After having tried 3 consecutive evenings in this excellent restaurant I can leave a review. Everything is perfect, the waiters are very friendly and offer good recommendations. The dishes we tried were all perfect, special mention for the antipasti. Good atmosphere, cleanliness and beautiful decoration.

I was there with my family. We had a very nice night. The food had a special taste. The service was at the right level. I recommend you to visit this place to have a relaxing, wonderful time.☺️

We drove to Rust for Europa Park and wanted to have a romantic meal the evening before. At first I searched my fingers sore because there were either only the overpriced, not tasty Europa Park restaurants or old, not particularly nice restaurants. Then I came across Jacky's restaurant and was thrilled! The atmosphere is beautiful and we had a great evening there! The service was very courteous and nice. At first I was given the wrong main course, but that was corrected immediately. My burrata pizza tasted extremely delicious. Our Lillet Wild Berry Cocktail was very refreshing and had the right balance. The spaetzle with the cream sauce was so delicious, rarely had such a good sauce! And my chocolate mousse dessert with cherry was a real dream, I've rarely had such a large, delicious dessert in a restaurant. In general, the portion sizes are really generous, it may not be the cheapest restaurant but it is very tasty and very large portions, you will definitely be full. The ox cheeks of my companion were also extremely tender and the red wine sauce was very intense, it was just great and we can only recommend it to you! (:

The only dining restaurant in this area that looks like a tourist trap at first sight, but that's not the case - service is a fine dining level, the food is high quality and the prices are fair. I even enjoyed the music. I just came from my third visit there and it gets better every time.

Nice ambience. Delicious food. Good wine selection and pizzas in particular. Unfortunately very warm inside in summer due to the glass construction. The outside area is nicely laid out, but relatively small and not heavily shaded in the evenings. High standard, which is definitely noticeable in the food and service.

I am a regular guest and am completely impressed. I find the architecture and ambience of Jacky's Glass House very appealing. The service is excellent, especially because I eat alone sometimes and don't want to wait. The menu is Mediterranean, I find the food tasty, beautifully presented and, in addition to basics such as pizza and pasta, it also offers very good meat dishes. I would also like to note that the restaurant is barrier-free - something I particularly appreciate when I take people with disabilities to dinner.

We had an appointment with Steffen Himmelsbach today at 7 p.m. We wanted to celebrate our child's baptism there and wanted to discuss with Mr. Himmelsbach today what options there are for the celebration. When we came in we were told that Mr. Himmelsbach wasn't there and the nice gentleman who was supposed to discuss the whole thing with us was told 10 minutes in advance that he should take over because Mr. Himmelsbach wasn't coming. The appointment lasted all of 5 minutes because the poor employee was completely unprepared. So we decided not to make a new date for the meeting and to celebrate the baptism somewhere else. We kept Sunday evening free for this and went there for free. We're really pissed off. So we didn't expect so much unprofessionalism. thanks for nothing

Very cozy and delicious breakfast. It wasn't a problem to bring gluten-free bread. Unfortunately there are no gluten-free alternatives on site. But I knew that in advance and had a pleasant morning.

Disturbingly loud background noise. Food great, service friendly and accommodating. PLV slightly lifted. The noise didn't create any comfort, even though the restaurant wasn't fully booked. Therefore we will no longer visit the restaurant.

Ambience was great. The weather cooperated and we sat outside. The waitresses were very nice. The pizzas were a little more expensive but tasted very good. The drink selection is also large. It was fun. If we're in the area again, we'll come back.

Jacky is an old hand in the catering industry and his glasshouse has often convinced me of its quality in terms of food and drinks and perfect service. The store is open on Mondays, which is a rarity around here. I come often.

€74.80 for 2 adults and a toddler. The food itself was good, but ultimately "too little" for the price - the meat was a bit bland in taste in both cases (1x fitness salad with chicken €22, 1x Wienerschnitzel with potato salad €27.50) and the sizes seemed to vary the Schnützel here very much! Mine was rather small, after that some schnitzels came out of the kitchen that looked a bit out of the box with the same arrangement! A children's portion of naked pasta (tossed in butter) with cheese (Parmesan) €10.50!... For a 0.33l juice spritzer you pay 4.20! The request to make a still passion fruit juice spritzer for our child was billed as 1x still water and 1x juice -> 6.40!! For a total of 0.45l drink. The more people came into the Glaushaus, the louder it became and the more hectic the waiters became. We are full! But won't come again in terms of price/performance. Staff was friendly!

During our stay in Dimas Hotel, we had the pleasure of dining at Jackys Glashaus not once, but four times, and each visit was fantastic. The warmth and professionalism of the staff made every meal a delightful experience. Their attentive service, coupled with their genuine friendliness, made us feel right at home. The culinary offerings are simply outstanding. Each dish we was a masterpiece, showcasing the chef's skill and dedication to quality. From the perfectly cooked entrees to the delectable desserts, every bite was a testament to their commitment to excellence. We were so impressed that we kept coming back, and each visit only solidified our admiration for this wonderful restaurant. We would recommend to anyone visiting the area. It has certainly become a highlight of our trip, and we look forward to returning on our next visit to Germany.

Mediocre Italian food at absolutely overpriced prices. I was absolutely not happy with the food. Once and never again. I regret every cent I paid. The service also leaves a lot to be desired, there is no condition after the meal.

We spontaneously went to Jacky's for dinner with the family because we were looking for something different than the typical “German inn food” and had different needs when it came to dinner. Everything from the menu that was ordered was of exceptionally good quality and the portions were very large. From pizza to pasta, starters, meat & fish, everything was simply brilliantly good. Everyone was very happy (which rarely happens). In addition to the good cuisine, the highlight of our visit was clearly the service - big praise to all the service employees, especially Mandy (?) - we felt like we were at home with her! The way she addressed all of our different needs and “handled” our chaotic family was simply awesome! Very big recommendation!!!

Absolutely perfect. Nice attentive service and the boss also takes care, nothing is missing. Food is a dream and with top fresh ingredients and actually too cheap for that. The ambience is unique and spacious thanks to the combination of wood and glass. Definitely not too loud, but not a cemetery atmosphere either. Luckily there is something going on and there is a relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere. An insider tip in South Baden.

One of the best restaurants in Ettenheim and the surrounding area in terms of ambience, food and service. Very nicely located with plenty of parking spaces and charging stations for electric vehicles. Next door is a first-class superior hotel “DiMas” with large family rooms, which is very popular with EuroPark visitors (approx. 7 minutes drive from here). We love being here!

Very cool, new, modern location. It looks like a greenhouse, is comfortably furnished and air-conditioned. Service was friendly and quick, the price for the lunch menu (€16.90) was still reasonable. Definitely worth a visit. If there was a charging station for electric cars in the parking lot it would be perfect ;-)

The institution is wonderful! Nice spacious atmosphere. The dishes are presented in a presentable way (except for the creamy veal schnitzel). Employees are attentive and kind. Here you can eat delicious food, drink a glass of wine, or just enjoy a cup of coffee. Special thanks to the fact that this restaurant is suitable for children. Natural areas and placement create a feeling of open space. Today, this evening reminded us of the safe and cozy home that it was before the war, which, unfortunately, was destroyed by Russian soldiers in my city. I rarely write reviews. We thank the employees of the institution for a pleasant experience, albeit with a taste of bitterness, but faith in the future for the children. Glory to Ukraine !

The six of us had breakfast there this morning and were really completely satisfied. The service was impeccable, very friendly and asked at exactly the right moment whether we could have anything else. The platter for two had just the right amount and was super delicious - highly recommended!

The food came quickly and the service was the best part of the visit. This was our second time there, but this time it was just too loud. If that doesn't bother you, you might be in good hands there, it's not my case...as far as pizza is concerned...there are better ones for the same or even less money, you just have to say that. It's a shame, I was hoping for more!

Super nice atmosphere, great location. The food was also delicious, although a little more expensive. After ordering our dessert, we were unfortunately somewhat disappointed by the service. Tiramisu and panna cotta were ordered. However, tiramisu and chocolate mousse with cherries arrived. After a complaint, another mousse and ice cream were delivered to us. After explaining again that we had ordered panna cotta, we asked in the kitchen and found that it wasn't available today. The service should know this. He should also know what panna cotta looks like. We were then asked if Creme Brulee would also be okay. We agreed to that. We wanted to pay and were asked whether EC or cash. We chose EC, but still had a voucher. Unfortunately, the service was unable to offset the voucher against debit, saying they had never done that before. Well, we scraped together all the cash and left it with a good tip. Unfortunately we didn't get a receipt either. We are also used to having what we ordered read to us. At home we noticed that of course panna cotta was used instead of crème brulee. We think it's a shame and would have expected more.

The food was good, but a little more expensive. The service was excellent and very friendly. Unfortunately, the glass house is a bit open in concept, so it can get very loud when it's full.

There were 8 people invited to a birthday party with a total bill of over €400. For this price the food is a disgrace! Starting with the starter of my dish, I wasn't served the salad because the other guests had ordered it separately. After I asked if I wouldn't be served the salad with the others, I was looked at stupidly and after hesitating I was told please wait a moment The salad was served to me after almost 5 minutes. The salad was served in a small bowl (the other guests had a normal plate) which was so inconvenient because it was so full that things kept flying into it. At the beginning there was hardly any dressing on the salad, which meant that it tasted almost like nothing. I ordered the veal cream schnitzel with spaetzle as my main course and I have to say that I have never eaten something so bad in a restaurant. If I had been there alone I would have sent it back but I didn't want to make a scene so I just ate it. The veal schnitzel was tough (how is that possible? I didn't think that could be the case), the spaetzle was just like those cheap ready-made spaetzle from Aldi and co. Tasted they were slightly rubbery and didn't have much of their own flavor. The desserts weren't exactly overwhelming either. The tiramisu for example It tasted very flat and watery and the others weren't particularly enthusiastic about their desserts or the food. Normally I wouldn't have written a review, but at these prices it's an absolute disgrace to even offer something like this in my opinion and it's absolutely not worth recommending.

Sehr gutes Essen in wunderschöner Atmosphäre. Der Service macht auch einen super Job, obwohl abends immer jeder Tisch besetzt ist! Mittags bekommt man oft auch ohne Reservierung einen Platz, würde dennoch eine Reservierung empfehlen um sicher einen Tisch zu bekommen.

Waren zum ersten Mal im Glashaus. Wir hatten ein wenig das Gefühl in einer Kantine zu sein. Das Ambiente eigentlich sehr gemütlich jedoch zu laut und alles etwas hektisch. Essen war ok, Bedienung freundlich aber irgendwie aufdringlich. Man bekommt das Gefühl schnell abgefertigt zu werden um Platz für den nächsten zahlenden Kunden zu machen.

Das Essen hat mir persönlich nicht außergewöhnlich gut geschmeckt, der gute Wein hat das jedoch wieder etwas ausgeglichen. Die location ist echt schön, die einrichtung ist modern und sehr gemütlich. Eine Kellnerin war jedoch ständig mürrisch und sehr unfreundlich und hat sich vor uns über unsere bestellung beschwert. Ein anderer Kellner war jedoch sehr nett, humorvoll und zuvorkommend. Vielleicht würde ich dem Restaurant in einigen Monaten nochmal eine Chance geben aber aktuell bin ich nur mäßig zufrieden.

Hallo! Wir waren vor Weihnachten das erste Mal in Jackys Glashaus und haben uns durch das Ambiente und auch den Service sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück an sich ist nichts besonderes, sprich nicht irgendetwas kulinarisch extremes. Es gibt einfach Brötchen, Wurst, Käse, Marmelade, Honig, etc. Alles was das Herz begehrt eben. Die Temperaturen in den Räumlichkeiten waren angenehm, trotz der hohen Decken. Die Toiletten waren auch okay, nur die Türen von innen, wenn man sie schliesst, haben Flecken die man nicht sehen möchte. Das kann aber einfach nachgebessert werden. Bei den Herren Toiletten sieht das ganze etwas anders aus. Wenn sich jemand am Waschbecken die Hände wäscht, dann hat man es schwer in die Toiletten selbst hineinzukommen. Alles etwas eng. In der behindertentoilette fehlt eindeutig ein Spiegel und dieser Spiegel sollte auch verstellbar sein von der schräge damit auch ein rollstuhlfahrer sich anschauen kann. Jackys Glashaus ist zu empfehlen. Probiert es einfach mal aus. Tipp: Eine Reservierung war nicht unbedingt nötig. Wir hätten Platz gehabt, aber da es unter der Woche war, würde ich auf jeden Fall für das Wochenende eine Reservierung empfehlen.

Wir hatten bei unserem 1.Besuch die Ochsenbacke mit Risotto und Gemüse...das Risotto hatte eher den Geschmack eines Milchreises,das Gemüse war sehr hart,die Ochsenbacke hatte einen eigenwilligen Geschmack. Na ja,kann passieren,falsches Menü für uns dachte ich...2.Besuch war die Weihnachtsfeier vom Geschäft.Menü war ganz gut,leider kleine Portionen ohne jeglichen Nachschub mit Beilagen für ne Gesellschaft mit ca 40 Personen! Weißwein wurde mit Kühler auf den Boden gestellt,bestellter Bailys wurde gebongt aber nicht gebracht(auf Nachfrage dann ja) und Getränke etc mußte man ständig einfordern, hätte man doch hier wirklich gut flaschenweise den Wein verkaufen können Schade,für so ein tolles Ambiente,die Location ist nämlich echt toll.

Das Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker frisch auf dem Teller serviert vom feinsten. Immer wieder gerne . Und egal was für Gerichte sind alle zum empfehlen.

Jacky hat nach seinem Riesenerfolg mit dem Ristorante Europa in Herbolzheim nun mit Jackys Glashaus ein weiteres Restaurant eröffnet, jetzt in Ettenheim. Ich war am Eröffnungstag zum Mittagstisch alleine dort und heute zum Abendessen mit meiner besseren Hälfte. Das Ambiente sucht seines gleichen. Das Glashausprinzip kennt man ja aus diversen anderen Lokalitäten, aber was Jacky hier hingestellt hat, ist absolut außergewöhnlich. Cooles Design, ohne zuuuu kühl zu wirken, sehr angenehme Akkustik, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit viel Liebe zum Detail, viele tolle Ideen umgesetzt. Also fürs Ambiente verteile ich schon mal 100 Punkte. Der Service ist extrem aufmerksam, sehr charmant und freundlich. Klar kann in den ersten Tagen noch nicht alles perfekt laufen, aber die kleinen Unzulänglichkeiten gleicht das Personal durch Flexibilität und Freundlichkeit locker wieder aus...Ich habe jetzt zwei mal wirklich sehr gut gegessen. Zum Mittagstisch hatte ich eine sehr gute cremige Gemüsesuppe und ein superzartes Rumpsteak mit Gemüsebeilage. Heute Abend hatten wir als Vorspeise ein wirklich gutes Rindercarpachio und als Hauptgang Lammhaxe mit Risotto und Ochsenbacke mit Gemüse. Beides war wirklich qualitativ sehr gut und hat uns beiden super geschmeckt! Zum Trinken hatten wir den tollen offenen Chiantti. Unterm Strich hat uns der Abend mit Trinkgeld 100 € gekostet. Das ist nicht wenig, aber wir hatten uns für die eher hochpreisigen Gerichte auf der Karte entschieden. Das Essen, der Service und das Ambiente waren aber wirklich jeden Cent wert. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Schön dass es jetzt so ein Lokal in Ettenheim gibt!

Das Essen war sehr gut Ambiente und alles sehr modern( nur sehr laut da es offene Räumlichkeiten sind) , bei Betriebsfeiern sind die Bedienungen allerdings schwer überfordert. Man muss öfters nachhaken und bekommt dann nicht alles was man bestellt hat , trotz elektronischer Bestellerfassung. Schade könnte man verbessern
