Service and ambience are okay as far as a train station snack bar goes. Basically, I really like Lebanese and oriental cuisine. Here my companion and I were completely disappointed! We had the vegetarian "cedar plate" where neither the tabbouleh nor the moutabel were at all edible. The tabbouleh tasted strongly of vinegar (probably to extend its shelf life), the moutabel should perhaps have tasted distinctly smoky, but was simply unbearably bitter and therefore not edible. The Houmous was also unexpectedly bitter in taste and hardly edible. The falafel lacked any kind of dip and not only were they extremely dry, they looked like ready-made products. There was no hint of herbs in the falafel. Overall, the shawarma plate was significantly too small for the price. The chicken meat was poorly seasoned and the "pieces" on my plate were more reminiscent of chicken kebab from the kebab shop. The garlic dip was the best part of the dish because the rice unfortunately had an unbearable bitter taste. Here, too, it is difficult to explain where the bitter taste came from. To be honest, I waited until the recession because I wasn't sure we'd be miserable, but we both tolerated the food well. Nevertheless, it was our last visit and there are much better addresses for oriental dishes in Potsdam. The prices are too high for the portion sizes offered, even though the taste is good, but given the taste disaster, they are absolutely outrageous!

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant. The food did not meet expectations at all. The falafel dürüm had a very unpleasant, almost unbearable smell that made the whole thing inedible. We didn't even manage to take a bite. The meat was obviously not fresh and left a bad impression. The lentil soup was very over-seasoned and had a bitter aftertaste that was almost unbearable. For the price I expected much more. I'm sorry, but I was really disappointed here. Besides, you yourself noticed, and the woman laughed, that it was very disrespectful.

Very nice restaurant. The staff are very friendly and always ask if anything is missing. Very large selection of vegan dishes, I could hardly decide what to eat now. The restaurant is also beautifully decorated and the food was delicious! Always happy again. Only recommended!

I wanted to try it because I saw many positive reviews. Unfortunately, it was not good for me. I think the staff were not welcoming, not even a smile! The shawrma I had was warm which is nice but they added froes to it which was not well done and full of oil. It tasted like these fries were re put into oil to heat.

The WORST food I have ever eaten in my life. (I have a lot of experience with Arabic cuisine and know exactly what good food should taste like.) Here are the reasons for my rating: 1. Very expensive and small portions. 2. The food was so greasy that the oil pooled on the plate. 3. The falafel had a bitter and strange taste. 4. Both of our dishes were cold and dry. 5. For a salad you just get a bunch of iceberg lettuce, without any spices or sauce. 6. In general everything was unseasoned and tasteless. So if you are reading this review, better stay away as it won't be a good experience. For this price you can get much better food nearby.

My absolute favorite falafel in Potsdam. Right in the main train station Passagen opposite the UCI Luxe. In addition to the food, absolutely great people!! Prices are really great compared to other places in Potsdam. But the atmosphere here is unique! ❤️💯

The food was very tasty and also inexpensive. You have to order at the counter, there are no menus... you have to pick up the food yourself and it is not brought to the table. A plate would have been good with the wrap. The fries were perfect and so was the crispy chicken, well crispy and juicy on the inside. I would recommend it as a comparatively more upscale restaurant in the train station; you could have a good meal here before or after a movie date.

Super fresh. Extremely delicious. Great couple who run the store. If you want to open a second shop, come to Waldstadt, there are only two really bad kebabs in the area. The restaurant “zur Luise” has been empty for several months and should have enough space and has been recently renovated.

BETTER LEAVE IT!!! You can't be even less "warm" 😅! I still gave the food (falafel in bread) 2 stars because the two falafel balls had a good taste. Otherwise nothing was as described. The bread only contained the two falafels, some iceberg lettuce, radish and cucumber (which I had to ask for separately), I didn't want tomatoes. The price at €5 is also absolutely not appropriate!

Die Falafel waren vorgebacken, vollgesogen mit Fett, schmeckten widerlich gewürzt und leicht angebrannt. Das ist weder libanesisch noch sonst etwas sondern einfach nur miserabel. Nie, nie wieder.

The owner said we should leave a good review, but in return he gave me 4 mini “pizzas” without even seeing the proof of the review. (Mega nice) My girlfriend has to eat gluten-free, which is usually a difficulty, but here the owner was really friendly and helped us out! The food is bomb, next time I'm in Potsdam I'll go there again.

First, you should carefully check the price as they make mistakes in the past. Bad service: we ordered Nr. 34 (16 €) as the amount is already enough for two of us, but they refused to give an empty plate, the reason we received is: we could only get an empty plate if we order another dish, which is very disappointing and confusing.

Nice go to lunch at the potsdam train station. The serving were huge. I ordered the cedar teller and really like the grilled vegetable (cauliflower, zucchini , eggplant)

The staff are very nice and the ambience is very pleasant and the seats are comfortable. Unfortunately there was very little sauce on the shawarma and it was a bit dry Edit: On my second visit, I asked for a little more garlic dip and the employee was very nice and fulfilled my request. This time the shawarma was even better than last time and I will definitely come back and try the other dishes.

One of the best Lebanese traditional food in Germany, decorations are amazing, customer service excellent,but the aroma of the food and the perfection of all his dishes is out of this world , I can't say other than thank you very much you deserve every penny . I had to spend some time at the train station to be picked up. I was just really hungry after a visit to the doctor. Due to my curiosity, I visited this location. It was a really good decision. Super comfortable velvet-covered upholstered furniture. A clear and understandable menu helped me reach my goal. So I ordered a Schwarma plate. It was just really good. It was very delicious with all the spices. Plus fresh mint. My wife just said, “Wow, that looks cool!” See you next time.

I had to give one star because I can't give zero. Bad service, unfriendly employees. The quality of the food was terrible, the meat had a strange taste so I couldn't eat my snack. terrible.

I ate there today with my father and it was simply unbelievable, the staff was unfriendly, the meat wasn't freshly cut, even taken out from a shelf. Shawarma was cold without sauces and without salad, then I asked why, and an employee replied very arrogantly that shawarma is served like that, but that's not true. I always like to eat shawarma but never again with jasma falafel, it was also expensive and I'm 2 Hours on the toilet are approaching. Now I understand why there is always teaching

We wanted to have a snack and try a bit of everything. So we asked if we could get a mixed plate for two. That costs at least €16. It was possible, a plate came, but the toppings were clear. Since there were two of us, I asked if I could get a second plate so we didn't have to mix everything together. A second plate costs €2.50, said the employee. I was horrified and he shouted at me that it was disrespectful to even ask such a question. Since I had visitors from the USA and wanted to avoid any trouble, we ate the contents of the ONE luxury plate as a couple. Luckily my visitor didn't understand any of this. The snack bar is just embarrassing and overpriced and really no longer recommended. It's a shame, I had a different impression after it opened about 2 years ago

We are very pleasantly surprised by all the delicious food here. Attention to detail is noticeable. Service is top notch. What stands out is the particularly tasty zatar spiced bread. I enjoyed falafel with pickled vegetables and hummus on the side. If you put your heart and soul into what you do, this is the result.

As you can see in the answer below, we traditionally serve the shawarma with few vegetables. Even when I asked, they didn't allow me to put tomatoes on the shawarma. A pity. The meat is marinated quite tasty, but there should be more vegetables if you ask.

Wir haben letzte Woche diesen wunderschönen Laden entdeckt. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl und willkommen. Die Fachkräfte sind super herzlich und freundlich. Die Sitzgelegenheiten sind außerordentlich bequem und es gibt so viele leckere Vegane Gerichte. Ich kann Jasma Falafel nur empfehlen!
