Sowohl das Essen als auch der Service sind mit Abstand das beste was wir in Dessau gegessen haben. Ein absolutes kulinarisches Highlight mit der Wildkarte.

Alles war sauber, der Service freundlich, das Essen sah hausgemacht aus und war hervorragend zubereitet, der Hamburger war ein Gedicht. Ich hätte nie gedacht, dass ich jemals so einen leckeren Hamburger essen könnte.

Leckere deutsche Küche, ruhiger Biergarten, sehr freundliche Bedienung. War nur ein kurzer Abstecher von der Autobahn.

Üppige und sehr leckere Wildgerichte, nettes achtsames Personal, sehr zu Empfehlen. Immer wieder gern.

Absolut Empfehlenswert, wir waren mit der ganzen Familie da und wir haben schon lange nicht mehr so gut in einem Deutschen Restaurant gegessen. Klösse Rotkohl und das Wildschwein waren ein Gaumenschmaus. Wir kommen wieder

Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis: 23 Euro pro Person und jeder davon ist danach voll gewesen, weil die Portionen sehr groß sind. Das schmackhafte Essen würde von der freundlichen und aufmerksamen, aber unaufdringlichen Bedienung schnell an den Platz gebracht (Wartezeit ca. 15 Minuten) Den Außenbereich haben wir aufgrund der Temperaturen nicht genutzt, aber es hätten auch Decken für die Frischluftgenießer bereitgestellt. Dies war aber gut, da wir so den mit Jagdtrophäen geschmückten Gastraum genießen konnten.

Sehr nette Bedienung und das Essen war super lecker. Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Es ist sehr zu empfehlen also immer einen Halt wert.

Wir waren spontan in der Jägerklause essen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Das Essen kam schnell und war lecker. Wer bodenständige und deftige Gerichte sucht, wird hier fündig. Zum Abschluss gab es ein Schokoküchlein mit Eis und Karamell, es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt :)

Wir (4 Erwachsene und ein Kind) waren am 14.03.26 seit Ewigkeiten mal wieder dort essen, auf Empfehlung. Die Empfehlung war auch echt zurecht. Das Essen war Geschmacklich gut und von der Menge her ausreichend. Alle sind satt geworden. Die Ausstattung ist Altbacken, aber es ist sauber. Der Service war freundlich und flexibel. Unter‘m Strich haben wir etwas über 100€ bezahlt für 5 Essen und 6 Getränke. Preis/Leistung zu den aktuell teuren Zeiten, absolut in Ordnung 👍 Wir kommen wieder.

Für uns war es ein kleiner Zwischenstopp, wir waren sehr positiv überrascht. Sehr freundlichen hell. Die zwei flotten Damen der Bedienung, sind sehr aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Toiletten wirklich sauber. Das Essen war gut Gewürz und einfach ein Gaumenschmaus. Lange warten musste man auch nicht.

They also offer recommendations if you're unsure. I find that very pleasant. We can highly recommend it 👍 and we felt very comfortable. The food was also delicious! We'd be happy to come back.

A clear menu with game and seasonal dishes. There's something for every taste. Here, the customer is still king, and plates can be customized from a variety of dishes. Fast drinks delivery, friendly service, and we'd be happy to return. Important: Reserve a table in advance.

I was visiting Dessau with my grandma. We were looking for a place to eat for lunch and came across the Jägerklause. The food was excellent, and the value for money was also excellent. The service was very friendly and prompt. And most importantly, Grandma was also very satisfied and felt very comfortable. Thank you. We would love to come back.

An insider tip for good German cuisine, even on holidays. It's best to reserve your next table before you say goodbye. Everything from game to fish and beef is available, and it's incredibly delicious.

Curiosity drove us here. A restaurant entirely dedicated to wild food. If you enjoy wild food, this is the place for you. We found the taste okay...but don't expect top-notch cooking. The ambiance takes some getting used to these days...lots of dead animals and a simple, dated interior. The overall impression was good, though.

I had roast with horseradish sauce. The potatoes were superb, the meat perfect, and the sauce was a dream. My wife had the red cabbage roulade, and that was also excellent. For two meals and two drinks, it came to just under €50. So, it's a good price. Highly recommended. Thank you, we'll be back.

First the positive: very friendly staff, diverse selection, good beers (Bayreuther, Staropramen dark, Duckstein), unfortunately the taste of the food was only average. Maybe we just ordered the wrong dish or the chef wasn't having his best day, but in any case the food didn't impress us.

A very nice restaurant specializing in game. But non-game eaters will also get their money's worth. We were a large group. Everyone got their food at the same time. The service is good. The staff is friendly. Our dogs also farted into the restaurant. The toilets were neat and clean.

Unfortunately there was only one Christmas menu. Therefore there is no option to eat anything else and not even a selection from their own website. This was not pointed out on site. Some of the food was cold and the taste was very bad. The service seemed calm to me, not very accommodating. Not worth a second visit for me. And we weren't a small group

Yesterday we were back at the Jägerklause after a break of several years. I have to say, I was absolutely positively surprised. An interesting menu, not just run-of-the-mill game, makes you want more, to eat the things that I have never eaten in my life despite my age. There were 15 of us and everyone was very happy with their food. I would definitely like to highlight the Christmas dessert that was on offer and I ordered. I've never eaten anything so delicious. Taste explosion on my palate, with every bite a different delicious taste. Oh, it said: plum jelly with cinnamon ice cream, cream and speculoos... Just the right thing after my venison carpaccio and my roast venison as a main course. Our waitress took good care of us and the atmosphere was bright, friendly, clean and inviting. The price/performance ratio is also good here. We will definitely visit the Jägerklause more often, it 100% deserved it that evening.

We had a small celebration (no lunch), we found it very expensive. Not again so soon, what a shame.

After ordering, our group was seated at the table and served quickly, but not hastily, in a friendly manner. A compliment to the waitress, who divided the table bill into the groups without any errors.

Food was so-so. Schnitzel looked like it came from a deep fryer, spagel was a bit firm. Plates were already being cleared away even though someone was still eating...

Reminds me of GDR times, as almost everything still looks the same as it did 30 years ago. It's not bad, but a renovation would make the ambience much better and friendlier. But the food is good overall, except my salmon dish was extremely poor in taste...not value for money

When I arrived, I was the only guest, so I had time to look around. Unfortunately I can only rate the restaurant from the inside, as you can't see anything outside. The service was friendly and quick, the food was very good and the restaurant itself was clean and well maintained. All around a harmonious evening. I would like to come back, but only in spring or summer to see everything.

If you're in the mood for good, hearty and very tasty German food among all the kebab shops, Asian stalls and pizza huts, you shouldn't be afraid of going to Jägerklause. In addition to the schnitzel pan, there are also delicious game dishes, soups, salads and desserts. And not far away you can then take a digestive walk through the Bauhaus settlement in Dessau. Oh yes, and the opening times are from midday to evening and the toilets are very clean.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Noch die so gehobenes deutsches Essen gegessen. Bedienung war sehr freundlich und Essen/Getränke wurden schnell geliefert. Ambiente war gepflegt und schön im alten deutschen Stil.
