Joujou in Bad Dürkheim

Katastrophe. Die Bedienung völlig überfordert. Den ausgeschilderten Wein (Grauburgunder) gibt es nicht. Die Manna Palatina Velvet wird entgegen der Beschreibung ohne Walnüsse serviert, die Royale ohne Rucola. Die Bestellaufnahme dauert 20 Minuten, obwohl nur 2 Kunden vor mir waren. Die Bedienung war nett, machte aber einen hilflosen und überfordern Eindruck. In unserer Anwesenheit haben 6 Gäste das Restaurant verlassen, weil sie auch enttäuscht waren. Das Essen ist völlig überteuert. Wir haben jedoch auf Grund der ganzen Probleme 5 Euro Nachlass bekommen. Dem Restaurant geben meine Frau und ich keine Zukunft. Macht einen Bogen drum.

Eigentlich reicht es , darauf hinzuweisen, dass eine hohe Antahl an diffamierenden Rezessionen entfernt wurden. Das Ambiente ist zauberhaft, das Essen hat geschmeckt....aber der Service ist überfordert und ist nicht professionell..... Da leider bei meiner Servietten " Pinsa"in der Karte als Manna Palatina angegeben eine wesentliche Zutat fehlte, durfte ich das Brett zurück geben und die Zutat wurde ergänzt.... Es tut mir leid, die ganze Wirkung im Garten wirkt wie vergessen...was ist passiert?Die Blumen trotz Bewässerungsschläuchen alle verdorrt, auf dem mittleren Tisch, der von der Straße sichtbar ist, stehen vertrocknete Sträuße...die Ambitionen sind toll aber das Ergebnis ist Besorgnis erregend ....Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist um 30 Prozent überteuert. Schade!!

Das Restaurant war bis zum 03.07.26 eines meiner Lieblingsorte. Oops, am Freitag war es ein Reinfall in jeder Beziehung. Wir waren die ersten Gäste, die mit der neuen Karte konfrontiert wurden. Wir brauchten eine Weile, um uns durchzuarbeiten und leider war auch der Service nicht in der Lage , uns behilflich zu sein. Leider wird kein Brot mehr serviert, was aufgrund der Bäckerei nebenan unverständlich erscheint. Die doch leckeren Speisen wären mit Brot vollkommener gewesen, auch bezüglich Verträglichkeit.

Ich war mittlerweile schon ein paar Mal im Joujou, sowohl zum Brunch als auch abends und es hat uns jedes Mal sehr gut gefallen. Da alles glutenfrei und vegan ist, macht den Besuch für mich besonders entspannt, weil ich einfach alles essen kann, ohne nachfragen zu müssen. Auch die Atmosphäre ist richtig schön. Durch die vielen Räume im ehemaligen Wohnhaus ist es gemütlich, und draußen sitzt man ebenfalls sehr schön. An meinem Geburtstag konnten wir sogar in einem separaten Raum essen, das war einfach perfekt!

Wir durften hier an einer sehr gelungenen Firmenveranstaltung teilnehmen. Das Ambiente ist toll und das Team unglaublich nett und sympathisch. Essen und Weine waren lecker. Wenn wir in der Nähe sind, kommen wir gerne wieder.

Wohlfühloase im wunderschönen Leistadt Wir waren schon öfter im Joujou in Leistadt und es ist jedes Mal ein tolles Erlebnis: Der beeindruckende Koch zaubert vegane Fine Dining Küche, kann aber auch Fleisch und Fisch wahnsinnig gut zubereiten. Auf meine Histaminintoleranz wurde auch kurzfristig noch Rücksicht genommen - das hatte ich gar nicht erwartet und wollte das auch keinen Küchenteam zumuten. Aber mir wurde ein fantastisches histaminarmes Menü serviert, das mich sprachlos gemacht hat. Einfacher ist es für die Küche, man kündigt Entsprechendes vorher an. Den Service macht u.a. die Besitzerin Mareile - wir wurden so lieb umsorgt - das war außergewöhnlich! Ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch in Leistadt - vielleicht ja zur Leistadter Kerwe oder zu einer der vielen tollen Veranstaltungen, die das Joujou regelmäßig auf die Beine stellt.

Wir haben uns eigentlich sehr auf den Besuch und das Überraschungsmenu gefreut. Leider mussten wir schon früh feststellen, dass die Wartezeit pro Gang fast eine Stunde in Anspruch nehmen würde, obwohl die Gerichte sehr klein und nicht kompliziert waren. Es gab keinerlei Kommunikation seitens des Teams. Wie schon erwähnt, waren die Portionen unfassbar klein und deshalb keinesfalls sättigend. Sie standen nicht im Verhältnis zu den Preisen. Der Muttertag war für uns eigentlich ein schöner Anlass, um gemeinsam Zeit zu verbringen. Es gab keinerlei Entschädigung und Entgegenkommen. Sehr schade.

Leider hat uns der heutige Besuch trotz wundervollem Ambiente nicht überzeugt und wir waren enttäuscht beim allerersten Besuch. Wir hatten ein stilles Wasser bestellt (Bio Qualität) und ein Stück Apfelkuchen. Der Empfang war freundlich, es wirkte jedoch nicht so als ob man daran interessiert wäre wirklich zu bedienen. Die Bestellung musste im Café aufgegeben und dort auch direkt von der Kundschaft mitgenommen werden, von Selbstbedienung hatte ich nichts gelesen. Für einen Apfelkuchen der trocken schmeckte und ein stilles Wasser fanden wir 8€ als wirklich überteuert. Das Ambiente selbst ist liebevoll und absolut gepflegt.

Wir waren am Wochenende mit 4 Personen dort essen. Leider muss ich sagen, dass wir in fast jeder Hinsicht enttäuscht waren. Das Ambiente war sehr familiär und freundlich. Wir hatten einen Tisch für 4 Personen und unsere Hunde waren willkommen. Nach einer kurzen Einweisung zur Speisekarte, die nicht aussagefähig ist, hatten wir uns für das 4 Gänge Menü entschieden. Mit dem Gruß aus der Küche ging es sehr lecker los. Frische Brötchen und zwei vegane Aufstriche. Ab jetzt ging es steil bergab! Die erste Vorspeise war ok. Der Spargel der zweiten Hauptspeise war total verkocht und durch Nachgrillen total verbrannt. Zur Hauptspeise gab es Fenchel. Dieser war komplett kleingeschnitten, viel zu weich gedämpft und kalt, was vermuten lässt, dass das die Hauptspeise nicht frisch gemacht wurde. Mittlerweile waren fast drei Stunden vergangen. Wir haben sehr lange auf die Gänge gewartet. Die Aussage der Bedienung war, dass die anderen Tische noch nicht so weit sind. Die Besucher der anderen Tische kamen später oder hatten ein Menü mit mehr Gängen geordert. Deshalb hatten wir das Gefühl, dass der Service und die Küche versucht haben immer nur den selben Gang zu servieren, was für uns die Wartezeit unnötig herausgezögert hat. Getränke konnten wir nur bestellen, wenn ein neuer Gang gebraucht wurde. Zwischendurch hat keine Servicekraft nach uns geschaut. Nachdem wir uns über den beschriebenen Hauptgang und die Wartezeit beschwert hatten, sagte uns die Bedienung, dass sie es der Küche sagt. Wir haben aber keine Rückmeldung bekommen. Der Nachtisch kam deutlich schneller. Leider war der Rhabarber holzig ( nicht geschält) und der Brownie schmeckte wie ein Pappkarton. Unterm Strich wollten wir uns von einem veganen Menü begeistern lassen aber leider bekamen wir nur kaltes Essen über alle Gänge mit sehr schlechter Ausführung und kleinen Portionen. Mit Hunger nach 4 Gängen sind wir gegangen. Es ist uns noch nie so schwer gefallen für 2 Menüs 180€ inkl. Getränke zu zahlen. Der Preis war zu keiner Zeit gerechtfertigt. Schade, das Konzept und das Ambiente könnten mehr bieten.

Im Joujou fand am 17.04 ein Winzerbattle Pfalz vs. Mosel mit einem 5-Gänge-Flying-Menü statt. Die Kulisse war wunderschön, mit einem geschmackvoll eingerichteten Außenbereich und einer tollen Vinothek – ein gelungener Mix aus urig und modern. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen, und DJ Kai sorgte für eine ausgelassene Stimmung. Es wurden sehr gute Weine präsentiert, und zu jeder Verkostung gab es kleine, passende Häppchen. Das Essen war köstlich, auch wenn die Portionen etwas überschaubar waren. Insgesamt ein tolles Event in einer schönen Umgebung – absolut empfehlenswert!

Nicht ganz alltägliches Restaurant in allen Belangen. Außergewöhnliche Speisekarte, außergewöhnlich freundliches und aufmerksames Personal und außergewöhnliches Ambiente, sehr gemütlich. Sehr zu empfehlen, einfach mal auf der Homepage stöbern 😍 Reservieren wäre hilfreich 😉

Wir waren in Rahmen des Mandelblütenfestes dort, um das passende Menü zu essen. Unbedingt empfehlenswert. Lockere Atmosphäre, gemütliche Einrichtung, wenige Tische, sehr gutes Essen. Gerne wieder!

Wir waren schon mehrfach dort, sowohl zum Brunch als auch zum Dinner, und können beides absolut empfehlen. Die Karte wechselt regelmäßig, ist saisonal, regional, vegan und glutenfrei. Da ist wirklich für jeden etwas dabei. Das Team ist super herzlich, unkompliziert und total bemüht, man fühlt sich direkt willkommen. Im Sommer sitzt man wunderschön im Innenhof, und drinnen ist es mit den kleinen, separaten Räumen fast wie ein Abend bei Freunden, total gemütlich. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne!

Wir waren zum veganen Brunch dort und waren echt begeistert. Der Brunch war in drei Gänge aufgeteilt - ein herzhafter Anfang mit großer Auswahl, dann Törtchen/Waffeln und eine warme Speise am Ende - es war super lecker und der Service war sehr zuvorkommend. Einfach toll!!

Das Essen war sehr lecker – wir hatten ein glutenfreies 4-Gang-Menü mit Weinbegleitung und waren begeistert. Jeder Gang war geschmacklich hervorragend und liebevoll zubereitet, die Weinbegleitung perfekt abgestimmt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das tolle Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Abend in angenehmer Atmosphäre. Absolut empfehlenswert! 🍷✨ Das Glutenfreie Brot schmeckt sehr lecker. ✌️Kommen gerne wieder.

Yesterday, our group of four, including two children aged four and eight, visited this vegan restaurant for the first time, even though we ourselves aren't vegan. We simply wanted to try something new. I had mentioned when making the reservation that we wanted to celebrate my birthday there – which made the service we experienced all the more disappointing. The food didn't impress us, and we felt the price-performance ratio was unbalanced – especially since children as young as four pay 50% of the adult price, which didn't seem to fit with the overall concept. However, the most negative aspect was the service. We waited over 30 minutes for simple bread rolls and had to remind the server several times before finally approaching us, as no one proactively attended to us. While the table was cleared occasionally, everything seemed casual and inattentive. Especially on an occasion like a birthday, we would have expected more friendliness and attention. Good service could have salvaged the experience – but unfortunately, the opposite was true. It was an experience, but not a good one. We won't be returning and cannot recommend the restaurant.

Yesterday, the four of us were there for the first time. The small restaurant is stylishly decorated and very cozy. We had a four-course dinner, and each dish was beautifully presented and delicious. It's worth noting that the food is high-quality, regional, vegan, and gluten-free, and therefore a bit more expensive.

Unfortunately, negative reviews are deleted here. You're even asked to delete reviews via direct email. This is rather disappointing and distorts reality. We went to JouJou for brunch. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it for the price of €39 plus drinks. The ambiance is very nice, to begin with. And certainly very nice for enjoying a glass of wine! There were six of us, and we received the same portion size as the four people sitting at the next table. We were all still hungry afterward :( Unfortunately, the service also left much to be desired. Orders were forgotten, no one took the time to take orders for the whole table, and when we asked for more bread, we were treated rudely. We were really looking forward to visiting JouJou. Therefore, I'm all the more disappointed, and I'm sorry to give such a bad review. Unfortunately, it reflects the poor value for money and service.

The portions are a good size, so you're not tempted to eat too much or throw food away – and you can always order more if you want. The service was super friendly and very attentive! If you book for brunch, you unfortunately have to arrive before 12, otherwise you'll have to order from the menu. We arrived on time, but we wanted to order five more and we couldn't fit any more 🥲 Otherwise, everything was absolutely delicious. The bread was unfortunately very dry (and I'm used to gluten-free bread), but it's still incredibly nice that it even exists. We brought dessert with us 🥰 I'm looking forward to it!

A fantastic experience. We had brunch at Joujou. We had five dogs with us – all of them were warmly welcomed!!! It was simply wonderful. The food was incredibly delicious. Everything was vegan and gluten-free. I think the selection and quality were exceptional. The bread alone was an experience! When you have brunch, you really have to bring your time. Personally, I wasn't really focused on that, and at some point it took too long for me. But that's just nitpicking. Next time, I'll remember that and make sure I bring enough time. We'd love to come back on our next vacation!!

A real highlight, especially for vegans and vegetarians: The selection is diverse and lovingly curated, without compromising on taste. The hosts were extremely friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. You immediately feel that their work is done with passion. An all-round harmonious experience – we will definitely be back!

The joujou in Leistadt is a true gem for gourmets seeking something special. Nestled in the idyllic landscape of the Palatinate region, this restaurant offers not only outstanding cuisine but also an ambiance that invites you to linger. ​The menu is a creative homage to regional products, enhanced with international flair. NOTE: Kitchen open till around 20:00. We tried to go for dinner at 20:30. Two adults and a friendly dog. I tried to call before but nobody answered. Warm summer evening. Despite the web site saying explicitly ‘kitchen until 21:00’ and google saying ‘open till 22:00’ we have been sent away, only drinks were possible. We tried to plea for something, even a snack but nope, only drinks, we were firmly sent away. Very disappointing, good customer service is something else. Restaurant is pretty, in the middle of a very narrow village, parking difficult there are very few places opposite but otherwise nearly impossible

We tried several times to call the restaurant and book a table, but unfortunately no one was available. The internet lists the kitchen opening times for Saturday as open until 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. We arrived at 8:25 p.m. There were only a few guests and we were arrogantly told that the kitchen was no longer taking orders. It was an hour and a half before closing time and more than half an hour before the time stated on the website. No opportunity for a snack, no friendly chat, no "I'm sorry we have to close early today." We met an absolutely arrogant and condescending person that evening. The restaurant and garden are attractive, but unfortunately the staff are not. We won't be back.

My girlfriend has celiac disease and doesn't have a good selection in Nuremberg. So it was all the more wonderful when I discovered Joujou online. This week I ordered some gluten-free items to surprise my girlfriend. The delivery arrived quickly, and the surprise was a complete success. Everything looks great and tastes fantastic. This certainly won't be my last order from you, thank you very much.

Ich beziehe schon länger mein glutenfreies Brot von Joujou. Nun war ich über das Wochenende in der Region und war zweimal im Restaurant. Samstagabend habe ich im schönen Aussenbereich gesessen und das Drei-Gang-Menü mit Weinbegleitung genossen. Sehr aufmerksamer Service. Freundlich. Die Getränke kamen zügig und waren alle sehr gut temperiert. Das Essen wurde (teilweise) vom Koch an den Tisch gebracht und jeweils wurde detailliert erläutert was auf dem Teller angerichtet war. Ich war von allen Gängen begeistert. Wenn man auf diesem Niveau vegan kochen kann, dann brauche ich keine tierischen Produkte mehr. Die gute Qualität hat natürlich ihren Preis. Es war in meinen Augen jeden Euro wert. Am Sonntag habe ich noch einen Lunchstop gemacht und ein Tellergericht genommen. Der Service war sehr gut, wie am Vorabend. Brot, Dips und die Zutaten zum Tellergericht waren ebenfalls wieder hervorragend. Leider waren die Penne etwas zu lang im Wasser und dadurch zu weich. Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen, der in der Preislage nicht passieren sollte. Trotzdem gibt es von mir volle Punktzahl. Macht weiter so. Ich komme wieder.

Disrespectful and unprofessional – that's not how you treat guests We arrived with great anticipation, as the café advertises its vegan and gluten-free offerings – unfortunately, we were completely disappointed. Despite several free tables, we were completely ignored. The waitress clearly saw us sitting down, but we simply weren't served. When we finally asked for the menu after some time, another waitress reprimanded us in an unfriendly and condescending tone – we "didn't wait" to be seated. Such a tone, coupled with complete disinterest in the guest, is completely inappropriate in a restaurant. No one explained to us beforehand that we would have to wait to be assigned – and even if they had, that's not how you speak to people who come voluntarily to invest their time and money. It's perfectly fine to have clear procedures – but the tone of voice makes the difference. What we experienced was simply disrespectful, unprofessional, and off-putting. The concept may be good, but that alone isn't enough when you treat your customers like this. Definitely a no-go for us!!! We felt very unwelcome. We've never been treated like this in a restaurant before. Very disappointing!

Unfortunately, our rating is both positive and negative. The ambience, service and the presentation of the food are top notch. Unfortunately, from our point of view, the price-performance ratio is not right. We also like to spend more money on good food. However, the spring salad for 17.90 doesn't fit, the dressing was average and the contents of the salad with a few beetroot pieces, apple slices and leaf lettuce and a few cucumber slices, the price is already too high. The asparagus was very good but again the price was too high. I ordered rump steak with it, here are only 2 small sections of rump steak. The sauce was also average. All in all, the prices for the food are too high. Either leave the prices and increase the taste significantly or lower the prices and leave the taste the same. The service was very friendly, unfortunately we had to wait a long time for the food even though there were few guests. Thanks anyway for the lovely evening.

We spontaneously went to Joujou on Sunday after our Pflaztrail. First in the wine lounge and then in the restaurant for dinner. If I (we) could, we would give 10 stars. I am personally enthusiastic about the concept and ambience. Modern and tastefully furnished. The food is gluten-free and vegan as a basis. Meat can also be ordered. There is a bakery with a farm shop and an online shop for gluten-free baked goods. We chose the brunch offer for our first visit. Very tasty and diverse. So we feasted our way through the variety of the menu with small portions. The service is excellent and the cuisine is outstanding. Meets my taste exactly.

Also ich und meine Familie sind zu diesem Restaurant gegangen haben bestellt und alles war super, dann haben wir gewartet und gewartet bis wir mal auf die Uhr geguckt haben und sahen das mittlerweile schon eine 1 Stunde und 30 Minuten vergangen sind, nicht nur lag das Problem daran das wir so lang warten mussten, sonder wie im Titel erwähnt wir vergessen wurden und sie haben sich erst wieder daran erinnert wo dann mein Vater hinein gegangen ist, und gefragt weshalb es so lange dauert, danach kam er wieder zurück und nach 5 Minuten kam die Kellnerin die uns eine billige Lüge erzählt das was mit der Fritöse nicht stimmte, was gar nicht wahr seien kann, weil die Leute hinter uns auch Pommes mit einer Rindswurst bestellt haben die erst so 20 Minuten nachdem wir da waren gekommen sind. Dann nachdem die Kellnerin da war und uns die Lüge erzählt hatte kam nach 5 Minuten unser Essen, und ich bin ehrlich für den Preis den meine Eltern später bezahlen mussten hat sich das Essen gar nicht gelohnt, weil erstens die Pommes und Rindswurst waren nichts besonderes, wir hätten auch so gut zu einer Pommesbude gehen können für die gleiche Qualität, aber einem viel niedrigeren Preis dazu waren die Brötchen trocken, bei meiner kleiner Schwester hatte man sogar die Röstzwiebeln zu den Pommes vergessen und der Salat war trocken mit sehr wenig Dressing, maximal ein paar Tropfen, und die Suppe war definitiv keine Spargelsuppe sondern höchstwahrscheinlich Spinat. Meine Mutter konnte sogar erkennen das dieses Spinat sogar Tiefkühl Spinat war. Also um abzuschließen hatten meine Familie und ich eine sehr schlechte Erfahrung in diesem Restaurant und wir werden nicht nochmal da essen.

First. Until now unknown to me. Unfortunately 😱 Because: I really missed something! Sophisticated, beautiful ambience with style and charm. So far I've only met great people there, with good and interesting conversations. It's probably also because you (at least I do) immediately feel comfortable and welcome there. The owners and the whole team there are very friendly, open and - yes - warm… The arts and crafts exhibition last week (beginning of April) was very appealing and there were beautiful things to see and buy. The live music (Lena & phil, lp-music.de) was exceptionally good and beautiful. I can't say anything about the restaurant, bakery and farm shop yet. But everything is still to come! 😇 The wine bar (+ usual range of drinks, finger food, etc.) invites you to linger and enjoy… I think you will read/hear a lot of good things about Joujou in the foreseeable future. Anyway, I really like it.

The food was excellent, the chef is completely confident and totally personable. Rarely have such good dishes been eaten without meat. Great, very nice and courteous service. The location is super beautiful and well known in the Palatinate. Absolutely recommended!

Beautifully designed wine bar, but despite the lovely outdoor areas, dining is only served indoors. Service is inconsistent, but attentive. The food is very good, refined, and regional.

Wir waren zu viert mit Hund zum ersten Mal im Joujou - und zählen uns jetzt schon zu den Stammgästen. Ein warmherziger Empfang, eine beeindruckende - auch nicht alkoholische - Getränkeauswahl, die edle und gemütliche Atmosphäre des schwarz-grünen Art-Deco-Zimmers und natürlich die grandiose Kulinarik. Jede einzelne Komponente auf den Tellern war ein Genuss - und das waren einige! Dazu ein aufmerksamer, sympathischer Service - da blieben wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch und sagen DANKE!

Every meal served was to our complete satisfaction. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive. We particularly appreciated the large selection in small portions, which we could reorder as desired.

This is a store where all items are gluten-free. I've only been there once so far, so I'd like to go again someday. You can also buy gluten-free breads, cakes, and ingredients.

We tried a cinnamon roll at your place on Vineyard Night. Guys, are you serious about charging 5 euros for a mini cinnamon roll that was totally dry? We're all fans of cinnamon rolls and often bake them at home, but I have to say they taste better even at the Aral gas station. You really didn't do yourself any favors and didn't advertise your skills at all. Catastrophe

Wow! We visited Joujou for a very special moment and the entire team gave us a wonderful and delicious evening. We had a 3-course meal with wine pairing and it was complete from start to finish. Thank you for these memories!

The stylish interior and exterior furnishings, which perfectly round off the ambience, are particularly impressive. The restaurant offers a varied menu with a large selection of delicious dishes - fresh, high quality and prepared with love. A special highlight is the farm shop, which offers a great selection of regional products and great baked goods. Perfect for taking a piece of Joujou home with you! I've been to Joujou several times now and am thrilled every time. The food was excellent as always. Freshly prepared with great attention to detail. Perfectly flavored and beautifully presented. Every bite is a pleasure. No matter what I've tried so far, it's always been spot on. The ambience is stylish and cozy. The service is warm and its friendliness creates a welcoming atmosphere. I always feel warmly welcome from the first moment. A place that I can warmly recommend and definitely enjoy visiting again and again. See you soon and please stay the same.

Visiting Joujou was a mixed experience. The first thing that struck us was the wonderfully designed ambience - an inviting room that invited people to linger and exuded a pleasant atmosphere. The service was generally friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, however, some annoying inconsistencies overshadowed the overall experience. The biggest drawback was the unfavorable price-performance ratio of the breakfast buffet. The portion seemed significantly too small for three people, which the waitress confirmed to us and although she assured us at the table that we could reorder free of charge, we were charged for the additional order in the end. This discrepancy between promise and reality left a bad aftertaste. Despite the friendly staff and the beautiful rooms, I can only recommend the restaurant for breakfast to a limited extent. The discrepancies in portion size and billing significantly clouded the otherwise promising impression.

Always an experience. The food and service are terrific. The ambience invites you to switch off and linger. I like coming here.

Das Joujou gilt hier nicht als ausschließlich vegan. Es gibt in der Tat auch einzelne, ausgesuchte Fleisch- oder Fischspeisen als Option. Leider kann ich deshalb hier nicht mehr als 4 Sterne vergeben. Der Grundtenor ist klar vegan, alles andere nur die Ausnahme, also genau anders als man es sonst kennt. Für mich wären daher fünf Sterne angemessen gewesen. Wir hatten das weihnachtliche Fünf-Gänge-Menü: sehr abwechslungsreich, ausgesprochen schmackhaft und höchst stilvoll angerichtet - ein Gaumenschmaus und eine Augenweide! Besonders gefällt mir, dass die Vielfalt und Fülle von Gemüse, Pilzen, Nüssen, Kräutern und Obst voll ausgeschöpft und mit raffinierten Zubereitungsweiaen kombiniert wird, um eigene Kreationen zu erzeugen, statt Fleisch- oder Fischprodukte zu imitieren. Die vegane "Ente" bestand also im Wesentlichen aus Sellerie, der kunstvoll und lecker angemacht war. Selbst die notorische Skeptikerin in unseren Reihen hat davon sehr gerne gegessen. Service und Ambiente im oberen Stockwerk haben etwas Privat-Familiäres. Für unsere Weihnachtsgesellschaft war dies genau das Richtige.

A wonderful evening with great service and, above all, exceptional food. All with a great sustainable concept. Basically everything is purely plant-based and prepared to a high standard. If you want, you can order a small meat side dish. Everything is gluten-free, which makes it a real insider tip for allergy sufferers.

Staff super nice, very friendly and an open smile. The food is very tasty. The taste is well balanced and there is something on the menu for every taste. Prices are higher than normal but still affordable. The only thing I would like to complain about is that the flank steak is labeled as a steak on the menu and in the end you only get two small pieces of meat, which is definitely not justified given the price (12 €). When you say "steak" you expect a whole piece of steak and not just two tender pieces. This should be stated differently, otherwise it is misleading. But all in all very well rounded and tastes perfect. I recommend it and will come back again.

A very nice place for individualists who are looking for a special café, bakery or restaurant with people who have not yet lost their grip on the ground. We were there as part of the mindfulness market. The offer was varied and very nice. The food was convincing in terms of quality and taste. The Advent market takes place in December, to which we come again with the whole family to enjoy a beautiful day. Higher enjoyment factor with lots of thoughts about sustainability and regionality. The bakery also scores points with special baked goods that are gluten-free. The vegan selection of dishes is great - and there was also organic bratwurst in the bun. We find this mixture to be very positive. The ambience and atmosphere are exceptional and very beautiful. We look forward to our next visit to Jou jou!

Simply fantastic! Everything is perfect here, from the concept to the implementation. The ambience, both in the courtyard and inside, is extremely harmonious and invites you to linger. I've already enjoyed breakfast and the coffee break and tried the dinner last night - and as always I was pleasantly surprised! The petit menu was excellently put together, lovingly prepared and simply delicious. Here you can really speak of first-class cuisine, which, despite being vegan, also offers meat and fish options. A real highlight in the Palatinate! 🤩 I highly recommend this place and look forward to my next visit!

Wir waren an einem Samstag im August gleich zweimal im JouJou. Am Mittag, um vor unserer Wanderung, Kaffee zu trinken und ein süßes Teil zu essen und später zum Abendessen! Am Mittag war es im schönen Ambiente im Hof ruhig und der Service hatte noch genügend Zeit für einen netten Plausch. Kaffee, Kuchen und Schorle kamenprompt. Was sich bei der Bezahlung abzeichnete, war das ambitionierte Preisniveau. Am Abend hatten wir jeweils Vor- und Hauptspeise und einmal das Drei Gang Menü. Zweimal vegan und einmal mit Fisch und einmal mit Fleisch! Das Lokal war gut gebucht und der Service hatte zu kämpfen. Bemüht, aber leider alles andere als souverän. Das Essen war geschmacklich okay, aber definitiv keine „neue“ Erfahrung. Die Portionen sind zu klein, so dass danach Hunger bleibt. Nein, es handelt sich bei uns nicht um übergewichtige „Kampfesser“. Wir hatten den Service darauf angesprochen und als Antwort bekommen, dass sich viele darüber beschweren… Wir sind gespannt, wie sich das weiter entwickelt und wünschen dem JouJou auch Zeit für kleine Veränderungen (Portionen).

Then i insist he answers " hello Joujou restaurant" he had the nerve to say " you called me " . that kind of lousy service if we keep on allowing it , our poeple will never pivot, leave them reviews , do not tolorerate that kind of arrogance and disrespect

This is a must seen! One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten in. The vegan menu is outstanding and served by wonderful, friendly service. And for those who don't want to give up animal products, meat or fish is also available as a sidekick. I will definitely come back.

It was our first visit today. We are totally excited about the concept, but even more so about the enthusiasm of all the employees who really live the concept. Coffee ☕️ and cake 🎂 were also very good. We also went to the farm shop and packed our bags full 😀 We were thrilled by the delicious gluten-free rolls, pure fruit jam and olive oil. First of all, it should be said that we felt very well received. Our dog was also welcome🐶. The service was very courteous and there was champagne on the house because you had won a gastronomy award. The rooms are very attractive and you sit comfortably. Personally, the price/performance ratio was a bit strange to me. I know that quality and sustainability have their price, but with two starters (and that's usually enough to fill me up) and a bill of around 23 euros plus a drink, I left the restaurant hungry rather than full. The salad was delicious and presented in a somewhat unusual way. The "Kohlrabi taeschchen" were really very manageable (2 small things with lots of dollops around them and a few sprouts on top for a sporty 15.90 EURO) although again very attractively presented. Please take this as constructive criticism. We were also charged an extra 3 euros for a portion of bread. With such portion sizes, I would have expected this to be included as a filling side dish.

Very nice restaurant with friendly staff. We were greeted with champagne on the house, but that was the last time we were pleasantly surprised. My parents each ordered a starter salad, which was tasty, but very small and not really that special (lettuce, cucumber, tomato, carrot with balsamic dressing and a thin slice of baguette as decoration). I had pumpkin gnocchi, which was excellent, but a relatively small portion (8-10 gnocchi if you have enough) for a reasonable 23 EUR. My mother had the cauliflower dumplings: 2 dumplings the size of gyoza for 16 EUR (!!!) and my dad ordered meat, which was served in 2 thin slices on a mini plate as a side dish. He also had to pay an extra EUR 3 for 3 half slices of bread. All in all, it's a shame that there is such extreme skimping here. I often like to spend money on good food, but then you have to be able to fill yourself up with a main course or two starters. I would have really liked to come back and bring my vegan and gluten-free girls with me too. Unfortunately it was rather disappointing and I would advise against it as long as the portions are still so measly.

If you like small portions at expensive prices, Joujou is exactly what you are looking for. Otherwise you are unfortunately wrong here. Overall rating: everything is fine. The food is delicious but the portions are just far too small for the price.

A must for all fans of plant-based cuisine! The food is not only vegan, but also a delight for the palate. The lovely farm shop with organic products completes the experience. The children's play area makes the visit fun for families too. An all-round successful place!

Wonderful ambience, very stylishly furnished. Creative, vegan cuisine and very friendly service. At EUR 19.90 for the "Ackergold" with grilled vegetables, I would have hoped for more than half a sweet potato, a single grilled tomato, a small piece of zucchini, a small piece of eggplant and a tiny piece of fennel. There was no herb dip either, as (I seem to remember) it said on the menu. Unfortunately, I went home hungry. And to do this you have to dig relatively deep into your wallet. For the high price and the far too small portion, I have to deduct a star. Even the children had to order more because they simply weren't satisfied with the portions (potato salad). And no, none of us are obese or particularly overeaten. The second missing star comes from the far too thin (!) wine spritzer. Unfortunately, several parties at the table complained about this...this is actually the other way around in the Palatinate.

Total lieb gestaltetes Ambiente mit sehr viel Geschmack und Liebe zum Detail sowohl innen wie im Außenbereich. Nett auch das kleine Hoflädchen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten einen tollen Abend. Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Service sehr freundlich (das findet man heute leider nur noch selten). Weiter so und ganz viel Erfolg mit diesem Konzept.

Delicious food and beautiful ambience. The offer, very special, sustainably and organically selected. For conscious eaters, a restaurant that is unique in the region. There is a star deduction for the portion size. But given the (justified) prices, I would at least like to be full.
