Joe Peña’s is highly recommended! The food was incredibly delicious - fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned and authentically prepared. The cocktails were creative and super tasty. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, with a great Mexican flair. The service was very good - attentive, quick and there when you needed something. Special thanks to Nuri, who is a very important character in Peña's with his way. We will definitely come back and can only recommend it to everyone.

Better than some steak houses in Heilbronn

The soup was ok - and that's the only thing I liked... the food was very bland, the tortilla burrito with chicken was terrible, the tortilla was soaked with what's inside, the stuff inside was completely tasteless... another dish we ordered was similar. The corn on the cob was old, completely tasteless and impossible to eat. Overall very average. Nice place for a drink, but I won't come back for food.

The combination of elegant design and cozy lighting ensures that you immediately feel at home. The food was simply fantastic – a perfect mix of creativity and quality. Every dish was superbly prepared, with fresh ingredients and great attention to detail. The service also deserves high praise: friendly, attentive and yet unobtrusive. It seemed like the team had a perfect eye for the guests' needs. The bar is another highlight: the bartender makes the best cocktails in Heilbronn! Whether for a romantic dinner, an evening with friends or simply a drink at the bar - Joe Peñas is perfect for every occasion. We went to Joe Penas last night and it was amazing! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with beautiful, authentic Mexican decoration. The food was an absolute highlight. The tacos were fresh and perfectly seasoned, and the guacamole tasted like it had just been made. I can particularly recommend the enchiladas – a taste explosion! We were also impressed by the choice of drinks: the margarita was perfectly balanced, not too sweet and wonderfully refreshing. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive and made us feel welcome. Our waiter gave us great recommendations and listened to our requests. Price-performance is also great – absolutely appropriate for the quality and portions. We will definitely be back and recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves authentic, delicious Mexican food!

Eating out Mexican is always something special for me because I worked in Mexico for several weeks and have very fond memories. That's why I'm very critical when it comes to a Mexican restaurant. The ambience, the food, the happy hour😉 and above all the service are great here. You can certainly eat delicious food in many places in Heilbronn, but here you are very welcome, especially as a foreigner who doesn't know your way around. Everything was delicious, but this Crema Catalan blew me away😅. Definitely coming back!

The service staff is happy to accommodate special requests. 8/26/24 My favorite dish is no longer available, but the alternative was also very tasty. Changes to the menu were made without any problems. Very accommodating, friendly staff!

Location is good, But food is very expensive. For pieces of beef in sauce with some kidney beans, 2 medium quesadillas & small salad €24.5. Cocktails good when happy hour, otherwise 10-12€, like the competition.

Nice ambience, authentic music and decor, friendly service and good food. The portions are sufficient and the price-performance ratio is reasonable. Starting with Chip's & Dip's is recommended. There is something for every taste. Especially if you are a guest with several people. There was a bit too much sauce in the main course for my taste. I had the enchilads de pollo. This made the overall concept of the dish a bit muddy. Refried beans and guacamole, like cumin and coriander, are simply part of traditional Mexican cuisine. I would have liked a little more spice here. We will definitely visit Joe Peña's in Heilbronn again and are already looking forward to it! Thank you very much and keep it up 😉

Very good experience! The waitress attended to us in Spanish and was very attentive and friendly. We had some huge nachos and a plate of chimichanga, both very delicious. Keep in mind that it is a restaurant franchise and the food is not 100% homemade, but a very good option to satisfy your Mexican craving. At the end of the night there was a bachata session and we had a great time watching it, very good atmosphere!

The place is very nicely decorated. The menu is also nicely done but unfortunately there is far too much information. You have to read the story for every dish, it's a lot of text for a few dishes. Pictures of the food were also missing from the menu. The service was friendly, very confident and slightly impatient. The food was good. However, due to the high price considering the price/performance ratio with the additional menu, we will no longer visit this restaurant. This meal in the foreground cost around 22 euros.

It's well served and plentiful on the plate, also lovingly decorated - as we all know, the eye eats with us. Dedicated staff who care about the well-being of guests. Perfect location on "K3", with parking garage, centrally in the heart of Heilbronn. High prices - but worth it. Everything was rounded off with Coconut Kiss cocktails - simply delicious! Jor Peña's is the best Mexican around. We recommend!

The restaurant is located in the middle of Heilbronn at the beginning of the pedestrian zone in K3. There is a parking garage right next to it. The ambience and atmosphere is very nice. All employees are very friendly. We were served very well. The drinks menu and menu are impressive. It took us a little longer to get our bearings. The cocktails were very tasty and the food was great. We'd love to come back.

The restaurant looks very inviting. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, music and general volume make it very difficult to have a conversation. The food is very expensive for the quality. We ordered two ribeye steaks, which leave little room for interpretation of the cut, but we still received two completely different steaks in size and appearance. We had two meals and one fries, plus drinks for just under €100. Conclusion, the best investment was the tip for the nice staff. Maybe for cocktails, but nothing more.

The Joe Pena's cocktail is awesome. Absolutely great, including the preparation on site. Another great thing is the price during happy hour. Unfortunately, the composition remains a secret. The nachos with cheese gratin are also highly recommended. However, you should be very hungry for this.

The food: top Service: top Speed: really perfect when eating. The drinks sometimes stall a bit. I think it's nice that you don't have to wait forever until someone comes to the table and that you're asked more often if everything is okay. However, we could do a little better when it comes to communicating with each other. Drink orders sometimes take a little too long or are lost. I think a waiter/ress for certain tables would be advisable here. Big, really bad negative: Way way too loud and it wasn't full yet. You can barely understand the people sitting next to you at the table. This is very unpleasant and absolutely annoying, such a shame Actually a no go! A noise ceiling or half-high partition walls that absorb the sound would be an absolutely sensible and necessary investment. Nobody wants to go home with tinnitus after eating. Let alone the employees who have to do this every day. Here you can make improvements very clearly and quickly. Many plants absorb noise, 1.5 meter high partitions between the tables help, or the simplest and without losing a lot of space are partition walls. Yes, open concept is cool and trendy, but not without necessary measures. CONCLUSION: If you remove the noise, it's a really great restaurant. What offers good food at a good price-performance ratio, with a super nice staff, even if sometimes things don't go so perfectly, everyone tries hard to do their best and they are very accommodating We are all just human 😉 Yes, I think it's great and would love to come back. Great food just be careful with the portions

Unfortunately I had to withdraw my very good rating. On Sunday I was here with my husband and our friends, we raved about how great and friendly the service was there. Unfortunately that was nothing, nothing at all! Where has your friendly and competent staff gone? That's what an unwilling, listless and incompetent service was there for. A pity. We also wanted to order the fajitas speciale advertised on the internet for 16 euros, but here too there was none. Opened up plus paying for an extra ingredient, that was different on our last visit. Yes, internet is not binding, but please adjust the prices. If I pay 85 euros for 2 people, that must work better. It's a shame we were happy to come, but next time I'll think about it... (Even a free hot drink doesn't make up for the long waiting time when there are four of you and two are almost finished eating and the other two are only then served - especially since it was initially said that there would be a delicious dessert on the house, so we have ours paid) Conclusion: it's better to be friendly and accommodating again, honest about the prices, then you'll pay accordingly! the surcharge.

When you first enter, you wouldn't recognize this as a Mexican place unless you look at the seating and the plates. The menu is extremely confusing, I didn't know where the prices were when I first looked at it. Unfortunately there is too much text in the card. For example, why do I care if 2 people argue about 300 sauces or that a city is X meters above sea level? The prices are also too high. For a dish of 23.90€ I expect more than a small salad, a few beans and 5 fried chickens. The service was very good.

Nach der durchaus langen Umbauphase nun ein sehr geräumiges und schönes Lokal. Die Speisekarte ist Joe penas üblich mit vielen leckeren Sachen und auch vegetarischen Optionen ausgestattet. Manchmal dauert es ziemlich lang bis das Essen fertig ist - selbst wenn es nur etwas simples wie quesadillas ist. Hunde erlaubt 🤗

Das Essen war sehr lecker und das bei kurzer Wartezeit. Der ermöglichte Blick in die Küche schafft Vertrauen. Die Portionen sind ausreichend, die Preise gehoben, aber noch ok. Cocktails ebenfalls gut, zu empfehlen ist hier die happy hour. Am Service gibt es nichts zu beanstanden, alle freundlich und schnell. Einzig die verschiedenen bestellten Desserts waren allesamt nicht überzeugend, würden wir zu den Preisen nicht wieder bestellen. Das Ambiente ist modern mit mexikanischem Einschlag, die Musik könnte etwas leiser sein. Die Toiletten riechen leider sehr nach Kanalisation. Ansonsten aber alles gut und definitiv zu empfehlen, egal ob man nur gut essen möchte oder ob man sich durch die Cocktailkarte trinkt :-)

Meine Frau und ich waren heute das erste Mal in diesem mexikanischen Restaurant. Wir würden von einem sehr freundlichem, jungen Mann (der Chef) sehr freundlich empfangen und zu einem sehr gemütlichen Tisch geführt. Eine ebenfalls sehr freundliche junge Frau kümmerte sich rührend um uns und hat uns "Anfänger" toll beraten. Dann kam das Essen und wir waren begeistert. Ein sehr leckerer Geschmack und eine tolle Optik rundeten diesen tollen Abend ab. Wir sind begeistert und kommen definitiv wieder. Macht weiter so!! Liebe Grüße Kerstin und Marc
