Kai Maison in Berlin

I ate here with my mother, and it was delicious. We had edamame, tofu with vegetable stir-fry, asparagus with sweet potato mash, and dessert to finish. The food came quickly, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant, both inside and outside. My only minor criticism: the dessert was quite small for the price. Overall, though, it's a very good restaurant that we'd happily return to.

The food was truly exceptionally delicious. The prices were a bit on the higher side. The cocktails were delicious, perhaps a bit smaller than usual 😉 Highly recommended!

Really mega delicious Asian fusion cuisine!

Unfortunately, we waited a full 2.5 hours for our food. The service was inattentive, and unless you're sitting at one of the "influencer tables" and ordering by the bottle, you feel practically invisible. It was also very loud; the music was unnecessarily turned up as the evening progressed, and anyone sitting in the aisle was constantly bumped into by waiters. On the positive side, the delicious, freshly prepared food and the beautifully decorated interior are worth mentioning. Those with a lot of patience and who come primarily for the food will enjoy this experience. However, there's still a lot of room for improvement in terms of service and everything else.

Overpriced, overcooked bland slop for tourists, yuppies in fashion or tech who have never eaten proper Asian food. Service was very kind. The proliferation of this food culture in Berlin is depressing. Will not return.

Nice place, but the food leaves a lot to be desired... you have to order side dishes for each dish. The price is quite high for the quality. I ordered the duck, and it came dry... The service was okay, they seemed a bit uncomfortable. The drinks were good.

We went there with my partner on a very calm week day, lunch time. First the waiter argued with us about where we "should" sit. After a short discussion he got upset because he couldn't convince us and delegated us to his another collegue. Portions are small, visually nice but not very tasty. I think that the dishes are overly expensive and the place is overrated. I can not believe how they have 4.6 rating. In case they request Google to delete our review, I will share our transaction details.

A cool atmosphere with delicious food and drinks. However, the value for money wasn't right for me. The portions were quite small and relatively expensive. The service wasn't ideal for us, as we were asked almost insistently at the beginning whether we wanted to order food, even though we repeatedly stated that we hadn't decided yet and would let us know when we wanted to order. Additionally, the tables outside were very close together, and the waiters kept walking so close between us that I had to make room several times.

My partner and I had a nice experience dining in Kai Maison overall, and the food was very tasty. However, we found the portions, especially the appetisers, to be quite small for the price. The mango panna cotta was a highlight, and the gyozas were also excellent. Unfortunately, the bottle of Sauvignon Blanc we ordered tasted quite cheap, which was a bit disappointing. We also found the service to be a little chaotic at times, though staff were friendly. Overall, while the food was good, we felt it was slightly overpriced for the portion sizes and the overall experience.

We visited Kai Maison on a Sunday afternoon after discovering the café on Instagram. Despite the time (around 1 p.m.), it was pleasantly quiet—perfect for a relaxed visit with friends. We didn't eat anything hot or savory, just had coffee and tried the dessert. And it was worth it: the crème brûlée was definitely one of the best I've ever had in Berlin. The café is very clean, stylishly decorated, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I would definitely like to return again—for dinner next time.

My mom said she would pay for me and my girlfriend to eat one meal in Berlin and we are so glad it was this place. Not only is it reasonably priced (your welcome mom) with good portion sizes, but everything we had was extremely tasty and fresh. The tuna dish with blood orange and the duck l’orange were top tier. No notes.

The food was incredible. The Japanese / French fusion is an amazing idea that translated so well across each dish. The only feedback is that they brought out all of the dishes out at once. I wish they would have brought out the dishes in segments. It was too overwhelming to eat everything at once and some of the hot dishes were cold by the time we got to them.

There was no allergene list available, which made the choice of food difficult for us. The waitress obviously did not know what allergenes were in which food, but after we insisted she did offer solutions and checked with the kitchen. Adding an allergene list would go a long way for people with food intolerances 🙏 Great location, the food was good but portions were small so it felt overpriced. While paying the waiter told us he didn't like that he needed to speak English to clients... while we were speaking in English. Message received, won't come back.

It was our first time there, and I have to say it's a great place. A waiter named Nam served us, and we were served very well from start to finish. He was super nice and very attentive... At times we had the feeling he wanted something from our friend. But he was probably just being nice. Regardless, we were satisfied and can recommend the waiter... and the place. ❤️

A very nice place! We were there with family, and we noticed that the service wasn't particularly friendly (they always looked angry and didn't even smile). The ducking orange was quite tasty! But unfortunately, the potato (fried potato) was only half-cooked. You can always improve things by looking at how the staff are doing. I understand that there are bad days, for example, but it couldn't be that everyone is a server, right? I also want to thank you very much for the drinks! The man at the bar was really nice, though, and he was able to strike up a conversation with us customers! :)

Overall, I have to say that it was a very good visit to your store. However, I would like to share my criticism that our Aperol Spritz had far too many ice cubes, and it tasted more like tap water than the actual drink I ordered for eight euros. The Aperol was also a maximum of 0.2 liters. Overall, I would simply recommend that you lower your prices a bit, as you have a great store, so that people can visit more regularly.

This restaurant was a pleasant surpise in terms of menu variety and taste. The portion sizes were great for the entrées , though I would recommend ordering a side of rice to go with it, just to round it out. It was a bit slow when it came to be seated as the hostess wasn't so connected with the servers working their section.
