Very nice evening! Cozy and special ambience with the cherry trees. Friendly, attentive and efficient service. Very tasty food and so beautifully prepared 😊. Everything tasted fresh and very tasty. We'd love to come back!

Apart from sushi and appetizers, there are only two vegetarian dishes available Unfortunately, the food didn't really blow me away...but it was okay What I found most intense was the price for the 0.75l water bottle: €7.20 Wow!! For water... The sushi at the next table didn't look so bad. But I'm not sure if I'll come again. The service was very taciturn

Very nice restaurant with both good sushi and curries or frames. Very, very nice decor, maybe a little too pink for some. Nice service. We had a place next to the kitchen and unfortunately it smelled a bit strong from time to time. The prices are relatively high, but there are definitely cheaper alternatives in the city center with similar offerings but a simpler atmosphere. Everyone has to decide for themselves what is more important to them :) Unfortunately, the mochi ice cream wasn't to my taste, but the coconut balls were even better.

More appearance than reality..!!! Unfortunately, the food is relatively poor and unspectacularly prepared and the sushi all tastes the same. Unfortunately, the waiter wasn't friendly either and didn't even say thank you after paying and our request for a bottle of water was simply forgotten... we then had to wait about 1 hour for 2 people

We enjoyed the food very much. From summer rolls, spring rolls, soup, sushi and various main courses. Everything freshly made.

Authentic restaurant with first-class ambience and service! Bun Bo Nam Bo, water spinach and shrimp were absolutely on point. In our opinion the best place in Munich for Vietnamese food!

Atmosphere and food was ok, but we didn't appreciate the waitress accepting payment and then lecturing us that tipping was customary in the restaurant/city. We had been to many restaurants in different cities in Germany and this was the only one which commented about a tip. We obviously didn't know and couldn't speak the same language as the waitress, but she felt it was necessary to somehow make us aware of it and make us feel bad about it to eventually get a tip from a friend of ours who was there with us. All this after paying a good amount for the meals too.

The food is good but the quality has also deteriorated. Especially the sushi. Unfortunately the service is more than bad. We were there to eat and before paying the bill (with a good tip, of course) we kindly asked for a receipt. In fact, AFTER paying, we were told that it couldn't be issued at the moment and it would take a short moment. After 45 minutes and repeated inquiries you say we will send you the invoice by post. Today (1 week later) I received the poorly scanned invoice via email. Thank you very much for allowing me to print out the receipt after this more than unsuccessful evening because the restaurant also wanted to save on postage. If I were you, I would have invited the guest and excused myself with dessert. You are now making me more work because you want to save on postage. I find that bottomless. I left my address and not even offering your customers a drink after 45 minutes of waiting is just as stupid as your answer, which is not true because I left you my address details and telephone number. Taking a week to send an email also reflects your quality of service.

Real attentive service, never experienced in Munich. After you were called six times, you were never noticed by the service staff, even though they saw you with their eyes. Not recommended.

Such a good place to try rolls! We took 2 portions of 5 specials, and to my surprise, it was enough for 2 people, as the rolls were really big. Separate point for the great serving: it's not only beautiful, but also very tasty. Although the restaurant was quite full, it still felt cosy and not overcrowded or loud. We enjoyed it a lot!

A great restaurant for Japanese/Vietnamese cuisine. My recommendation here are the excellent starters, which are great for sharing. For the main course I can't avoid the Vit Curry (crispy duck in curry). I recommend making a reservation in advance as the restaurant can get very busy at peak times.

Top sushi, nice courteous service

Delicious sushi but a bit overpriced. We also ordered Vegetarian Hisagi which was panko coated fried sushi. Very tasty! The service was a bit slow or I think they forgot our order, it took almost 30 mins for food to arrive after drinks. Everything was fresh, we also enjoyed the toboki. Would visit again.

The food wasn't particularly good for the price. The sushi was very dry and I received a new one but not the same one I had ordered. I still had to pay for everything and that's a disgrace. I would not recommend the store and am very dissatisfied!

The restaurant looks pretty elegant. We ordered seaweed salad with vegetarian and chicken fried sushi as a takeaway. Both were amazing. I would definitely try again.

Seriously disappointed with the overall impression. The good reviews are incomprehensible. Nice ambience but extremely loud. Very bad service because when I order mango salad with crispy fish and only receive an unripe mango cut into strips with dressing and red onions and then ask the waiter if anything is missing, the icing on the cake is to say that unfortunately they forgot to tell me that the fish is no longer included in the salad. The full price of 9.50 was then charged for bland, unripe mango salad without crispy fish. The duck with pak choi and the tofu with lukewarm noodles also didn't taste convincing at all. Duck dry, pak choy hard, tofu almost cold and peanut sauce also bland.

I've been going to the restaurant for 4 years. Unfortunately the last two times we went the food left something to be desired. The quality has dropped a lot. We ordered a curry that had no flavor and only had broth. It really felt like eating a box of curry. The quality of the sushi has also dropped. Ours had more avocado than salmon.

Hi Even though we alerted the waiter two times to the severe nut allergy of one of our party; the mixed appetisers still came with a salad containing peanuts. We had asked to go through dish by dish to understand the content but they still put this on the table without telling/warning. Waiter explained 3 times at the end that the tip was not included in the 400 euro invoice. Had no intention of leaving a tip for a near death experience. That seemed hard for them to understand. On a positive note: the food we could eat tasted nice. PS they also need to invest in AC

Under average to average food, nothing special for 100+€. Quality of the duck was poor, super dry. Basic sushi. Service was kind. Loud street in front of the restaurant. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it, we didn't have a good experience. Overrated in my opinion.

This is my second time going to Javi, I love the food here. The sushi here tastes really fresh, and the atmosphere is really nice. Depending on the starters selected, the quantity can be quite small. The sesame ice cream here is really really good! So are the mochis. With drinks, starters, and main dish, you will barely have space for dessert so if you have a sweet tooth I'd advise not ordering a sweet drink or skipping the starters to make space.

The place is very nice, suitable for a dinner for two. The dishes are average for Asian restaurants in Munich. The cuisine is a fusion between Vietnamese and Japanese. The noodles looked good.

We made a reservation for two on a Saturday evening and went into JaVi with very high expectations. It's probably safe to say that they were vastly exceeded! The ambience is really nice and elegant, even if the individual tables are quite close to each other. The service was so quick that we didn't have empty plates in front of us for 2 minutes, and everyone who served us was extremely friendly and accommodating. I can't say anything more about the food, except that we really enjoyed it. The portion sizes were almost too big for us, especially when it came to the meat, so unfortunately there was some left over. We were immediately offered to pack up the leftovers, but unfortunately we had to decline for organizational reasons. The next time we are in Munich, we will definitely come back!

It was my first time in this restaurant. I liked it very much! Very tasty and fast. It seemed that people go there regularly, there are a lot of regular customers. All tables are occupied, we were very lucky to get in without a reservation. The minus tables are very close to one another. I had a very good time and delicious food. I definitely recommend it. The service is good, without emotion, but quickly and accurately. Thank you!

The food and drinks were delicious, the service was ok. However, what seemed tactless to me was that when paying (having already seen the bill and saying she wanted to pay), the lady asked if I would give a tip. This is the first time I have encountered such a situation and I think it is a bit inappropriate, considering that the tip is voluntary.

Instead of matcha ice cream, a matcha dessert with rice flour, 3. And when paying, instead of the stated 64 euros, he entered 65 euros on the device. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food. If it's full it can take a little longer (especially sushi). In summer the window front can be completely opened. So you don't sit directly on the street but you don't feel like you're inside either. Pho Ga, Pho Bo, Javi spring rolls and also sushi are particularly recommended. The lunch menu is also worth a stop. Also repeats a clear recommendation.

Service was good but the food quality was not. It was too salty, the greens were not fresh and the sauce didn't taste good. The furniture needs some maintenance.

JaVi is a first class restaurant. There are mainly Vietnamese dishes, the Japanese part is mainly covered by sushi. You won't find classics of Japanese cuisine such as takoyaki, okonomiyaki, soufflé pancakes, donburi or similar here. The ambience is very nice and the interior design is very well done. The staff is quick, friendly and very well trained. You don't have to wait 2 minutes for a new drink here. We ordered mixed dumplings and wontons as starters. Both were good. The main course was a sushi platter. This was very nicely prepared and also very tasty. The biggest point of criticism for me is the price. We had an Aperol and two Japanese beers with the dishes listed above. The total bill was 96 euros for two people (without tip). We had a voucher for 50 euros but I still think that's steep. The fried sushi in particular costs €18 per 5 pieces. I think it's overpriced for the quality. The food is really great but I can get equally high quality sushi in Munich for 30% less. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether the service and the ambience are worth this extra charge, for me it would be a no.

JaVi is a great place for fans of Asian cuisine. There are Vietnamese and Japanese dishes (rice, noodle dishes, curries and sushi). We decided on sushi once and were completely satisfied. The other time I had gyozas and a small Pho Bo, both very tasty. The service was quick. The ambience inside is very pleasant thanks to the indirect light. The cherry blossoms in the guest room are an eye-catcher. The tables are large and the benches and chairs are comfortable. All in all, definitely worth a visit.

I have rarely experienced such poor service. Unfriendly as usual, we waited forever for the food and then it came staggered, then the wrong thing for one person, which belonged to another table. Finally, the nice gentleman pointed out to us twice that the already high price did not include a tip. With the poor service, you definitely don't need to leave a tip.

One of the best Asian restaurants for sushi lovers. Everything was very tasty, the restaurant is very nicely and stylishly decorated. A bit busy, especially on weekends, so make sure you make a reservation. We had starter, sushi and main course. Prices are slightly higher, but normal for Munich conditions.
