We celebrated a school enrollment there and were very satisfied

My husband and I attended an event at the Beelitz Open Air Theater last Sunday, August 24, 2025. Before we started, we stopped for lunch at Jacobs-Hof. The atmosphere outside and inside the restaurant was inviting and cozy. We ordered schnitzel with chanterelles, my husband with fried potatoes, and I with croquettes. Unfortunately, the food wasn't particularly good! The fried potatoes were almost raw, the chanterelles were mushy, as if they'd been reheated several times, and the schnitzel looked like it came from a company canteen. Unfortunately, I have to put it so bluntly here. In short, the price/performance ratio is very different! Of course, we saw the prices on the menu beforehand, which we would have been happy to pay, but, as I said, the food wasn't worth it. It's a shame we won't be eating there again! We went for dinner the Saturday before Easter. Reservations are recommended. Delicious asparagus dishes, and the tapas platter for two is very good. The service was excellent, and the food arrived quickly. We'd be happy to return.

It's very nice to sit outside...

The farm shop is not recommended. We bought 3 kilograms of pickled cucumbers and shortly after threw them all in the bin. I soaked them, and after a short time, blisters formed. They were completely rotten. The man at the stand took all the cucumbers from the back. This is the second time this has happened to me there, but also the last time.

Nice beer garden, free parking. The food was a downside. The schnitzel wasn't fresh and had no flavor at all. The burger bun immediately fell apart. The food is run-of-the-mill, so the prices aren't justified.

We had schnitzel with creamed chanterelle mushrooms and a burger with sweet potato fries. Unfortunately, the fries weren't crispy, and the burger bun fell apart immediately because it was a bit soggy. Perhaps they could have toasted the inside of the bun a bit to prevent this. The taste was okay. My partner's schnitzel was a bit soggy. Everything could have been a bit warmer. The warm "pancakes filled with blueberries" were, unfortunately, just plain pancakes with powdered sugar (no filling), with a small glass of fresh blueberries and some mixed fruit for garnish. And the Spezi beer wasn't from Paulaner in the 0.33-liter bottle advertised on the menu, but a homemade blend of Coke and Fanta. If you look closely, that's cheating. (2 x 0.33 l original Spezi would have cost €7.20/ 2 x 0.3 l homemade Spezi cost us €7.80.) So less Spezi for more money. The service was otherwise okay, but the waitress seemed a bit annoyed. Too bad, otherwise a nice place, especially for small children.

We used this location for a birthday party. The children's coloring corner, which was the theme here, was showing its age: broken pencils, the same coloring book 30 times. The food was okay, but the vegetarian option had little to no seasoning, and the pasta was far from al dente; it was overcooked. The farm itself is beautiful, but it's not particularly inviting; you have to find your own way around. The animals look very well cared for, and so does the play area. However, I would like to point out that a horse bit our child on the knee—and no, she wasn't being wild or loud, she was just standing by the fence. A warning/monitoring would have been nice. All in all, a nice atmosphere, but we probably won't be coming back.

I definitely don't recommend it. When you go there as a foreigner, they don't even ask what you want. We waited for half an hour and they ignored us. They were really rude.

We came here for dinner at 6:00 p.m. with two children and three adults. The drinks arrived shortly after we ordered. The food took about 45 minutes, and a child's portion was forgotten. The quality of the entire meal was abysmal. We are deeply disappointed and will not eat here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Jakobs-Hof. It certainly won't be our last.

I was here with my school class. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the staff was very friendly and child-friendly. The students really enjoyed it. We'd go back anytime!

The food was okay. Unfortunately, I had the Wild Burger, and it was still raw in the middle. It took me 45 minutes to get it, even though it wasn't really that busy. The service wasn't very talkative either, and seemed a bit lost. I don't think we'll be coming back. :(

I spontaneously went back today. Everything was reserved inside, but everything was available outside. Considering it was cold and drizzly, they offered me a glass of mulled wine on the house. 👍 The food was super delicious: schnitzel with asparagus, hollandaise sauce, and potatoes. Plenty on the plate, and the service was excellent!

The restaurant is really recommendable, but if there is only an asparagus menu, I would appreciate it (asparagus water is available) if the hollandaise sauce is homemade and not from a tetra pack. Otherwise it is very cozy and also very nice for families with children.

We were at Jakobs Hof for an event. When you arrive, make sure you choose the Jakobs Hof in Beelitz and not the one in Schäpe. Once there, everything was perfectly organized. Ordering drinks was easy and very quick. The barbecue buffet struggled a bit with the crowds at first, but quickly caught up with demand. The rooms are rustically decorated in the style of a Tuscan inn and offer plenty of space. Outside, there's a lovely terrace and a beer garden. The restrooms are clean, and towels, etc., are constantly being replenished. Price-wise, Jakobs Hof is reasonably priced, right in the middle of the current market. Drinks are even quite reasonable. We had a lovely evening. Thanks to the team at Jakobs Hof Beelitz and the Linksfüsser dance school from Potsdam.

Unfortunately, a disappointment. I ate Beelitz asparagus for the first time, and it was no different than any other asparagus. The prices are WAY too high for what they offer. I had asparagus with slices of chicken ham. I'm new to the idea of ​​poultry ham. I've only ever had pork ham. And if I had known they were just crappy sausage slices, I would never have ordered it. I was actually looking forward to asparagus with chicken, not those pathetic, dry, thin sausage slices. Please take that off the menu and replace it with meat! Well, at least the hollandaise sauce was homemade, but there was far too little of it, so everything was very dry. The potatoes were strangely rubbery. What a shame. You can do better than that! And don't rip people off like that. You have enough money, you don't need such exorbitant prices!!! (I regularly eat at Michelin-starred restaurants; they're actually cheaper and 1,000 times better!)

The food was good. The service was quick and friendly. I highly recommend this place. The quality of the food is very good, and you can sit comfortably outside under a parasol and enjoy everything.

Beide Speisekarten waren mit verkrusteten Speiseresten behaftet und wurden uns wortlos, auf den Kopf gestellt, in die Hand gedrückt. Die Bedienung war sehr unfreundlich und sehr unaufmerksam. Man hatte jedes Mal ein schlechtes Gewissen, noch etwas zu bestellen. Es waren kaum Gäste da und es gab 2 Bedienungen, die sich in Unfreundlichkeit nichts nachstanden. Wenn dann doch mal jemand kam, wurde wortlos und mit einem grimmigen Blick, die Bestellung entgegengenommen. Das Bestellte kam dann aber recht zügig. Wir waren vor einigen Jahren schon mal da und hatten es viel positiver in Erinnerung. Das Personal hat absolut keine Freude an dem, was es tut und das lassen sie den Gast auch spüren. Wirklich sehr schade für dieses Restaurant. Wir kommen definitiv nicht wieder und können es auch nicht empfehlen.

To mark the end of the asparagus season, we wanted to enjoy another asparagus dish today, freshly prepared on-site in Beelitz. The asparagus was overcooked and woody, and I immediately complained. The second dish: The still overcooked asparagus also had a bitter taste. The quality of the asparagus was poor. My companion's plate was cleared away while I was still eating. Overall: the worst asparagus dish I've ever eaten in a restaurant.

Very satisfied. I was here with friends who weren't familiar with Beelitz. The food at Jacobs-Hof is still a delight after many years and affordable for families. The large playground and petting zoo guarantee a great experience for even the littlest ones. In short: a must-see!

Professional asparagus marketing. Well-organized, good offerings for individual and bus tourists. Large parking lot. Good restaurant. Coffee and cake available, large farm shop with a wide selection. Overnight accommodations available.

The food was delicious and the place itself was quite nice, but our service was terrible. We had a reservation for three people, but we weren't allowed to choose a sunny spot as requested, and we didn't get any explanation for why. When we wanted to make ourselves comfortable and put existing cushions on our chairs, we were singled out because cushions from other seats weren't allowed to be stolen. Then it was time for the first round of drinks, and the longed-for Aperol was forgotten. Well, that was the end of our good mood. Even though it's hard to find good staff these days, there's definitely room for improvement here.

We made a reservation for three people on June 22, 2025, at 1 p.m. We didn't get to eat. When the staff sees guests coming, they hide. When I complained to the manager, he became rude and told us to leave. Our 95-year-old mother then left the restaurant with us. It was 30 degrees in the shade. Unfortunately, no star! The trip from Wittenberg was in vain! That will definitely not happen again!

Waited over an hour for the food. I had potatoes with salmon and asparagus. The asparagus was overcooked, much too soft. The salmon had no flavor and no seasoning. The beer was warm, and to top it all off, the service was unfriendly. Never again

The courtyard is beautifully designed, there's ample parking and a large playground. So, it's a great place to spend some time, especially when the weather's nice. While we were there, there were plenty of seats. There are also so many tables that I can't imagine it ever getting crowded. The service staff is friendly and quick. The food selection, however, isn't good. There are no vegan options on the menu, and even upon request, it's not possible to make anything vegan. Nothing at all. Not even asparagus with boiled potatoes and margarine. The simplest possible recipe was rejected. We had fries, which were okay, but they were just cheap frozen fries and therefore absolutely overpriced. So, during a motorcycle tour, I would stop here, have a drink, and enjoy the weather. Anything else is, unfortunately, impossible.

Very pleasant and nice restaurant. Especially at this time, a lot of emphasis is placed on hygiene and cleanliness. Great breakfast, much better than in other well-known asparagus farms. Friendly, nice.... I'll be back!!!

We spent one night there with our camper through Landvergnügen and enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the morning. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The restrooms are clean and wheelchair accessible.

Disappointing quality and no response – unfortunately, no longer recommended On May 18, 2025, my husband bought second-price category asparagus from the Jacobs asparagus farm at the asparagus stand on Breite Straße, 14199 Berlin – €13 per kilo. At home, I peeled and prepared the asparagus as usual, but discovered that the quality was catastrophic. Several spears were inedible: I had to throw one away entirely, another had a slimy, rotten interior, and many spears were dry or had reddish flesh. In the end, I couldn't use about half of the asparagus I had purchased. I sent an email to Jacobs asparagus farm the same day – to this day, I have received no response. No regrets, no explanation, no concessions. After many years of loyalty to this farm, this is disappointing and unacceptable. We will no longer shop there in the future.

This isn't my first time here and I'll be back again and again.👍👍

A lovely, quiet spot with a cute farm shop and a very good restaurant. I'll definitely come back again.

A very large farm with a restaurant, farm shop, large playground, small animal enclosure, and ample parking. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the food comes in generous portions and is reasonably priced. Advance reservations are recommended on weekends during the season, but otherwise, there's plenty of seating for any group size. The playgrounds offer everything a child's heart desires, and the small animal enclosures are perfect for strolling.

Als jahrelanger und zumeist zufriedener Kunde bin ich über die aktuelle Situation entsetzt: 1. Keine wirkliche Begrüßung. Als Brandenburger sind wir ja einiges gewöhnt, aber diese Form der „Herzlichkeit“ ist nicht zu übertreffen… 2. Nur zwei von ungefähr 25 Tischen waren nicht besetzt. Trotzdem wurde unsere Getränkebestellung vergessen. Erst nach späterer Rückfrage direkt am Bartresen wurden dann die Getränke geliefert. Eine kurze Entschuldigung? NEIN und eher genervt geliefert. 3. Die Preise sind mittlerweile nicht dem Service und der Qualität angemessen.

I was at the stand at Suarezstrasse/Kantstrasse. I bought two 500g strawberries for a lot of money. They tasted absolutely nothing. When I politely told the salesperson this today, she gave me a pretty good dressing down. I would advise against buying them.

Unfortunately, it's deteriorated considerably compared to last year. The location is still beautiful, especially outside. The waiters try hard, but seem stressed. The low point is the food: rubbery potatoes with skin, overcooked asparagus, and a schnitzel that barely escaped being "burnt." The staff shortage is more than noticeable. It's a real shame considering the price. Fingers crossed that things will improve again. We've always enjoyed coming back with our guests. Unfortunately, not like this anymore.

I like shopping at the farm shop. There you can find home-slaughtered pork and game. The sausage is very close to my childhood memories. The restaurant is particularly recommended during asparagus season. The other Jakobshof in the Schäpe district directly on the A 9 is also recommended.

The food was very tasty, but also expensive. It's very loud and crowded, but it's still worth a visit. Unfortunately, there were communication problems with the staff, resulting in incorrect food being served. Unfortunately, a subsequent correction wasn't possible.

The food was okay, but none of the sauces, or of the main courses, are vegan - that leaves basically just boiled potatoes and asparagus without any condiments except salt and pepper. Service had a bad day. We waited almost 40 minutes to order the meals. Took our order, didn't check the number of meals ordered against number of guests and later, against number of dishes served. Forgot one main dish, we had to wait almost half an hour to get the missing dish brought to our table. Several times we saw the same dish brought to other tables who had arrived after us. Maybe it was because of a bus tour group, they seemed to have absolute priority.

I haven't eaten this badly in a long time! 1. The staff are extremely disorganized and unfriendly. Many young employees who can't even bring drinks after an hour. Coke spilled all over my T-shirt, and then I didn't even get an apology. 2. The food is absolutely terrible. The potatoes had a rubbery texture, and the entire meal was cold. The way the food is prepared, the conditions under which it's prepared... makes you shudder! I wouldn't recommend eating there!

I was looking forward to returning to this place after years, but the prices are exorbitant. I had schnitzel with asparagus and fried potatoes for €26.90. The meat and asparagus were lukewarm, and the fried potatoes were cold. The service wasn't professional, and unfortunately, I had to wait. I'm from Nauen and will choose Kremmen again.

The Jakobs Hof is a wonderful place for a little break. There is a great playground, a few farm animals that you can pet and the catering area is lovingly embedded on the farm. Although it wasn't particularly busy, unfortunately something went wrong with our food orders a few times (wrong side dishes), which of course happens sometimes, but above all we would like to criticize the high prices and small portion sizes. In particular, the children's portion was far too small with just one egg tart for our five-year-old child. Unfortunately, the portion for the adults was manageable, so we weren't 100% full after eating. Please rework this again, otherwise it is wonderful at Jakobs Hof.

I have been there twice since mid-April 2025. (1x for two / 1x for four) The food is delicious and menus are - if at all possible - happy to be adapted to guests' wishes. BUT: Nevertheless, the portions have become very “clear”. 4 sticks of asparagus, for example, for a menu "asparagus with potatoes and scrambled eggs" is not much (we're talking about eating asparagus!), and the food is clearly too expensive. The service was rather mediocre both times. On the first visit (2 people) they constantly wanted to serve us the food from the neighboring tables (4-6 people), on the second visit we had to wait over 30 minutes to get our bill. At that time there were 7 tables occupied outside and 4 people serving outside. Three service staff stood 3-4m away at the neighboring table and had a private conversation with guests about shoes. Conclusion: My guests from Northern Germany now take this as “typical Jakobs-Hof”. Have a good meal.

Yesterday I bought asparagus for 12 euros a kilo in the farm shop. It turned out that all the asparagus spears were brown on the inside. Very very annoying.

Waitress friendly and helpful, the service help unfortunately no, you collect empty glasses even though there is only one glass - question about any new ones = none and when they were cleared the plates were stacked at the table and a relevant amount of melted butter got from the plate onto the partner's pants..., there was no apology from the person clearing away, the waitress found an excuse with a note to charge for the cleaning costs... but the stains will remind us of a nice afternoon, greetings

Wow, that was bad. The food, in our case “crispy schnitzel with asparagus” for a reasonable €26.90, was fried fast food. The schnitzel was extremely thin and had a sour taste. When asked, the hollandaise sauce is “of course not homemade”… For an asparagus restaurant, you could have expected it. The petting enclosure is not for petting and the worst part is the playground. Almost everything is defective and broken and getting old. Very commercial and made for the undemanding Berlin audience. It's a shame, but it's working. The only positive thing is the Flämminger beer.

The courtyard view is nice, but the service and food are so bad that a relaxing experience turned into a terrible experience. First we were taken from a table without a reserved sign to a group seat with several people, and then the food was absolutely bad. We finished off with an ice cream sundae. The strawberries were sour, the ice cream was noticeably cheap from the discount store and the whipped cream wasn't even whipped but from a cheap can that was probably right next to the ice cream. Very disappointing.... Very disappointing indeed. If you want to be driven away from the table and have a really bad experience, come here.

The food was really a disaster, which I told the waiter. Asparagus soup was too salty, schnitzel almost burnt, potatoes with thick skin because they had been lying around for too long, hollandaise sauce didn't taste good at all, the vegetables reminded me of my canteen food at school... As far as the food is concerned, we are very disappointed. The waiters wanted to clear the plates during the meal. All this for over €100! The grounds are nice, especially for the kids.

We were invited to a birthday party here. It was a nice atmosphere and helped make it a successful celebration. The food was good, but not outstanding. But everything was okay. I can't say anything about the prices, we were invited.
