We ordered the cheeseburger meal three times and weren't disappointed. The fries were a little undercooked, but the burger meat was high quality! There weren't any special features, but it wasn't the right meal for that anyway. At around €13, the portions were a bit small, but the taste was excellent!

After years of patronage, this was very disappointing. The food was cold, and the waitress who took our order reacted very unprofessionally! It's a shame because we traditionally ate there every time we visited Kurfürstendamm. Because of this poor response, we won't be coming back. There's always a reason to complain about food, and one should be able to explain things reasonably. It was very unprofessional to make the customer feel uncomfortable, and unfortunately, we didn't get a refund. Very bad!

Here you can always get delicious burgers and great fries. The price is absolutely justified for the high quality, and unlike the competition, you stay full for a long time!

We were here recently, and I ordered a chicken burger, not for the first time. This time, unfortunately, the chicken patty was very slimy, sinewy, and undercooked. I sent it back, and the friendly staff explained that they now use chicken from the shoulder instead of the breast, and that several customers had already complained about the slimy texture. As an apology, I received a small beef burger of my choice as a replacement. We also had a classic beef burger, which was perfectly fine.

We're from Hamburg and went there for dinner today with several friends. It was very good and the staff were very friendly.

We ate here again today and I can say that from good day to goodbye it was absolutely fantastic! The food is incredibly delicious, from the burgers to the fries. We'd love to come back!

This is the worst of the worst... incredibly slow... and incredibly unfriendly staff. Maybe they should take some etiquette lessons.

We usually like coming here and trust the usual standards. Our experience on Saturday, September 20, 2025, was disastrous; three people had stomach upsets. At these prices, you'd expect at least a fresh meal. The quality has declined drastically, which is a real shame. The second-to-last time, we ordered a long burger (the new burgers) for just under €16. The bread was squashed and impossible to eat. Unfortunately, that's the last time for a while.

The food here is Amazing !!! After so many years , everytime I spend my time in Berlin working hard ,in my breaks...I run to JB Burger !! Because I like it fresh made and love the location at Bikini!!! Is my ritual after painting!! Without exaggeration, JB Burger has the best Burgers and menu !! After many years ,I still didn't found a better Burger in US or Europe ...it s my thing! And the service is always excellent with Perfect Curated Music and nice people !! Is basically what i listen in my studio when I paint !! Ho is choosing music at JB has excellent taste in music! Since years they keep the line !! All that is intentional!! Plus ..the fries and that mayo !!! So , I pray that JB BURGER will last long and survive the future financial storms !! 🍀🦾🍔♥️

Jim Block, a name synonymous with quality burgers in Germany, finally had my attention. After hearing numerous positive reviews, I was eager to experience their take on the classic hamburger.The burger itself. Visually, it’s appealing, a well-stacked patty nestled between soft, inviting buns. The combination I opted for with cheese and jalapeños was great. The flavor profile was indeed well-balanced. The cheese was gooey and complemented the jalapeños perfectly, providing a satisfying level of heat without being overwhelming. The soft buns were a highlight.However, the patty, unfortunately, fell slightly short. While the flavor was good, the texture was a bit too chewy and, surprisingly, a little dry. The front-of-house staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They greeted customers with genuine smiles and were helpful in explaining the menu options

First of all the service was spectacular, we came in there 8 teenagers and the lady who took our order was so patient and sweet (an actual angel), not only that but the food was absolutely incredible and juicy, the burgers were simply amazing and so fulling. 5/5 would totally recommend and come here again

The original from Hamburg is also gaining popularity in the capital. At the JB Bikini restaurant, I initially liked the product advice. So, instead of a JB Cheese with two patties, I chose one with a 180g organic patty from Northern Germany. According to the chef/salesperson, this was the best texture. And it was. I've noticed for a long time that I love burgers – with a bun, patty, tomato, cheese, and lettuce. The vegetables on the menu were also very tasty. I'd be happy to go again.

I love Jim Block. I'm a regular customer! I'm always happy with the food quality at Jim Block. The portion size and quality are, in my opinion, excellent. Even though they updated the menu, it hasn't reduced the quantity or quality of the food. in fact, it might even be better now.

The taste is really good. But the price/performance ratio is completely out of whack here. Delivery takes too long, and the portions are way too small. I paid €20 for a cheeseburger with a (mini!!) portion of sweet potato fries, and I didn't really feel full at the end. As if that wasn't enough, I waited 40 minutes for the delivery, and the food was practically cold. What a shame.

5 stars for the sauces. Mixing up JB sauce and Tomato sauce and the taste is to my liking. The service is very poor. How come they still need to shout out in German when the orders are ready, it’s noisy and tourists dont understand you.

Bring your own ketchup.. or buy it here for 80 cents!!! And no, even if you get a full meal (over 70€ total..) with fries, those greedy people sell you the ketchup separately. The mushroom burger is delicious though. Still the ketchup thing is plain nasty.

After a long time I visited this area again, to see Bikini. Great.

I love the veggie burgers, the cozy atmosphere (for a burger joint), the porcelain plates and cutlery, and the friendly service. The price-performance ratio is okay in my opinion. One minor criticism: the chili cheese sauce is always served cold in a small bowl on the tray. Warmed or hot, the sauce would be much better and wouldn't cool the fries so much. The sauce isn't easy to scoop out of the bowl with the available cutlery; a wider bowl or a smaller spoon would be better.

This is probably my favorite of all the places I've visited. It's delicious and incredible to watch.

After a long day, I finally went there to treat myself to a Philly cheesesteak, but I was disappointed by its mediocrity. The bread was very German and thin (not like in America or anything like that) and couldn't bear the weight of the steak slices and cheese sauce. It was completely cut through in the middle, so you'd have to cut it with a fork and knife like in a fine dining restaurant. For the price of a meal of around 20 euros, it was overpriced given the amount. The meat was okay, nothing special, and the fries were thin and got cold quickly. There were only 5 slices of cucumber. It just made me sad. I wouldn't order it again in the future.

Bad experience at Jim Block – customers are being duped I ordered a double cheeseburger meal for €13 and changed it to a 160g regional patty for an additional €3 – but I only got a plain cheeseburger with the 160g patty. The bill clearly stated "Double Cheeseburger," so I addressed it directly. But instead of admitting the obvious mistake, they simply brushed it off. This not only seems careless, but also like deliberate deception. They sell me something expensive, but then deliver less – and apparently hope I won't notice. This is brazen and unacceptable. For a restaurant that advertises quality and transparency, this behavior is absolutely disappointing. This isn't just about a missing patty, but about a lack of service, a lack of honesty, and a lack of respect for the customer. I won't be going to a place like this again.

This place really isn’t vegan-friendly! I used to love coming here before I went vegan, but their vegan patty is absolutely dreadful – easily the worst vegan burger I’ve ever had. It’s almost as if they’re punishing vegans on purpose! I'll never come again!

A chain restaurant with high prices and mediocre quality. We've been here several times because it's conveniently located near the zoo, and my wife is a fan of fried mushrooms. The last two times, however, the burgers were cold, and the vegetarian patty remains inedible. Although the burgers were remade after a complaint, the burgers were replaced with a different one than the one ordered. Unfortunately, the prices are far too high for the poor quality. The only thing you can safely order is the garlic bread, which tastes like it does at the Block House.

For me, it's number one when it comes to burgers. Even Burgermeister can't compete. The price-performance ratio is simply perfect. If you want that certain something, order regional for an extra €4, but the beef is worth it for its excellent taste.

Jim Block has a very good American menu. The burgers are very tasty and taste like the burgers in an American diner. The service was quick and friendly, the ambience is OK both inside and out. The price-performance ratio is very good. There is homemade ketchup and mayonnaise. The taste of the food is very harmonious and fresh. Absolute recommendation to “real American burger” fans.

One thing I found disappointing was that they don’t offer tap water—even when you’re ordering two burgers and a 0.5L cola. That felt a bit unreasonable.

Vegan burger with pumpkin chia seeds patty was tasty - but not like the King. Ketchup with the fries was cool, salad was good and the sauce was also vegan.

I give a 1 because I can't give a 0 we had to wait 30 minutes to get 1 burger and had to wait 1 hour for fries it's ridiculous it's also super expensive and the staff laughs at me when I say something

Bad service, of no use here. Burger was cold and poorly presented. I had to wait a long time for 1 simple burger, which then turned out to be disappointed. The service here is rude. They just laugh at their customers here when they have a disability or condition (autism...).

One of the best burgers I have had in a looong time and for a fast food restaurant it’s really great. I personally think the whole idea is great Han the food is amazing.

So I ate at Jim Block's for the first time and was very surprised, the service was typically very cold in Berlin, but that's friendly by Berlin standards. The food was a bit too cold, so I would have liked more heat, but the taste and quality were really good and the overall package was really tasty. The decor was very clean and typically Nordic, I'll be back, I liked it.

Chicago Chilieese menu ordered today, 04/22/25. First I forgot ketchup and mayonnaise and then realized that the cucumber salad consisted of 5 slices of cucumber with water. Can't keep up with Jim Block in Hamburg. Unfortunately, as a Berliner, I have to say this. So I imagine at least a dressing for a cucumber salad. But unpeeled thick slices of cucumber in water with some dry herb is not a salad. It was more like a piece of natural cucumber. I wanted to go in and ask if they were kidding me. In my eyes, it was cheeky and I would probably have burst.

Unpleasant service, which is hilarious for a fast casual restaurant. Its quite easily avoidable by training staff for professionalism but very little to be found here. overly rude and inattentive. The corpulent middle aged blond german woman really ought to be dismissed for how she discriminatorily profiled the young out of europe couple in front of me. It made me very uncomfortable, especially after she sought approval for her out of order behavior. Unlucky for me for having to order next, all i could do was smile irritatedly to her attempts at charged jokes aiming at the young couple and be confused by the familiarity i was supposed to have with her for being a fellow blonde i guess who happen to have a similar complexion? Wont be visiting there again till the place has its staff in order.

The truffle mayonnaise is very tasty. The Coleslow salad was very good. It tasted fresh, like cabbage and cream and luckily not like brandy vinegar. Highly recommended! The meatless citizen is good, looks and feels like meat, but something is missing in terms of taste. The beef burger was delicious and tasted good and juicy. Speaking of taste: Unfortunately, the citizens were overall over-seasoned and the sweet potato fries were very salty. Maybe the chef is in love?

Me and my friends came here while we were staying in Berlin and it has changed us, it's been 3 months since we came here and I am still seeing the Philly cheesesteak in my dreams. The portion sizes and quality are so decent for the price, probably the best money I spent in Berlin. I ordered 3 sachets of mayonnaise because I'm used to the tiny pitiful amounts of mayonnaise you get in the UK just to be given an actual decent amount in each packet. Staff were very friendly despite me and my friends speaking no German. The food was just delicious and me and my friends have been debating going back to Berlin just to eat at this place again, my only complaint would be I wish they sold larger amounts of water cause I did have to buy multiple of the little glass bottles of water with every meal

We treated ourselves to a burger here before the cinema. These were great and freshly prepared. This is something completely different compared to Meckes! And the price is comparable. A fast food restaurant, clean and good. For me, significantly better than KFC.

Nothing really special in terms of burgers and fries. But it's not easy to find in Berlin, as the competition from individual burger shops is extremely high. It's hard for a chain to keep up with that. The cheeseburger (with extra jalapenos) was juicy and tasty. The price is relatively high, but to be fair it has to be mentioned that there are proper dishes and also appropriate portions of ketchup. Screen order system and quick, fresh preparation. Meat and vegetarian versions available.

Not good in taste. It said cucumber salad but please, do you call that cucumber salad? 3 slices of cucumber? You can save yourself that. And the sweet potato fries were flabby and no salt at all. Every hobby cook knows that they have to be nice and brown and, well, salt. Wouldn't come back again.

We knew Jim Block from Wilmersdorfer Str. in Berlin. We ate there for the first time years ago and loved it. And then again and again with pleasure. Today we went to JB's bikini house. We had a Philly cheesesteak with cucumber salad and regular fries. Then another JB Regional with sweet potato fries. According to my friend, the JB Regional was good. The sweet potato fries were sticky. The normal fries were also borderline bad. But the highlight was the Philly cheesesteak. Subtly tough leftover meat, almost no hint of spiciness, the roll is really like a sponge. Cucumber salad? Little joke. A mini container with literally 4 cucumber slices! Including two “Fritz drinks” €41. I wouldn't say anything about the price if the food had been top. But people, that's not possible. Nevertheless: The staff was friendly, although they stopped listening when I pointed out the problems in a really friendly way. BUT: If you ever go out to eat there and something is wrong, let us know straight away - they want to improve it straight away! For us it was initially the last time. But mainly because we know it better from back then. Too bad JB! :-(

Everything is very clean, very tasty burger variations, the little brother of the Blockhouse (which is right over there), food is freshly made and comes quickly, generally not cheap but of quality. The patties could be a bit softer. Very central between the zoo and Breitscheidplatz, right next to the ZooPalast cinema!

It's a shame that the ordering terminal is not suitable for wheelchair users. They are way too high and you can't touch everything on the touchscreen because you can't reach it.

They dont have coke zero. The burger is excellent but why wouldn’t you have coke zero to offer to your customers?

If only "Jim Block" wasn't as greedy as so many others... The burgers themselves are good, but over the course of several years you notice that sales and profit optimization are being carried out here. The prices are now very high, and the quality of the burger buns and garlic bread has decreased, both tastefully and noticeably. The location probably only works because it is in a tourist center next to other very expensive locations and therefore looks good in comparison. The previous Wilmersdorfer Straße location was initially reduced in size and then closed completely for economic reasons. I rarely go to the Zoo location anymore because of the now overpriced prices. It's a shame that what is actually a very good concept that has worked for a very long time is thrown out of balance by the greed for more sales and thus alienates long-time regular customers who actually supported the concept. Because once the customer is gone, he stays gone.

You can order at the terminal or at the front counter, great. The selection is good and varied. You can also top the burger individually or leave out the ingredients. I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant during my first visit. The employee who took my order was quite unfriendly and seemed rude. Despite clearly specifying that we wanted two vegetarian JB Champignons and one JB Hamburger with alternative meat, we were given the wrong order with meat instead. Overall, the service was lacking and it was a regrettable experience. On a positive note, we did enjoy the taste of the two JB Champignons.
