Always great, especially after the renovation it's even more comfortable. The burgers and salads are always great and the staff are always super friendly. Absolutely top and highly recommended.

We knew Jim Block from Wilmersdorfer Str. in Berlin. We ate there for the first time years ago and loved it. And then again and again with pleasure. Today we went to JB's bikini house. We had a Philly cheesesteak with cucumber salad and regular fries. Then another JB Regional with sweet potato fries. According to my friend, the JB Regional was good. The sweet potato fries were sticky. The normal fries were also borderline bad. But the highlight was the Philly Cheesesteak. Subtly tough leftover meat, almost no hint of spiciness, the roll is really like a sponge. Cucumber salad? Little joke. A mini container with literally 4 cucumber slices! Including two “Fritz drinks” €41. I wouldn't say anything about the price if the food had been top. But people, that's not possible. Nevertheless: The staff was friendly, although they stopped listening when I pointed out the problems in a really friendly way. BUT: If you ever go out to eat there and something is wrong, let us know straight away - they want to improve it straight away! For us it was initially the last time. But mainly because we know it better from back then. Too bad JB! :-(

Everything is very clean, very tasty burger variations, the little brother of the Blockhouse (which is right over there), food is freshly made and comes quickly, generally not cheap but of quality. The patties could be a bit softer. Very central between the zoo and Breitscheidplatz, right next to the ZooPalast cinema!

We were there just after 10pm on a Friday evening. It was very empty, the food was prepared quickly and, as always, it tasted very good.

It's a shame that the ordering terminal is not suitable for wheelchair users. They are way too high and you can't touch everything on the touchscreen because you can't reach it.

I haven't experienced anything so unfriendly towards suppliers in a long time, the tattooed woman simply says to me seriously, "You can also say hello." The worst. The store is under construction, and they are selling mini burgers outdoors, and it's been a while since I had eaten them, so I just wanted to eat them. If only "Jim Block" wasn't as greedy as so many others... The burgers themselves are good, but over the course of several years you notice that sales and profit optimization are being carried out here. The prices are now very high, and the quality of the burger buns and garlic bread has decreased, both tastefully and noticeably. The location probably only works because it is in a tourist center next to other very expensive locations and therefore looks good in comparison. The previous Wilmersdorfer Straße location was initially reduced in size and then closed completely for economic reasons. I rarely go to the Zoo location anymore because of the now overpriced prices. It's a shame that what is actually a very good concept that has worked for a very long time is thrown out of balance by the greed for more sales and thus alienates long-time regular customers who actually supported the concept. Because once the customer is gone, he stays gone.

The burger was very tasty and I can recommend the restaurant to everyone. The toilets were not clean and there were “skid marks” on the toilet seats in both toilets. The toilets here need to be cleaned more often.

You can order at the terminal or at the front counter, great. The selection is good and varied. You can also top the burger individually or leave out the ingredients. You will then be given a Berlin street or place to pick up. This is then announced loudly. We found that very annoying, it's better not to sit close to the food counter! A display board would make dining on site more relaxing. The burgers were very good, fresh and hot too. I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant during my first visit. The employee who took my order was quite unfriendly and seemed rude. Despite clearly specifying that we wanted two vegetarian JB Champignons and one JB Hamburger with alternative meat, we were given the wrong order with meat instead. Overall, the service was lacking and it was a regrettable experience. On a positive note, we did enjoy the taste of the two JB Champignons.

I ordered the JB Cheese as a menu. You are asked far too many questions at the counter, all of which are intended to make you leave even more money. At the end I was surprised to find out that I had to pay 80 cents for ketchup with the fries. When I expressed my displeasure, I wasn't even looked at and another colleague acted as if she didn't even work there and that I should contact another employee. The burger itself is okay, but nothing special. But particularly expensive. No recommendation.

This community store is an absolute recommendation! The prices are rather high, but the quality is really impressive. The mayonnaise is the best I've ever eaten. But I would like a halloumi citizen as a vegetarian option. The patties are also very good! The best option for a fast food shop at the zoo.

I had the vegetarian beef burger and was disappointed. It was too salty for me and otherwise pretty bland. Generally more expensive than other fast food chains, but also plates instead of cardboard boxes, etc. The employees were very friendly and helpful.

Fast food in the higher price segment! I've been craving the Philly cheesesteak for weeks, so I treated myself to it. I have to say I expected a little more! The taste didn't blow me away, it was in the 'very okay!' category. However, the ingredients were very good, seemed fresh and high quality. The pickles served with it could easily have double the amount! The service was very nice, the glass kitchen is well-rounded and the atmosphere is quite cozy, you can easily spend a whole hour here. I'll give a burger another chance at some point! 3.5 stars from me!

What a disappointment... Ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and received the sad thing shown in the photo. Compare that to the ads; it's ridiculous! The taste was alright but the portion was half of what I was expecting and the bin was super bland and so soft that it couldn't hold the filling. For 13,90€ I'd rather have 2,5 Döner with extra cheese and no salad. Will never order again...

I've been an absolute fan since my first burger at Jim Block in Hamburg 11 years ago. The quality is top in all branches. When we visited yesterday, the store was super clean and the staff was very friendly. For two menus with extras the price was 34 euros. We didn't have to wait long and the burgers were plentiful, warm and tasty. The bread is grenade as always. Toilets very clean.

I'm torn... I was super happy when I saw that you can now order from Jim Block via Uber Eats, and now I feel somewhat fooled 😬 So I definitely see positive things in the order: - Delivery was okay quick (I think 45 minutes or so) - Sweet potato fries were great (not always guaranteed when delivered) - Price/performance also difficult, as the portion was super small, but at least delicious - the garlic bread was also super tasty and fresh - the salad with patty was well received by my husband Not nice: - the baked potato was already very, very dry/as if it had been lying around for too long (should be my main course together with the grilled vegetables) - the grilled vegetables... phew... I love that at Block House, I know the portion size... what was going on here? The vegetables weighed less than 80 grams (!) without paper and some of them were badly burned. 80 grams - 5.40 euros. Vegetables with peppers, red onion, beans and mushrooms. Really? This was sold as a side dish, who is this supposed to be a side dish for? I know from the restaurant that the portion is twice as big. I think the picture shows clearly what I mean by “it almost makes you feel like you’re being made fun of”. So... I'm undecided. Was that bad luck? Were the vegetables empty? Do they always do it like that? Food was way too expensive for what it was. Burger was really small. Salad was horrid. Save your money and go somewhere else. Burgermeister and Risa are nearby and more worth it.

Of course, the offerings for vegetarians or vegans at such chains are typically rather sparse, but it's nice that you can go there with several people and there is something for everyone. This restaurant was clean, bright and pleasantly quiet. But it was only half full. Tables were also available for larger groups. Funnily enough, the orders had Berlin street names, which I only discovered upon closer inspection on the receipt, namely when "Mehrower Allee" was loudly shouted... The vegan mushroom burger could only be eaten with cutlery because it was far too soft. The roasted mushrooms tasted very good. The vegan patty would have cost two euros extra and would have been similar to a meat patty. The menu with a sauce already cost more than 15 euros and my pain threshold was reached. Overall the tray was very neat and appetizing to look at.

In addition, every burger, or the meat in the burgers, can simply be replaced with vegetarian meat. 5/5 stars! This restaurant deserves it!!!

Mittlerweile muss man fast von Luxus-Burgern sprechen! Ich bin früher gern hier her gekommen. Klar, die Menüs waren immer schon teurer als bei McDonald’s oder Burger King. Aber die Qualität war auch eine Andere. Ich war jedoch leicht geschockt, als ich im frühen Januar '24 wieder mal dort war: Das günstigste Menü startet bei fast 13€! Und wenn man doch ein wenig mehr als nur einen ordinären Cheeseburger verzehren will, landet man auch schnell mal bei 15-18€, für EIN Menü wohlgemerkt. So bin ich beim Kids-Burger-essen letztlich zu dem Schluss gekommen, dass ich meinen Chef um eine 40%-ige Gehaltserhöhung bitten muss, um noch in der Lage zu sein, hier des Öfteren einzukehren. Schade, denn die Qualität der Burger ist überdurchschnittlich gut, auch das Ambiente stimmt. Nur der Preis ist meines Erachtens nicht mehr gerechtfertigt.

Super leckere Auswahl an unterschiedlichsten Burgern. Jeder Burger kann individuell noch mal gepimpt werden. Im Menü als Beilage das leckere Knoblauchbrot vom Blockhouse oder Pommes. Alternativ gibt es auch die leckere Bakartoffel. Hilight auch der Bestellname, der immer eine Straße oder ein Platz in Berlin ist. Bin nur nicht sicher, ob alle Touristen das verstehen. 😀 Ich komme wieder und bringe wieder welche mit.

Richtig leckere Burger. Große Auswahl an Sidings, Soßen und Extras. Von der Bestellung bis hin zum Essen dauert es nicht lange. Ein Mix aus Fastfood und Restaurant. Sehr gut.

Meine Lieblingsfiliale von Jim Block. Leckere Burger aber auch sonst eine große Auswahl. Dazu eine gemütliche Atmosphäre in einem guten Umfeld. Die Bestell Terminals haben das schlange stehen zu den Stoßzeiten auch erheblich reduziert.

Wir kennen Jim Block aus Hamburg , deshalb kann man da nix falsch machen. Alles in Ordnung

Ich finde es a) schade, dass es keinen Pork Bacon mehr gibt. Beef Bacon ist nicht das selbe. Und anstatt es vllt wegen muslimischen Mitmenschen nur auf Beef umzustellen, wie wäre es mit CoExistens von beidem? Und ich verstehe, dass das Essen ausgerufen wird, aber über meinem Essen? Der Mensch neigt beim reden immer zum spucken. Das möchte ich nicht auf dem Essen. Und wer Pflaster am Finger hat sollte Handschuhe tragen beim anfassen der Teller. Danke sehr

Beef really good fries really good. Had a Philadelphia Bun. Bun was like from the microwave. Orderd and paid on the display. Ordered a Menu and asked for ketchup. was denied with the comment I have to order it again at the pos . Feels really premium when I ordered only one Philly as menu and two soft drinks for over 20€

Nicht zu empfehlen. Schlechter und teurer als Konkurrenz im gleichen Segment. Die Buns sind so trocken, dass eigentlich man auch Krümmel daraus machen kann. Wo war die Soße? Das Fleisch beim philysandwich war gut, beim anderen Burger war es drei mal gestorben, so trocken war es. Pommes in Ordnung, wobei ich Erdnuss schmeckte, da wohl Erdnussöl benutzt wird? Fanta ist schrecklich und in diesem Preissegment Sirup zu benutzen NO GO. Ich muss sagen dafuer 40 Euro zu verlangen grenzt an Unverschämtheit und werde nie wieder dort essen. Service gibt es nicht, Ambiente ist gut.

I never tried this place before so I gave it a shot. I had the Philly Cheesesteak. It was okay. The meat was too chewy for my liking. The fries were good. The ambiance overall was nice. It was a Thursday so it wasn’t crowded. The guy taking orders at the counter was really nice and friendly.

Loved the philly cheesesteak but the portion was a bit small… the burger is fine, fries and sauces were decent. Got the cheesesteak menu, burger and fries paid around 40€. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, service was also okay 👍 would come for the cheesesteak for sure.

Un posto carino con personale gentile e soprattutto buon cibo. Vicino ad una stazione metro e alla chiesa della memoria questo locale specializzato in hamburger è una ottima soluzione per mangiare, anche con bambini piccoli perché lo spazio è adeguato. Noi abbiamo preso diversi tipi di panini e ci sono piaciuti molto tutti. I prezzi sono moderati. Approvato!

Wir essen immer vor Ort, da die Burger sehr mächtig sind, unterwegs wäre es etwas problematisch. Im Restaurant ist Selbstbedienung, immer nett und man muss nie lange warten. Ich komme schon seit Jahren hierher und bin immer zufrieden. Für das Ambiente nur 3 Sterne, weil ich finde die Tische könnten etwas abgeteilter stehen, sodass man mehr Privatsphäre hat. Aber für ein schnelles Essen ist es okay.

Ich bin seit vielen Jahren mehr oder weniger regelmäßig Gast bei „Block House“ und hatte bisher noch nie Anlass und Gelegenheit bei „JB“ zu essen - bis heute. Man merkt auch bei „JB“ die Tugenden der Familie Block: Das Restaurant ist ordentlich, die Auswahl der Gerichte überschaubar, aber dafür wohl ausgewählt und stets steht der Gast im Mittelpunkt. Sehr angenehm ist aufgefallen, dass das Personal hier genauso freundlich und zuvorkommend ist wie in jedem Block-House, das ich bisher besucht habe. Die Speisen werden auf Porzellan serviert, Getränke im Glas. Die Qualität der Burger und auch der Beilagen war sehr gut, geschmacklich gut gewürzt und stimmig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden „JB“ zukünftig- wenn auch eher in der norddeutschen Heimat - häufiger einen Besuch abstatten.

Service war gut.... Burger eher trocken und dafür zu teuer.

Essen ist gut und lecker. Ds Ambiente ist zweckmäßig / pflegeleicht, aber auch nict sonderlich einladend oder gemütlich. Die Tische sind am Boden fest, so das man diese bei einer größeren Gruppe (über 4) nich zusammen schieben könnte, da muss man glück haben einen der großen Tische zu bekommen. Schön das es aber immer sauber ist.

Prima Burgerladen mit ausgesprochen guter Qualität und auch Auswahl. Kein Vergleich zu den Burgerketten... Freundliches Personal

My children had really liked the Kid's Menu, especially the little gift. They wanted to eat there again, so we had come back the next day.

Im Block House gibt es für jeden Fleischliebhaber etwas Feines zur Auswahl... Der Service ist stets freundlich und am aufmerksam... Jederzeit wieder...

It was pricey for what you get. And the burgers where not special, I ordered bbq burger and it was super salty.
