The shawarma was so delicious! The place was completely quiet and a great place to relax. The owner even gave us a free snack.

They make delicious falafel, and it was a great atmosphere. I would definitely come back if I ever visit Potsdam. Ahmad was a really nice and friendly guy.

The food and service were excellent. The authentic Lebanese interior is inviting and feels less like a train station snack bar and more like a small, very cozy, oriental restaurant. The menu is varied, high-quality, and very reasonably priced. For anyone looking for a high-quality culinary alternative to the usual standard options in this arcade, this place is perfect. I will gladly return and can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

The food is delicious and the restaurant is clean. However, it's very unsuitable for eating in. Unfortunately, they're greedy when it comes to giving you plates or glasses. It's also not inviting; you have to do everything yourself.

The shawarma... wow, it's delicious!!!!!!😋 I've been wanting to eat one in Potsdam for a while but didn't know where... then Jasma Falafel came along. A really cool place that offers delicious dishes that you don't see very often. A really tasty change!

There's been a Lebanese snack bar in the Bahnhofspassagen for about two years, and that fact alone is pretty cool, because apart from one pretty bad kebab shop, there's simply nothing comparable there. I've been there a few times now, had a few dürüm to go, and was always satisfied. Yesterday, I went there with my wife to try out the plate dishes. The selection is quite nice, and they occasionally add a few new items that are only available for a certain time. Unfortunately, the plate dishes were a bit limited for me: as a vegetarian, I only had the couscous plate (it would have been nice if they had halloumi). My wife had shawarma, and we shared a small fries with toum. My wife was extremely satisfied – the meat was very juicy and really deliciously seasoned. She also enjoyed the salad, and she was really filling – her plate was also quite large. We also really enjoyed the fries – good quality, well-fried. A little more salt wouldn't have gone amiss, but it was perfectly fine. Neither of us thought the toum was that spectacular. It was rather greasy, barely tasted of garlic, and a little more lemon juice would have been good. My couscous plate was okay. I really liked the falafel on top. They were a bit less crispy and not quite as heavily seasoned as I've experienced at other Lebanese restaurants, but they had a pleasant, almost creamy texture inside and were something different, yet really delicious in their own way. I also thought it was cool that they served it with tahini instead of hummus. I like hummus, but I also like variety. The couscous itself was a bit dry, but okay. A little more lettuce than two slices of tomato and a few strips of radish might have been nice, although I do like this pickled radish. The sauce was good and sufficient, but I would have liked more variety – maybe a spicy sauce. Overall, my plate wasn't very large. Perhaps they assume that vegetarians can't be very hungry here. (-; Overall, the experience was positive. What I really like is that we have a place at the train station that skimps on quantity rather than quality. Yes, due to the location (and the likely associated very high rent), the food isn't cheap. We paid almost €30. But at least it tastes good. Compared to most of the other snack bars in the train station passages, you can really eat here. As a Potsdam resident, this wouldn't necessarily be my first choice if I wanted to go out for Lebanese food - I recommend Tyros and El Amir. But for people who want a quick bite to eat at the station or to grab a quick dürüm to go on the go, Jasma is one of the best alternatives at the station.

Hello everyone, I really liked this shop, especially the shawarma and the staff are very friendly, I recommend it.

Very bad and dry shwarma. When asked for extra sauce they said its already inside . Also the behaviour was not good. It felt like the workers or manager are working there out of their will. As a Muslim I am always looking for halal options around Potadam but there behaviour made me dissapointed.

Wonderful, very friendly and 100% authentic family-run place where I've been known to quell my hunger after my regular trips to Potsdam's world-class Barberini museum. The food could hardly be tastier or fresher, and the servings are very generous. The prices are about half of what you'd expect in Berlin, just a few train stations away. Note that it's a halal place, so no alcohol.

Best chicken shawarma in Berlin and Potsdam

I've been coming here at least twice a week recently. The flatbread variations are fantastic, and the friendly staff is the icing on the cake. I highly recommend Jasma Falafel.

Honestly, the food is not good at all, and the shawarma did not look Turkish or Lebanese, and the sandwich was all potatoes!! The pies are a different story, the fillings are barely noticeable and they are very expensive. Don't come again, and I hope you improve yourselves a little because your restaurant is excellent. I mean, the sandwich we make at home is better than this mess. I mean, it is a sin to cut off someone's livelihood, but you do not ask because there is no quality, no quantity, and no generosity

Was the food from the day before yesterday? Every meal was completely dried out, as if it had been made the day before and just warmed up. Distinctive shawarma and great taste

The woman who was sailing food was so unfriendly. Also the food was not good. First of all I Payed 16€ for a food which came with a really small peace of bred. I asked if I can get more bread, she said it cost 1 Euro extra( which was to much for the another peace of small bred ( other restaurants even wouldn’t ask money for that). I didn’t have cash with me, I asked if I can pay with card, in such a rude way she answered no!!! Also the peaces of the meet in side of my dish was totally burned like a black stone. Totally not recommended.

The saleswoman seemed unfriendly and not trying hard. In addition, the shawarma was served to me without a plate on a simple sheet. The chicken meat was dry and no longer seemed fresh. Overall the value for money was disappointing - not a place I would visit again.

Amazing lebanese shawarma in Potsdam. I lived in middle east for a long time and taste of shawarma makes me nostalgic. I tried there shawarma couple of times, most of the time as take away, but last time dined in the restaurant. It’s nice atmosphere inside. A star less because last time when I bought the shawarma it was bit cold.

Mega tasty, very friendly staff, we had the falafel in a dough coating twice for €4.50 I think 😅. Fresh vegetables, juicy, simply great! Definitely trying one of the menus next time, they looked great too. As a small snack there was a kind of dumpling with spices and salt on the house, very tasty!

Service and ambience are okay as far as a train station snack bar goes. Basically, I really like Lebanese and oriental cuisine. Here my companion and I were completely disappointed! We had the vegetarian "cedar plate" where neither the tabbouleh nor the moutabel were at all edible. The tabbouleh tasted strongly of vinegar (probably to extend its shelf life), the moutabel should perhaps have tasted distinctly smoky, but was simply unbearably bitter and therefore not edible. The Houmous was also unexpectedly bitter in taste and hardly edible. The falafel lacked any kind of dip and not only were they extremely dry, they looked like ready-made products. There was no hint of herbs in the falafel. Overall, the shawarma plate was significantly too small for the price. The chicken meat was poorly seasoned and the "pieces" on my plate were more reminiscent of chicken kebab from the kebab shop. The garlic dip was the best part of the dish because the rice unfortunately had an unbearable bitter taste. Here, too, it is difficult to explain where the bitter taste came from. To be honest, I waited until the recession because I wasn't sure we'd be miserable, but we both tolerated the food well. Nevertheless, it was our last visit and there are much better addresses for oriental dishes in Potsdam. The prices are too high for the portion sizes offered, even though the taste is good, but given the taste disaster, they are absolutely outrageous!

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant. The food did not meet expectations at all. The falafel dürüm had a very unpleasant, almost unbearable smell that made the whole thing inedible. We didn't even manage to take a bite. The meat was obviously not fresh and left a bad impression. The lentil soup was very over-seasoned and had a bitter aftertaste that was almost unbearable. For the price I expected much more. I'm sorry, but I was really disappointed here. Besides, you yourself noticed, and the woman laughed, that it was very disrespectful.

Very nice restaurant. The staff are very friendly and always ask if anything is missing. Very large selection of vegan dishes, I could hardly decide what to eat now. The restaurant is also beautifully decorated and the food was delicious! Always happy again. Only recommended!

I wanted to try it because I saw many positive reviews. Unfortunately, it was not good for me. I think the staff were not welcoming, not even a smile! The shawrma I had was warm which is nice but they added froes to it which was not well done and full of oil. It tasted like these fries were re put into oil to heat.

My absolute favorite falafel in Potsdam. Right in the main train station Passagen opposite the UCI Luxe. In addition to the food, absolutely great people!! Prices are really great compared to other places in Potsdam. But the atmosphere here is unique! ❤️💯

The WORST food I have ever eaten in my life. (I have a lot of experience with Arabic cuisine and know exactly what good food should taste like.) Here are the reasons for my rating: 1. Very expensive and small portions. 2. The food was so greasy that the oil pooled on the plate. 3. The falafel had a bitter and strange taste. 4. Both of our dishes were cold and dry. 5. For a salad you just get a bunch of iceberg lettuce, without any spices or sauce. 6. In general everything was unseasoned and tasteless. So if you are reading this review, better stay away as it won't be a good experience. For this price you can get much better food nearby.

The food was very tasty and also inexpensive. You have to order at the counter, there are no menus... you have to pick up the food yourself and it is not brought to the table. A plate would have been good with the wrap. The fries were perfect and so was the crispy chicken, well crispy and juicy on the inside. I would recommend it as a comparatively more upscale restaurant in the train station; you could have a good meal here before or after a movie date.

Super fresh. Extremely delicious. Great couple who run the store. If you want to open a second shop, come to Waldstadt, there are only two really bad kebabs in the area. The restaurant “zur Luise” has been empty for several months and should have enough space and has been recently renovated.
