wir bestellten 2x mal gyros und es war sehr sehr sehr lecker! ich bestellte noch glutenfreies brot statt dem pita was sie jedoch gerade nicht hatten. ich bekam stattdessen kartoffeln, welche die besten waren die ich jemals gegessen habe.zusätzlich toller, netter service!

War neulich das erste Mal da. Der Service ist super nett und sehr aufmerksam, aber nicht aufdringlich. Das Essen war für mich und meinen Freund eine 10/10. Ganz klare Empfehlung für das Mac'n Tschees!!! Möchte unbedingt wieder kommen und kann es jedem nur ans Herz legen. Auch für nicht Veganer, weils einfach lecker is und dazu noch ohne schlechtes Gewissen. 🥰🫶🏻

Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und hatten einen tollen Abend :) Die Beratung, welche Speisen glutenfrei sind war sehr gut und eins der Gerichte konnte problemlos entsprechend angepasst werden. Würden wir in Regensburg wohnen, würden wir noch ganz oft wiederkommen. Besonders die Vorspeisen in den kleinen Gläschen haben es uns angetan!

Das beste Restaurant in Regensburg. Und dann auch noch vegan/veggie! Perfekt. Die Mitarbeiter sind super lieb, die Stimmung im Restaurant ist auch mega gemütlich. Das Essen ist total lecker und man schmeckt die Qualität wirklich raus. Es wird auch auf gesunde Optionen geachtet, z. B. Gibt es eine heiße Schokolade, die man nach Belieben selbst süßen kann. Mein Highlight: einmal bekamen wir gegen Ende der Öffnungszeiten die übrig gebliebenen Windbeutel rausgebacken, diese wurden dann kostenlos an den Tischen verteilt. Kurz gesagt: hier ist der Kunde wirklich noch König und nicht wie bei der Großzahl der anderen Restaurants schier ein Geldgeber!

Unglaublich leckeres Essen, das wirklich mit ganz viel Liebe gemacht wird. Wir waren jetzt schon zwei Mal da und hatten beide Male das Cordon Bleu und das Soja-Gyros und beides war wirklich fantastisch! Der Service ist total freundlich und man fühlt sich einfach wohl. Wir kommen definitiv noch öfter vorbei!

Das Essen ist wirklich super gut. Besonders gut fand ich das Cordon bleuff und das Gyros. Ich liebe sowieso vegane Restaurants, immer her damit !! Tolles Konzept und super verschiedene Speisen.

Man wird von einem sehr freundlichen Personal empfangen.Das nette Lokal ist sehr sauber, die Toiletten wurden erneuert! Man sieht und schmeckt, dass die ausschließlich veganen Speisen, Desserts und Kuchen mit viel Liebe zum Essen mit frischen Produkten und Zutaten hausgemacht zubereitet werden. Schmeckt wirklich alles super lecker! Obwohl das Lokal voll war, flotter aufmerksamer Service und das Essen kam schnell an den Tisch. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne, sehr empfehlenswert!

Ganz tolles kleines Restaurant. Die eingelegten Zwiebeln zum VurstSalat sind soooo gut. Und der Zitronen-Mohn-Kuchen ist einfach klasse

In dem gemütlichen Restaurant waren wir zum ersten aber ganz sicher nicht zum letzten Mal! Bedient wurden wir sehr zuvorkommend und mein Hund war auch willkommen. Er hat sogar als erstes eine Schüssel Wasser bekommen. Wir konnten uns bei der guten Auswahl kaum entscheiden. Es gab eine Spargelkarte, verschiedene Aufstriche im Glas, Pasta, Schnitzel mit Kartoffelsalat und verschiedene leckere Nachspeisen. Die Beschreibung „Irgendwas zwischen Restaurant und Cafe“ passt sehr gut. Wir wurden sehr gut und herzlich beraten. Meine Begleiterin hat sich für Bärlauchknödel mit Spargelsalat und Zitronenmajonaise entschieden und ich für ein Gläschen Vitello Tonnato mit Brot. Beides war sehr köstlich! Als Dessert gab es eine leckere Dattel-Kokos Creme und einen perfekten Cup Cake. Das Lokal ist für alle Fans von gutem Essen!

Wir waren heute ganz spontan als Zwischenstop auf unserem Nachhauseweg in Regensburg und haben hier ein spätes Mittagessen genossen. Das Essen und auch die Auswahl war super, es hat uns alles richtig gut geschmeckt und auch die Menschen hier (sowohl Service als auch Gäst:innen) waren super nett. Regensburg hat uns so gut gefallen, wir kommen auf jeden Fall nochmal wieder und werden safe wieder hier essen ❤️

Sehr gute Vegane Küche. Die Bärlauch Knödel und der Spargelauflauf waren lecker. Service und Preise auch gut. Ich werde wiederkommen.

Kuscheliges kleines Lokal, mega nettes Personal, wollte mal vegane Erfahrung sammeln, Salat toll, veganes Schnitzel OK (wobei das von einem veganen Neuling nichts heißen muss - erprobte Veganer würden wahrscheinlich TOP sagen) Alles in Allem würde ich es empfehlen und auch wieder besuchen!

Das Essen war super lecker und für ein Veganes Restaurant waren die Preise wirklich niedrig. Die Portionen haben auch eine super Größe. Ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen.

Die Reservierung im Vorfeld hat unkompliziert funktioniert. Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 9 Personen dort zum Mittagessen an Ostern. Das Essen war sehr lecker und hübsch präsentiert - jeder von uns war mehr als zufrieden und satt. Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Der Aperitif war toll und der Nachtisch sowie die cup cakes haben mega geschmeckt. Vielen Dank für den tollen Nachmittag! Wir können es allen wärmstens empfehlen. Bis zum nächsten Mal - wir kommen gerne wieder!

Zur goldenen Kaper kann ich absolut empfehlen! Anja und Sven sind super nette Gastgeber und das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Im Sommer draußen zu sitzen stelle ich mir toll vor. Ich hatte einen Lupinen Cappuccino (auf Empfehlung, die ich gerne angeommen habe) und Zitronenkuchen. Beides sehr lecker. Es gibt süße und herzhafte Speisen, diverse Heiß- und Kaltgetränke. Hier wird jeder fündig. Und vegan ist es on top auch noch!

Wir waren zum Mittagessen hier und waren rundum zufrieden. Das Lokal selbst, ist stilvoll eingerichtet und wirkt einladend und sehr gepflegt. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Wir hatten Vor-, Haupt- und Nachspeisen und alles war zügig am Tisch und richtig lecker. Sogar meine Tochter, welche für die vegane Küche in der Regel weniger übrig hat, hat diesmal richtig reingehauen 😅 Besonders lecker waren die veganen "Käse"Makkaroni und der Apfel Kuchen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Mac N' Tscheese sind empfehlenswert, vor allem durch die Röstzwiebeln und Jalapeneos. Der Kaffee in der goldenen Kaper mundet auch sehr gut. Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend, man fühlt sich wohl.

Wir waren abends als Paar dort essen und hatten eine rundum tolle Erfahrung. Wir haben eine sehr leckere Kartoffel-Kürbis-Ingwer-Suppe bestellt, wunderbar cremig und wärmend. Als Hauptgerichte hatten wir ein veganes Schnitzel und ein Gordon Bluff, beide geschmacklich hervorragend und überzeugend in der Textur. Dazu kamen Getränke und Desserts – alles war wirklich sehr gut und liebevoll zubereitet. Man merkt, dass hier mit Qualität und Leidenschaft gekocht wird. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich und einladend, ideal für ein entspanntes Abendessen. Der Service war schnell, aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Die Bedienung war sympathisch und herzlich, was den Abend noch schöner gemacht hat. Ein veganes Restaurant, das man absolut weiterempfehlen kann. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

War sehr gespannt weil alle sagten: da musst du hin! Und was soll ich sagen? DA MÜSST IHR HIN!!! Angefangen beim Service: ein Traum! So cool und freundlich, da bleibt man gerne! Die Küche: Wahnsinn! Wir sind jetzt Fans! Waren 6 Personen mit diversen Vor- und Hauptspeisen und keiner war enttäuscht! Ganz im Gegenteil! Es musste (trotz eigentlichem Platzmangel weil wir ja eigentlich satt waren) noch was Süßes sein. Wir haben viel probiert und kamen zu dem Entschluss: Das war definitiv nicht das letzte Mal ❤️

Gemütliches Lokal mit freundlichem und zuvorkommendem Service. Der Kaffee war hervorragend, die Kürbissuppe und die Kürbisgnocchi köstlich. Sehr empfehlenswert!

The schnitzel is solid and highly recommended. Unfortunately, I miss the old Dada restaurant a lot. Not because they had vegetarian dishes, but because the menu has changed fundamentally. It's nice that the dishes are healthier, but a (vegan) burger is a great treat every now and then. Great restaurant, but the old Dada restaurant is missing.

An extremely positive experience: friendly staff, delicious and satisfying food, and reasonable prices. From now on, Dada will be our go-to place for lunch or dinner in Regensburg.

We went there for dinner on a day before a national Holiday without a reservation. Got seated immediately. For starters we got a pumpkin-ginger-carrot soup and hummus with bread. Everything was served super fast and was delicious. As a main dish we got the Mac and cheese as well as the gyros with tzaziki. Everything was again brought very fast, big portions and delicious taste. The waiter is very nice and attentive, and very effective. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. Clean and cool bathrooms, definitely recommend!!!

Since the new owners took over Dada, I've been going here regularly. So far, every dish has been a flavor explosion! My absolute highlights are the Kaspressknödel and the vegan gyro. Next time, I'll try the schnitzel. I highly recommend this vegan restaurant to EVERYONE. A great place from start to finish, with friendly service and a fantastic selection of specials. I'm really sad about the "new" restaurant since the new takeover 😭 The portions are much, much smaller (I'm a small person and still didn't get full 🥺) and much more expensive than before. (More expensive per se wouldn't be a bad thing, but what you get for that is unfortunately not good enough.) Unfortunately, everything has changed in terms of taste and is no longer as good as before (the Cordon Bleu was my absolute favorite and I was looking forward to it so much 🥺 and the soy gyro was way too salty). The new potato salad that came with it was delicious, but the portion was just way too small. The new "upgrade" option is also a joke... way too expensive for a small bowl and it still doesn't fill you up. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, but unfortunately, that doesn't make up for it anymore. Café Dada was my absolute favorite restaurant in Regensburg, and if I ate in Regensburg, it was here! Always with visitors or friends. Unfortunately, that won't be the case in the future—what a shame! 🥺😭

I'm a meat lover, was there with a friend because the restaurant of our choice was closed. Never had such a delicious vegetarian/vegan "Wurstsalat"

Just a terrific German vegan experience. I was wanting a Schnitzel since I arrived, and this was the first chance I had as a vegan. The “Cordon Bluff” special Schnitzel did not disappoint! Crunchy, chewy, creamy, and smoky, just a great bite. The German potato salad on the side was a great acid balance to the dish. My non-vegan son had the Mac & Cheese and it was HUGE with a smoky flavor and really perfect al dente pasta, along with bread crumbs for texture and jalapeños for acid/spice. We even tried the German addition of (vegan) Worcestershire sauce and it was delightful! Atmosphere is basic little cafe, but that’s not why you’d go. I’m on an all inclusive tour, but so glad I ditched lunch and went here instead!

Boy, boy! We started with a glass party. Every glass was a hit. The favorite was the WuSa ❤️ For the main course, we shared mac 'n' cheese and a Cordon Bluff. We also had a Kaspressknödl (cheese dumpling). Everything was delicious, but I really loved the dumpling. The service and drinks were equally excellent. I'm really full, but maybe I'll try the cake soon :)))

A fantastic restaurant! The new owners are incredibly nice, as are all the service staff. The food tastes amazing. If I could cook like that, I'd become vegan too! Fast service, great service, clean, and beautifully decorated. I'll be back every time I'm in Regensburg!

First of all: I was a regular at the "old" Dada for years and ate more there than was perhaps good for me. As an Austrian, I'm naturally skeptical of change, but I wanted to give the new Dada a chance. First, perhaps the most unexpected, but positive, innovation: The previously filthy restrooms have been redesigned and are now a true haven. The restaurant itself is also somehow brighter now. And another plus: card payments are now accepted! The kitchen no longer has a deep fryer, meaning there are no more French fries – that's a statement! I can live with that, though. The other dishes (vegan schnitzel, etc.) also seem less fatty, but sometimes a bit dry. In general, it's somehow "healthier" now. Unfortunately (!!!) they no longer serve burgers, their signature dish! It's as if the Schweizerhaus in Vienna stopped serving Stelzen (pork knuckle). It seems to be understaffed at the moment, and the opening and kitchen hours are sometimes a bit confusing, but that could change! The old Dada wasn't 100% vegan, but they did at least offer amenities like cow's milk or cheese upon request, which, of course, suited me as a vegetarian. Now they're going completely vegan, so be it. Generally, I always think to myself in the vegan scene that it's a great blessing that alcohol and cigarettes are vegan. Whatever. Conclusion: There's potential, but the sometimes overly radical changes risk losing former regulars. But I get the impression that this is something they're willing to accept.

Unfortunately, it's not the same anymore... We used to love going there. Now I'm disappointed by the "modernization" – they no longer serve fries. When I pointed this out, the waiter was very rude with his response. The portions are also much smaller, but significantly more expensive. The overpriced non-alcoholic Aperol also tasted bad. We won't be coming back.

Yesterday, our team (5 guests) and I went to dada for lunch. It was fantastic! We had a selection of spreads with good bread in the middle. This was followed by three salads with schnitzel and cordon bluff 😋... Then there was a dessert selection in the middle of the table. The dishes were very good and confidently seasoned. The salad selection was fresh and creative. The schnitzels were golden brown and crispy. None of us are vegans... But such honest and well-cooked food simply makes you happy. Thank you, we'll be happy to come back.

The best selection of Spezi in town. Five different varieties! Oh yes, the service is friendly and the food is good too. Recommendation: vitello tonnato (or something similar).

Simply fantastic! The food at Dada was amazing – super delicious and lovingly prepared. Unfortunately, I forgot to photograph the other dishes. The service was extremely friendly and the atmosphere was perfect. It's a shame we don't live in Regensburg anymore – otherwise we would definitely be here more often!

Super cute café! The apple chai cake was soft and extremely delicious, and the coffee was very good. The service was also great, and they even brought me a small piece of the other cake to try! I also got the cheese pretzel, which was also very good. Definitely worth a visit.

From an institution to the next run-of-the-mill restaurant trying to make a business with "vegan." Overpriced and not even that special. Anyone can make the cheese-topped pretzels better at home. A sliced ​​apple on the menu... they should have simply changed the name to signal the official end of the "kaffe Dada" era.

We ate just from the lunch menu and it was great. A lot of asparagus. I can't speak for the dinner menu, but the waitress knew about gluten free and the kitchen was able to do a gluten free version. Nice, would go back again.

The meal presented was unfortunately not cooked to perfection. The potatoes retained a firm texture, and the asparagus seemed underdone. We regret not bringing this to the server's attention during the meal. A perfectly prepared dish enhances the dining experience. We hope for a better culinary outcome next time.

Food was super tasty, large selection too. But unfortunately the meal took far too long. It said 30 minutes. After the specified time I came back and wanted to pick up my food. Then they said it would take a SHORT time. But I wasn't told that I had to wait another 25 minutes. Eat for 1. I was graciously offered tap water. - As a good host you usually ask if you would like something to drink and give the guest a choice. When my food was ready after a total of 55 minutes, the service person said a very listless: “sorry it took a long time.” The service staff just played around with the music, rolled their cigarettes in the counter area where the drinks were prepared and were not really present with the guests. It's a shame for such a young shop.

The dishes exceed all expectations. We ate at dada every evening. The vegan schnitzel, the cordon bluff, is so delicious!

Top food. The dumplings (whether from the daily menu or not) are always recommended. Pro tip: The outdoor seating is already lunchtime in March 🌞 We'll be back. Still relatively bare walls. But I've heard that there's still art to come. I am excited

By pure coincidence... or it should be that way... we ended up here hungry after a long drive on the highway. The cheese dumplings with salad were delicious, the asparagus with the new potatoes was super tasty; the service is incredibly charming and on the ball. An absolute insider tip!!! I LOVE THE GLASS PARTY!!! Also highly recommended are all forms of cheese dumplings and the pear chocolate mousse 🤩.

Unfortunately no longer recommended after the renovation. Portions have become significantly smaller and the previously delicious fries have been completely eliminated. Instead, there are now fried rosemary potatoes, which are highly praised by the staff, but in terms of taste they don't live up to the previous praises. If you want to come hungry and leave hungry, the new dada is the right place for you.

Unfortunately, after the change of tenant, not much remained of the original dada. The menu is now quite manageable, fries and burgers are now completely missing. The soy schnitzel with potato salad is not my favorite, but the gyros are really tasty. Plus point for the staff, they were really very friendly. Maybe something new on the menu will be developed in the future? The toilets are very modern and clean, there are even free tampons, but there isn't a single sticker left on the wall. It's a shame somehow. Overall there isn't much charm left. I used to feel like I was going to *the* vegan/vegetarian restaurant in Regensburg, but today it's just *a* vegan/vegetarian restaurant.

Ohohoh, unfortunately something went very wrong in the development of what was then a really great café or restaurant. When I was a student, it was very cozy and uncomplicated with a diverse menu of purely vegetarian and vegan dishes (a unique selling point in Regensburg back then). Yesterday we were there again. We took a seat outside and first of all had to notice that the menu had shrunk significantly (no longer a large selection of delicious-sounding and tasting burgers) - the main thing is that the dishes sound chic and fancy. We were also ignored for 20 minutes, so we left again and enjoyed ourselves in exile. Such a shame!! It used to be such a friendly shop that I remembered well. Everything’s changing and unfortunately not always for the better.

Friendly tip: you should consider healthy way of cooking. Such as roasting or boiling with water instead of frying. Vegeterian meals with oily or fried versions. I had spinach dumplings and beetroot. It was delicious but oily.

A very nice little restaurant with vegan and vegetarian dishes. They offer lunch specials daily in addition to the standard menu. Today we had vegan mac and cheese and a vegan steak with fried potatoes. Both highly recommended! The team is very friendly and attentive, and they have good taste in music. We'll be back every time we visit Regensburg :)

I'm really sad and disappointed about what happened to Café Dada. That was THE vegan restaurant in Regensburg - but unfortunately Dada is no longer anything special. The reopening broke the vegan hearts of me and my entire group of friends. We were all loyal customers and it was our favorite restaurant. Trying the new monthly burger was our monthly ritual. Now we'll probably have to look for another restaurant. Prices have increased slightly while portions have become smaller. The selection is limited, and the burgers and fries – once Café Dada's hallmarks – have simply disappeared. Inside everything seems completely soulless. What happened to the interior and the whole atmosphere? I really hope the burgers come back – or at least a bit more creativity comes into play, both in the menu and in the ambience.

We ate at dada today, four of us plus two small children. The service was very friendly. There were even two high chairs for our kids, which was great. Ate the ceviche, the vitella thonnato and schnitzel with potato salad. Everything went super fast & was very tasty. You can just tell that cooking is done with love ☺️ Finally, we treated ourselves to a piece of marble cake, which was also delicious and super juicy. The atmosphere was relaxed and the new owners are very friendly. Absolutely clear recommendation! 🧡

We were there with four people shortly after the reopening. The menu is very small, which we thought was a shame, no more burgers :( We once had the gyros, which we all found way too salty and unfortunately it was very burnt. The stuffed schnitzel with potato salad, on the other hand, was rather bland. There were only potatoes and onions in the potato salad. We would have wished for even more. More vinegar, more salt, cucumbers, herbs whatever. We all really liked the chocolate mouse with pear! Never eaten something so good. The restaurant is rather simple, a bit cool and uncomfortable. It used to be more pleasant and friendly. Toilets renovated. Looks good, but wasn't necessary. Overall, there is still room for improvement, we are hoping for a larger menu (hopefully with a burger) and will give Dada a second chance. We'll be back in a few weeks!

The name is the only thing that remains of the great restaurant. After a change of management and a renovation, nothing remains of the original ambience. The light is bright, the atmosphere is sterile. Very hard on the eyes and spoils my appetite. Good. Give the new start a chance and look at the map. The fear becomes the black truth on the white, almost blank paper. The offer is now limited to a few dishes. No chilli cheese soy burger with the option for vegan cheese. No perfectly fried fries with ketchup and vegan mayo. In short, a complete change and certainly the right thing for certain people. Unfortunately not for me Unfortunately, I didn't take a photo of the new card because my girlfriend and I ran away disappointed. I mourn the loss of the old Kaffee Dada and still wish the new management much success. If the menu is expanded to include burgers and fries or more dishes in general, I can imagine visiting the restaurant again. Best regards

Dada isn't what it used to be, and that makes me extremely sad. The relaxed atmosphere and the family atmosphere were important to me. Where has all that gone? It used to be a cool, left-wing, green-soiled place. What happened? And where have the fries gone?!?

The best vegan restaurant in Regensburg for over 10 years :) The employees look good, share their cheese with you, are still happy to see you even after 5 years of absence and the Dada Burger is one of the most stable entities in my life. Dada dadat I'm happy to eat anywhere

Very relaxed and cute café/restaurant :) The menu only contains vegetarian and vegan dishes, which are well implemented here. The variation and taste are tasty, but not outstanding. The prices and portion sizes are also really fair for vegan food.
