Jaroon's is simply the best! Relaxed atmosphere, super friendly team, and the food is amazing. My absolute favorite: the Ranger Star Burger – I'll definitely be back! 🍔

The only diner in Karlsruhe that truly captures that authentic diner vibe. Whether it's a burger, burrito, homemade lemonade, or milkshake, everything is always delicious. The service is also very fast and friendly. Definitely recommended!

I've rarely been served so kindly; I sadly miss this kind of friendliness in Berlin. Here, they still understand what good service is all about. The food was also very good, just as you'd expect from an American diner. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Karlsruhe. A must-visit! 👌🏽

I'm absolutely thrilled! I keep coming back to Jaroons because it's such a welcoming place. The team is incredibly friendly and professional, and they really take their time with the customers. The food always arrives super fast and tastes amazing. I especially want to highlight the pleasant atmosphere and the decor. Last night we ate at the diner. The food was delicious, as were the drinks, all accompanied by very friendly and fast service (from Marija). Highly recommended!

The food is far too overpriced. I'm happy to pay more for freshly prepared food, but not for this frozen slop. All the children left their food because it simply didn't taste good; even my baked potato was cold and tasted awful. We used to enjoy going there, so after many years we wanted to eat there again, but after this experience, never again!

We ate there again after a long time. The place was packed. The food was delicious. I always order the Classic Burger. It's fantastic. I'll definitely be back!

A lovely, cozy American diner, just like you'd imagine 😍 It's especially nice when decorated for special occasions like Halloween or Christmas, with some great decorative touches, lots of American items, the typical tables with benches 🗽, good music, a bar, and so much more 👏 The atmosphere is great 🇺🇸 The service is good too 👍 As a regular at the movie theater, I naturally eat at the diner from time to time. It's always nice, whether before or after the movie; you feel like you're in a film or a TV series. Now for a few points of criticism, or rather, suggestions for improvement: The food is tasty, but unfortunately, compared to the atmosphere and service, it's not that special. It's tasty, but there's room for improvement. I would like to see more love for American food and homemade items, like the burger buns, fries, onion rings, nuggets, iced tea, etc. For that price, you could easily make coleslaw yourself 🍗🥗🍟 I really like the seasonal menu and I love the place, we're long-time customers, but I think that the effort they put into the ambiance and service could be applied to the food too. I'm sure many people would appreciate that, and it would be healthier as well 💓

We were at the cinema as a family and wanted to eat here afterwards. The children were very thirsty... unfortunately, they did something else in the restaurant first, but didn't take our order! That's why I'm only giving 3 stars for the service. What a shame... After that, things moved along quickly and the food was great.

A great location to satisfy your hunger before or after the cinema...

The staff were having loud private conversations at the bar. Three employees, and no one even looked around at the few guests. We wanted to pay, and I had to wave conspicuously until someone noticed us. The waitress then thought it appropriate to end her private conversation before approaching us. On her way over, she continued talking, and we understood every single word. I was totally shocked at how someone could treat their guests like that. Before we were even served our food, we were asked if we wanted a hot drink afterward. We had just arrived 🤷🏻‍♀️

Burgers were really good and plentiful

We had a burger and a burrito. The contents of my burrito were covered in grease, and the chicken patty on the €16 burger was from the freezer. An absolute disaster for a total of €42. Except for the staff, who were very nice, that's why it's one star. Conclusion: We'll never see this place again.

Well, the food consists mostly of frozen convenience products. It's very expensive, though! Given the location, it was to be expected that the value for money was absolutely terrible. But the service is friendly and the atmosphere is great.

The food is delicious, a bit pricey, but it's worth it, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. I've been there several times and can definitely recommend it. However, it would be advisable to reserve a table in advance.

Unfortunately, the food was abysmal. I had a pulled pork burger with sweet potato fries! Neither of them tasted good! Not recommended!

Our absolute favorite restaurant. In addition to the delicious food, the staff is also amazing. Special requests and the like have never been so easy!

The ambience is nice; even though it's open to the cinema area and other bars/restaurants outside, it still felt like you were in a closed restaurant. We were shown to a table straight away and the service was very friendly. The booths are a bit narrow, but still comfortable. The starters arrived super quickly and were as ordered. The food also came very quickly. It tasted good but nothing special. The fries were a bit cold and the chicken patties were a bit dry. What I found unreasonable was the price of over 10 euros for a summer special cocktail with so little rum that you couldn't taste any of it, and the rest was just very bitter.

★☆☆☆☆ Disappointing – Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is no longer up to scratch The two of us went to Jaroon's American Diner – unfortunately, we were very disappointed. We paid a total of €46 for two burger meals plus drinks. What we got was more than sobering: The burger arrived after only 5 minutes, the bun was completely cold, the patty was only half-warm, the lettuce was wilted, the onions were overcooked, and the beets were greasy from a can. The feta cheese also had no flavor. It was clearly evident that the food was frozen – none of it seemed fresh or homemade. For €16.70 per burger, we expect at least a freshly prepared meal. The drink prices are also exorbitant. The service was okay (one star for that), but overall, the visit was disappointing. The food used to be better – today, neither the quality nor the value is right for us. What a shame.

We ate there a long time ago, but unfortunately, it was rather below average. Since we had a movie night coming up, we thought we'd try it again. We had burgers and ribs and were surprised at how good it was! Nothing compared to the previous experience! Highly recommended!

Two of us went there on Friday evening by chance. We had cocktails and different fried foods. It was excellent. It's expensive, but it's worth it!

On a positive note, our waiter was very friendly and helpful, the food came very quickly, the tables and decor are nice and fit the theme. The problem is the food, it is very bad especially for the high price. The fries were of poor quality, the burger patty had a puck-like consistency. The chicken wings were very overcooked. Nothing I ate was worth the price.

Bad service. The restaurant is almost empty, but everything is reserved and you are only allowed to sit if the staff decides. Almost on other people's laps. Really cheeky!

The Nuggets, Burger and Fry's were good, but way too much oil, grease. The beef burrito was without taste. The service was very nice and friendly.

Unfortunately, both burgers were very dry and therefore almost inedible. Unfortunately, the tables are very close together - conversations from those sitting next to you are inevitable. Unfortunately the price/performance is not justified. The portion sizes are OK. after 3 hours: Severe upset stomach!!! Unfortunately the last time in this location.

Went here for lunch today before the cinema. I was really looking forward to the rump steak from the lunch menu, which I had already found on the internet. It was accordingly disappointing when the waitress came back to tell me that this lunch menu no longer exists, even though it is on the homepage and advertised for it in the menu. That's why only 2 stars, although the food was definitely tasty.

Fries weren't quite cooked through, in my opinion they weren't quite right for the price, they were very expensive and they didn't taste that good. I would be very surprised if the coleslaw salad wasn't canned. In addition, 3 of the things we wanted to order were all. The burger itself didn't taste bad, it was also expensive, the hot chocolate was normal mixed cocoa.

The food is tasty and sufficient. The service is always friendly too. Only the tables are a little too narrow, so it gets very loud when it's full.

Had dinner here again today and I have to say, we won't be back any time soon, unfortunately!! Since Jerome's opened, we've always enjoyed coming by. It used to be a highlight to go out for something to eat before or after the cinema, the coleslaw was the best in Karlsruhe, we came especially for the spare ribs, always juicy and perfect cooked, the burgers were also very tasty. Then they started saving on quality, first with the salad, then it was time for the ribs, other cuts resulted in a sauce that had more sugar than taste. Well, today the citizens, the patties are unfortunately cheap, lukewarm and the potato wedges are unfortunately almost cold. Sorry it was busy tonight. But since the citizens have a hefty price, the quality should be right. Unfortunately that's no longer the case, so we won't be guests anymore, it's a real shame no more high light.

Friendly staff, large selection also for vegans. Tastes really great. It's just a shame that you no longer bring the 0.5 still water to the table in bottles and fill it into the glass at the counter.

We came here spontaneously after going to the cinema. It was well attended, but the two of us still managed to get a seat. Friendly and attentive staff and delicious food at good prices rounded off our evening very well. Gladly again!

In my opinion everything is very bad

Saw the restaurant by chance while strolling and spontaneously went there for lunch. Very friendly & attentive staff. Food also came very quickly and people gave tips and asked for special requests when ordering. Super delicious food. Definitely worth its price. The ambience is what you would imagine from an American diner.

Food ideas was great but taste-wise, not my cup of tea. The only thing I still like is the onion ring. Even the sauces aren’t good so it wasn’t a pleasant meal for me.

The service, the location at the ZKM and the idea are really very good. Well-structured team and pleasant waiting times. But of all things, meat is saved. There is definitely frozen meat on the burger, if not separated meat. If you increase the price by €2 and get really better meat, the shop will run just as well if not better. That's a real shame, otherwise it's really true

Miserable food meets catastrophic service.

Burgers are quite good. Plenty of choice. Meat is from local butcher. Unfortunately, the patties look a bit like bullets and are done. Could be a little pinker and juicier. Prices are a bit high, but that's normal for burgers these days. Service is always nice and courteous. A burger or other American good is always possible before the cinema.

In addition to the very tasty burgers and the beautiful ambience, the waitress Kim was extremely friendly and accommodating! The food was served within 10 minutes and the portion size satisfied our huge hunger. We will come back!

The diner is furnished as you would imagine from films, matching the cinema. Good opportunity to eat burgers or TexMex cuisine before going to the cinema. The food is good, but appears to be convenient in its preparation and presentation. The prices are a bit too high for quick fast food, but the waiting times are quite short. At peak times before or after a film screening, it is almost impossible to get a seat without a reservation. What should be highlighted is the always friendly staff.

In Jaroon's American Diner you feel really comfortable and especially because of the interior design like in America. The most beautiful thing is the pink car in the wall. The food tastes delicious and fresh. I had the sampler plate and the chicken fingers. What was really great was that you could choose two dips for each starter, in my case homemade sour cream, garlic dip, guacamole and BBQ dip. The waitresses are very friendly and funny, it's fun to come here.

We were there with 16 people and everything was great. We were warmly welcomed and even had our own waitress for our table. The food was very tasty and more than sufficient, there is also a menu for allergy sufferers. If you have intolerances, respond to your wishes. All in all a successful evening

The sizes of the meals are very big. The fries were a bit too salty for my taste and the Aperol felt watered down. The food itself was not remarkable but the place and the staff were very nice.

I wanted to eat something different for my birthday. However, the service took too long - 20 minutes - and treated me like air. Even though the restaurant is only half full.

Drinks and food came quickly and tasty. Unfortunately the waitresses are terribly unfriendly. And not for the first time! Order taken completely incorrectly, which can happen. But then being cheeky when you insist on eating real food is just not cool because it wasn't our fault.

You come into the building and see this lovingly designed American diner. You will be warmly welcomed and shown to your seat. The service is awesome. So friendly, so unobtrusive but always attentive and approachable. We felt really, really well served. The food, as an appetizer a mix of all appetizers, a spicy chilli and a chicken burger with jalapeno, arrived at the perfect temperature and tasted simply fantastic! Anyone who thinks: We are talking about fast food is wrong. Jaroons American Diner serves American cuisine that is a far cry from McDonald's fast food style. The food at Jaroons is filling. You don't feel hungry for a long time. A big difference!! Jaroons is worth every penny and we will definitely be putting it on our night out list! Full 5 stars!

That was probably nothing. At first glance online, the ambience was very appealing. Unfortunately, it's not enough to buy a diner backdrop and think it's an American lookalike. Our Polish? Unfortunately the service staff was not familiar with American customs. We asked if the drinks were refillable and were laughed at. French fries ??? Those are supposed to be fries?? We could have gone to MC - just as bad. Burger - well - hunger drove it in. One thing is for sure - we won't go there again.

It was my first time at Jaroon's and I was really impressed. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The location makes a very well-kept impression with attention to detail. We were there on a Sunday at 3 p.m. We ate a crispy chicken burger, pulled pork burger with potato wedges and the hot brownie with vanilla ice cream. The chicken was super crispy and nice and hot, the vegetables (lettuce leaf, cucumber, tomato) were fresh and crunchy. Sweet chili sauce available in sufficient quantity. The wedges were well seasoned but not overly seasoned. The sour cream was homemade and also super tasty. The pulled pork was very tender and juicy, not dry or "stringy" at all. The hot brownie was pleasantly chocolaty and not excessively sugary, and it didn't taste like a finished product at all. The vanilla ice cream was very creamy and didn't have an intrusive taste. All in all, we were very satisfied and will definitely not eat here for the last time. Keep it up. 🙏

Jaroon's is a typical American diner. From the interior design to the menu, everything is super harmonious and you feel like you've been catapulted straight to the States. If you don't have a reservation here in the evenings, especially on Fridays or weekends, you might have a little difficulty finding a place as a larger group (2+). I saw a group of five who hadn't made a reservation being seated at a tiny bar table. The served dishes were pushed back and forth in good old Tetris style. Unfortunately it didn't look comfortable. I've eaten here many times, but to be honest I've never been interested in the burgers. Right from the start I didn't find them visually or qualitatively appealing. If I want to eat a (very) good burger, I go downtown, where there are better, and sometimes even cheaper, alternatives. In the past, when I want to snack before a movie, my choice has always been an appetizer and the taco salad. Here you get a fresh, crunchy lettuce, ground beef, sour cream and cheese, served in an edible taco shell. Once the salad is eaten, you can eat the taco shell with the dip that was served with it. Cool! You really can't get that anywhere else in Karlsruhe. And nothing feels heavy in the stomach during the movie. The drinks prices, however, are a little harder to stomach. This is certainly due to the location within the cinema. But what I would really like to emphasize is the super-friendly service. No matter how stressful things got because of the crowds, she always had a few kind words and a smile on her face.

Eating takes too long, I'm hungry

I've actually always been satisfied so far. Today, however, we had a case that shouldn't happen like that. The wrong burger was initially brought. After complaining, they apologized and brought the right one. Later, when I was unfortunately already at home, I noticed that it was quite expensive. After a little recalculation, I realized that the wrong burger (with fries) that had been brought and taken back had also been calculated. Almost 20 euros were overcharged because my mind was already elsewhere when I paid and didn't notice it at the moment. And above all, I wouldn't expect something like that. But I assume that it was just a mistake on the part of the waitress, as nothing like this has ever happened before and the food is pretty good too.

American Dinner im Filmpalast, natürlich für jeden zugänglich. Der Service ist richtig gut und sehr freundlich. Essen bekommt man sehr schnell und es schmeckt.

Super Service mit großem Lächeln auf dem Gesicht, Essen und Getränke waren in weniger als 5 Minuten da. ABER: die Preise sind viel zu hoch, das Essen ist selbstgemacht, schmeckt aber nicht so und sieht auch nicht so aus, im Gegenteil, die TK Pommes vom Aldi sind besser, mein Burger ist in zu süßer Sauce ersoffen und sah innen aus als hätte ihn schon wer verdaut, Personal sollte Handschuhe tragen beim Servietten falten und keine privaten Geschichten durch das ganze Restaurant brüllen, die Musik ist zu laut und für ein "classic American Diner" sollten vielleicht mehr 50s und 60s kommen und weniger Nicki Minaj und Maroon Five. Es ist so laut, dass man sich nicht unterhalten kann. Vielleicht sind meine Erwartungen zu hoch für ein Diner in einem Kino aber bei den Preisen hätte es etwas zufriedenstellender sein dürfen.

Am Besten vorher reservieren! War wie immer sehr lecker und das Personal freundlich.

Freundliches Personal, schnelles und gutes Essen, schönes Ambiente und coole Idee mit Motto Getränken/Speisen im Bezug auf Kinofilme im ZKM. Sehr Empfehlenswert!!!
