Kabul Night Restaurant in Berlin

Leider ist das Essen nicht mehr wie vor ca 1 Jahr, wir sind regelmäßig dort essen gegangen, aber plötzlich fehlen wesentliche Zutaten, wie Rosinen im biryani,obwohl es in der Karte steht. Auf Nachfrage wird gesagt, das gehört nicht rein 😂. Bei der Bestellung vor Ort wurden 15€ verlangt, in der Karte stand aber 12€. Aufpassen, ihr werdet abgezockt. Das all-you-can-eat buffet ist absolut gar nicht zu empfehlen!

Djuje kubide ist nicht von dieser welt. Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und geben auch manchmal was aufs Haus. Laden ist sehr schön eingerichtet auch mit traditioneller sitzecke

Als vegetartisch gekennzeichnetes Essen bestellt. Später beim Essen Fleisch drin gefunden.. Es gab dieselben Gerichte mit zusätzlich Fleisch auf der Karte. Verdammt eklig für Vegetarier! Vermutlich werden große Mengen der vegetarisch gekennzeichnete Soßen und Eintöpfe einfach mit Fleisch zusammen geschmorrt statt seperat. Man schmeckt die Fleisch- Aromen auch ohne dass Fleischstücke drin sein müssten, sobald man es weiß. Vegetartisch scheint mir hier eine Täuschung, von Leuten, die es mindestens ab und zu nicht genau nehmen und sich respektlos gegen andere Ernährungsweisen verhalten. Ich werde da nichts mehr essen und als Vegetarier und Veganer wäre meine Empfehlung einen Bogen um diesen Laden zu machen und nichts zu bestellen.

Ich war da und die waren so nett wirklich als würde man bei seiner Familie essen gehen das Essen war sehr lecker ich habe gesehen wie es frisch vom Grill kam das Essen lecker die Mitarbeiter sehr nett und hat mir nicht das Geld abgenommen weil er so Gast freundlich ist ich danke das Kabul Night Team ich werde öfters kommen

Ich bin schon mal in diesem gemütliches Restaurant gewesen. Das Essen war sehr künstlich, und hatte mir sehr gut geschmeckt. Wo man einfach in Rohe essen kann. Ich würde gerne sehr selbstbewusst dieses Restaurant weiterempfehlen.

Die Preise sind absolut fair und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut. Das Restaurant ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und liebevoll dekoriert – man fühlt sich fast wie in Afghanistan oder Persien. Der Service war besonders freundlich und gastfreundlich. Die Kellner kommen regelmäßig zum Tisch, fragen nach, ob alles schmeckt, und geben auch gerne Empfehlungen für neue Gerichte. Ich kann dieses Restaurant wirklich empfehlen und komme gerne wieder!“

Absolut empfehlenswert! Wer authentische afghanische Küche sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir waren heute Abend im Restaurant Kabul und sind restlos begeistert. Von der ersten Sekunde an fühlt man sich durch die herzliche und gastfreundliche Art des Personals willkommen, man merkt richtig, dass hier mit Leidenschaft bewirtet wird.

Das Essen war fantastisch. Als wir ankamen, war das Restaurant leer, deshalb waren wir zunächst skeptisch. Völlig unbegründet, wie sich herausstellte. Es war wirklich köstlich! Auch vegane Gerichte gab es in Hülle und Fülle, klar gekennzeichnet und sehr schmackhaft. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Durch die neue Dekoration und die neu gestaltete Bar ist das Restaurant viel schöner und moderner geworden. Alles wirkt sehr stilvoll und harmonisch – man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Jetzt hat man dort einen richtig ruhigen und angenehmen Ort zum Essen. Die Stimmung ist entspannt und lädt dazu ein, den Abend in Ruhe zu genießen. Das Essen war wirklich sehr, sehr gut – professionell zubereitet, schön angerichtet und richtig lecker. Besonders wichtig: Die Zutaten sind frisch, und das schmeckt man sofort. Man merkt, dass hier mit Qualität, Sorgfalt und frischen Produkten gearbeitet wird. Auch der Service war sehr nett, aufmerksam und freundlich. Man wurde herzlich empfangen und gut betreut. Insgesamt ein tolles Erlebnis – wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!

Wir waren im September 2025 dort. Uns haben alle bestellten Gerichte sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Bedienung war außerdem sehr freundlich.

Ich besuchte das Restaurant sonntags zum „All-you-can-eat“-Buffet (10 €). Das Erlebnis verschlechterte sich zusehends, als mitten im Essen Regeln eingeführt wurden. Nachdem ich bereits eine Weile gegessen hatte, wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass ich ein bestimmtes Gericht nicht mehr nehmen dürfe, obwohl es noch am Buffet verfügbar war. Außerdem wurde mir gesagt, ich müsse ein Getränk bestellen – beides war weder in der Speisekarte noch in der Werbung erwähnt worden. Das fühlte sich weniger nach einem „All-you-can-eat“-Buffet an, sondern eher nach einer willkürlichen Kontrolle aufgrund begrenzter Lebensmittelvorräte, bei der Einschränkungen willkürlich durchgesetzt statt transparent kommuniziert wurden. Bei einem Buffet müssen alle Beschränkungen und obligatorischen Getränkeregeln klar und deutlich vor Beginn des Essens angegeben werden. Änderungen der Bedingungen während des Essens sind unfair und schaffen eine unangenehme Atmosphäre. Ich fühlte mich dadurch sehr unwillkommen und werde nicht wiederkommen. Ich kann dieses Restaurant auch absolut nicht empfehlen.

This is the last restaurant I would ever go again. Such a terrible experience. They host buffet on Sundays from 16:00-20:00. We were around 10 adults and 4 children. We started entered the restaurant at 17:00 and whole buffet dishes were empty..they didn't refill anything at all. So you are basically left with only white rice you can eat. Everything was empty..no kebabs. No koftas. No Kabuli rice. Even upon multiple requests, they didn't serve or refilled anything. We Although they were serving the same kebabs to those who were ordering ala karte menu. Very cheap tactics from a restaurant. They even charged full price of buffet for 4-5 year old kids who hardly touched anything. There service is also pathetic. After such a disaster experience they didn't even bother to compensate In any way by offering any discount. All of us left hungry and we had to go to another restaurant to eat. This is the worst experience I ever had in any restaurant in my life. they only provide bitter experiences to the customers. I have attached the photos of the bill and also the empty buffet dishes as a proof. Stay away everyone.

I was very disappointed with the buffet at this restaurant. For a place that advertises a full buffet, there were absolutely no chicken or kebab dishes, which was one of the main reasons I visited. The selection was shockingly limited, and the available food didn't look fresh or appealing. The service made matters worse. The staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful, and it appeared as if no one cared about the guests or the empty buffet containers. It was frustrating waiting for someone to refill the dishes—but nothing was ever added. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I certainly wouldn't recommend this buffet to anyone.

Actually, this is the worst Afghan restaurant I've seen in Berlin. Last night, there were about 10 of us there, and the service was terrible. I do not recommend it if you're with a group of more than 2 or 3 people. It took more than 10 minutes to bring us water. Our friend invited us and spent over 200€. Even the waiters didn't seem to know how to take our orders. The owner of the restaurant just came, laughed, and left. I don't recommend this place to anyone.

I went to this restaurant for the buffet and had one of the worst dining experiences ever. When we arrived, there wasn't a single meat dish available—literally nothing except salad, a few vegetable dishes, and white rice. We thought maybe something would turn up, but only after we had started helping ourselves were we told that everything was gone. They could easily have told us this beforehand, before we even started eating at the buffet, but there was no mention of it. Instead, we were left practically without any food and still had to pay full price, as if we had been served a proper buffet. This was extremely disappointing and felt like a complete waste of money. I definitely won't be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone expecting a real buffet.

I went to this restaurant for their buffet and was extremely disappointed. The food was honestly horrible, most of the dishes tasted bland, stale, or just poorly made. To make things worse, they never bothered to refill the trays. Several items were empty for most of the time I was there, and staff didn’t seem interested in addressing it.

One of his employees was very rude. He was smoking a hookah himself. When I asked him to bring me a hookah, he said we don't have one. When he does, he doesn't even bring a weapon to the customers. Come on, come on.

We had Kubideh and the grilled chicken with 2 sides. Everything taste good and each dishes have their own character. Washed down with Safran Tea is perfect. Cannot pay with card tho!

Not only not recommended – but disappointing. The behavior of the staff, especially Mr. Riza, was extremely rude. Poor value for money, and unacceptable service.

I'm very surprised that people still treat people so politely in restaurants. It's almost like being a guest in someone's family. Super friendly, and generous with the food and drinks. I also don't understand why some people wrote that their dishes were served raw or dry. We were absolutely satisfied with our meal. I recommend it to anyone from Afghanistan, or any other nationality. If I know of one Afghan restaurant, it's this one. It gets 6/5 stars for service and ambiance.

I went there with my German friend. I told him that we (Afghans) have the best cuisine in the world especially when it comes to Kabab and Palau. Unfortunately the Kabab was raw and not well marinated. And the Mantu was also not delicious. Feel sorry for my friend. 😞

The Kabul Night Restaurant prepared the food for me as a caterer for my wedding reception. All guests were very impressed by the selection, the look and of course the taste. The service was also excellent, very accommodating and much more was done and delivered than agreed! This is not a given. The service was also excellent on the day of the celebration. It was constantly being refilled. Thank you very much and I give you the warmest recommendation!

One charming detail was the background music featuring Aryana Sayeed’s songs, which, along with some beautiful traditional OG designs, added a warm, Kabuli ambiance to the setting. first time here and didn't know what to expect but it was really good and definitely recommended. Friendly staff, regularly asked if anything was needed. I would say if you are unfamiliar with this cuisine, be surprised just like we were and enjoy.

I went there for the first time and had a pleasant experience. The staff was polite and professional. The waitress was particularly attentive, friendly and really welcomed us. The koobideh and juje were juicy and full of flavor. The homemade doogh with herbs went perfectly with the meal. The beautiful Persian music in the background gave the whole thing a nice touch. I can't understand the few less good reviews. Meat was super juicy. Staff also very friendly. Had a grill plate for one person. Price-performance was also right.

I noticed a significant drop in quality in this restaurant. An essential part of a Kubideh Kebab or Djudje Kebab is a grilled tomato as it provides the necessary moisture and improves the overall texture. Without it, the dish seems dry - that was exactly the problem here. Unfortunately, the Kubideh Kebab was significantly too dry - so much so that it almost felt like a piece of wood. An authentic kubideh should consist of a balanced mix of lamb, veal and lamb fat, giving it a soft, almost cotton-like consistency and being naturally juicy. However, this one was tough and difficult to cut. Although the taste was acceptable, the consistency was not as expected. The same problem existed with the Djudje Kebab. It was made from chicken breast, but a good djudje should be well marinated and grilled at the right temperature so that it remains juicy and tender. Unfortunately, this meat was too dry - almost like a piece of chalk. The portion size was fair, both the Kubideh Kebab and the Djudje Kebab were a good size. However, due to the quality of the meat, I unfortunately can't give it more than one star.

Unfortunately the food in your restaurant was really bad. Her rice wasn't cooked properly. The chicken was raw. Their manti had an unpleasant smell and the meat inside was also raw.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant when visiting with my family. The staff member, who appeared to be Iraqi, was unprofessional and lacked an understanding of Afghan and Pakistani culture. He became upset when we pointed out that we had not ordered certain items, and the overall interaction felt disrespectful. Although the restaurant is named 'Kabul,' it does not seem to reflect Afghan hospitality or culture. I would not recommend it for families seeking a welcoming environment. Consider other halal restaurants that better accommodate cultural sensitivities

Today I tasted Kabuli-Pilaw here, this pilaf was completely tasteless, there was actually no meat, but to cover it up they put two big bones in my plate, the price does not correspond to the quality, and it is €15 for this plate, I definitely do not recommend it.

We had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant. Our food was served cold and when we complained the waiter said it was from the morning. The food was super tasty, hot and arrived quickly. The service was nice and courteous. The price very good. BUT: the ventilation doesn't seem to be working at the moment (at least I hope that's not the norm!). All of our clothes, including our underwear and our hair, smelled extremely of barbecue and frying oil, so it was extremely embarrassing to get on the subway afterwards. After two days on the balcony in the fresh air, one could dare to put the coat back on (which is not washable). The air was so bad that you had to walk through visible clouds of fog on the way to the toilet. Please repair FAST! Otherwise, I can only recommend not going back until spring/summer when you can sit outside.

The food was really disastrous. I think they have no idea about Afghan food. We ordered a do piaza, which was more like a soup, and the onions were very large. And a chalaw Gardan that was so heavily roasted in oil and tomatoes that it tasted more like tomato than meat... Qabeli and Manto were relatively good.

Very nice places, very tasty food

We were there twice! First time I had to bring the Kabulipolo home and let the rice cook again! We lost our appetite while eating because it wasn't cooked properly and was just greasy! Today we were there again and were so hungry, the food outside was disgusting and not clean!! I wanted a kebab with rice and oh dear! The rice wasn't cooked again and tasted so much like rose water that it tasted unbelievably bad! Hansen Spit was just sour like bad Hans and I only had a bite of kebab because it was catastrophic! It tasted like liver and blood meat and was super firm. The sambuse with minced meat was really fatty and cooked like crazy and just dripped pure fat!! Plates for 2 people and over 50€ were paid and left behind because we had lost our appetite!!!Half an hour later, there you go. Stomach ache and simply sitting in the bathroom for 2 hours because of poor food and quality. Never again!! A shame for time and money and health!!

I really felt that I was in Kabul, the atmosphere was just like the restaurants in Afghanistan. It was really good Afghan atmosphere 👏 I felt like Afghanistan, and the food was delicious, but the portion was a bit less. If you consider this, it would be perfect.

Afghan cuisine is a rarity in Berlin, and in Germany in general. I was blown away by the dishes at this restaurant. My (numerous) Persian friends are not allowed to read this, but: Kubideh and the like taste a lot more delicate here than in the usual restaurants. Be sure to reserve in the evening! If I could only have one meal until the day I die: It would be the chicken skewer with caramelized barberries here at Kabul. God save this house!

Hello, it was really a restaurant with Afghan flavor and taste I felt myself in Kabul with special variety, quiet atmosphere with good taste, I chose Chupan Kebab, it was excellent with reasonable price.

After more than 12 years in Afghanistan, I can distinguish good food from bad and freshly cooked food from another. We were at this restaurant on April 21, 2024. Not only were we the only guests and it was extremely cold (we turned on the radiators ourselves at some point), the atmosphere was a disaster. One of the lamps was broken and flickering and it was generally very "cold". The plastic flower on the table made no difference here. The food was mediocre. Mantoo and Ashak were good, but it was the first time we had Ashak with spring onions. Kebab Teke was also not fresh... Qabli Palaw was from the day before yesterday. Same with the rest. My daughter ordered spaghetti Bolognese. The minced meat sauce was a cream... We were the only guests. There were two families who went into the restaurant, took a quick look around and went straight back out. We should have done that too. The service person was a diamond and she really deserved better. She tried her best, but can't make up for the owner's lack of performance. I really felt sorry for her that she had to work there. In summary, Kabul Night Restaurant was a nightmare restaurant.

Nach über 12 Jahren in Afghanistan kann ich gutes von schlechtem und frisch gekochtes Essen von anderem unterscheiden. Wir waren am 21.04.24 in diesem Restaurant. Nicht nur dass wir die einzigen Gäste waren und es saukalt war (wir haben irgendwann selbst die Heizkörper angestellt), das Ambiente war eine Katastrophe. Eine der Lampen waren kaputt und flackerten und es war im allgemeinen sehr "kalt". Die Plastikblume auf dem Tisch brachte hier keinen Unterschied. Das Essen war mittelmäßig. Mantoo und Ashak waren gut, jedoch war es das erste Mal, dass wir Ashak mit Lauchzwiebeln gegessen haben. Kebab Teke war ebenso nicht frisch... Qabli Palaw war von vorgestern. Genauso der Rest. Meine Tochter hatte sich Spaghetti Bolognese bestellt. Die Hackfleischsoße war eine Creme... Wir waren die einzigen Gäste. Es gab zwei Familien die ins Restaurant rein sind, haben sich kurz umgeschaut sind sind direkt wieder raus. Hätten wir auch machen sollen. Die Servicekraft war ein Diamant und sie hat echt besseres verdient. Sie hat ihr bestes versucht, kann aber die fehlende Leistung des Inhabers nicht wett machen. Sie tat mir echt leid, dass sie dort arbeiten muss. Zusammenfassend war das Kabul Night Restaurant ein Nightmare Restaurant.

Food was okay but Qabuli Palau hardly had any meat with the rice and that for €14.9! There was only a small piece of meat, which was more bone than flesh. Hamkarai Pesh roi khub bashan.

The food is fantastic every time, I order here regularly with my parents, the meat is juicy, the rice is super tasty, very well seasoned and the prices are also very good.
