town. For over 10 years now, I've been going out irregularly to get something "to go" or stopping in with friends. Over the years the quality has gotten worse, but that doesn't mean you can't eat it. Other restaurants have just developed further in terms of taste. The Peking soup was once great, but it doesn't come close to that from "Strassi", and the sauces for the dishes are slightly watery. Edited to 2 points.... Visits are becoming more and more rare due to the quality... today brought to go again: wrong food... taste poor

Staff in a bad mood, their faces literally clenched into a fist. Food not really recommended but not bad either. Shrimp dishes contain exactly ONE shrimp. When this was brought up, the only response was “of course, shrimp expensive”. So it was actually intentional that there was only one mini shrimp on the plate. In short: once and never again.

Delicious food at a reasonable price. We enjoyed dinner there and would return anytime 🙏

A very nice shop with a great outdoor area in summer. Central to the city and still quiet. The food is very tasty and the portions are reasonable for the price. I personally deducted 1* because I find it a bit oily at times, but that's just a personal opinion. I can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience, the price/performance is reasonable. Orders via delivery services also work perfectly.

I cannot give a rating regarding the quality of the food. I ordered through Lieferando and after over 70! After waiting minutes, I was told by a "nice" lady on the phone that the two meals were still not ready. It would take even longer. I then canceled my order and asked for a refund of the amount I had already transferred. I was told by phone that I should come by to collect my money. I refused this and requested a refund. Now the lady became snotty and unfriendly - you would have problems with Lieferando. WELL THEN YOU CANNOT OFFER THE ORDERING SERVICE THROUGH LIEFERANDO! IF YOU CAN'T DEAL WITH IT! The lady told me that she wasn't interested in any of this and hung up. NEVER AGAIN!

7€ for pasta with supposedly vegetables and chicken. You could count the vegetables and chicken on one hand. You have to pay in advance and they already know why. Never again !

I ate at the Kaisergarten several times a week in the early/mid 90s. The Kaisergarten was still in a kind of container, covered and maybe 10-15 camping tables and chairs. But the service was really GREAT 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 and I never again ate as deliciously as I did back then in the Kaisergarten. 🙏🏼 I wish you all the best for your future 🍀🐖 and it was a very nice memory of my time in Dresden! ❤️

Die Bedienung war sehr unfreundlich. Wir waren eine Gruppe von ca 10 Personen und würden im Raucherbereich platziert.

Preis- Leistungsverhältnis passt, ich würde sagen es ist ein Asia Imbiss mit Sitzmöglichkeiten. Die Auswahl der Gerichte sowie Qualität und Geschmack ist wie beim „Standard Asiaten um die Ecke“ also nichts extravagantes aber gut. Die Gerichte kommen sehr schnell aus der Küche und die Mitarbeiter sind alle freundlich.

Gemütlicher Außenbereich mit viel Grün, Schatten und einem Teich. Essen war lecker und nicht überteuer. Pro Person ca. 15 Euro für Essen und Getränk, wobei man gut satt wurde. Leider keine Visa Zahlung möglich.

Wir kommen schon seit über 30 Jahren hier her. Essen ist immer gut und reichlich. Wir werden freundlich bedient und können im Sommer unter großen Schirmen sitzen. Preis ist völlig in Ordnung.

Angenehmes Plätzchen mit gutem Essen ist so ein kleiner Geheimtipp. Preise sind komplett angenehm und das Essen kommt immer schnell. Schmeckt Dan auch immer suuper. Ich muss sagen draußen setze ich mich gerne hin aber drinnen finde ich es ein bisschen ungemütlich. PS: Leute die Indoor Rauchen wollen sind hier auch gut aufgehoben es gibt hier nämlich einen großen Raucherraum

Ehrlich Meinung darfst bei Google nicht schreiben halte euch fern von den Laden.

Schmutzig Gläser. Getränke muss man sich selber holen. Wir haben im Garten gessen wo leider nur Schatten ist und keine Sonne. Schade bei schönen Wetter. Ich kann nur eins Empfehlen...schnell wieder gehen.

Super nettes Personal Essen war sehr sehr lecker Preis normal

Schade haben schon öfters bestellt. Obwohl es in 10 min fertig werden sollte stand es schon da. Ente war trocken Gemüse hart und die Soße schmeckte nach gar nichts. Es ist teuer geworden, was Ich auch normal ist, aber die Qualität muß auch bleiben und das war absolut nicht der Fall. Ich werde wohl wieder selbst kochen.

Leckeres Essen, frisch gezapftes Bier und nette Kellnerinnen. Der Laden ist aber ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen und ist nicht ganz so einladenden von Außen.

Essen ist nicht gut - mir war sehr schlecht danach Den Hund sollte man ihnen entwenden ! Sowas aber auch 👎🏾
