Basically delicious: good gyros and crispy fries. Some sauce could be included, the prices are actually set high enough for that. Normally you can eat the club sandwich for two people, but last time 2 out of 4 pieces had almost no meat in them, so €15 is too much for that.

Gyros Pita to take away: Unfortunately the meat and bread were cold after about 3 minutes of getting home. There was a lot of garlic in the tzatziki. Otherwise surprisingly tasty considering it was served cold.

Known for many years, and also with increased prices in 2024, high-quality gyros provider! We were served quickly, were able to wait at tables outside and were then called loudly (although without a loudspeaker, like next door at 🐮🐄😜) to pick up at the counter. I really liked the Greek version (everything warm with fries, ketchup and mustard). My wife prefers it “German” with cold tzatziki and coleslaw on the warm, crispy pork. Full recommendation!!!

Definitely one of the best pita gyros I've ever eaten. Very friendly service, which provides quick and focused service despite the often heavy traffic.

Absolute cult shop. Everything has already been said here but I'll give it a try😋 Great meat quality, not overly seasoned and of course in taste. Various selection of fresh salads and my absolute favorite, the homemade tzatziki as they should be. Creamy consistency with no aftertaste. When you look at the skewer you can see how elaborately it is put together. The meat lobes are cut so thin that you could see through them 😁 I definitely recommend them 🎉

Ordered 2x large gyro plates, once with tzatziki. Even though I had specifically written that the fries should still be hot and that the salad and tzatziki should be packed SEPARATELY, everything came squished together in one bowl. As a result, the few fries from the watery salad tasted sour and were already quite cold. The price of 14 euros is not justified if you save on meat and fries because you take up so much space in the bowl for tzatziki and salad... The tzatziki and the meat both taste great. However, I am very disappointed because space is given for comments, but the addition is then completely ignored!!!

The “unbuttoned” one in particular is highly recommended.

So far I've "only" eaten the club sandwich. Absolutely sufficient for lunch for two. Large portion, reasonable price and simply delicious! The two employees were very friendly and even gave us €5 that had fallen out of our pockets. We'd love to come back!

We were there for the first time and left super full and happy. The gyros are really top quality (great taste and juicy) and the fries and the coleslaw, as well as the tzatziki, are also absolutely delicious 😋 We would love to come back and can definitely recommend it 👍🏻

For me the perfect gyros shop in Cologne. There are delicious gyros in different variations and with a wide variety of sauces. Everything is absolutely delicious and homemade. The fries are an insider tip and like something from my childhood. The pita in the picture is called “the classic”, just for your information.

For me, by far the best gyros I've ever eaten. Many people told me it was great etc. and I was never so convinced when I tried this shop. And I have to say: fantastic! For me there is no hotter gyro than there! I will recommend it to everyone and go there again and again!

Jakob Gyros has been on my list for a long time. Because of the good reviews and personal recommendations from my friends. At this restaurant I tried out the NeoTaste app for the first time. The friendly and courteous employee briefly explained to me how it works. However, let's get to the more important thing. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the skewer looked hearty and not a bit too dry. Very clean everything. The vegetables also looked fresh & tasty. Now let's get to our orders. Crispy, soft, hearty and well-seasoned meat. Currently the best gyros in Cologne. Nothing objectionable. In terms of price, it is also optimal, adapted to the increases, but still affordable. Will definitely visit again soon and try a dish. The pitas seemed to have filled us up. Fries were an insider tip, perfectly crispy & properly salted without going overboard. Bravo!

I was just there and ordered a gyros pita with a small fries. The employee was very friendly and the prices are also fair. Fries was quite good 7/10 But the Gyros Pita is definitely a 10/10!! I really enjoyed the salad, sauce, bread and, most importantly, the meat. A clear recommendation from me!!

Very close Greek taste gyros pita to eat. Little bit expensive for the portion.

Ich war jetzt zwei mal hier. Beim ersten mal fand ich das Fleisch etwas trocken, aber dennoch lecker. Beim zweiten mal war dann aber das Fleisch saftig und gut gegrillt. Werde also gerne wieder kommen.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Ich kann den Klassiker ausdrücklich empfehlen. Definitiv einen Abstecher wert, um Abwechslung vom 0815 Döner Kebap zu bekommen. Super gut gewürztes Fleisch und Tzatziki. Freundliches Personal.

Update: Der Krautsalat schmeckt mittlerweile immer unangenehm ölig. Im Lieferservice gibt es beim normalen Gyros komplett wirklich wenig Fleisch. Und das Metaxa Gyros, ebenfalls beim Lieferservice, ist in Laufe der Zeit schon 2 Mal kleiner geworden - das ist aktuell eine Kinderoption. Nehmt doch bitte einfach einen Euro mehr! Der Laden ist sauber, das Personal ist freundlich. Besonders hat mit gefallen, dass das Fleisch schön dünn geschnitten wurde. Der Krautsalat hat scheinbar keinen, oder nur wenig, Zucker. Super! Die Preise sind nicht ganz so günstig, ich komme aber trotzdem gerne wieder!

Essen hätte zwar wahrscheinlich geschmeckt, wenn es nicht 1,5h zu spät und Kalt angekommen wäre!

Bitte nicht mit Hund dort rein.. da sind Giftköder(nicht verschlossen.. wahrscheinlich für Mäuse) ausgelegt. Ein Hund schon qualvoll daran gestorben.

Über NeoTaste hier gelandet und der Laden ist hervorragend. Das Essen (Klassik und der Grieche als Pita) ist extrem schmackhaft und definitiv zu empfehlen! Für 7,00€ auch preisgünstig und eine große Portion.

Ich find es ganz lecker, aber die Gyros-Offenbarung ist es dann auch nicht. Da gibt es deutlich bessere, bei denen auch die Gyros/ Pommes Ratio stimmt. Die letzen Male als ich hier war, habe ich eher Pommes mit Gyros bekommen und nicht Gyros mit Pommes. Aber vielleicht gibt es Kunden, die dies anders sehen.

Die Bewertungen im Internet haben nicht zu viel versprochen. Es gibt viele Imbisse die Gyros anbieten, aber der von Jakob Gyros ist wirklich Spitze. „Der Grieche“ ist einfach nur stark, Gyros Pita mit Senf, Ketchup, Tomaten und Pommes, Wahnsinn!!! Der Gyros Komplett war auch sehr gut, das Fleisch hat eine Top Qualität. Preislich ist es hier evtl. 1 Euro teurer, dafür erhält man ausgezeichnete Produkte.

Einer der besten Gyros Läden in der Stadt. Konstant gute Qualität, jeden Tag frisch vor Ort angefertigte Spieße. Das Club Sandwich ist ein Super Mittags-Deal, wenn man es mit 2 Personen teilt.

Sind durch NeoTaste auf den Laden gekommen. Wir hatten die Pita Klassik und Grieche. Grieche war mir persönlich etwas zu trocken (zu wenig Ketchup und Senf). Klassik war top was die Menge des Tzatzikis angeht. Das Pitabrot selber war sehr lecker und das Fleisch auch :) Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und jeder Tisch wurde sofort sauber gemacht wenn die Leute gegangen sind. Top!

Good place to grab a gyros pita for the hunger. Food is quite good, prices are reasonable. Good value for money. The only issue we had was the food was very, very salty. However, I will try it again.

Bin durch NeoTaste auf Jakob Gyros aufmerksam geworden. Die Gyros Pita schmeckt sensationell. Saftiges Gyros, weiches Brot, optimales Zusammenspiel der weiteren Zutaten und Berücksichtigung von Sonderwünschen. Klare Empfehlung! Die Toiletten sind akzeptabel, mehr nicht.

Habe ein Gyros Pita gegessen. Der Pita Fladen ist knusprig gebacken. Portion tendenziell klein. Das Fleisch war aber das beste was ich bisher probiert habe. Auch die Würze ist nicht zu aufdringlich. Top Qualität. Auch das Völlegefühl im Bauch was ich oft habe nach einem Gyros Gericht war nicht vorhanden danach. Essen frei von Zusätzen.

Das Pidebrot war fluffig, das Fleisch gut gewürzt und in der Kombo mit der Soße das beste Gyros-Pide meines bisherigen Lebens. Das Lokal ist etwas klein aber die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich. Empfehlung von mir.

War lecker besser geht's immer Preis Leistung super

Ich war jetzt schon öfters mit meinem kleinen Sohn dort, alle Mitarbeiter sind super kinderfreundlich, locker und sehr nett. Wir fühlen uns immer wieder aufs Neue sehr wohl und das Essen ist super lecker, schnell auf dem Tisch und schmeckt immer frisch. Nur zu empfehlen!!!
