The food was delicious. The service was quick and friendly.

We booked a table and upon arrival we were told that all reservations had been canceled! What a disgrace!!!!!

Nice place but poorly managed. Rude and disorganized waiters. The waiter tonight wanted to charge me for extra beers, when I had already paid the balance to 1 other waitress. Be careful with the bill. The menu is mediocre. The waiters are rude and smoke. Be careful with the bill.

In the evening, after a visit to the theater, we stopped by the Kachelhaus for a quick bite to eat. The kitchen was open until 10:15 p.m., so we ordered a quick bite to eat. The service was excellent. Even though it was busy, the drinks and food (Flammkuchen and a bowl) arrived quickly. And the food was delicious, although the drinks weren't chilled. That was a bit of a shame, as it was still very warm outside. We'd love to come back. 🙂

We only visited briefly and felt very comfortable. The staff was super friendly despite the large number of guests. The breakfast was very, very good with a fantastic selection. There were fresh flowers everywhere on the tables, which rounded off the whole experience! Keep up the good work. 👍👍

Two of us went there for the breakfast buffet. The price/performance ratio and quality were good—though the selection wasn't huge. Unfortunately, there was chaos surrounding the online reservation, which meant we had to change tables twice, and none of the waiters ever knew what we had already ordered. The organization could be improved—the food was good.

I was there for the breakfast buffet. The selection was incredibly generous, and everything was delicious. The highlight was the scrambled eggs, which you could order with any three toppings. The atmosphere is also really great, and the service was very friendly!

We had a magical evening at the Kachelhaus. As a group, we reserved the group room, which was simply fantastic. It was a lovely space with a cozy atmosphere, and since the door to the restaurant could be closed, it was quiet. The waiter took fantastic care of us, and the food was delicious. We will definitely come back. Thank you so much for everything!

We were there with a larger group and had made a reservation. There was a special menu to speed things up. It worked out great. The homemade lemonades were a big highlight. Awesome 😋 Service was okay, but unfortunately they forgot a dish. It can happen, but it was brought quickly. The staff were super friendly. Unfortunately, the schnitzel was dry; I wouldn't order it again. The other people had nothing to complain about.

I'd give it 0 stars if it were possible. We specifically ordered for 7 p.m. so we could have some food and watch the cup final. We even got there before 7 p.m. and were simply turned away without any explanation. It's unacceptable; now we're left with no food and no chance to watch the game. If we'd at least been told off, they would have found an alternative. Now we're stuck in the city center with absolutely no plan, thank you very much. Never again.

I was pleasantly surprised – the breakfast was really delicious! The selection isn't huge, but it was totally fine. There were vegetables, a few appetizers, eggs, salads, and something sweet for dessert. I really enjoyed it, and I'll definitely come back. The only thing: some tables are right by the entrance, and it was a bit chilly there. But if you know that and dress a little warmer, it's no problem.

Were there for breakfast. There was a good selection of cheese, cold cuts and also vegetarian and vegan alternatives, which surprised Mixh. All in all it was okay to good. The spark just doesn't fly for me in the store.

Striking building that is very comfortably furnished. Unfortunately, due to the arrangement of the tables or "boards", it wasn't really comfortable. The staff is friendly and prompt, the food and drinks are great. I even enjoyed the simple scrambled eggs for breakfast, and if you like something a little more exotic you can also find chebureki later in the day (probably unique in Bielefeld). The drinks menu also boasts many options, including lactose-free milk and grain coffee. Gives a recommendation! 🙂

We were there with 8 people. We only had reservations for 6. Things could be reorganized very flexibly so that we all had enough space. We had different starters and main courses. Everything was very tasty and the vegetarian dishes are particularly recommended. The service is outstanding. We were all very excited. Thanks!

My girlfriend and I had breakfast at the Kachelhaus Bielefeld for the first time today. The breakfast buffet is very good. There is a good selection of food and drinks. The staff is very polite and the prices are good. Highly recommended, which is why I gave it 5 stars

Cool breakfast location with a selected, delicious buffet. The service was extremely good, friendly and on point. And a large group of 20 people can handle it easily and relaxed. Great!

Simply very good from breakfast to evening

The food as well as the service is perfect. Unfortunately, the restaurant is always a bit noisy due to its size and the large number of seats, but that doesn't take away from the taste and the very good service. The only real problem I have is that the cleanliness of the toilets has unfortunately deteriorated compared to previous visits. Broken toilet seats or toilet seats that are too small for the actual toilet and slightly “greasy” walls. Despite everything, a visit to this restaurant is always nice.

Service very quick and friendly. Breakfast buffet with plenty of choice. Scrambled eggs were freshly prepared for us with desired ingredients and brought to the table. Ambiance is rustic and has a unique charm. Prices are completely okay. Sanitary facilities didn't seem so inviting. The restaurant can also be reached on foot from the center car parks in a few minutes (we parked in the Loom and were there in under 10 minutes). I can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience.

We were in the tile house a long time ago. The service was great. The bowl I ate wasn't good, a lot of money for little. It wasn't as described.

A quaint restaurant in the heart of Bielefeld. The food was good, but not exactly cheap. It generally isn't anymore. The service was very "unobtrusive", the tables were not cleaned beforehand, so the ketchup from the guests was still sticking in front of them. I think the restaurant thrives on its uniqueness. It was fine.

We wanted to go out for dinner spontaneously (2 adults and 1 child) and it worked without a reservation. We could choose a table. The service was very nice and helpful. We didn't have to wait long for the food and our request for dessert was taken into account. Always my pleasure.

Food quite ok. The price is also ok. Unfortunately, Geschnacklich would have promised me more from Russian food. However, I am very spoiled by a friend of Russian origin who can cook wonderfully. Unfortunately, the tiled house doesn't come close to their level. But:... Still, super friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere, particularly suitable for larger groups (>15 people each). However, I recommend making a reservation in advance. :)

Great waiters who responded very well to both the younger and older guests. There were 14 of us there, everyone could eat at the same time and everything worked well. The food was good, value for money was right. We give a clear recommendation and will definitely come back! Thanks for the great evening!

Our Christmas party this year was a success. The food tastes good, so does the service and the ambience is interesting. When the house is full, the volume level is quite high.

Dry pelmeni from the supermarket. Prepared without love Far too expensive for little performance - simply not suitable. Better go to the trailer at the B1 hardware store and eat better pelmeni for half the price ;)

Once and never again. I found the atmosphere appealing and went there with my friends. Unfortunately, everything else, apart from the ambience, was just bad. I ordered pelmeni and discovered that they were pelmeni from the supermarket. I don't have to go to the restaurant for that. Absolute no-go in my opinion. But what wasn't worse was the service. The southern-looking man who served us today, December 14th, 2024, was not friendly in my opinion. That wouldn't have mattered if he hadn't done things that were absolutely unacceptable. At one point, without asking us, he simply placed the dirty dishes from the neighboring table in the middle of it while we were eating. What's that supposed to mean?? And while cleaning up our table he put a cup on my phone so it got scratched!!! He didn't say a word about it. Didn't even apologize. I didn't feel welcome at all and I won't go there myself and I certainly won't be able to tell you much about this place. I'm just speechless at how poorly he did his job. Conclusion: I definitely can't recommend this restaurant as long as the service is as bad as I experienced today. Also, I don't feel drawn to a restaurant that serves convenience food from a supermarket at a fairly high price.

Wir waren heute zum Mittagessen im Kachelhaus. Die speziellen Mittagsgerichte gefielen uns nicht, sodass wir a`la carte bestellten. Pelemini und Schnitzel mit Champignonrahmsosse. (21.90) erwartet habe ich bei diesem Preis ein frisch parniertes, gebratenes Schnitzel. Mein Eindruck : es waren 2 kleine, gefrorene Fertigschnitzel, die frittiert wurden. Zu den Pommes, die gut waren, gesellte sich Kräuterquark. Ungewöhnlich aber warum nicht. Ich fragte nach Ketchup, nicht ungewöhnlich zu Pommes. Der Geschmack des Schnitzels war zäh, trocken schlicht, einfach ein Frittenschnitzel. Die Champignonrahmsosse leicht wässrig, der Salat okay jedoch etwas schlapp. Die Pelmeni waren unspektakulär. Als auf der Rechnung noch 80cent für ein wenig Ketchup berechnet wurde, war unser Fazit : viel zu teuer für diese, nett formuliert, Schnellküche! Hätten wir doch auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt gegessen.

Very good breakfast buffet, you could choose the scrambled eggs in advance with certain ingredients (mushrooms, sucuk, etc.). It was pointed out 10 minutes in advance that the buffet would be closing and that we were still "stocking up". Orange juice is included, coffee in any form costs extra, but that's what it's coffee for. A very nice atmosphere, always.

We had breakfast in the Kachelhaus for the first time today. I was impressed by the apparently homemade dips and salads, which is not standard. A good selection of cold cuts, cheese and fish. There was also Mett, which isn't necessarily the case everywhere. Plus delicious rolls, pofertjes, jams, fruit etc. Overall, a selection that justifies the price. Scrambled eggs with various ingredients can be made fresh upon request. The rustic retro furnishings match the building and look cozy. We'll be back

The bottom line is that we didn't feel comfortable in the tiled house. It is difficult to have a conversation at a low volume there, as stressful music is played very loudly in the restaurant. Therefore, people speak very loudly at all tables. Unfortunately, that made the tiled house uncomfortable for us. Overall the food was ok. However, I cannot recommend the tiled burger. I thought the price of the food was too high. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We won't come back.

We were guests at the Kachelhaus twice and were impressed by both visits. The price-performance ratio is fair and the quality of the food is good. The service was friendly and accommodating. Only the (apparently) new employees in the service team could be a little more attentive. ;) All in all, we were very satisfied and will definitely stop by more often.

A super delicious breakfast buffet (highly recommend the Mett 😋). Great ambience and very friendly service. It's a good place to stay, even if you just want to enjoy delicious coffee. We would be happy to come back next time we visit Bielefeld.

We were there with 2 couples. Reservation makes sense in advance. Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m. it was quite crowded there. The menu with a good selection. The food was very tasty, everyone enjoyed it 👍. Gladly again 😃

I didn't find the schnitzel that convincing

Sehr schwaches Frühstücksbüffet. Um 10 Uhr mussten die Brötchen erst noch aus einer Backerei geholt werden. Butter war auch aus. Den angebotenen Aufschnitt und auch den Scheibenkäse würde ich zuhause nicht essen. Der Lachs war klumpenweise auf einem Teller angerichtet.

Really very nice restaurant with friendly, funny staff and very tasty and reasonable prices. The breakfast buffet is prepared with a lot of love, coffee and cake are delicious. The ambience is very pleasant, music is in the background and not intrusive. If necessary, you can also sit outside if the weather is good. The restaurant is located a little away from the main streets and squares in the middle of Bielefeld's old town, so you won't be trampled on.

Delicious. There are dishes that are not available everywhere, which is very positive. Condition very friendly and recommends the dishes. The toilets aren't quite as nice, so one star less for the ambience, but you can overlook that because the rest is otherwise great.
