Jägerhof Rheindahlen in Mönchengladbach

Haven't been here for a while. Well-known, very stylish atmosphere… the service was very attentive and friendly. The schnitzel with pepper sauce and fried potatoes was very, very tasty 👍

I had three guests from all over Germany visiting and based on the good experiences last summer, I booked a table for four people. We chose three different dishes and everyone was disappointed with the food 😞. The potatoes with the asparagus were too firm, this also applied to the baked potato, the asparagus was too al dente and the currywurst, fries and sauce were cold. In addition, the portions were small. The price-performance ratio was not right. I apologized to my guests for recommending this restaurant. 😞

Very tasty in a nice relaxed atmosphere

Went to the Jägerhof again after about a year. The team is different. Friendly and accommodating. Luckily that hasn't changed. The menu is significantly smaller, but absolutely sufficient for my taste. Today I ate the salad bowl with falafel and the sesame dressing. For dessert there was a fluffy, sweet Kaiserschmarren. All very tasty. I can only recommend the alcohol-free Bolten Alt in the Stubbi. It was a very nice evening. 😊

We spontaneously visited the Jägerhof and received a friendly welcome. The service team was very busy, but they didn't let on. The drinks and food arrived very quickly, and it was delicious. The only annoying thing was the music. It was clearly audible in the back, but the bass sound we heard at the front was almost nonexistent.

The best waiters and waitresses I know. Absolutely top-notch! The food is always fresh and fast. It's also great for the kids. We're coming here more and more often.

We like to eat there. Staff very friendly, helpful and reliable. We're looking forward to being able to sit outside together again in the summer because of the atmosphere.

Delicious food - there were even some vegetarian dishes on the menu, friendly waiter. Unfortunately, he dropped a beer glass and the contents hit my girlfriend (I would have found it appropriate if she had gotten a nightcap as an apology...) Since it was full, the volume was correspondingly high - but that happens everywhere when a restaurant is busy.

The service at Jägerhof Rheindahlen is simply first class! The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive and makes you feel completely comfortable. Every wish is fulfilled with a smile, and the warm atmosphere makes the visit particularly pleasant. We would love to come back and can highly recommend this restaurant!

The Jägerhof Rheindahlen is a real recommendation for anyone who likes home-style German cuisine. The food is fresh and really tasty! We particularly liked the sauerbraten and the pepper cream schnitzel. The highlight was the Kaiserschmarrn as dessert. The very friendly and attentive staff makes you feel right at home. That's another reason why it's worth a visit. The portions are generous, the quality is impressive and the prices are absolutely fair. We had a really nice evening and will definitely be back soon. Absolute recommendation!

Good food and good service! Very friendly, attentive, etc. The portions are also more than enough! Then why 1 star deduction? 1.) Unfortunately the Bolten Uralt wasn't cold enough for me... If the Cola Zero is colder than the beer, then something is wrong (for me). Maybe it's also subjective. When I asked, they felt the beer with their hands and said it was from a barrel and therefore the temperature was normal... I often drink beer from a barrel and it is usually definitely colder. I found it a shame that they didn't at least try to find a solution (e.g. offer bottled beer, etc.) Ultimately the beer was "acceptably" cold, so only a small minus point. 2.) Because there were unexpectedly many guests the day before, some dishes were no longer available. Since the selection is quite manageable anyway, that makes a difference. Since I had made a reservation by phone beforehand, it would have been nice to have pointed this out on the phone. Otherwise everything is good! The service was very attentive and, as you could tell at the neighboring table, they were also very fond of children. Despite the small points of criticism, we would be happy to come back! But then maybe you'd rather have a bottled beer. 😉

The Jägerhof is always worth a visit. The price-performance ratio of the food is really good, especially the currywurst is recommended. The service is friendly and courteous and the atmosphere invites you to linger. Especially in summer you can sit well in the courtyard.

Hats off! We got a table at short notice for December 25th. We were thrilled on all levels. The food was TOP. Quality TOP! You're happy to pay a little more for that. The dessert was an experience! This Kaiserschmarrn...incredibly delicious! Service was excellent and what is important to us, child friendly! Changing table available. The ambience was very nice. Maybe a little criticism. Some quiet music was missing.

Had dinner with 5 people on Saturday evening. Breast and leg with the usual side dishes. The stars speak for themselves. Very tasty, we'll be back.

Great atmosphere, the menu could offer a little more choice and the prices are too expensive for what's on the plate.

By chance we were traveling in the city, in the Rheindahlen district, and were wondering where we would get something to eat... we quickly found the phone number on the Internet and sat down in the car right in front of the door and asked whether they are open... a nice lady said on the phone, yes, we are open until 8 p.m. today. We then went in and unpacked our traditional wooden game board "Don't be angry" and the lady came over with a young, handsome man with a cool frieze and showed us a nice place. In the pictures you can see that there was a delicious meal, freshly cooked and the mashed potatoes are one of the best you can get in Mönchengladbach. The schnitzel was in the pan for a moment too long, but that's not a bad thing, the other things were perfect. The bratwurst is of great quality and the sauce is wonderful. If you find the sauce a little too spicy, you can use mashed potatoes to put it in the right spiciness category. The prices are super reasonable, so it's fun to tip a little more than usual. We wish the new tenants who have only been there a week all the best and thank you for continuing. We simply packed the rest of dinner in our Tupperware container, as you can see in the photo, and the meat will end up on the breakfast table tomorrow and give us pleasure a second time.

Historically yet modernly furnished restaurant with a small menu. The staff is very friendly and the food was good, reasonably priced and served very quickly. It was a spontaneous visit that was worth it. We will definitely go there again.

Today we had dinner at the Jägerhof again after a long time. The atmosphere, food and service were great, right up until the moment we left: as soon as we were in front of the door, it was literally slammed shut in our presence, almost 2 hours before the regular closing time. Unfortunately, that somewhat ruined the overall experience of the evening. Even though we were the last guests, you had the feeling of being happy to be able to call it a day. As a reminder: posted opening time: 11 p.m. Too bad!

Was eating at the Jägerhof for the first time. What first caught my eye were the sophisticated dishes. The restaurant has a nice beer garden with very quick service. The food is of good quality. You can find out about the prices in the menu, for some it is unaffordable and for others they simply swipe their bank card.

Somehow a pearl in the area. Delicious food served quickly. Ok, the menu is clear but there is something for everyone. It's annoying that individual dishes may be out, but there are alternatives available. We will return home completely full and satisfied.

Nice service with humor. Quaint brewery-style restaurant with a nice square-style beer garden. The tables outside are only big enough for 2 people when eating. The schnitzel was good but didn't blow me away. Rather something smaller and a little less hunter sauce. But you would definitely have gotten something back. Delicious beer. Modern, clean toilets, barrier-free access. Hats off! A visit is recommended.

The ambience and service were really great! In any case, it's highly recommended. We were there for Burger Monday. There is a lot to see and discover. A beautiful courtyard and rooms for celebrations. The sanitary facilities are also well maintained and modern. There is a charging station for ferry bikes. A good choice to take a break, especially in summer. The food was good for burgers.

Was there for the first time after the renovation and I have to say, it was visually inviting :) The beer is exactly my taste, I've always liked Bolten. It's a shame that Bolten Rubin is no longer available, but the Natur Pilsener also tastes really good. The food came quickly, was very good (we had the Jägerhof schnitzel) and the service was always very friendly! However, you should definitely remember to reserve in advance as all normal tables were reserved. But we were still able to sit at the high tables.

Nice premises. You are immediately greeted in a friendly manner. The staff is generally very friendly and accommodating. The food was always very tasty. Even our little son always finds something. Generally very child-friendly, which means a relaxed meal for us as parents. Bonus: food for the little ones comes first.

A very nice evening. We were at the Jägerhof with seven people for the first time and certainly not for the last time. The food was very good, the portion was large and nicely prepared. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is cozy, modern and invites you to linger. The price-performance ratio for food is good, the drinks prices are on the higher side. Unfortunately, the performance is not sufficient for the prices demanded. The schnitzels are deep fried. There are no fried potatoes, only side dishes from the deep fryer. The fries were soggy. In the "mushroom" cream schnitzel there are only 3-4 Alibi mushrooms to be found. That's weak at a price of €21.50 for a schnitzel. The service, however, was good. The salad was also delicious. In Mennrath you can still eat much better with larger portions and fairer prices!

The service and food was sensational. The restaurant is very nicely decorated. However, a bit too much children's noise for my opinion. But it's definitely not always like that and not everyone, like me, would like to enjoy a little more peace and quiet. But still absolutely recommended and the 5 stars are deserved. I can't say anything about the prices. As a Swiss, I'm used to different (higher) prices. Hopefully I can come again.

The restaurant is very nice and there is nothing to complain about in terms of service. Unfortunately I didn't think the food was worth the price. The wild burger was quite dry and absolutely carelessly prepared. On a bike ride I would stop for a drink but not eat.

Die Aussage einer Rezession hier kann ich garnicht nachvollziehen ! Wir sind regelmäßig und gerne im Jägerhof. Man wird als Gast immer freundlich empfangen, die Kellner sind sehr aufmerksam und auf Zack. Die wechselnde Speisekarte finde ich super und bietet viel Abwechslung, zu dem stimmen die Portionen und das Preisleistungsverhältnis. Denke das ein bisschen Unkraut vor der Türe nicht ein Restaurant ausmacht! So ein rundum Service mit guter Küche und netten Kellnern ist heute noch schwer zu finden vor allem nach der Coronazeit ! Das Personal vom Jägerhof ist echt ein tolles Team !

ESSEN: Portionen teilweise sehr klein. Unterschiedliche Qualität , das ist schade. SERVICE Sehr freundlich manchmal etwas langsam AMBIENTE Aussen etwas ungepflegt mit dem ganzen Unkraut. Innen sehr gemütlich und schön.

Wir waren mit 4 Personen inklusive Gutscheinbuch dort essen. Was soll ich sagen? Es war wirklich super. Das Essen sehr schmackhaft und für mein dafürhalten frisch. Der Service ganz toll , supernettes Sevicepesonal . Das Ambiente ist wirklich sehr ansprechend, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Gutscheinbuch ohne zu murren akzeptiert ( kennen wir auch anders) . Wir werden definitiv ( auch ohne Gutscheinbuch) wieder kommen.

Man kann zwar schön dort sitzen und sich unterhalten, auch das Personal ist sehr höflich,...aber die Essensportionen sind viel zu klein. Die Kalbsleber war eher eine Vorspeise als ein Hauptgericht, dazu noch viel zu teuer!

Ich war gestern zum ersten Mal im Jägerhof und sehr positiv überrascht. Der gemütliche Speiseraum, die Auswahl der Speisen und Getränke, die Qualität des Essens und die Freundlichkeit im Service ... alles hat gestimmt. Dazu noch ein faires Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Wir haben den mexikanischen Abend hier genossen. Mit Live Musik und sehr leckerem 8 Gänge Menü. Alle Speisen auf den Punkt. Eine wirklich leckere und gelungene Zusammenstellung. Ein eingespieltes Team, schneller und freundlicher Service.

Sehr schönes, gemütliches Restaurant mit angenehmer Atmosphäre. Wir saßen im Biergarten, der im Innenhof des Lokals angelegt ist. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und das Essen gut.
