I blame the Germans who are clueless about authentic Asian food and in particular Chinese. I bet it is tough having this style restaurant where the customers cannot handle anything to season their food except for salt and pepper. We had to ask for the chili sauce as well. Dinner was ok but not the type of Asian food we get in California or in Asia itself. Always just a water downed version of what typically is very spicy. Such a shame. So many excellent Asian dishes to be had then turned into bland tasteless food. The wontons were right out of a freezer bag and heated up in a pan. Tasteless. Wontons Soup was watery and flavorless but had a good selection of vegetables in it.

The price/performance ratio is right and we will definitely eat here again before the next concert at Backstage.

The restaurant's own delivery drivers (plural) were incredibly uneducated. They didn't even know the German word for "ground floor," so they mistook my apartment number for the floor and ran upstairs. I went out to pick it up myself and taught them how to find a studio apartment in Germany. They didn't even know how to thank me. They just told me, like idiots, that they couldn't find me upstairs. Their lack of education is truly terrifying. No wonder they're destined to be delivery drivers for the rest of their lives. The food itself wasn't great either. It was nothing like authentic Chinese food. I won't be ordering from them again.

We ate here as a group and were consistently impressed by the quality of the food! The dishes were freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. The portions were truly generous, and everyone was satisfied. The menu offers a wide selection of well-known Asian dishes, as well as several traditional Chinese dishes that are definitely worth trying! There was also a selection of vegetarian dishes. Yes, some of the prices are quite high, but they're still justified considering the quality and portion sizes. The ambiance isn't exactly eye-catching, but it's not a negative either.

We asked for it to not be spicy, of course it still was. Additionally to that, in the seafood soup, there were only 2 crawfish and they weren't even peeled. Also the soups were too oily. The prices on the photos weren't updated, so it was even more expensive, definitely not worth the prise. And worst of all, we weren't feeling well after the food.

We came to this restaurant after finding several videos/reviews online stating that the food was quite authentic. The spicy chicken was amazing, the other 2 dishes were just ok. There are a lot of options including many authentic Chinese dishes that are not easy to find in "European" Chinese restaurants. I only give 4 stars as the service was not good. The waitresses seemed not to be that interested, although the restaurant was almost empty.

One should be wary of using the term "insider tip," but in this case, the rating is absolutely appropriate. Tucked away in the "Forum am Hirschgarten" is this little gem with a huge menu and incredibly well-prepared Chinese dishes. The service is extremely friendly and very accommodating. Highly recommended.

Very authentic Chinese food, suitable for our Asian stomachs, friendly staff, and affordable prices. This is my second visit in Munich in 4 days!

Dined in one month ago, rice was charged, packing box was charged when we wanted to pack the leftover. Usually Munich Chinese restaurant offers free rice with dish order. Ordered to go again with the same dishes but this time the rice was free. It is nice but confused for clients. Why rice was charged when dining in? It feels like charging is inconsistent and it depends on serving staff. It is a quite small thing and not much money but the feeling is not right.

The lady who took my order unfortunately doesn't speak any German. She took the wrong order and insisted that I now had to pay more to get what I originally ordered. They also didn't offer any leniency to ensure I received my correct meal. The chef then tried to sell me a different dish, which was even more expensive, and said I had ordered the wrong one. Unfortunately, this isn't even remotely true, as the menu apparently doesn't reflect what's on offer.

I go to this restaurant very often, but unfortunately the same dish never tastes the same. Once I had one of the best dishes, the next time it was the same dish - just of a completely different quality. The chefs and waiters are constantly changing, which leads to great unreliability. Although the owners are nice, I can never rely on what I get. Lately the dishes have also been way too salty and some waiters are taking orders incorrectly. We even used to have a waitress who, for some inexplicable reason, always overcharged us. What matters most to me is the quality and taste of the food as well as the correct processing of the order. Unfortunately it's the last time I'll eat here - I can no longer afford to play Russian roulette. Update: I went there again, the food seems to be of good quality again and the permanent waitress who is there now does her job very well. Hopefully it stays that way as the restaurant has a lot to offer! Thanks for the improvement!

We were traveling with the Schlemmerblock again and came across this restaurant. There were good portion sizes and good taste, but no wow effect. Still good. The dessert with the coconut-mango sticky rice was particularly good. Absolute recommendation for anyone who likes it sweet. The staff was very friendly. The food, except for dessert, came very quickly. Very clean and large toilets.

We spontaneously went to the restaurant before a concert. The food was excellent, the portions are huge and the price was completely reasonable. The restaurant is well decorated and the food is good. I saw on Google Maps that it closes at 11 o'clock, so I arrived at 9:20. Before I came, I had already checked out the dishes I wanted to eat on Google Maps. Then when I arrived at the restaurant, I was only provided with an A4 paper menu. I wanted to eat boiled beef louvers, pickled fish, spicy and sour potato shreds, and single portions. There was nothing on the grilled fish. I asked the waiter if they had boiled beef scallops and was told that they had everything on the white paper menu. Later, he asked the kitchen for me and said they didn't have it. In desperation, I had to order two dishes on the white paper that I didn't really want to eat. The portions of the dishes are not small and the taste is good. It would be better if you order the dishes you want to eat. I also asked why I didn't review the large bound menu in the picture the day before, but was told that the menu is currently being upgraded. Nice restaurant, could be even better if there were more choices.

From a distance, it looks like an ordinary German restaurant. Great Thai and Chinese food in large portions. Prices are OK. Service is variable, but the older Asian lady is very nice. There's a play area for children and a separate box of tissues for families. The atmosphere is OK. A lot of Asian food comes in, so that's a good sign.

Had it delivered. Went very quickly. The eggplants had way too much oil. The fried noodles were still ok. Won't order again. It's a shame, it wasn't cheap either.

They also drive a cafeteria cart through the restaurant to the kitchen, which only causes noise. How can you install a children's playground in a restaurant? Of course, this doesn't bother the parents of these children at all - the main thing is that they have the kids away for a while. TERRIBLE !!!!! The children drive the mobile toy through the restaurant - actually unimaginable. I complained about the noise twice, which the boss didn't care about. Oh, there was a Chinese celebration on the other side of the bar. These people behaved like idiots - here too the boss didn't say anything about it, The food was only lukewarm and poorly seasoned. The crispy duck or chicken was anything but crispy. In both cases, instead of crunch, there was just a boring, floppy skin on the dishes - unfortunately all without sauce - very weak. The boss and the waiter were very nice. I ordered dinner when I picked up the food. It was surprisingly good. There was a big bowl full of pickled fish.

Have been eating very well here for years. Unfortunately, the quality has steadily decreased after Corona. Staff feel disturbed if you have extra requests. The food and the jasmine tea were only lukewarm. When we complained that we wanted the food warm and I wanted my fried rice with beef with spices as usual, I had to ask the boss first. Apparently he didn't want to respond and the waitress stood there at a loss. But then he brought the food into the kitchen to warm up. After about 15 minutes the food came back. But not our previous plates. The crispy duck with mango was now without mango, almost without sauce and the duck meat was bland, tough and long strips without crispy skin. The fried rice with beef was now even greasier than before, only half the portion, the fried egg with peanut pieces was completely missing and just as seasonless. On top of that, there was now less beef, but instead there was a piece of chicken. Not possible for the price. Both dishes were only slightly warmer. You feel really ripped off. After another request for spices, the hot sauce and soy sauce with salt and pepper were brought. Normally this has already been on the table. If we didn't know that things could be better, we would never visit this place again, but apparently there is only general reluctance to work on Sundays and public holidays. I hope the boss will return to good quality that is appropriate for the prices. There are plenty of other Asians with very good cuisine in Munich.

I almost skipped this place because of the star rating. Then I remembered how harsh Germans are on reviews so we gave it a chance. The food was amazing. The service was great and the place was clean and nice inside. I only got one picture of the food. Everything we ordered tasted great.

I've eaten at their house several times, including takeout and dine-in, and it's delicious. I like the fish-flavored shredded pork and grilled fish. My sister also gave me a discount. I’m so happy. I’m also looking forward to the takeout. I’ll come back next time.

We all enjoyed the food very much. There is a large menu with Chinese dishes, but also from various Asian cuisines. There is something for everyone. The service was friendly and quick. The inside of the restaurant was nicer than expected, with lots of wood and modern but still cozy furnishings. We were here on a Thursday evening. Despite a small event in the next room, it was very pleasant, not loud and not too busy.

We came here to try something different and what we had was disgusting. Chicken was raw! Poo on toilet seat and unfriendly staff. I think the best part of the restaurant was leaving it and holy cow it´s overpriced.

No lunch buffet, although it is advertised in front of the restaurant. There was a lunch menu for that. I had to wait 45 minutes for my meal, and with an hour lunch break I had to wolf down the food. And then it didn't taste like anything, even though it looked beautifully presented. It's a shame, I liked to go there for a "quick" meal at lunchtime.
