Super delicious food, friendly service and pleasant atmosphere! 🙂 Always enjoy coming here!!

We came over spontaneously. The restaurant is very small and beautifully and authentically decorated. The ambience is very warm, quiet and cozy. I had the 149 and it was super tasty! Clear recommendation!

I actually order once a week to pick up, I've never received a receipt here, but I was regularly rewarded for it by giving me a bit of a discount when paying in cash. Just picked up food, paid full price, despite paying in cash. I hate capricious prices. Too bad. Although the food is good. This is how you lose customers.

Favorite restaurant. The tastiest meal ever 😭 The fried rice is the best!!! Been here several times and the food has been great every time!!! Nice people, don't get annoyed while eating and respond to your wishes!

Don’t go or order here! Horrible food and no service at all. Sushi salmon was cooked, dumplings have been raw. The restaurant is not cooperative and stated *take 20% discount and order via us next time* - this is no compensation for a very bad dinner, we spent 65€ and could not eat the food, stomach unwell! Delicious pan-Asian dishes. Cozy atmosphere. The dishes are artfully prepared. The photo shows Tako-Yaki and the Kaen Sizzling Temptation Roll. You should definitely reserve a table.

Food was quite ok. But I didn't think it was nice that the waitress asked us to give the table to another couple before we could order dessert and before the reservation time ended.

The soups were a dream, the softshell crabs were excellent. We got a table spontaneously during the week. In general, everything was so great that we wanted to come back a few days later on the weekend with a reservation. Our table was passed on despite a reservation and it wasn't just us. Unfortunately we had to move on quite disappointed 😞

The Kaen restaurant is a great little restaurant with flair for everyone who loves sushi. Of course there are other things to eat too. The service is friendly and the sushi is excellent.

Unfortunately the menu is a bit misleading. The menu said 18 different maki, it sounds like you get very different maki, unfortunately that's not the case. You also only get a small bowl of soy sauce. The meal was okay.

Small shop, but with a wonderful atmosphere and very tasty food! Reservations were easily made online and the service was very friendly. Food was prepared quite quickly and tasted very good. If you're looking for Asian food in Munich, Kaen is definitely recommended!

Unfortunately it was a flop for us. First our reservation was messed up and we had to stand around stupidly in the small restaurant for 5 minutes despite the email confirmation. Then we were allowed to sit at a table for four and were supposed to move when a table for two became available. Not very comfortable either. Positive: 0.4 liters of table water is incredibly cheap at €2.50. The 0.2 liter Maitai at €8 wasn't so good, but it was good. Unfortunately the sushi wasn't that good. Spicy tuna with spring onion was simply rolled in chili powder with the rice and was therefore inedible even though I really like spicy food. The next annoyance comes when paying: a waitress comes and tells us a sum without presenting an invoice. We received it after asking twice. Overall, we didn't find it nice or comfortable to sit there, nor was the food good. There are much better Vietnamese at Rosenheimer Platz and in Haidhausen.

Sushi quality catastrophic! Super unfresh, I couldn't eat it!

It’s a pan-Asian restaurant and they had lots of different types of Asian cuisines on their menu. I ordered Unagi Temaki but the eel hardly had any taste. Their Takoyaki is not made there by themselves and were really small, so was the price of octopus inside, and did not taste authentic at all. It’s something else. I can say the same as their dorayaki. Dorayaki is Japanese sweets and it consists of two small pancake-like patties made from castella wrapped around a filling of sweet azuki bean paste. Their dorayaki contains cinnamon and the pancake was not castella but some oily pancake. Again a completely different dish. To make it worse, one dish had a human hair. We asked them to bring a new one which they did but they told us it was a lemon glass and that the chef has no hair so it cannot be a human hair… well we all know what lemon glass and a hair look like and it was a hair, if not from the chef, then it must have come from other staff. So that was a huge minus. The atmosphere inside is great though, very cosy and warm. The staff are also friendly. It’s just the food quality did not meat the expectation and the fact their dishes have the name that does not belong to those dishes made me feel it’s just not worth coming back here.

Table was reserved for 8:30 p.m. but everything was full. Then 2 people were sent away so that we got a table at 8:50 p.m. The service is bottomless (unprofessional) but quite fast. But wouldn't come back even though the food was very good.

Kleines, schön eingerichtetes Panasia-Restaurant (Sushi dominiert jedoch eindeutig die Karte;)), mit sehr freundlichem Personal und leckeren Speisen zu (für Münchner Verhältnissen) zivilen Preisen. Gut für ein Date oder Viererrunde. Für mehr ist (bis auf eine Nische mit 6-8 Leuten) kein Platz.

Kleiner netter Laden mit angemessenen Preisen.

Nettes kleines panasiatisches Restaurant mit guter Auswahl, harmonisch gewürzten Speisen und einem sehr angenehmen Ambiente. Gerne wieder! Preislich absolut in Ordnung.

Zum 2. mal da gewesen. Und das wird bestimmt auch nicht der letzte Besuch gewesen sein! Essen schmeckt verdammt gut und es ist auch alles so authentisch eingerichtet :) finde es super, dass es ein kleines Restaurant ist. Dadurch sind nicht so viele andere Kunden anwesend und es ist deutlich ruhiger und entspannter.

Belle découverte que ce restaurant asiatique, parenthèse alimentaire aux saucisses et autres plats roboratifs locaux. Jolie (petite) salle décorée avec goût et accueil au top. Les plats sont pleins de saveurs (excellents dim sum, pho aussi) et très bien présentés. Pour les amateurs de sushis, vous serez servis par le choix et le goût. Pour ceux qui ne courent pas après, vous avez le choix d'autres plats, notamment au curry rouge. Tous nos plats ont été goûteux. On recommande !

We picked this restaurant due to good rating. The service was ok and the atmosphere was not bad, but the food…..definitely below the average. We were a bit worried when we saw this small restaurant serves Japanese/Vietnamesische and Thai food at same time. Well…we should trust our intuition. The food is not tasty and overpriced.

Cannot complain about this place. Food was really delicious and they were super nice to accommodate my special food requirements. The restaurant was not crowded which was a blessing given the hot days and the lack of AC. The service was super fast and on point, I can only praise they great work and fantastic food.

Fajna, mała restauracja japońsko- wietnamska niedaleko "Deutsches Museum". Ceny przystępne, jedzenie smaczne..... My wybraliśmy tradycyjną zupę z wieprzowina i wołowiną....

Top tent, heerlijke sushi maar meest benoemenswaardig is de chef soep. Min hemel wat een lekkere bouillon. Als je dan nog een noodle bowl met bijv. Eend besteld en iets van die bouillon erin giet heb je werkelijk 2 heerlijk vietnamese gerechte.

Meine ersten Eindrücke nach dem Betreten des Restaurants: Gemütlich, sauber, schön und stimmig dekoriert, und der Service hat mich auch freundlich und zuvorkommend empfangen. Die Speisekarte bietet eine große Vielfalt verschiedener und auch außergewöhnlicher Gerichte, wirkt andererseits aber auch nicht überladen. Die Vor- und Hauptspeise (15, 158a) schmeckte frisch, das Gemüse war knackig, das Fleisch noch schön hell, die Muscheln (von denen es noch ein paar mehr hätten sein können) schön zart und alles in allem war es wirklich lecker. Die Portionen waren ebenfalls reichlich und man wird definitiv satt. Die bestellten Gerichte wurden ohne lange Wartezeit serviert, die Bedienung war stets nett, nicht aufdringlich, war jedoch gegen Ende hinsichtlich leerem Glas und Teller leider nicht mehr ganz so aufmerksam.

255A Tuna und Lachs Rolls were good and pretty, eight good sized pieces, lots of fish. I would order it again. Chicken Caramel was a bit too salty. Loved the baby corn in it. It is a soy sauce stir fry, not quite what I expected. Would not order this dish here again though given how exciting the other dishes sound. Sakura Tonic with Gin and Yuzu was good. Seat in the row of booths are quite uncomfortable to eat at, table fixed too low and far from bench seating—Avoid sitting there. Friendly service. Good atmosphere. Looking forward to visiting again!

Wir sind beruflich in München und haben einen Vietnamesen gesucht und hiermit gefunden. Es war alles sehr sehr lecker und alle waren sehr nett und höflich. Kleiner toller Laden. Sehr zu empfehlen

I ordered delivery via Lieferando, the food arrived with a 30 min delay. The seafood soup tasted good, but had literally one shrimp, 2 very small pieces of salmon and a tiny scallop… The chicken and beef wok dish was decent and so was the pak choi side, but the sauces in both were excessive and way too salty. Overall fair prices, aside from the soup.

Essen war sehr lecker, Service vor Bestellung auch freundlich und schnell. Leider 1 Stern Abzug, weil trotz wiederholten Erbetens der Rechnung lieber weiter bedient wurde und wir so insgesamt 20 min warten mussten.

Wir wurden leider enttäuscht. Wir hatten als Vorspeise den Mangosalat mit Ente, der wirklich lecker war. Dann folgte jedoch Tintenfisch Basilikum, das weder nach Basilikum noch nach irgendwelchen anderen Gewürzen geschmeckt hat. Das Sushi hatte Supermarktqualität. Es sah hübsch aus.

Fantastisches Sushi 🍣 und auch die Ente war top! Generell war das Essen köstlich! Leider konnten wir aufgrund von Sprachbarrieren (Deutsch/Englisch)nicht wirklich mit der Kellnerin verständigen, sodass es bspw nicht möglich war eine gemischte Sushiplatte zu bestellen. und Munich Mule kam aus der Dose!! das ist ein NO GO!! Da das Essen aber toll war und die Atmosphäre auch top, empfehle ich den Laden gerne weiter.

Ein absoluter Geheimtip. Sehr kleines Restaurant. Authentische Einrichtung. Toller Service. Absolute frische Küche. Preislich top. Völlig unscheinbar von außen. Wir waren richtig begeistert über die Qualität der Speisen.

Das Kaen wirbt mit dem Slogan: asiatisch genießen! und in der Tat ist die Küchenleistung auf der richtigen Spur. Allerdings hat sich keine wirklich professionelle und gastfreundliche Atmosphäre eingestellt, in diesem originell eingerichteten Lokal. Der Ober war weder der deutschen, noch einer anderen uns verständlichen Sprache mächtig, brachte 3x den falschen Wein, schaufelte den halben Eiswürfel Vorrat des Kühlschrnks in ein Glas Tonic Water, und war immer nicht da, wenn man ihn gebraucht hätte. Das ist keine Basis für einen gelungenen Aufenthalt....!! Die Küche dagegen kann punkten: die Crunchy Classic Roll ( 14.-) war ausgezeichnet, ebenso der Lachs in Teryaki (25.-). Das Mais Hähnchen (16.-) dagegen war geschmacklich fad, und von zuviel halbrohem Gemüse umlagert. Der Magen sagt danke...! Das Tegernseer Hell (3,90) kommt - leider - aus der Flasche. Wäre schön, wenn das Kaen sich künftig ambitionierter um die Gäste kümmern würde. Dann wären sicher auch mehr Leute im Lokal, als an jenem Abend.

Das Essen ist sehr Hochwertig und lecker! Das Essen wird sehr schön dekoriert und frisch zubereitet. Der Service ist sehr nett und freundlich. Und in der Raum, ist es sehr gemütlich, mit angenehmer Jazz Musik. Dieses Restaurant wird von mir Persönlich sehr empfohlen! Meine Familie und ich fahren unbedingt wieder hehr! SEHR ZU EMPFEHLEN!
