Great food, everything homemade! All soups and all other dishes are great! Even the sweet and sour sauce is a dream. Even homemade! Everything is made fresh. It's best to come with 2 people. It is a shared buffet, dishes are brought to the table to be shared. Prices are top. Quality too! I would have preferred to give it 6 stars. I will definitely eat here again!

I wanted to take part in the evening buffet, it would have been the first time, I called and was told 4 hours before closing time that it wasn't that busy today and that they wanted to finish earlier??? 🤣 Sorry guys, but that's really not professional, if you treat new customers like that and basically tell them to their faces that you don't want to do their work, then I can imagine the passion with which they cook. Something like that has never happened to me before

We ate in the Kaiser Garden for the first time this evening. We were thrilled with the fresh and delicious food. We had the sharing buffet with a group so everyone could try everything. Everything was delicious, plus very friendly service and a very nice atmosphere. Gladly again and again.

We wanted to go to a buffet on Sunday evening and chose this restaurant based on Google reviews because it seemed good. When we got there, the equipment to set up a buffet was there, but the containers were all empty. When we asked whether there would be a buffet, we received the rude answer from a very unfriendly lady: "No mass-produced items, only orders at the table". She gave us a small menu from which we could have chosen what we ordered. So “all you can eat” is offered at the table and not a buffet. Which raises the question of why the restaurant advertises a buffet. My companion asked the lady what was for dessert and she said there were bananas and ice cream. He asked if there were any other alternatives and was answered in a very unfriendly tone: "What do you expect for €19.90?" Since we like the ambience of a buffet and the fact that you can choose from the dishes based on their appearance and decide how much you eat and are not tied to what you are served, we decided not to take up the offer . When I wanted to give the card back to the lady, I didn't even have the opportunity to say anything to her. She hurled the following sentence at me like a shot from a pistol: "No mass-produced goods! Bye!!" So she really complimented us. I've never experienced anything so customer-unfriendly. I was speechless. At the same time as us, a group of 6 people arrived at the restaurant and stood next to us and listened in on the conversation. This group then also left the restaurant. Addendum: I would like to emphasize that at no time were we rude. We just asked questions about the concept. But they were treated rudely and rudely from the start. Then you no longer really feel like staying and testing the restaurant. We also didn't want to fill our bellies for as little money as possible, as shown here. This is really an outrageous assumption. The point was that the portions that would be served were too large for us and we would have preferred smaller, more varied portions to choose from. But if treating guests like that is your motto, then congratulations and keep it up.

I usually never write reviews, but both the food and service were incredible that I wanted to write it! The owners are super nice and the food is freshly prepared and served. I ate almost everything and everything was very tasty. I went based on a recommendation and will definitely eat there again.

We went there because of the good reviews. It was a bit of a drive because we don't live close by, but we can say it was worth it! Really great taste! Personally, I have never eaten Asian food so well, everything was deliciously prepared, fresh and warm and the service was also great. Other restaurants should also copy the sharing buffet concept. We would love to come back again! The only point of criticism that could be mentioned is that the restaurant is a bit old and the tables and chairs, for example. were probably taken from the pub that was there before.

The food is great, but the selection is far too limited and, worst of all, the owner is far too pushy and always wants her opinion, e.g. B. imposing what you should eat now. We spontaneously ate in the Kaisergarten for the first time on Tuesday. We enjoyed it very much. The service was very nice and the concept of the restaurant also convinced us. Everything was freshly cooked and hot. My husband had beef with vegetables and I had crispy sweet and sour duck. Will definitely come back.

We had dinner in the Kaiser Garden for the second time today. As always, it was a real treat. There is no food on the menu that doesn't taste great. In combination with the family service, we can only recommend this restaurant. But I can't understand some of the comments. Especially when you complain that everything is no longer available shortly before the end of the working day when the operators, who are there for the guests 7 days a week, fly off on their well-deserved vacation the next day. Sometimes you should just think about how you can prepare your vacation yourself. We also empty the fridge as much as possible beforehand so that nothing can go bad. And we don't have any legal requirements like in the catering industry. We will definitely always come back. Thank you for everything.

So my impressions are very mixed. The first time we were here, the sharing table buffet was recommended to us. We had the voucher book with us and it was explained to us that it couldn't be redeemed as it stood. We then went for the table buffet and it was very tasty and good, even if not outstanding. (That's why I rate the food with 4 stars) We then came back here to redeem the second voucher for a free second skin dish. At first they were very friendly and asked us if we would like a sharing table buffet. When I then showed the voucher book, they immediately said there was no more duck or shrimp, only chicken. Because you would be on vacation for 3 weeks starting tomorrow, none of it would have been bought.... (I looked on Google a few days later and the restaurant was still open)... In addition, you would have to reserve with a voucher book and we wouldn't have done that either. Mind you: it was a weekday and there were 2 (!!!) other guests there besides us. If I look at the owner's answers here on Google, I would say that guests with voucher books are not really welcomed. If that's the case, then it's best not to offer vouchers... And if you don't want to offer dishes with duck or prawns for free as a second dish (which I could understand), you should add it to the voucher or the whole thing (like many other restaurants do it) to 15 euros. Then everyone knows where they stand and everyone is happy and satisfied. As I said: food is good, sharing table buffet is a good idea. But I didn't like the experience last time... Sorry! 🥲

Very tasty food, with a very special concept. The landlady is incredibly friendly, helpful and is happy to explain several times how her concept works. Only the ambience is a bit old-fashioned and is more reminiscent of a snack bar than of a restaurant. Something more could be done here. If it's full, you should definitely be prepared to wait, as all the food is made completely fresh and the portions are quite small, even if you can always reorder. If you say you want something more at once, this is also taken into account. We will definitely come back and thank you for the lovely evening!

I had a great time there, the best food, only my friend Vitaliy couldn't tolerate the food because he is a bit overweight (140kg+) but otherwise the food was also the ice cream plus dessert.

We were there for dinner on Mother's Day. I have to say, none of us can share the many positive reviews. It was ok, nothing more and nothing less. Photos wouldn't have been appealing, so I didn't take any at all. We had the “all you can eat” table buffet, which was more like a collection of one dish per person. The service was a bit hectic and somewhat curt, but friendly.

Here I would like to report on our experience. First of all, if you are expecting a pompous Chinese restaurant here, you are in the wrong place. The rooms reflect the old restaurant. Which is absolutely not a negative thing... We were already familiar with the concept of sharing from other restaurants. When we walked in, my wife and I were warmly greeted by the owner. When we looked at the menu, we wanted to leave because it only said meat. We told her we were vegetarians. We were told very politely that it was absolutely no problem. Because the dishes are freshly prepared. She asked us in advance whether we wouldn't eat certain things. Eg egg, garlic, hot. etc. Based on our information, different dishes were brought out little by little and I have to admit... The taste was very, very tasty. Absolutely not to be compared with a buffet restaurant. The food there tastes bad and is often cold. The owner and waitress are very warm and authentic. She doesn't have to pretend. You and your husband (cook) put a lot of heart and soul into it.

We come from Dormagen specifically to eat here. The evenings we spend here are always very nice: friendly service, great food, good conversation - also with the owner. And all of this at a good price-performance ratio. Sharing is simply a good concept. :-) Always happy. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

The starter for 4 men consisted of a normal dinner plate with small things.

For the 2x. Been there once. The food is always freshly prepared. The buffet concept is such that you are always served freshly prepared food at the table between several main dishes and dessert. My wife and I were craving Asian food today and discovered Kaiser Garten while browsing on Google. We were interested in the slightly different buffet concept, which is why we decided to visit. How this buffet works in detail has already been described in detail in another review. But it is modern and sustainable. This keeps food waste to a minimum. Plus you can't get it served fresher prepared. In terms of taste, everything impressed us without exception. We enjoyed our food served hot. The restaurant also seems to be family-run, which is reflected in the friendly service. We'll be back!

At first we were a bit surprised by this type of "buffet", as the food (unlike the traditional buffet) is brought to the table at all times, freshly cooked, in bowls, where it is kept warm on a warmer. So it's more of an "all you can eat" but with the idea that less food is thrown away (bowls that aren't eaten have to be paid for extra). The food itself is sensationally good and authentic in taste. Even small special requests are gladly taken into account. However, the restaurant itself seems quite bland from the inside, which I find a shame. All in all, I can only recommend it 👍🏼😋

I invited my girlfriend to this restaurant to celebrate. The table sharing concept was new to us, but it was easy to understand and we really liked it. Individual dishes are ordered from a menu and, in the style of a buffet, you can reorder as often as you like. This restaurant is run by a married couple, we were served by the wife and cooked for by the husband. The owner gave us a warm welcome and accompanied us through the evening with humor and individual service. The meal started classically with a soup starter that offered plenty of flavor. We were then served finger food with a fruity sauce. From the main courses we could choose a variety of dishes. Every single dish exceeded our expectations. The meat was very tender and pleased us both. Our tip: you shouldn't miss the baked banana with ice cream as dessert. There are also private parking spaces behind the restaurant. All in all a very nice experience and we look forward to the next time.

Das Essen hat wirklich Qualität. Ich komme hier sehr gerne essen. Der Fisch hier ist super. Immer wieder gerne.

Wir waren nun zum 2x im Kaiser Garten und können eigentlich nur positiv berichten. Das Konzept ist gerade für die heutige Zeit in Sachen Nachhaltigkeit hervorragend. Essen soviel man vertragen kann ohne unnötige Mehrproduktion wie bei aufwendigen bekannten Buffets. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut und die Bedienung aussergewöhnlich freundlich. Etwas Zeit sollte man schon mitbringen, da es hier nicht um Fast-Food handelt sondern um frisch zubereitete Lebensmittel. Beim Ambiente könnte man noch etwas verbessern. Persönlich finde ich die Einrichtung absolut ausreichend und ehrlich. Für uns steht aber fest! Wenn wir uns einen schönen Familienabend in einem Chinesischen Restaurant machen möchten, ist der Kaiser Garten unsere erste Wahl. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder;))

Sehr leckeres Essen. Das Essen kostet 17,9€ pro Person. Die Speisen lassen sich dann beliebig oft nach Wunsch kombinieren.

Das Tisch Shareing Menü, ist eine super Idee.Die Möglichkeit die vielfältige Gerichte untereinander zu teilen und dabei alles frisch zubereitet zu bekommen ist Mega. Preis Leistung und der Service sind absolut Top. Der Weg von Niederkrüchten hat sich sowas von gelohnt. Wir werden mit Sicherheit nochmal dort Essen gehen.

Ein tolles System . Man bekommt alles frisch gekocht und alle Speisen sind sehr lecker . Das Restaurant wird von einem kleinen Familienteam betrieben , daher kann es schon mal etwas dauern wenn es voll ist . Aber es lohnt sich . Die Wirtin im Service ist sehr nett und persönlich. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen .

Vorab: Wenn ich nicht vorher einige Kommentare hier auf Google Maps gelesen hätte, wären wir wohl - wie einige andere Kommentatoren auch - ziemlich überrascht gewesen über das Konzept zu Mittag. Auf der Web-Seite des Lokals liest man "Mittagsbuffet Mo-Sa 12,90€ ...", aber damit ist KEIN Selbstbedienungs-Buffet gemeint! Auf der Karte am Tisch steht dann "Sharing Tischbuffet" (ohne Preisangabe). Was ist das? Man bekommt zu einem Festpreis* von 12,9€ (ohne Getränke): - die Wahl zwischen zwei Suppen (Huhn oder Peking) - mehrere frittierte Vorspeisen - beim Hauptgang kann man zwischen Hühner-, Rind-, Schweinefleisch oder vegetarisch, jeweils mit eine Auswahl verschiedener Saucen wählen, kann dann beliebig oft nachbestellen, muss aber 2,5€ zusätzlich für jeden nicht geleerten Teller bezahlen (das Konzept kannte ich schon) - beim Nachtisch kann man zwischen Eis und gebacken Banane wählen. Weiter liest man auf der Karte * knusprige Ente ... Garnelen Die Bedeutung des Sterns muss man erst erfragen und zwar erhöht sich dann der Preis um 5€ auf 17,9€ (wie sonntags mittags und abends). Uns störte es nicht, dass es keine Selbstbedienung gab, aber die Webseite könnte dazu etwas ausführlicher sein, besonders was den Aufschlag betrifft. Die Karte ohne Preise auf dem Tisch finde ich auch nicht korrekt. Alles hat gut geschmeckt und wenn man weiß, was einen erwartet ist, ist das Konzept sehr gut. Ich würde nur empfehlen, dazu einen anderen Namen statt "Sharing Tischbuffet" zu wählen und das Ganze auf der Web-Seite und auf der gedruckten Speisekarte klarer und mit den Preisen zu beschreiben. Ich fand es nicht so gut, dass die Speisen in zu großen Schüsseln serviert wurden und auf den Stövchen rutschten. Sehr positiv: Auf der Web-Seite gibt es einen Button "Angebot einholen". Darüber hatte ich früh morgens angefragt, ob heute zu Mittag geöffnet wäre und innerhalb weniger Minuten eine Antwort bekommen. Man kann auch mit Kreditkarte zahlen, muss dann aber einen Aufschlag von 2€ auf Kauf nehmen. Jedenfalls besser, als einige andere (rückständige) Geschäfte hier in der Gegend, die nur Bares oder nur in Deutschland gültige sogenannte EC-Karte akzeptieren. P.S. Hier auf Google gibt es einige sehr negative Kommentare, die ich alle nicht bestätigen kann. Einige dieser Kommentare benutzen den Begriff "Imbiss" - die Autoren haben sich bestimmt in der Straßenseite geirrt, denn gegenüber gibt es (laut Google) wohl tatsächlich einen "Asian Imbiss".

Ein wirklich etwas anderes Restaurant! Ich war schon echt in vielen chinesischen Restaurants, aber das ist mal ne ganz neue Erfahrung!!!! Es gibt ein Buffet der anderen Art nicht so wie man es kennt. Man wird bedient am Tisch und kann aus mehreren Speisen wählen ,diese werden frisch zubereitet, wenn man mehr möchte, gibst Nachschub. Das System ist sehr außergewöhnlich aber auch interessant. Sehr freundliche nette Bedienung die auch gleichzeitig die Chefin ist ,der Ehemann ist der Koch. Es ist echt eine Erfahrung wert.......

Wir haben unser Hochzeit im Kaiser Garten mit Freunden und Familie gefeiert. Es sind alle zufrieden und sehr gut gesättigt nach Hause gefahren. Das Team vom Kaiser Garten hat unsere Gesellschaft mit rund 40 Leuten, als geschlossene Gesellschaft, super bewirtschaftet. Durch das tolle System hat sich bei jedem eine schöne Familiäre Stimmung breit gemacht. Es ist alles nach unseren Vorstellungen abgelaufen. Nach fast einer Woche Rückblick gucken wir mit einem breiten Grinsen auf die Feier zurück. Ein riesen Lob von uns an das Team. Ihr habt einen großen Teil zu einem unvergesslichen Tag beigetragen.

Eher durch Zufall sind wir in diesem 'Restaurant gelandet. Was soll ich sagen - wir haben eine Perle entdeckt! Es ist ein wenig anders. Es gibt kein Buffet, wo wir uns selber holen konnten - es gibt dort ein Tischbuffet. Wir suchten uns zuerst eine Suppe aus. Sie kam frisch gekocht aus der Küche zu uns an den Tisch - sehr lecker. Danach gab es 3 verschiedene Sorten kleiner gebackener Snacks, ebenfalls frisch und ebenfalls lecker. Für den Hautgang konnte sich jeder von uns - wir waren 4 Personen - entscheiden zwischen Geflügel, Schwein, Rind oder Fisch.Auch von den vorhandenen Soßen konnte sich jeder entscheiden, welche Soße er haben möchte. Als Beilagen waren Nudeln, Reis, gebratener Reis und Krautsalat im Angebot. So konnte jeder von und sich sein Lieblingsessen zusammen stellen. Dieses wurde in Schüsseln auf 2 Stävchen serviert. Genauso frisch uns traumhaft lecker! Jeder konnte sich noch was bringen lassen - mir war die eine Portion völlig ausreichend. Als Nachtisch hatten wir noch Eis mit gebackener Banane. Danach waren wir pappensatt. Der Koch versteht sein Handwerk excellent. Alles war sehr lecker! Die Frau vom Koch - also die Inhaber - war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend! Die Idee mit dem Tischbuffet finde ich sehr gut. So muss nicht unnötig schon gegarte Ware weg geworfen werden. Diese Perle werden wir sicherlich noch öfter besuchen!

Klein aber fein, sehr gut für einen ruhigen Abend geeignet. Die Auswahl an Essen am Buffet ist nicht so groß wie bei Anderen aber dafür ist alles immer sehr frisch, knusprig und geschmackvoll. Sehr nette Besitzer, wir kommen gerne wieder (2 Personen Buffet je ein Getränk 30,60€). Update nach meiner Rezension vor 4 Jahren (siehe oben): Immer noch sehr sehr lecker !

Bei meinem ersten Besuch in diesem asiatischen Restaurant wurde ich wirklich positiv überrascht. Das Essen war nicht nur super lecker, man spürte direkt, wie frisch und qualitativ es zubereitet wurde. Die Vorspeisenplatte war ein echtes Highlight. Das Konzept des Sharing-Buffets, bei dem man sich nach Lust und Laune von der Karte bedient und die frisch zubereiteten Gerichte direkt an den Tisch geliefert bekommt, hat total überzeugt. Man kann essen, so viel man möchte, und das in der Runde teilen. Der Service setzte dem Abend noch das Sahnehäubchen auf: total locker und dabei super aufmerksam. Keine Frage, ich komme definitiv wieder und kann dieses Restaurant absolut weiterempfehlen!

Wir waren heute Mittag zum Geburtstag meiner Frau hier und sind total begeistert vom Essen, vom Service wie auch vom Konzept, sehr nachhaltig, alles frisch zubereitet, geschmacklich 1A, alle Speisen nahezu ohne Gelatine, wir kommen sehr sehr gerne wieder und werden es definitiv weiterempfehlen😊 Alles wurde nach unseren Wünschen zur vollsten Zufriedenheit erfüllt! Hebt sich deutlich durch Qualität und nicht durch Quantität von anderen Restaurants ab!

Kleines, nicht typisch chinesisch anmutendes, Restaurant mit sehr leckeren Speisen und einer netten Bedienung. serviert wird das Konzept "Sharing Buffet". Es wird Suppe nach Wahl, kleine Vorspeise, Hauptgang nach Wahl ( Huhn,Rind,Schwein) und Nachspeise je nach Wunsch am Tisch serviert. Nachbestellung bis man satt ist. Ich fand die Idee sehr gut. Wir kommen wieder.
