It was absolutely delicious, and the service was incredibly fast for a Sunday evening. The restaurant looks cozy, but takeout was also no problem. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely be back. :)

The Delphia Döner is anything but ordinary, but it tastes really good. For me, though, it's a far cry from a typical döner. And a little tip: eating it isn't easy and it's definitely a bit messy. I would eat it again if the portion were a bit bigger. For €11.50, you should get a bit more; for me, the price-to-quantity ratio just isn't right.

I ate a spicy doner kebab with cheese there for the first time today, so it had jalapeños on it. I have to say it tasted really good, but for the price of ten euros, I thought there could have been a bit more meat. And if they advertise it as spicy and say it has jalapeños on it, then they should actually put a few more jalapeños on it, because it wasn't that spicy. I thought it was okay and I would recommend it. But like I said, a little more meat and a bit more spice would be nice.

Up until now, we've always been very satisfied with the food. The doner kebab was always excellent. This time, we ordered a large portion of fries. I specifically asked for them to be nice and crispy. I have no idea what happened. Since I had to wait longer for my order than other customers, I assume the fries were forgotten. When we got home, it was pretty clear. The doner kebab, doner d'hlopha, and lahmacun were surprisingly cold, and the fries were surprisingly soggy and anything but crispy. They also didn't taste like they'd just changed the oil. We actually had to throw them away and drive back to Wambach Grill to get new fries. Nevertheless, I'm happy to give it 4 stars and will avoid ordering fries from this doner kebab shop in the future.

I ordered a Döner Delphia, but what arrived was a Cheese Delphia. When I mentioned it to the server, he said, "But you ordered a Döner Delphia." To which I replied, "Yes, but the ones in Mülheim and Dinslaken don't use that much cheese." The response was a provocative, "But you're here now, and this one's made with 80% cheese." They're trying to tell me that's "normal," but I've been eating it ever since Erhan reopened the shop in Mülheim, and I recently tried the one in Dinslaken, and it was exactly the same. Anyway, after that provocative remark, they quickly made the new "normal" döner, which I paid for myself. Customer service is worthless these days.

We used to love ordering from you. Back then, the meat was fresh and juicy, and the chicken was homemade, pre-cooked, and simply amazing. With our last order, the chicken was practically raw, and we even found a hair in our burger. Today, we thought, "Come on, maybe it just didn't go well," and decided to give it another try. BUT now the chicken is basically just pre-made nuggets from a Turkish takeout place, and they taste like soap in the burger. The patty tastes like old meat, and the burgers have gotten smaller overall. So, all in all, it's drastically worse; the quality is just gone. We won't be ordering from you again. What a shame...

Even after asking, unfortunately, no other size doner bread with a suitable filling was available 🤔. Simply fantastic! I went to Dönalden today and tried the burger – absolutely delicious! The meat was fresh and juicy, the ingredients were perfectly balanced, and the bun was wonderfully soft. Plus, the service was fast and friendly, and the place was very clean. The price-performance ratio is perfect. I'll definitely be back!

Unbelievable, and the reviews are fake. I was there two years ago with some colleagues. We waited a bit longer for our food, which took a while because it was Ramadan and lots of people were there to break their fast. That was fine, we wandered around for a bit and came back later. Then, half an hour after our food was supposed to be ready, the other cashier asked me if we had ordered anything. We said yes, we were waiting. The food had been ready for about half an hour and apparently got cold because they hadn't seen us. Okay, that can happen with all the hustle and bustle. The worst part was when the cashier yelled at me and claimed I was lying and hadn't been standing in front of the counter for a certain number of minutes, as if I had any right to lie so I'd get my food served cold. The food was generally mediocre, but the real kicker is that my original review from two years ago, which simply stated "Staff very unfriendly, food rather mediocre," was reported and deleted as "defamation." To make the place look better than it actually is, and so I could repost my review, they demanded proof from me, as if I had some kind of proof that I ate at this dump two years ago. I don't like badmouthing other people's businesses, but if they delete a review instead of offering an apology, they really deserve it. Therefore, it's impossible to know how many negative reviews have already been deleted and how accurate those reviews are. I had to write this from a different account.

I shared my impressions of this place some time ago – apparently, that first review has since been deactivated. It's a shame, because it simply described my experience honestly and objectively. Here it is, in a politically correct way: The doner kebab possessed the basic qualities required for its existence and generally fulfilled its intended purpose of tasting good, to my satisfaction. The price was always reasonable. The resulting price-performance ratio was, on the whole, satisfactory. The employee who served customers behaved in accordance with company policy and was a person with clear expectations. With payment, the purchase agreement was properly fulfilled, and I will likely no longer be a customer. I wish the doner kebab shop all the best for the future.

This was our second time here. We came all the way from Düsseldorf. It's a 30 km drive, after all. The food is extremely tasty, affordable, and quick. My highlight so far is the chicken burger. The fries are also delicious. The salad is also excellent. The staff are all very young and really friendly. Everything is halal. That's important to many people. There are a few seats inside. Not many... So far, we've been lucky to get a table. It's honestly worth it.

Bor I have to say Mülheim and Oberhausen really make more effort in terms of service, we were in Duisburg today but to be honest we were a bit disappointed, the cheese tasted completely different than usual this time and our takeaway food was just thrown into the bag with no love and was barely wrapped :(

Never again, only over my dead body. €9 Dönadelphia - flatbread with cheap Gouda cheese and leaf salad. They even scrimped on the cheapest rotisserie meat. The service was also completely lackluster, and we weren't served, despite the store being empty.

I visited the shop in October 2023 and was thrilled. Now I can only eat outside because the owner doesn't like my dog. I ate there three weeks ago with a visitor from Berlin, and we were thrilled with the large portion, and my visitor really enjoyed the falafel. I went there last night for kebabs and ordered a kebab with herb sauce. It felt like the portion was only half of what I got last time, and underneath the herb sauce was a red sauce that tasted very spicy. When I asked the waitress about it, she denied that it was spicy sauce. I don't drink alcohol, and I can certainly smell and distinguish it. I also think €7.50 for a small kebab is overpriced. Incidentally, I witnessed a man who described himself as a regular informing the waitress that the restaurant's quality had declined and that he only ordered his burger because a certain employee was there that day. Perhaps the manager should take some action in this regard! Unfortunately, Großenbaum is in the backwoods, but maybe I'll still find a better kebab!

I bought a kebab here yesterday, and the kebab vendor grabbed the tomatoes with his right hand to put them on my kebab. I found that a bit disgusting, even though he had a spoon available, which he didn't use. And they were chopped tomatoes. He took a handful and put it in the kebab wrapper. I wouldn't have eaten here anyway if Burak Döner hadn't been closed today. Ugh!
