Jakobs-Hof Beelitz in Beelitz

Jakobs Hof is a wonderful place for a little break. There's a great playground, a few farm animals you can pet, and the dining area is lovingly nestled on the farm. Although it wasn't overly busy, unfortunately, a few things went wrong with our food orders (wrong side dishes), which of course happens sometimes. But above all, we would like to criticize the high prices for the small portions. The children's portion, in particular, was far too small at just one pancake to satisfy our five-year-old. Unfortunately, the adult portion was also manageable, so we weren't 100% satisfied after eating. Please revisit this; otherwise, Jakobs Hof is wonderful.

The food was delicious. The location was easily accessible by car!

Yesterday I bought asparagus for 12 euros a kilo in the farm shop. It turned out that all the asparagus spears were brown on the inside. Very very annoying.

I have been there twice since mid-April 2025. (1x for two / 1x for four) The food is delicious and menus are - if at all possible - happy to be adapted to guests' wishes. BUT: Nevertheless, the portions have become very “clear”. 4 sticks of asparagus, for example, for a menu "asparagus with potatoes and scrambled eggs" is not much (we're talking about eating asparagus!), and the food is clearly too expensive. The service was rather mediocre both times. On the first visit (2 people) they constantly wanted to serve us the food from the neighboring tables (4-6 people), on the second visit we had to wait over 30 minutes to get our bill. At that time there were 7 tables occupied outside and 4 people serving outside. Three service staff stood 3-4m away at the neighboring table and had a private conversation with guests about shoes. Conclusion: My guests from Northern Germany now take this as “typical Jakobs-Hof”. Have a good meal.

Always worth a visit! Fresh asparagus from the field - plus a restaurant, beer garden, farm shop, street sales, petting zoo & Co. Perfect for a trip to the Berlin area👌

Waitress friendly and helpful, the service help unfortunately no, you collect empty glasses even though there is only one glass - question about any new ones = none and when they were cleared the plates were stacked at the table and a relevant amount of melted butter got from the plate onto the partner's pants..., there was no apology from the person clearing away, the waitress found an excuse with a note to charge for the cleaning costs... but the stains will remind us of a nice afternoon, greetings

Wow, that was bad. The food, in our case “crispy schnitzel with asparagus” for a reasonable €26.90, was fried fast food. The schnitzel was extremely thin and had a sour taste. When asked, the hollandaise sauce is “of course not homemade”… For an asparagus restaurant, you could have expected it. The petting enclosure is not for petting and the worst part is the playground. Almost everything is defective and broken and getting old. Very commercial and made for the undemanding Berlin audience. It's a shame, but it's working. The only positive thing is the Flämminger beer.

Simply delicious in a pleasant atmosphere

The courtyard view is nice, but the service and food are so bad that a relaxing experience turned into a terrible experience. First we were taken from a table without a reserved sign to a group seat with several people, and then the food was absolutely bad. We finished off with an ice cream sundae. The strawberries were sour, the ice cream was noticeably cheap from the discount store and the whipped cream wasn't even whipped but from a cheap can that was probably right next to the ice cream. Very disappointing.... Very disappointing indeed. If you want to be driven away from the table and have a really bad experience, come here.

We bought fresh asparagus there. It was Easter and accordingly crowded.

We were invited to a birthday party here. It was a nice atmosphere and helped make it a successful celebration. The food was good, but not outstanding. But everything was okay. I can't say anything about the prices, we were invited.

The food was really a disaster, which I told the waiter. Asparagus soup was too salty, schnitzel almost burnt, potatoes with thick skin because they had been lying around for too long, hollandaise sauce didn't taste good at all, the vegetables reminded me of my canteen food at school... As far as the food is concerned, we are very disappointed. The waiters wanted to clear the plates during the meal. All this for over €100! The grounds are nice, especially for the kids.

We were here for brunch on Easter Monday. Excellent cold buffet and later a great selection of warm dishes and desserts. Despite the many guests, the service was very friendly and quick. We really enjoyed the brunch. Many thanks to all employees!

We went here for Easter brunch and were quite disappointed. Our table was only set and seated for 10 people, but we had ordered for 12 people. After being left at a bit of a loss for a while, we asked the staff to bring us at least two more chairs. But no one really felt responsible and we continued to stand. After another request, two plastic chairs were placed before us. We then moved the seats independently. The buffet was already pretty empty and refilling it was very slow. At lunchtime the warm part was stocked and there was a long queue. Here you could certainly find other solutions to cater for the many guests, I'm talking about around 150 guests here. The staff was very clumsy and overwhelmed, everything seemed a bit confused and chaotic. The food as such was quite good, but I expected a little more for the price, especially since I was quoted a completely different price on the phone when I ordered. Overall, I can only agree with the others: it's a bit mass-produced.

We had already reserved a table for lunch for six adults and four children several weeks before Easter Saturday. We asked to sit inside and only outside if the weather was good. On Easter Saturday 2025 it was 9 degrees and drizzling. We arrived at the restaurant on time and a woman met us in front of the restaurant and told us that they didn't have a table for us. We should get out. The table is ready and set. The table in question was covered with the usual parasols, which of course didn't keep out the rain. The table and chairs were wet and there was a flower arrangement on them. Not more. We were then fobbed off with the words, there are also blankets. The employee was completely disinterested and offered no further help. Maybe they could have told us a time when a table inside would have become available. Another suggestion: The team had our phone number. A phone call beforehand to say we had to sit outside wouldn't have been a bad idea either! It is an outrage to literally throw a large family out the door in such bad weather. Absolutely substandard service!

I was here with my sister and my parents (ages 90 and 89). Super nice staff and lots of tasty food. I can only recommend it!

The food was tasty, but unfortunately almost cold. The staff are nice and friendly. The prices are sometimes quite high. In addition to asparagus and strawberries, the small farm shop offers various liqueurs and preserves. You can also purchase decorative items. Update April 2025 - one week before Easter. All tables were occupied. Unfortunately the snack stands were closed. In the farm shop there were strawberries again 🍓 and asparagus and canned sausage and asparagus soup. Our grandchild had fun on the playground. Even though you use it on your own, some of the equipment is borderline bad: a bench was broken, a board was halfway through. The hinges on the doors of the small spithouse were loose. A toy car had defective tires. There is a risk of injury for both children and adults.

1 star because service was unacceptable. An elderly lady took our order and then 30min later comes and asks can I take your order?!?! We were already annoyed to wait a such a long time and she did not even take the order properly the first time??? It seems they were struggling with the customers in general. We talked to the manager and at least he understood this is not acceptable. We just left after that.

The environment is ok but not much love has been put into it. The service is very slow. We asked that the sauce not be poured over the food but served in a separate bowl - which you have to pay extra for, which I find outrageous. I like to decide how much sauce goes on my food and so far that has never been a problem. Overall, the service does not seem customer-oriented, and no exceptions were offered. Food is ok.

It used to be a good location - now mass processing at the expense of the guest. The taste was only mediocre and we waited an hour for the food, and 3 dishes were forgotten. After all, you only had to wait 20 minutes for the drinks. Significantly too few staff for the number of guests - waiters seem overwhelmed. My recommendation would be to go to a smaller location with asparagus.

Top asparagus and super fast service

Unfortunately this time nothing good. After we quickly received the menus and the drinks were brought, we were unable to take the food order despite the clear number of guests. The service person in charge only had to say that she overlooked us. Clearly with 6 occupied tables.

Was very disappointed with the food and service yesterday. After an hour we asked what the order was because other guests who came after us had already had their food. We were simply forgotten, although they apologized and promised us that we would receive our order in 2 minutes. Then it came: schnitzel with asparagus and potatoes. The schnitzel, cold and dry, must have been lying around somewhere for a long time. So I complained, the waiter took my plate with him, after about 5 minutes he came back (with the old plate) schnitzel fresh and hot but asparagus and potatoes cold

The first asparagus of the year. It was very tasty, although the menu didn't specify the quantity. The servers were very friendly.

We were passing through and were looking forward to a stop at the Spargelhof Beelitz. The first fresh asparagus. Unfortunately we left the restaurant with an empty stomach. Even though everything was free (only one table was occupied), we waited 15 minutes and no one served us. The other table was taken care of, we weren't. We then left and drove on to the Schäpe Spargelhof. Great service, great food. We can only recommend it.

Service at the beginning of the season wasn't quite as good. It's better to make a reservation at the weekend if you want to eat inside. Greater options for sitting/eating outside too. There is already asparagus with schnitzel and potatoes for just under €27, that's ok.

We held our free wedding and wedding reception there on December 31, 2024. The ambience, the food, the support and a smooth process were simply perfect thanks to the great staff. 75 guests and bride and groom were perfectly happy and full. Thank you very much. 🫶

A very nice restaurant, not just during asparagus season. There is a large, quiet outdoor area in the courtyard. If the weather is bad, a large guest room is available and there is also the option for separate celebrations. The menu is seasonal and regional. The food is very tasty and good. The service is fast and attentive and is happy to provide advice. Always my pleasure.

We were here today out of season as guests for dinner. Unfortunately the dumplings had to go back to the kitchen because they were cold and then every chef who works there should know that the guest can watch them through the hatch. The chef constantly had his cell phone in his hand and without washing his hands he grabbed all the food with his hands. So we weren't happy, sorry.

Everything is just right there! Service is very friendly, quick and accommodating. You are treated as if you were the only guest. Every wish is catered for. Food always tastes very good.

We ordered a pumpkin bowl but pumpkin was no longer available - we received a refrigerator cold iceberg salad with grated raw vegetables with quinoa on a plate - the beef roulade wasn't served very warm either, the goose breast wasn't very generous but the price was salted - We felt tolerated and rather unwanted - is that how you treat guests?

We had brunch with the family yesterday....food was unsalted....NOT MUCH CHOICE....NOTHING SPECIAL FOR THE PRICE!!!! UNFORTUNATELY!

We went for lunch on December 12th with 4 people. You should simply remove the dishes that are no longer available from the menu - or inform the guest about them beforehand. Would have been helpful. Although there were only 6 guests in the restaurant, the service seemed stressed. Really a shame.

We were in a great hurry. Within minutes we received a very tasty pumpkin soup.

Langes warten trotz leerem Lokal. Das Essen war weit unter unseren Erwartungen, geschacklos, schlecht. Die Qualität des Essens ist in jeder Hinsicht beschämend, wenn man die Preisstruktur des Jakobshofes berücksichtigt. Wenn Tagliatelle mit Rahmenchampinons und Filetspitzen nach nichts schmecken, dann stimmt etwas nicht mit der Küche. Mehr als lange Gesichter, welche die Ignoranz des Lokals wiederspiegelten, gab es nicht zu unserem Feedback an die Bedienung. Das war unsere 3. Enttäuschung in Folge, mit Sicherheit die letzte.

The juicy pork schnitzel was a dry piece of pressed meat, the broccoli was babbling off the plate and was completely towering over it.

Unfortunately, after waiting 15 minutes in the restaurant, we were not served. The waitress just looks at us unfriendly, doesn't even clear the guests' glasses in front of us, doesn't greet us, even though we greet them in a friendly manner. She walks past us and other guests several times to clean up. It's a shame, I would have loved to eat here. The petting zoo is also really sad for the animals = the donkeys have no shelter and none of the animals have grass to eat. Children here throw bushes to the animals in an uncontrolled manner. The only thing we liked was the farm shop and the location itself. We then go back to Jakobs Hof in Schäpe, where our experiences have always been very good.

Wer schlechtes Essen wünscht und unfreundliche Bedienung sollte hier einkehren! Trotz zahlreicher Personen, die eigentlich bedienen sollten, mussten wir erst auf uns aufmerksam machen. Die Kellnerin verzog kein Miene. Die Schnitzel für meinen Sohn und unsere Frauen mussten offensichtlich schnell weg. Das Fleisch war alt und mit einem unangenehmen Geschmack, Brokkoli war verkocht. Ich hatte das Tagesangebot "Geschnetzeltes mit Pfifferlingen" gewählt. Das Gericht war bestimmt schon mehrmals aufgewärmt und nur noch salzig. Das Bier war warm ...

Unfortunately the food was a complete disappointment. The rump steak consisted of 60% fat with an approx. 3cm thick edge of fat. The potato wedges were cooked to death in fat and served burnt. The broccoli was too firm. The children's fried potatoes were lightly fried and very fatty. Croquettes were also burnt and soggy from the sauce. Only the schnitzels served were acceptable. The environment with the animals and the activities for children raised the rating somewhat. The friendliness of the staff decreased significantly after the food was served and even reached the point of being annoyed. Sorry, but being annoyed with a paying guest is not acceptable. The four of us paid over €130. In and of itself it was ok, but the food wasn't worth the price. It was the first and last visit to this restaurant.

We had our granddaughter start school. Afterwards from from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the restaurant. Buffet: Chicken legs made a very pale, unpretentious impression and were hardly eaten. Vegetables were cold. No sauce for the meal. €35 per person is cheeky and expensive. Cold buffet was ok. Program: ????????? Punch and Judy show wanted to end at 2:30 p.m.??? And goodbye. Nobody needs that.

Unterirdisch bis ungenießbar. Wir haben einen Ausflug mit Enkeltochter gemacht und wollten abschließend zu Mittag essen. Der "Biergarten" machte soweit einen normalen Eindruck. Eine Bestellung war schnell gemacht, aber dann....! Trotz leerem Gastgarten war langes Warten auf die Bestellung angesagt. Der Kellner erschien lustlos und uninteressiert an uns. Getränke kamen schnell. Irgendwann kamen auch unsere bestellten Speisen. Die Salatbeilagen bestanden aus ungewürzten , trockenen Rucola Blättern ohne jegliches Dressing. Diese würde ich nicht mal einem Hasen geben. Dafür waren die Preise entsprechend. Hochpreisig bis erheblich zu teuer. Das nenne ich Abzocke. Bei der Zahlung habe ich auf die Beilage hingewiesen. Der Kellner zuckte kurz und gab an, der Küche dieses mitzuteilen. In der Anlage befindet sich ein völlig heruntergekommener Spielplatz für "Kinder". Unzumutbar!!!!! Man hat den Eindruck hier soll sich niemand aufhalten. Fazit: Überhaupt nicht zu empfehlen. Schade um den Weg dorthin. Nie wieder!!!!!!!

As always, worth a breakfast trip. The breakfast is always great and inexpensive. However, I liked the arrangement better. Everything on one plate at the moment. What happened to the beautiful cake stand? The waitress shooed us somewhat roughly between two large groups because the outer ring of tables wasn't being served... ok, but unfortunately the groups were extremely loud. But she's not interested now. All in all, nice breakfast, nice ambience, good price. Maybe a little more love in the implementation and not a commercial kitchen style.

We had a super delicious schnitzel and tarte flambée! The ambience is also very nice, especially when you can sit outside!

I'm here every week. Everything is always beautifully done. The farm shop is also always well-staffed. It's just a shame that the animals are largely left to their own devices and no one is ever seen with them. I don't like going there anymore, I'm increasingly disgusted by the animals and feel sorry for them. Open wounds, mites or the like wreak havoc on chickens, horses and goats and are not cared for. Please change this!

Normally I'm not petty, but unfortunately it's necessary here. I have been visiting the Jabobs-Hof Beelitz annually for several years now and have never been as disappointed as this year. From late food despite low occupancy to the waitress who doesn't make an effort to tip, it's all there. It took about 40 minutes from the time we ordered until the food arrived, only to realize that only a third of what we actually ordered was on the plate and the rest was made up for by a salad that was anything but fresh. The drink has also been stretched so much that you can get as much money out of it as possible. For this high price, that's pretty bold. The waitress wasn't particularly convincing with her no-matter-what attitude and indirectly asked for a tip. Next year we will probably have to look for a new stopover. It's a shame how this place has developed.

Cozy family farm with a restaurant, farm shop, playground and a small petting zoo. So I highly recommend this destination

Lukewarm food after an hour of waiting and at 5 p.m. on Sundays. So not exactly a rush hour. Overwhelmed and listless service. And to make the plates look full, they are piled high with salad. There simply has to be more in this upper price range. But given the situation, you can afford to be so disinterested, as new customers keep coming.

It was a school graduation party with a buffet, food, grill, buffet, yes, food was ok. We had to pay for the drinks ourselves, which was expensive somehow... and we also got wet due to the broken roof even though we were sitting on the covered terrace and we had to remove the plastic walls ourselves wherever the employees were...

Unfortunately, we were greeted very unfriendly by having the menus slammed on the table. In addition, we were told in a very unfriendly way that we should park our bikes in the bike rack provided. I explained that unfortunately we didn't have a bike lock with us and so we parked it next to us. You didn't block or bother anyone. I was very shocked by the "very" unfriendly tone (waitress was not one of the younger staff). In a sensible tone, nothing would have been an issue. Unfortunately we didn't feel comfortable there and left without ordering anything. Unfortunately lost customers. Such attitudes should definitely be reconsidered. Something like this is absolutely bad for business.

Very nice restaurant with a great outdoor area and a nice large children's playground. Animals can also be viewed and petted, which makes a stay with children perfect. Unfortunately the food wasn't good. The schnitzels were very dry, the fries weren't tasty and there were no sauces for the mushrooms. I cannot recommend the starter plate for two people. Unfortunately the service wasn't good either. It takes a lot of time until you can order drinks or food or get them later. Empty plates and glasses were not cleared away for ages even though it wasn't full. You can eat there once in a while but you will definitely get better food and better service elsewhere

A bit hidden, but not overcrowded - at least not by coachloads. Food and drink distribution is like in school times, but delicious. You can either sit under large fruit trees or on the terrace, protected from the weather, where old vines provide shade. It wasn't the first time we were here and it wasn't the last time either.

Declaring asparagus as 18+ mm that is smaller than 10 mm is fraud for me. For me, justifying this with the impending end of the season constitutes intent. It was only after repeated intervention on my part that the bars that were too thin were removed from the scales. A shabby behavior!

Beautiful yard, great for dogs and children. Food delicious, but very unfriendly staff. As we observed, we noticed that all of the guests were served so annoyedly or that some were not served at all because they did not sit close enough to the entrance.

It was a highlight to be there again. Watching a piece of your childhood home and being able to eat delicious food there. The starter for 2 people is recommended. For couples in love or just for gourmets who want to enjoy Beelitz asparagus fresh from the field. I was there with my family and I was in seventh heaven with my wife. The main course is classic schnitzel with asparagus and boiled potatoes and lots of hollandaise.

Two visits a year during the asparagus season are mandatory. Best quality and friendliness for years.
