My absolute favorite restaurant. The food is always of outstanding quality. The ambiance and service are simply top-notch. I highly recommend it!

We treated ourselves to a short break there. It was worth every penny. Portuguese is the second official language in this restaurant, and the service is excellent. A taste of Brazil right in the heart of Duisburg. Even a longer journey of over 40 km would be absolutely worthwhile for this restaurant.

There's an interesting selection here. Appetizers and desserts are served buffet-style. The meat is served on skewers at the table. There's a samba interlude every now and then. Very good.

The ambiance is also beautiful – cozy, stylish, and perfect for a relaxing atmosphere. A big compliment to the dancer who made the evening so special. We will definitely be back – highly recommended!

This restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere. Live music plays discreetly in the background, while a guitarist walks through the rows, playing his guitar and singing. There's also a samba dancer performing intermittently. The meat is brought to your table and you can slice as much as you like from skewers. Different types of meat are brought around, so there's something for everyone. Side dishes are also brought around, and you can also help yourself to something from the buffet at any time. We really enjoyed it. The meat was of very good quality, everything was tender, cooked to perfection, and very tasty. The staff were super friendly, accommodating, and always up for a good laugh. This was our first time here and definitely won't be the last, especially since it's something unusual and out of the ordinary.

We were there last night with four people and were shown to our tables straight away. Service started straight away. To take advantage of the €49.90 all-you-can-eat offer, including beer and soft drinks, you have to bring a printout, which you can download from the website. VERY IMPORTANT!!!! Otherwise it doesn't count 😉. There was a wide selection of starters, and there were also antipasti, salmon, potatoes, grilled vegetables... We had barely sat down when the meat skewers started. They were good quality and you could have as much as you wanted. In between, rice, sauces, and other things were offered. After the meat skewers, warm bananas in honey and specially spiced pineapple were served - very tasty. There was also a dessert buffet with various types of ice cream, cakes, panacotta with cherries, and various creams. The chef came by several times to check that everything was OK. The service was all very friendly and pleasant. All in all, a successful evening.

We were here with four adults and two teenagers for a gourmet rodizio. It costs €65 per person. Yes, that's a lot of money, and you could probably add it up and say it wouldn't be worth it for teenagers. Of course, you can still fill yourself up with a €15 doner kebab from the snack bar. What it doesn't offer, however, is an experience. The service is great, very friendly and in a fun mood, which the kids also enjoyed. Yes, a smoked pork kebab is salty, as other reviews have criticized. But it also has an excellent crust, simply delicious. The sauces aren't Maggi either, that should be clear. So, if you're used to it and want it that way, you might be disappointed. For us, it was just right the way it was served. What was more of a 'problem' was... saying 'no'. You're offered so much, it's impossible to try everything. The appetizer buffet is completely cold, but well-made. Desserts are very solid and good. The ice cream was also a bit off-standard. We had the gourmet rodizio and were served rump steak and beef fillet separately (not on a skewer). I've had better ones elsewhere, but then I also paid more than I did for the full buffet selection here. For the soft drinks included in the above price, we would have paid around €100 elsewhere, but here it was €30 more. This puts the menu price into perspective. So, my absolute tip: try it if you like different meat varieties. Wear comfortable pants and bring some time. You can roll out the door stuffed in half an hour. But it's better to set the time to "red" every now and then and take a break. Definitely get the grilled pineapple. When I wouldn't recommend Brasil Live: for dates or romantic couples' evenings. It's not loud or uncomfortable, and the decor is okay. That's more to do with the amount you'll inevitably eat... afterward, you'll just want to curl up on the couch ;-) We'll definitely be back!

No matter what was served, the dishes were all delicious. The meat was grilled rare to medium and of really good quality. Fantastic value for money. For the same amount of meat of comparable quality, you would have paid twice as much at other restaurants. Furthermore, everything was clean and the staff very friendly. From the appetizer buffet, you can look into the open kitchen. That inspires trust.

Visited on a weekday. Used the Summer Rodizio for €39.90 including drinks. It was a pleasant visit to the restaurant with friendly hosts. Unfortunately, it was also very warm, as the temperatures outside are currently very high. It wasn't air-conditioned...; perhaps that's not even possible. Since the restaurant was fairly empty, we were served quickly and friendly. The "traffic light" on the table, which the guest uses to indicate when the next serving is due, was not really taken into account by the waiters. The food overall is truly delicious. Rodizio restaurant in the Altstadt of Duisburg. The gauchos deliver the meat, pineapple and other food in a rapid pace. Salad bar is rather limited not to mention the condiments. The menu options are rather obscure to me. We were told that the 60,- option is not the traditional option (40,-) plus the additional types of meat so we went for the traditional option. Food is generally good but sometimes salty. Staff is kind and quick. Prices are fair.

Unfortunately, a huge disappointment. Far too expensive for a very poor interpretation of a Brazilian rodízio. There's only one person (the Portuguese manager) serving the meat, so you wait forever while your plate remains empty. The variety of meat is very limited, and almost everything was far too bloody. The buffet lacks authentic Brazilian dishes. Rice, beans, fried cassava, and farofa (unfortunately tasteless and white) are brought to the table in tiny portions – far too few and rare. The "salmon with shrimp" was a disgrace: two tiny salmon fillets and two shrimp in a horrible sauce – for an outrageously high price. The service by the manager was far too rude, not at all what one would expect from Brazilian hospitality. At the end, he even made an unpleasant scene and indirectly accused guests of not paying. That's unacceptable! Positive points: - The ambiance is nice. - The Brazilian staff (not the manager) were very friendly. - The dancer was great. - The caipirinha was delicious – but unfortunately, extremely expensive. Conclusion: If you're looking for authentic Brazilian food and a great atmosphere, you should avoid this place. The value for money is completely off.

First of all, I have to say that what was served was extremely delicious! However, the obvious drawback is that you pay €40 for the "buffet," but not a single side dish is served to your table, even though it's stated on the menu. After the first meat arrived, the chef came with a bowl of fries, then mushroom sauce, black beans, and roasted vegetables. Everyone was then given something on their plate, and that was basically it... So, no "rich selection of side dishes like rosemary potatoes, rice, etc., which are served on the table and regularly replenished." Hence only the 3 stars, which are unfortunately far too few for the price.

Unfortunately, the side dish buffet wasn't marked, so I had some things that weren't quite to my taste. The meat from the spit was good, there was nothing to complain about here. Drinks were regularly topped up and drinks were asked for, great service. Gladly again.

We were a pure group of 9 men and I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. We were served very well throughout and consideration was given for one or two meal breaks. We also got a lot of beer throughout. There would be absolutely no stinginess. We'd love to come back

The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, a bit hidden in a few places, but still very well furnished. The food was very good, you were completely looked after, there was a buffet with side dishes and small dishes, a salad bar with fresh ingredients and also a small corner with all kinds of desserts and an ice chest for cool enjoyment. The employees provided you with various types of Brazilian meat on skewers. The herb butter is very good, very suitable for the bread that was served right at the beginning. Why it was called Brasil Live became clear as the evening progressed. A dancer in a typical Brazilian outfit danced to some well-known songs and swept through the rows and entertained most of the guests. It was a very good experience, but perhaps a little more space should be made for the performance. Unfortunately, I could only see a few of them from where I was sitting. Nevertheless, there are still 4 stars for the ambience. The price of the restaurant is definitely not suitable for every day, apart from lunch, but it is still very much worth a visit. :)

# Review for the Rodizio restaurant We were recommended Rodizio Restaurant by several friends and decided to try it out for the first time. The food was really delicious and looked fresh. We were particularly impressed by the idea of ​​the piece of wood that serves as a notice for the service staff: you can change it to red or green to signal whether you still want to be served meat or not. Unfortunately, our experience in this regard didn't go entirely according to plan. Although our piece of wood was marked green, each type of meat was only served to us once and we waited in vain for further refills, which left us very disappointed. A highlight was the grilled pineapple, which we definitely wanted to order again. But the waiter kept walking around us without serving us. Overall, in our opinion, this service does not justify the price of €64.99 (with a discount voucher that we had to print out and bring with us). Outside the blackboard and on the menu there was a price of €59.99 which is very misleading. A little tip: There are more environmentally friendly options than printing out discount vouchers. However, the staff was very friendly. Particularly noteworthy was one employee who delighted us with his good mood and his funny way of serving the “gorilla meat”. The dancer was also great to look at and brought a good mood to our group with her smile and energy. **Conclusion:** For the price and performance, we unfortunately won't eat there again, although the taste of the food was great. The restaurant is not authentically Brazilian. The meat was tough, dry and generally of poor quality. Everyone involved left meat lying around because some of it was not edible. It's loud and cramped. The service is very slow. If you want the real Brazilian experience you have to go to “Brasileirão” in Mönchengladbach. There you can get the best meat and good service from real Brazilians. No Brazilian in Cologne, Düsseldorf or Leverkusen can match that.

I have to say that this concept with a buffet and meat on the spit is entertaining, but it doesn't do justice to the time. Some salads were probably already past their shelf life, few of them tasted really good and the meat was usually a little over the top or not of particularly high quality. Of course in summer you eat okay, very plentifully but not very consciously or sustainably. So I would like to see some more modern cuisine here. It's better to have slightly more selected meat and of better quality and less of it so that you can enjoy it. Very friendly service.

The ambience was really nice, even though half of the store was dark. Unfortunately, it took a long time at the beginning until we got our first meal, even though we were the only guests in the evening alongside a couple. Things didn't work well with the drinks either. We were often left high and dry. The first meat was quite good - but still a bit too "rare" for my taste. But that's a matter of taste. The side dishes were poor and the concept of the "buffet" didn't appeal to me at all - because the waiters come over and offer you something, you can end up with nothing for a long time or then only have meat or only sauce or even only side dishes has plates.

On December 14th Spent an evening there with friends and we decided to book the drinks flat rate as well as the better meat offer including beef fillet. What followed was quality from the bottom drawer. The beef fillet tasted like it was cooked. There were no promised lamb chops; they were cut from other meat. Yes, no joke. The overall consistency of the meat was an absolute joke and showed poor quality and anyone who has been behind the stove will be able to do better. The side dishes had hardly any taste and if I buy good, cheap dried tomatoes and they taste 100 times better than what is on offer, then that says something. Sauces offered were thickened and without taste. I ate very little and left hungry. I have rarely experienced such disappointment and I cannot understand the positive reviews. I get better deals in other restaurants for less or a similar price. I'll never go there again!

We decided to celebrate our civil wedding with the family at the Brasil Live Rodizio Restaurant. The arrangements with Carlos, the owner, were great. He responded to all of our wishes and we were really looking forward to the celebration. On the day of the celebration everything was set up at the agreed time and we all had a very nice time together. Everyone enjoyed the food and there was also a variety of dishes for the vegetarian group. The entertainment was also great, everyone had a lot of fun! Our expectations were exceeded in every respect by Carlos and his staff. Thank you for this unforgettable evening! I'm sure we'll come back.

I actually have to give full marks here, the evening there was exorbitant. The restaurant has a typically rustic interior and the food is very good. The all Inc. menu is priced well-balanced and the small surcharge is even worth it for all Inc. drinks. The dishes were always brought to the table quickly and the buffet for salads and cold dishes was very extensive. Plus a Brazilian entertainment program, we had nothing to complain about.

The tapas/salad buffet was very clear. The meat was good. The service was really great. The Caipi tasted great. I found the narrow position of the tables annoying. That takes away the comfort. We were there in the week. There were few guests there. Parking is possible opposite the restaurant. There is a parking lot there.

No signage as to what was what. You had no opportunity to choose. You had to eat what came. I told them in a friendly manner when paying, which wasn't good, but it wasn't even close to being a courtesy. Once and never again.

The vegetarian selection was also huge. The skewers with meat and sausage were definitely more than enough in quantity, but a little different in quality. I thought the chorizo ​​was perfect, as was the lamb. The beef was a little too tough and too well done for most of us. Chicken was very good. The breaks with samba music and several cheerful dance performances with a samba dancer definitely lightened up the evening and contributed to an entertaining experience. The toilets were also very clean for a fully booked restaurant of this size. The service staff are all very friendly and quick. We had a great evening there and it certainly wasn't the last time 😃.

It was inedible. Food was massively oversalted, hot sauce tasted like warmed up vegetables. Hot? oops the cook forgot Beef was tough, pork neck raw. Unfortunately, the chicken was salty. There was no pork fillet or roast beef. After our complaint, the landlord completely freaks out. Insults his cook in the kitchen. He's totally freaking out. We left. It was unbelievable

We are really horrified: what has happened in the last six months? We were last there in April 24, before that at Christmas time 23. Pure enthusiasm! And now: where did the great, warm starter buffet go? The service is still very polite, nice and accommodating... but "all you can eat and drink" for just under 50€ without eat and drink?? Frightening, actually... there is an extreme price brake being applied (perhaps understandable, but then you should reconsider your offer). I am clearly against food wasting, but the service and the paid food are simply stopped? We were there at 7 p.m. and had reserved. After 8 p.m. there was simply nothing left apart from the cold buffet! When we asked, we were then provided with counted meat (pay attention to the store's concept, in my opinion it's not possible at all). Drinks were included in the price, arrived neglected or only as a reminder and then stale and not well chilled. Oh, I don't want to complain too much. But it just wasn't good at all and not what I know from my 2 previous visits. It's really, really a shame. Unfortunately we won't be coming back.

The place cards are older than the information on the website (incorrect prices/offers). The meat wasn't our thing at all. From our point of view, the quality wasn't that great and it was dry at times. We hardly took any of the side dishes, so we can't say anything about that. The antipasti/salad buffet is good. The beer was ok but there is still room for improvement. What was really tasty was the pineapple on a skewer with cinnamon. The location is quite nice. But the staff is very friendly.
