Unfortunately, employees aren't in the same good mood every day. However, when you're in the public eye and dependent on customers, there's a golden rule: what goes around comes around. Most likely, there wasn't comprehensive instruction, training, and customer service. A complaint to the manager or human resources office will definitely help next time.
