Simply always good, my first choice for burgers for many years. I've never been disappointed.

The best dinner in the Karlsruhe region. The staff is polite and very accommodating. I also recommend it for wheelchair users. Even five years after my first review, and compared to numerous dinners in Europe, this dinner is simply the best in terms of quality, value, and service.

Very annoying. The restaurant is closed. There's no sign of any other opening hours and no information board, but there's no one there. Really annoying, especially after driving 35 minutes to get there.

Authentically decorated diner with delicious American food. The BBQ brisket sandwich was delicious, and the meat was very tender. The fries were a bit too salty for my taste.

We were already happy that, according to Google, it's also open on Mondays (September 8th to be exact). We arrived at 5:15 p.m. and found ourselves standing next to other guests in front of a locked door... no sign on the door, no light or movement inside the building, and no information about changed opening hours/closed days or anything similar online. It's a shame to have to make the extra 30 km trip... once and never again.

We found the doors closed on Monday during regular opening hours – no one there, no information at the entrance. The website only showed a holiday notice until September 1st. It's very disappointing when you make the special trip and then it's closed.

The taste was disappointing: bland, unloving, and tasted like simple frozen food. Even fries or side dishes couldn't save it. For €18 and €19 per burger, you expect fresh ingredients, good preparation, and at least some attention to detail – there was none of that here. Totally disproportionate value for money. We definitely won't be coming back."

Highly recommended The Cheese Lover cheeseburger is a dream. Add it with a milkshake for maximum enjoyment.

Current rating 2025 More or less worse than a McDonald's burger. The meat tastes like it came straight out of the freezer. It didn't really have much flavor either. I had a double cheeseburger, which I could barely eat. Not because there was too much, but because the taste was really poor. Dear people. You can certainly cut corners on quality. But for an American diner, the taste was really poor. The fries were also over-fried. I've never had anything like that before. If you only have a few dishes, please do it right. You can also sit inside or outside with your dog. Your dog is also considered a guest and gets water and treats. Burgers are very good and don't taste like the usual ready-made burgers at M*******. Mozzarella sticks are slightly overpriced at €6 for 4 pieces, but that's all there is to complain about.

The bottom part of my burger (the bottom bun with sauce, meat, and cheese) tasted great. The meat was very tasty. Unfortunately, I couldn't try the top part because it was missing from my to-go box (hence the point deduction). Maybe I'll get the top half next time, and the whole burger the third time! I didn't make a reservation and still found a seat in the beer garden under the linden tree. Prompt, attentive, and friendly service, and the food was excellent and plentiful. The value for money was spot on. Aaah, simply fantastic. I always enjoy coming back here.

We stumbled upon this American diner by chance last week on the way home from our short trip. The ambiance is brilliantly executed. You really feel like a time traveler. Everything is done with attention to detail. We ate burgers. The waitresses were exceptionally friendly and cheerful, and they asked several times if everything was correct. They even fulfilled our most unusual requests. At the end, we had a peanut butter milkshake. It was delicious. We'll definitely come back next time we're on this route.

It's always worth a visit when I pass through Karlsruhe. I was there 12 years ago and it's still delicious! Very nice, clean atmosphere, not an endless menu, and very friendly service. I really like it!

We were here for dinner. The first thing you notice is, of course, the authentic diner atmosphere. You'd have to find that elsewhere in Germany. Upon closer inspection, however, you'll notice that some things look a bit worn. But that's okay, because the food is incredibly good. Definitely not diet food, but that's not what you'd expect here. The pulled pork burger was really good, and the coleslaw was an absolute dream.

The coolest thing here is the ambience. The conditions are friendly. The burgers and wedges are okay.

You feel like you're in America. Very classic diner with great food and great interior design. I had a 360g burger (2×180g patty) and it was incredibly tasty. The homemade coleslaw is also great. Absolutely recommended👍

Delicious burgers and every Monday there is a huge special burger. Which one will be announced on Facebook this weekend. However, it is better to make a reservation as it is often very full. The food is available quickly when picked up.

Nice American burger restaurant. Yummy. The food is authentic. The rooms at the front are great. At the back it is no longer so typical and is extremely narrow. More space there please. Nice outdoor seating for the summer. There are some parking spaces in front of the house.

Been terrible. Burger cold and dried out. Not to mention the taste. The milkshake that was topped with ice cream was simply a kaba that was totally oversweet. It smelled really bad in there and the whole thing itself was unpleasant. Prices are good for an American diner but what you get (what we ordered) wasn't good.

A touch of America in the middle of Durlach. Classic American diner as you know it from the USA or from various films. In the entrance area there is a classic diner, in the extension a mixture of diner and German architecture. Good selection of burgers, milkshakes and barbecue appetizers. American beer and cola and changing special dishes. Quality is good food, the food is delicious and so it is always worth a visit.

Unfortunately, the quality of food on every corner has deteriorated significantly while at the same time the price has increased significantly. The chicken nuggets are a far cry from what a chicken comes close to makes up. Please reconsider or remove it from the menu!
