Jakobs-Hof Schäpe in Beelitz

Ein kleines Klassentreffen mit 10 Personen. Der Wind war etwas zu stark und kalt, sodass wir Platz im Restaurant fanden ( mit Reservierung ). Sehr freundliche Bedienung, schneller Service, alle bekamen das Essen zusammen . Wunderbarer Spargel, mit oder ohne Schnitzel und Souce nach Wahl . Getränke mit großer Auswahl. Der Hof/ Restaurant und der Laden luden zum verweilen und auch nur zu einer Tasse Cafe mit Kuchen . Alle waren zufrieden und der Preis war OK

Ambiente war so schön wie eh und je, bedient wurden wir auch gut . Bißfester Spargel und Salzkartoffeln ohne Beanstandung . Schnitzel aus der Friteuse zu fest , desgleichen ist dem Fisch passiert. Irgendein gekochter Schinken , geschmacklos aus günstiger Produktion. Der rohe Schinken war zwar ebenfalls nicht von guter Qualität, aber er hatte wenigstens Geschmack. Leider bin ich sehr enttäuscht und werde den Weg aus Charlottenburg nicht wieder zu ihnen finden .

Der alte Glanz ist leider gänzlich verschwunden. Das Personal gibt sich Mühe und versteht Deutsch. OK. Wir hatten Spargel mit Schinken und Semmelbröselbutter. Leicht zu machen… Aber nicht mehr bei Jakobs. Der Spargel war zerkocht, die Semmelbröselbutter eine zähe, versalzene Pampe und die Kartoffeln waren alt mit Haut. Der Schinken war blass, da half auch die Orangenscheibe (?) auf dem Spargel nichts. Das ganze war aufgepeppt mit einer Stange grünem Spargel, die nach rohem Fisch schmeckte. Im Hofladen musst man teilweise nach dem verschwundenen Personal rufen… Sehr enttäuschend! Die großartige Zeit dieser schönen Location scheint ein Opfer der Drittklassigkeit geworden zu sein.

Wir sind sonst immer gerne hingefahren, selbst die 1h Fahrt war uns nicht zu weit. Diesmal waren wir jedoch sehr enttäuscht. Getränke wurden nicht vollständig gebracht, die bestellte Vorsuppe wurde gänzlich vergessen. Als das Essen kam, war es bereits kalt. Auch hier wurde die Bestellung nicht richtig gebracht. Das Schnitzel war kein richtiges Schnitzel, sondern Formfleisch, die Kartoffeln waren hart. Für 3 Personen waren es die knapp 100€ nicht wert.

Top...if you are in the region and want to eat asparagus in season, an absolute must!! Great atmosphere and food of very high quality. Service and farm shop very good!

First the good, you sit in a very nice, well-kept courtyard, great atmosphere. The mixed starter plate was really good, but the asparagus in the main course was hard and almost raw and way too salty, the finished Hollandaise sauce wasn't great either, the fried potatoes were full of fat and not crispy, and the schnitzel was really good. The totally tasteless strawberries with cheap spray cream for dessert were subterranean. Conclusion: great atmosphere, food mostly a real disappointment. It's a shame that we drove there from Berlin specifically to enjoy delicious asparagus and strawberries, both of which were really bad.

Beautiful farm with excellent cuisine. The food has decent portion sizes and is of good quality. A large selection of drinks completes the offer. There is a large outdoor seating area in the inner courtyard and many tables in the rustic interior area. You should reserve in advance, especially on weekends and public holidays, as the farm is very busy. A spacious farm shop offers asparagus in all shapes, meat products, fruit, decorations, etc. Parking spaces are available at the yard. Opposite there is a large playground for young and old, as well as the 5-minute Schäpe Museum.

We go to Jakobs-Hof at least once every year and have never been disappointed. Not this time either. The food was delicious and the service was quick and friendly. One point deducted because the prices in the farm shop have generally become too high for us. We've always done a lot of shopping, but this time we didn't buy anything. We would still like to come back for dinner.

A wonderful restaurant with a large outdoor area! We were there on Easter Sunday (ordering a table is also highly recommended on other days!!!) and despite the large crowds, the service was very good and the food was again very, very good 👍👌👍. The prices are quite good, not overpriced and the portions are completely sufficient for an average eater! We have been there several times and can really recommend it!

Remote and inconspicuous. But inside it's absolute madness. Farm shop and restaurant. Nice restaurant inside, and beer garden in the courtyard. Very, very nicely done. Food delicious and staff absolutely nice and on the ball. My favorite and insider tip when it comes to asparagus and the like.

Unfortunately, we were moved to the Jacobs Hof restaurant in Beelitz on Easter Saturday (we were supposed to sit outside in 9 degrees and drizzle) and we spontaneously and spontaneously found a very comfortable place in the restaurant with ten people. Wir waren schon wiederholt auf der Durchfahrt im Spargelhof und haben uns auf ein gutes Mittagessen mit dem ersten Spargel der Saison gefreut - aber das war eine einzige Enttäuschung! Der Spargel (6 Stangen) war sehr salzig und viel zu weich gekocht. Der gekochte Schinken war geschmacksneutral. Die Kartoffeln waren gut, aber es war Trockenpetersilie darauf gestreut, die nicht gut schmeckte. Das übelste aber war die "zerlassene Butter", mit der wir den Spargel bestellt hatten. Butter war kaum zu erkennen, das meiste war Spargelsud. Wir haben dann Butter (zu einem Aufpreis) nachbestellt. Wir haben noch Spargel und Kartoffeln im Hofladen gekauft - das war daheim dann beides gut.

Parking space and location of the farm are great. The food and staff used to be better. Had asparagus with parsley potatoes and schnitzel. This time the schnitzel was neither acceptable in terms of taste nor preparation (the schnitzel was not pounded, the potato had apparently been ready for a while and was somehow kept) - the potatoes were dry. The butter crumbs had almost no butter in them, they were just toasted. Asking €26.40 for it is very ambitious The manageably large starter soup (asparagus cream) could be described as average at best. At €7.90 it's actually outrageously expensive The service staff were inexperienced and overwhelmed. Most of the young men in the service acted more like interns. I can understand that it is difficult to find good staff in the catering industry. But a well-known and renowned company like Spargelhof Jakob should be able to inspire employees. Why didn't I complain on the spot? I don't like exposing myself in a crowded restaurant and making a complaint in front of all the guests and staff. I'm one of those people who accepts it and just doesn't come back

Eat delicious asparagus. However, if you want a little ambience, you should tell the (advised) reservation that you want a quiet place. We sat right in the entrance area, which was very disturbing. Staff was super quick and friendly.

Another chance find on the return journey. Asparagus with pike perch, so delicate and delicious. If we come to the area again, we will rest here.

Diverse farm shop offering regional products, fresh sausage, fresh cheese and, of course, fresh asparagus in season. The restaurant is cozy and there is a beer garden and a converted barn in the four-sided courtyard. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, we had asparagus with schnitzel and fried potatoes as well as the starter variation and were very satisfied. Clear recommendation, the town itself is in an idyllic location and not as busy as Klaistow etc.

This was our third time for roast goose eat at Jakobshof and were thrilled again. The staff was again very polite and attentive. The pre-ordered goose and side dishes were perfectly prepared and tasted very tasty. The amount of goose parts was enough for 5 people, although we ordered two extra side dishes and an additional portion of goose breast for a total of 7 guests. The goose was presented at the table before it was cut up, which increased the anticipation even further. The restaurant wasn't that busy for a late Sunday afternoon, but we didn't rate that as a negative for our food. Maybe it's the price, but considering the quantity and taste, it's entirely justified. My tip during Advent: visit when the lights in the courtyard are already lit, which will really round off the Christmas event. This time we missed the traditional Christmas tree in the yard. We are already looking forward to the next roast goose feast next year!

Absolutely recommended. Seasonal menu also regional. Emphasis is placed on quality rather than quantity. The staff was very polite but not intrusive and very accommodating. Even with a full house, no feeling of stress or hecticness. And the kitchen is simply fantastic.

We once ate out at Jacobshof. The Latte Machiatto we ordered was served without a saucer. The daily specials were offered in the lower area at the entrance, but this was not visible on the menu. Duck leg with red cabbage, dumplings or potatoes, as well as liver with onions and fried potatoes were ordered. After 50 minutes the food was served. The duck leg skin was not crispy, not hot and the red cabbage was overcooked and unseasoned. The liver was not exceptional and the onions were overcooked and fatty. The prices are also not acceptable.

We will never stop at the A9 motorway service stations again. From now on we can always make it to Schäpe. Great farm shop with a great range, great restaurant, reasonable prices, friendly service. What more could you want?

Unfortunately, spare ribs are very bad, they should come off the meat on their own and don't need to be cut off... Schnitzel ok, but nothing more. Overall, the presentation of the food can contain more love and detail. It's not exactly cheap.

The ambience is otherwise always great, but yesterday there was a big and loud Bavarian band on site, which was a bit loud for us, but that was to be expected and that's why it was still nice. Our service staff was GREAT again... friendly, attentive fast and very very competent.

Country inn on the A 9 / A 10 Beelitz exit. Great atmosphere with lots of wood. Nice outdoor dining. Nice service. The menu is manageable, but above all with very tasty dishes.

Very nicely renovated yard with comfortable outdoor seating. A great atmosphere. The rating for the food refers to the cake. The blueberry cake deserves 5 stars, the cherry cake 4 stars. There is also a farm shop that has many interesting offers.

At the age of 60, this is my first review of a restaurant and that's saying something. I'm really disappointed and angry. I will only comment briefly, otherwise it will be too long. The 100% non-German service staff preferred to have personal conversations rather than worry about the guests' wishes and empty glasses. Often you had to go to them and ask them to come to the table to take an order. The menu contains four main courses (beef fillet, hamburger schnitzel, salmon fillet and spare ribs) too thin. My beef was lukewarm to cold, so the cold herb butter didn't even get soft. The schnitzel was not beaten and the eggs were fried to death on top and black on the bottom. The mixed vegetables are cooked, the potatoes are hard. Very small portines at exorbitant prices (beef fillet 30€). Ordered a bottle of wine with two glasses, two glasses of wine came, returned again, then a bottle of warm wine with two glasses but not opened came to the table. (Thankfully screw cap). Again all the glasses are empty, so back to service. Ordered ice cream for dessert, cake came back, when asked again it came after 1.5 hours!!! the ice cream. Out of frustration, I didn't open the second bottle of wine either, but it was cool. The other glasses are empty again. There were 15 of us together. Conclusion: food too little, too expensive, loveless. Service lackluster, not organized! Never again for me. Try it yourself, maybe you'll be lucky or unlucky. In any case, it's a rip-off there!!! In this sense. HAVE A GOOD MEAL

We planned it as a stop on the way there and were so excited that we stopped again today on the way home. Absolutely delicious dishes, friendly service, a great ambience in the beer garden under the chestnut trees. And: Sparkling clean toilets (not entirely unimportant when traveling with children), and dogs are also very welcome. We were invited to a wedding there. The food was great! The farm is exciting. There are animals and a cute farm shop. Unfortunately we sat among all the beer garden guests. I would have liked it to be a little separated for the wedding party. Still, it was just beautiful!!

A very nice courtyard, cozy with enough shade, friendly service! However: the chanterelles and especially the "fresh garden vegetables" are of the lowest quality, all frozen food, totally limp, tastes like nothing, not even seasoned, everything is floating in fat, some of the fried potatoes are burnt. And the high prices don't match the quality at all. Very unfortunate!!!

It's a very nice courtyard to sit and have a drink. I wouldn't eat there again The food is frozen food, "garden vegetables" - bad joke. Salmon fillet very thin and boring. A lot of fat. And prices for something much better.

Food was okay so far, but we would have expected slightly better quality for the price. Unfortunately, the vegetables were very obviously frozen vegetables, which you could tell from the typical cutting pattern of the carrots. In addition, the carrots for the children's meal were covered in honey, which our little one didn't like at all, and I didn't quite understand the meaning behind it either. Children really enjoy eating carrots. The farm shop in des is very nice and definitely worth a visit!

Unfriendly and annoyed service or better handling of customers who pay a hefty price for the food. People here tell you that the strawberries come from Holland!! The older person is better off staying at home.

Since our favorite asparagus farm in Busendorf was already closed, we spontaneously decided on the Jacobshof in Schäpe. They always made an effort there but weren't really welcome as guests! There were enough staff but not guest-oriented. Food was repeatedly served without cutlery! The crowning glory is the completely unjustified prices! 1 glass of wine €6.80 and a CUP of asparagus soup €7.90. The portions were sufficient but without any of the pizzazz that you might expect for prices between €20 and €27! We won't be visiting the Spargelhof again any time soon! Too bad for our region!

The last time I ate asparagus was absolutely delicious!!!

Nothing special. The food didn't taste great. The waiters were annoyed and unprofessional, lost everything and left it on the floor. We waited up to 35 minutes for food even though it wasn't full! Always reacted very annoyed. No eye contact with customers. There was no response to questions for recommendations.

Asparagus at this time comes in many variations. Sitting in the restaurant or in the four-sided courtyard. A very extensive range in the farm shop. Easy to reach, very close to the motorway and still an idyllic place.

Good food (very asparagus-heavy ;) ), not huge, but sufficient portions. The staff is polite, but you can feel the seasonal mass processing of guests. The ambience is nice and pleasant, especially in summer, despite a certain beer garden flair in the inner courtyard. The large playground opposite is very nice and can pass the waiting time with children when the weather is good.

We went shopping in the farm shop. Everything was great, we got everything. Service great.

Sind heute leider bei J. Jacobs in Schäpe gelandet. Es war nicht so toll und das lag nicht am Wetter. Die " Kellnerei " war aufmerksam und schnell, zu Beginn unseres Aufenthalts. Danach war nicht mehr viel los. Hätte der Service besser geklappt, hätten wir noch weiter bestellt. War aber keiner interessiert. Ein Nachzügler wurde zwar seine Bestellung noch los, jedoch wurde nicht geliefert. Erst auf sehr späte Nachfrage kam dann das bestellte Essen, dann aber sofort. Also stand es wohl auf dem Küchentresen und war aus einer anderen Bestellung. Die Kartoffeln entsprachen Industriequalität und waren nicht gar. Die angegebene Petersilie auf diesen Kartoffeln war frostgetrocknete Konservenware, obwohl zu dieser Jahreszeit diese in Unmengen auf dem Markt ist. Die Holländische Soße kam vermutlich aus einem Großcontainer und entbehrte jeglichem Geschmack. Der Spargel selbst war in Ordnung, ebenso der Abschlußkaffee. Bei diesem stimmte mich auch der Preis gut gelaunt. Die Preise im Hofladen teilweise bedenklich, Beelitzer Spargel bekomme ich im Supermarkt günstiger ( trotz u.a. Transportaufwand ). Fazit: Im Land Brandenburg gibt es viele Spargelhöfe, wo wir gerne einkehren. Schäpe steht nicht auf dieser Liste. War bzw. ist Herr Jacobs nicht der Vorsteher der Spargelbauern im Raum Beelitz ? Hofbesuche könnten Wunder wirken.

Great asparagus and a neat farm shop

We took a bus trip to the Spargelhof. Unfortunately I have to make a bad comment for several reasons. There was supposed to be a tour of how asparagus is grown and harvested etc. and when we arrived we were told that this couldn't take place for "hygienic reasons". As compensation, everyone received a mini-small strawberry smoothie, which is absolutely no substitute. Since we were there much too early without the guide, they still wanted to process our bus group straight away and so we had food at 11 a.m. What is absolutely unbelievable is that we were positioned outside and inside in 17 degrees (without sun). We wouldn't have been able to sit at a nice table right in front of the entrance with the door open if we asked. Serving went quickly, but then disaster struck: the asparagus wasn't cooked properly, but was still al dente! Someone from the farm shop later told us that this was probably medium firm and that's how they do it there. Then you would have had to announce it in advance and ask people who only wanted half-cooked asparagus... almost everyone in our bus group was dissatisfied with that. Unfortunately the hollandaise sauce also had no taste. Despite the fact that we took a bus journey of over 3 hours, we were disappointed, both that the tour was canceled for an incomprehensible reason and also with the service and the food.

Although we were very spontaneous, despite the full house the staff was very friendly and made sure we had a seat in the cozy courtyard. We were also served very quickly. The food didn't take long to arrive. The quality left nothing to be desired. Asparagus is very good and schnitzel, like potatoes, are definitely from a trusted farmer. In the in-house farm shop you are sure to find something for your little joys. All in all, a well-located asparagus farm with enough parking space, even for overnight stays.

Once a year during asparagus season we visit the Josef asparagus farm. We had asparagus with schnitzel and parsley potatoes. As well as pasta with cherry tomatoes, green asparagus and rocket. Everyone enjoyed it very much, the service was great and the atmosphere was hard to beat. The waiting time was only about 15-20 minutes. We can only recommend a visit this year, as the surrounding area also invites you to take a walk.

Asparagus was very watery, hollondaise sauce came out of the bag!! For a reordered portion €2.90!! Molded schnitzel fried in the deep fryer. Good thing we sat in it. It was raining heavily outside and food was served including rain water!! Unappetizing!!! Hygiene....??? Staff rather unfriendly, mass processing... Very disappointing!!

It was beautiful here and the food and service were top notch. Can be recommended with a clear conscience.

I've been eating my schnitzel with asparagus there for 20 years, the quality of the schnitzel has deteriorated by 1000% in the last 20 years, but the price has risen immeasurably (almost 30 euros per plate). Absolutely incomprehensible... From the fried industrial schnitzel to the hollandaise sauce from the box to the halfway real asparagus on the plate! From a cozy asparagus farm to a mass tourist processing facility! The fact that dogs are allowed in the restaurant is a disgrace! I love dogs but I don't have to & won't share my food with you!

Beautiful, lovingly landscaped asparagus farm with asparagus from the Beelitz region. The farm shop not only stocks asparagus but also all types of food from the region. The prices are acceptable. In addition, you only drive less than 2 km from the motorway and find yourself in an absolute idyll. Perfect for a short break and relaxation.

I visited this shop to get something to eat. I waited 15 minutes for a waitress to even order something to drink. When no one had the idea to serve me at that time, I left the business.

A nice cozy place to stay. Unfortunately there were problems with the cash register system and from then on nothing worked. No flexibility at all. After waiting 30 minutes at the table, a waiter at the next table takes orders and, after speaking to them, refers them to another waiter, who unfortunately never came. The waiters mainly looked for her safety on a short walk to the door to the restaurant. Maybe there were also “fears of contact” due to language barriers. It's a shame but not worth another try. If the checkout doesn't work, orders won't be accepted or the invisible staff will refer others. We wanted a celebratory meal and were very disappointed!

It was with great pleasure that we came here again with the whole family. We were here last year and had a fantastic meal. And today more than disappointed. The service was tried hard. I gave the schnitzel back because it wasn't even knocked. Some of the potatoes were cold. The great mixed vegetables were taken off the menu. Instead there were lots of carrots. Some of the sauce was already solid. I was very disappointed. And I told 4 different service staff. How great the food was last year and how bad it was this time. Unfortunately I wasn't listened to and my plate was cleared away. I'm just disappointed to have paid 150 euros for the meal!!! I added 2 pictures, the one on the left is from last week and the one on the right is from last year.... Pictures sometimes say more than 1000 words...

Super tasty, have been there several times and always had a positive impression. Service and food a dream!

Positive: - delicious asparagus, delicious pork loins - nice ambience outside - very fast Negative: - Side dishes are pre-produced (which also explains the speed, we were there in the evening and the fried potatoes were very hard and dry (although still tasty with the spring onions). However, this is not in proportion to the price of something like that. Guess it depends on the time of day and quantity to guests whether they are unlucky like us and get side dishes that have to wait a little longer. The waitress did not comment on this.
