American Diner Durlach in Karlsruhe

Burger Ranch was not my taste. I think there are better burgers. However, taste is always a thing. Very nice staff and on the ball.

Gave up food. Order didn't arrive. Staff made aware of this. Kitchen was already 2 minutes later. Only got chicken burgers. No discount… No receipt… What can you say about that…

Cool atmosphere, friendly service, fast and, above all, delicious food. Good portions. What more could you want?

A touch of America in the middle of Durlach. Classic American diner as you know it from the USA or from various films. In the entrance area there is a classic diner, in the extension a mixture of diner and German architecture. Good selection of burgers, milkshakes and barbecue appetizers. American beer and cola and changing special dishes. Quality is good food, the food is delicious and so it is always worth a visit.

Unfortunately, the quality of food on every corner has deteriorated significantly while at the same time the price has increased significantly. The chicken nuggets are a far cry from what a chicken comes close to makes up. Please reconsider or remove it from the menu!

It is definitely advisable to reserve a table here, especially if you are coming as a couple or on a date. The atmosphere is simply great – like a real American diner. The food was excellent, the burger was by far the best I've ever eaten. The ambience fits perfectly with the style of the restaurant. The service was also impeccable, the team is friendly and attentive. If you're in the area I highly recommend stopping by - I'll definitely do it again!

Ambiance in the front area and in the beer garden was great, but pretty bland in the back. Today the service was unfortunately mediocre (obviously new, so still ok 😊), the room at the back was overcrowded, the burger was cold, but the cola was warm... all in all not (anymore?) recommended.

Delicious burgers and every Monday there is a huge special burger. Which one will be announced on Facebook this weekend. However, it is better to make a reservation as it is often very full. The food is available quickly when picked up.

It took 40 minutes to prepare one burger

We have been here several times and often pick up something. Unfortunately this time it didn't work at all Unfortunately, they forgot to hang up the phone for over an hour so we couldn't get through and couldn't order. Afterwards we decided to just drive there. Unfortunately it was very busy, which is ok, but then we ordered take away, this took 40 minutes. It would have been ok but unfortunately the burger was cold when I picked it up and the fries were no longer as fresh this time and were already cold. It's a shame we weren't happy this time Hopefully it will be better next time.

I have to admit that the food used to be much better and more. It's still good, but this time my burger patty was pretty well done and hard 😅 Everything else was great though. But I can't understand why some people here write that you could just get food from McDonald's. The waitresses were all really, really nice :) I also think it's great that ketchup and mayo are on the table right from the start 👍🏻 At many restaurants you ask 10 times and still have no mayo / no ketchup for the fries.

This is the best tastiest burger I've ever eaten and the staff are so polite, I'll come again anyway, the food isn't expensive and if it's busy you can still order and they're ready in 20 minutes when I came in they had them Invited me straight away for a drink, I'll definitely come again😋😀

Ordering doesn't work. Half of the paid order was not given, despite the waiting time of an hour. The Wedges side dish consists of a single piece. Incredibly bad service. Unfortunately money and time wasted.

One of the best experiences you can have in Karlshure. The dishes are very well served, large, beautiful and tasty. The attendants did everything possible and impossible for us to serve us well (even speaking English) they tried to speak in Portuguese, Spanish and Italian. Very fair value.

The sweet mustard burger is great. The Caesar salad and the wedges are good. The chicken nuggets are OK.

I was frustrated before I found this restaurant, simply because I have been living here for ten years and never found a restaurant that serves an authentic hamburger, until I found this restaurant and it restored my hope of having a good lunch 🤩 The staff is very friendly and lovely (you don't wanna miss that in this country) and the experience is amazing, the decoration makes you feel like you're in a modern western Hollywood movie. If you're looking for a real burger, go to American Diner.

If you've ever been to the USA, you know that - apart from the ambience - it has nothing to do with an American diner. Unfortunately, the burgers were mediocre and tasted like typical frozen food. The buns were dry and the burgers overall tasted like those from conventional fast food chains (BK, McD). The mozzarella sticks were definitely overpriced. Overall, the price-performance ratio is not justified and incomprehensible. The employees were friendly and motivated. The ambience is also nice, but the burger quality can definitely be improved. For €16 I expect a good burger!

Not being a fan of American food..it is a nice place where I could find some salad and eggs for me. The others were so happy about having burgers &co. Delicious milkshakes! Parking nearby, you can sit inside or outside. Reservations are required. Recommended for all burgers fans 🤗

Went to dinner for the first time today. As a starter we had the dinner mixed platter. For the main course we had burgers. 1x the Ranch Burger and 1x the Mississippi Burger. The burgers were super tasty. The service staff was super friendly and accommodating. The dinner is beautifully decorated. We will be back.

Top service! Very nice service. Burgers...well! So for the price I get e.g. a better 🍔 burger in the Phönix Stube. Beer is only available in bottles, max. 0.33 liters! No 1/2 liter bottles available. Ambience is a bit old school! Everything is not so fresh anymore. But the service is very hardworking and cleans everywhere. Top!

Absolutely stylish diner with an American flair. Super friendly and attentive staff. The selection of drinks ranges from typical root beer and typical shakes to the local Durlacher Turmberg Bräu. The menu is rich in burger variations, including veggie versions, and typical diner finger food. Depending on the season or time, there is a special burger. We recommend. The portions are just as large as you would expect in American cuisine. But the taste is absolutely amazing. Some of the best burgers I've ever eaten. Definitely a recommendation. Everything is right here, especially the price/performance ratio. You should definitely reserve in advance.

Der Flair ist top. Die Burgerpatties sind nicht besser als bei Burgerking. Das Pulled Pork schmeckt ok bekommt man zuhause aber auch selbst besser hin also kein Kassenschlager das Chilli ist ganz gut die Milchshakes auch aber es gibt viel bessere Optionen in und um Karlsruhe.

We were here for the first time and can only say it was very pleasant, cozy and great service. We'll definitely come back, and if the other burgers are as good as our two today, we'll get the 5th star at some point (it's difficult after the first visit). I've known this diner since it opened. It used to be good, but that was a long time ago. Last year I didn't think the food was particularly good and I haven't eaten anything in the restaurant in question for a year. So the diner got a second chance. The burgers weren't particularly good, just frozen as usual. The fries, the mozzarella sticks to run away from. If you want to eat really good burgers, drive 5 minutes to the city center and eat something real. For me, I'm healed again and stay away from the restaurant. The ambience is great but that's it.

You are fooling people. Please take the short ribs out of the menu because this is not short ribs, this not a rib at all, just a chunk of bad quality chewy meat. Either make a short rib sandwich or take it out, don’t fool people.

The staff is really very friendly and pleasant. Unfortunately, the food is not recommended at all. I had a classic burger that just didn't taste good at all. The industrially frozen patty had an unpleasant taste. With lots of ketchup and mayo I was able to eat some. Which I regretted because I couldn't get rid of that taste. The bun tasted like cardboard. It could have at least been toasted a little more. The fries were the best part of the dish. A real shame.

A variety of delicious hamburgers are offered in various menus and the service is extremely friendly. It is recommended to reserve in advance if you do not want to sit at the bar. The atmosphere is cool and authentically American, although it can be a bit drafty in the winter, so bring a Norwegian sweater.

Leider ist es sehr kalt gewesen. Es liegen auf jedem Platz Decken. Aber zum verweilen und noch ein zweites Getränk, war es leider zu kalt.

Unbedingt vorher reservieren! Sehr gut besucht. Das Ambiente im vorderen Bereich ist genial, im hinteren Bereich ist das Ambiente ganz ok. Die Preise haben angezogen. Die Portionen sind wirklich groß. Lieber 3 Euro günstiger und dafür kleinere Portionen. Es geht immer was zurück.

Die wo dort Arbeiten sind mega sympathisch vorallem die junge Frau und die andere Dame fanden uch sehr nett und das Essen war auch gut

Wer den amerikanischen Style mag ist hier genau richtig. Die Burger waren frisch und lecker zubereitet und die Portionen sehr üppig.

Super Ambiente schneller Service leckeres Essen.

Мне понравилось, очень атмосферно, заведение как в американских сериалах и фильмах. Еда вкусная, выбор пива скудный, особенно американского, нам предложили только Miller. Интерьер немного уставший от времени, потёртости и сколы, и видно что заведение достаточно старое. Обязательно ещё вернусь сюда.

Waren Vor Ort. Gemäß den Öffnungszeiten sollte es Donnerstag Abend um 18 Uhr geöffnet sein. Ergebnis: leider doch geschlossen :-(

Sehr lecker aber bisschen teuer

Netter kleiner American Diner. Die Servicekräfte sind sehr freundlich. Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Würde ich hier wohnen würde ich öfter einen Besuch abhalten.

Wir kommen seit Jahren regelmäßig ins Diner: Super Essen, sehr netter und schneller Service, stilechtes Ambiente! Ich kann es wirklich jedem Burger-Fan nur ans Herz legen. Aber Achtung: das Diner ist eigentlich immer sehr gut besucht, ich würde daher immer zu einer vorherigen Reservierung raten.

Nice Diner, friendly people, good atmosphere, I ordered a short rib and coke. The coke was good, fries were good, meat was of a terrible quality, the meat was full of tendons , couldn't get through it. The cook shouldn't have handed over this meat to the people behind the bar but should have thrown it away. Wouldn't advise to go there, although I must say this of course based on a one-time visit.

Immer einen Besuch wert. Kommen schon seit vielen Jahren immer wieder. Qualität top. Preis Leistung passt.

War bisher einmal hier. Das Ambiente ist super und sehr sauber. Man fühlt sich wohl. Allerdings weiß ich nicht, wie es ist wenn viele Kinobesucher da sind. Das Essen war mäßig, der Burger leider recht trocken. Die homemade Limonade war lecker. Das Personal war freundlich und ist auf Wünsche eingegangen.

Portionen, die einen satt machen, von denen man aber geschmacklich nicht zu viel erwarten sollte. Das Turmbergbier ist dafür sehr lecker und der Service nett. Das Ambiente ist nur im Eingangsbereich typisch amerikanisch, im hinteren Bereich eher lieblos gestaltet. Preise sind ok, die Parkplatzsituation eher schwierig.

Das Ambiente ist toll, mit viel Chrom und Leder. Ich meine, ich hätte sogar irgendwo eine Jukebox gesehen. Es gibt Riesenburger, Kartoffelwedges und Fleischgerichte, typisch amerikanisch XXL und fettig, aber auch ziemlich lecker. Gerne wieder.

Das Essen war jetzt maximal mittleres Niveau. Bier gibt es auch nur aus Flaschen. War wohl leider mein letzter Besuch.
