High prices don't necessarily indicate high-quality food. The broccoli in my casserole was almost cold and the potatoes were more than "al dente"...! And the fried potatoes were poorly seasoned. (Bacon costs extra!?) Well, learned something new. 😒

The seating is very pleasant, both inside and outside. The service was friendly and quick. The food isn't cheap, but it's high quality and very tasty, with a wide selection. We had a crouton and a potato and broccoli casserole.

Beautiful location in the historic half-timbered setting on Gräfrath's market square. Exceptionally friendly and very accommodating service. Excellent advice on the selection of truly delicious dishes, which were presented very attractively. We had a vegetarian stir-fry and fried spaghetti with shrimp. For starters, we were just as impressed with the vegan pumpkin cream soup as the firm salmon and the aioli bread. We were so impressed that we also had dessert. Full marks for this, too. Simply delicious. We'd love to come back. We felt truly at home. Thanks, Doreen, to the kitchen team, and the head chef, who knows his craft.

Outrageous prices. Mineral water served without a bottle, simply in a glass.

Nice atmosphere. The only drawback is perhaps that they don't serve fries as a filling side dish, but everything else is delicious. I'd gladly go back.

I've known this place for years, and it has a kind of monopoly on the beautiful market square. Unfortunately, the staff know this, and the service is increasingly unfriendly. As if you, as a guest, were a nuisance. The food is absolutely fine, and the ambiance is nice. But after my last visit, I'd rather spend my money elsewhere.

The coffee was delicious, including decaf. The restrooms were remarkably clean, with self-cleaning seats. A good experience!

We were very disappointed with our visit to this café. The service left a lot to be desired – we had to wait a very long time for a server. The desserts were unfortunately not at all convincing, and the drinks tasted like cheap coffee – definitely not up to the standard you'd expect. When we asked for a specific dessert, the waitress said she wasn't sure if it was available and would check. Unfortunately, she never came back to inform us. We had to ask several times before someone finally came – and then we were simply told that the dessert wasn't available. Very disappointing. We also had to wait forever to pay. Overall, a very unpleasant experience – we certainly won't be coming back.

This isn't just a café... they also offer a variety of salads, burgers, and antipasti. We enjoyed the waffles with strawberry salad and ice cream. Everything else on our plates looked very appetizing. We were able to listen to live music on the terrace on Saturday afternoon and watch the hustle and bustle on the surrounding streets. An all-around successful afternoon.

A rustic coffee house in Solingen's Gräfrath district with an outdoor area. A wide selection of food and drinks. The interior can be quite noisy when busy. Very friendly, unobtrusive service.

Fresh flowers and (lit!) candles on the table, a wonderfully creative breakfast selection: We had scrambled eggs with feta and tomato, and whole-grain bread. The portions were generous, delicious, and fresh. The butter and cake with our coffee weren't prepackaged, which was very good! The attentive service brought salt and pepper grinders without us having to ask. Highly recommended 💛

Yesterday we went to the coffee house after the market festival. It was very full, which is understandable given the event and we also understood that the staff were very busy. Unfortunately, something happened that spoiled our stay: a service person accidentally knocked over our glasses... of course something like that can happen. But we were completely covered in the drink: our pants, shoes, jackets, bags and even our cell phones were wet. But what really disappointed us was how the situation was handled. There was no offer to help and it was only when we asked that a rag was even brought to us. We were told in an unfriendly and completely inappropriate tone that we were "sitting in the way" - at a normal table that had been placed exactly there by the staff themselves. A mishap can always happen, but how you deal with it afterwards makes all the difference. And unfortunately he was disrespectful and unprofessional.

Wat een leuke locatie. Aan mooi oud plein gelegen. Keurige nette bediening. Parkeren kan moeilijk zijn. Eten goed maar niet echt bijzonder. Denk dat gepaneerde visfilet gewoon uit diepvries verpakking komt. Ook de pasta niet echt bijzonder. Maar de locatie en ambiance maakt veel goed.

A beautiful place with charming interior, every booth and seating area is different from the other. The food is delicious, there is something for every taste and diet. And the staff is friendly and polite. There is also a terrace at the front so you can sit outside and enjoy good food and hopefully good weather.

I had a nice evening at Restaurant. Unfortunately, the background noise bothered me a bit because there were only two of us eating, but at times we almost didn't understand each other at all.

The taste is okay, but nothing special either. As I said, after previous disappointment, we wanted to try again, but unfortunately it wasn't satisfactory. Too bad.

We were there for dinner with 6 people. It was very disappointing because out of 6 meals, 3 were cold. The quality also deteriorated significantly and the service was very overwhelmed. We won't go there to eat anymore.

Service on the terrace was a disaster! We returned there thirsty after a hike and were lucky to find a spot on the terrace. Although the terrace was well attended and we showed a lot of patience, the waitress did not manage to provide us with two drinks within 60 minutes, despite repeated requests. Thanks for nothing.

The food was good. Unfortunately, we were unlucky with a very inexperienced/nervous waitress who had a few mishaps (including a broken bottle and red wine on the guest). Of course that is not the rule. Recommended under normal circumstances.
