Very good food more than enough friendly service

I attended the Elvis 90th birthday concert on January 25th, 2025 in the Grafenwöhrer Stadthalle. That's why I booked 2 nights at the Hotel - Gasthof "Zum Stich`n" to take a look at Grafenwöhr in peace and quiet. The hotel offered me online check-in via email, which I of course took advantage of. When I arrived on Friday afternoon, everything was already prepared. The friendly and nice lady at the reception knew who I was as soon as I entered and already had the key card ready for me. I stayed in the guest house directly opposite the hotel. You had to enter the guest house with your key card. For 80 euros a night with breakfast I got a really nice room. Everything was super clean throughout the guest house. The mattress had great springiness. The TV was huge and the selection of TV and radio programs was great. I even had a view of the town hall from my room. What should be mentioned, the guest house does not have an elevator. So if necessary, ask for a room on the ground floor, just as a small note. In the evening I tried the restaurant straight away. The menu offers a wide selection of delicious food. Plus the many types of beer. I chose the Cordon Bleu for 17 euros and it was pure enjoyment. The meat is totally fluffy, soft and tender. The side salad actually made me full on its own. And I followed the waiter's recommendation and tried the garlic mayo with the fries. Unfortunately I didn't get to try the Angus beef burger the next day because I had to go to the concert. The breakfast offers everything you need to start the day. There was always variety on the two days I was there. The small fried Vienna sausages were very tasty, as were the mini meatballs. The staff in the guest house is also absolutely top. What I did miss would have been a drinks machine, I couldn't find one in the house. But the guesthouse is so big, maybe I should have just asked. I can only warmly recommend the hotel and the inn!
