The restaurant is highly recommended. It's a bit pricey, but worth every cent. The service is very good, friendly, attentive, and prompt. The food tastes excellent and is sufficient even for "big eaters." The ambiance is very pleasant; only the noise level is somewhat reminiscent of a train station concourse when it's busier. However, it's bearable. Small note: A little more greenery and flowers would be nice.

Very nice atmosphere, great food, waitresses are very friendly and on the ball. There's nothing to complain about there. Full house, of course, but still a spot available.

We spontaneously booked a JGA breakfast at Jacky's Glashaus and it was simply great, brilliant and lovingly prepared. We had two vegans with us, for whom we were even allowed to bring our own breakfast, which was also lovingly prepared. We were very impressed by the service and the great ambience and the friendliness of the staff. Thank you very much for the great start to the day. Highly recommended ☺️

We were ignored as much as possible by the staff once again (it wasn't our first visit). Everything took forever. After we had the meal there was no opportunity to order dessert. Instead of charging us, they preferred to talk to regular guests for 20 minutes. Therefore: Never again, a fancy location doesn't make up for everything...

I was expecting something more, I got disappointed, food is NOT extraordinary, service was unfriendly, the blonde 👱‍♀️ waitress was like unhappy ☹️ with us. Pizza is ok, but nothing that makes it unique. Over priced!! And really not worth it, even the music was crap. It’s just because it’s the only modern restaurant in a tiny town, but nothing else. Last comment… menu for kids it’s just so kids unfriendly!!!!

I celebrated my birthday here today. I was very impressed! It was delicious: portions are large, beautifully decorated. The staff was polite and accommodating. The atmosphere is pleasant, the restaurant is nice. I recommend it!

We visit Jacky's Glass House quite often. On transit between Holland and Italy. The food is always very good, but last Monday the lamb carré was the best lamb we have ever eaten. Top class! And as always, a very friendly welcome with two Pils at the table😊! Very nice people there in Ettenheim! We'll be back soon.

We went to Jacky's Glass House for a birthday brunch with 15 people and everyone was thrilled, the service was outstanding, always there without you really noticing it, a very pleasant and friendly atmosphere. The portions were enough for everyone, no wish was left unfulfilled and the atmosphere is spacious, modern, not too loud and, above all, not too crowded. Perfect all around. Thank you very much for this wonderful day.

The food is very good, but it comes much too early. This was our fourth time here and on all four visits the food came within 10 minutes. Unfortunately far too short. The starter came together with the main course. Ambience nice.

The service is great. Were there for the second time now. Once with colleagues and had the large starter plate with delicious garlic pizza (unfortunately no pictures were taken). Today again for dinner for two people. There was salmon with fresh vegetables and once spaghetti tom sauce with burrata. Both very tasty. Great service again today. You will get good advice here when it comes to wine. For dessert we can recommend chocolate cakes with pistachio ice cream. A dream.

We had dinner there shortly before New Year's Eve with a larger group (parents & children). The ambience is nice, the quality of the food was very good. Personally, the service was far too hectic for me and there was too much pressure when ordering (if everything had to happen quickly) and it gave me the impression that they wanted to reoccupy the tables quickly. Price is a bit too high for me, but still reasonable.

First of all, the atmosphere is really great, very cozy and everything is very appealing. The service is also top. But the food was a disaster for us - the pizza was very oily and just soggy and the pumpkin risotto was very salty and didn't taste like pumpkin at all. The price-performance ratio doesn't fit at all! Even if the food had been tasty, €21 for a risotto is simply too much. We won't come again.

Nice ambience and good service. The pizzas taste good, but I would have expected more for the price. I generally think the prices are too high; you pay more for the ambience. The crème brûlée was tasty, but there was no real vanilla in it, which is what I would have expected.

The food tastes delicious, the salad is a little sour. Strange: ordered the same drink twice, got something different each time. Tiramisu is delicious. The food is expensive, the service is friendly and attentive at first, but it wears off as the place fills up. Ambience loft-like, chic, modern, airy. Acoustics a bit loud, hall atmosphere. All in all a nice, modern location.

We had the pleasure of experiencing a wonderful birthday brunch at Jacky's Glass House and I can only say - it was simply great! Breakfast was lovingly prepared on etagères, with a great selection of delicacies that not only tasted fantastic, but were also a visual highlight. The service was attentive, friendly and made us feel completely comfortable. The ambience is particularly impressive. A huge glass house surrounded by countless plants that creates a unique, relaxed and at the same time elegant atmosphere. It was like dining in the middle of a green paradise. A place that I can fully recommend – perfect for special occasions or just to treat yourself to something nice!

The service in this restaurant is exceptionally warm - you feel welcome and in good hands from the first moment. The food is simply excellent. We started with the antipasti platter for two people, which was absolutely convincing in its quality and variety. The main courses were also all of remarkable quality and we were completely impressed. Only one tiny, albeit subjective, point of criticism: the portion sizes of the individual courses were almost too generous for us, so we unfortunately had to forego dessert. However, this only speaks for the generosity of the kitchen and the excellent quality of the food. Overall, a culinary experience that we can fully recommend!

My visit to the Glashaus restaurant was a real culinary highlight. As a starter I enjoyed a tender beef carpaccio, which was on point in terms of taste. For the main course I chose the ox cheeks, which were served tender as butter, accompanied by pumpkin and potato puree and perfectly prepared grilled vegetables. The evening was rounded off with a creamy, heavenly crème brûlée for dessert. Not only was the food excellent, but the attentive service and the stylish ambience also made me feel completely at home. I can highly recommend this restaurant – I would love to come back!

Delicious restaurant with good choice for vegetarians. Dogs are welcome. Free parking right outside. The servers are adorable and do everything to help find and respect allergies. We've been back several times and it's always great.

Warm pleasant and probably one of the best restaurants around with super service and food. Can here for business lunch and enjoyed it very much. So much so I came again in the evening. They make wholesome soups, fresh pasta and snitzels beating most Austrian versions. Came here at 7.30pm and its full house but had a table for me. Will be back for sure. I don’t speak German but still had an amazing evening.

The food is a real pleasure – creative, fresh and prepared with a lot of love. Most of the pictures were taken during lunch, which is offered from Monday to Friday at a great price-performance ratio. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, you feel welcome from the first moment. Particularly noteworthy is Chef Jacky, a passionate and warm restaurateur who rounds off the experience perfectly. The architecture of the glass house is modern, stylish, yet cozy and sustainable. A place where you feel comfortable. Absolute recommendation and full marks. We'd love to come back, keep it up!

Service was really great, location is very nice, but unfortunately the food was always a disappointment. We've been there three times (company party, birthday) and today because we still had a voucher. The lamb's lettuce doesn't taste like anything originally, I've never eaten such a poorly prepared salad, I thought the pizza tasted okay, the dough was very good but the toppings and cheese were okay. The gazpacho I ate on my last visit tasted like nothing but raw onions. Extremely disappointing. I find the prices almost outrageous for this quality and taste. More appearance than reality. Wouldn't come back and I think there's a lot of room for improvement when it comes to the cuisine.

The first time in the glass house. and you shouldn't throw stones. I've read the negative reviews and can't understand it. We had a Wiener Schnitzel, very tasty and tuna steak with spaghetti garlic and oil. First a Caesars salad. The salad was a huge portion, I've had better Caesars salads in terms of taste, please don't misunderstand, it's still a 7/10, everything is fresh and crunchy. The rest was actually very good, the spaghetti was very garlicky (freshly cut, no powder), but you can neutralize that pretty well with a glass of milk afterwards. The service was exorbitantly attentive and reserved. You can only say good things about the ambience, a bit loud, which is due to the open architecture, but strikingly beautiful. It would only be quiet without guests, but that wouldn't do justice to the location, the staff and the quality of the food. It doesn't all happen at the same time. We really liked it and would come back. And honestly, I know in advance how much the meal costs and therefore I can't go if it's too expensive for me.

A main course, a pizza and two beers: €58; way too expensive for the quality of the food served. The beef cheek dish at €30 is clearly overpriced, and a pizza at €18 is way too expensive for what it really is! We will not return there again because the prices are clearly excessive.

Anyone who wants to have breakfast in a very nice and pleasant atmosphere is absolutely right and welcome here! The service is excellent and the menu leaves nothing to be desired. The breakfast is lavish and delicious! The fruit is fresh and visually presented and the breakfast platter for one person or cake stand for 2 is very attractive. The rolls are homemade and very tasty. Price performance is absolutely okay. Parking spaces are available in all forms. Toilets clean and very well maintained. Jacky's glass house is highly recommended. We'll definitely be back.

Very disappointing experience! We arrived at 22.40 hrs. with a group of four, while the restaurant is open until midnight. Yet, an uninterested waiter told us, ‘we’re closed.’ In hindsight, after reading all the negative reviews, it’s probably for the best that we didn’t eat or drink here.

The Glashaus restaurant offers an impressive ambience with its many glass surfaces, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The salads served here are plentiful, fresh and taste excellent. The friendly staff is also impressive, making the visit even more pleasant. The parking situation is also very good, so you can easily find a space. A clear recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy good food in a beautiful environment!

Great restaurant, absolutely stylish and always a quiet atmosphere despite the many guests. Service staff is always present. And the boss Jacky is just a cool guy.

We stayed here at short notice after a visit to Europa Park. We asked by phone whether we could still get a place for 4 people, which was possible without any problems. We were greeted very friendly and escorted to the table. Afterwards there was the food and drink menu, which was on a clipboard, which I personally find very nice and clever. It's something different too. The drinks we ordered came very quickly. Ordering the food was completely unproblematic and quick. The pizzas came hot from the kitchen to the table and were simply excellent. We thought it was very tasty and the additional oils (I think chilli and garlic) were amazing. The atmosphere was very nice and upscale, we really liked it. And a big compliment to our waitress (unfortunately I don't know his name, only that he comes from Villingen) he was very friendly, had a good sense of humor and was just super nice and friendly. Overall we really liked it, it was extremely tasty and we will definitely be back... Thank you very much

The ambience with the high glass house, the plants and the lighting was very impressive, well-kept and appealing. Good tables and there is also at least one lounge corner. The pizzas had a very good, thin and crispy base, just right. The topping was very tasty and not soggy. Pizza is recommended. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. There are only 4 stars because there weren't enough staff with so many guests and it took a bit of a long time.

Had breakfast today and tried the bagels. A bagel with bacon and scrambled eggs and a bagel with salmon. It tasted very tasty and there were plenty of toppings. Afterwards there was yogurt with fresh fruit (not canned fruit) and a granola bowl. Here too, large portions and very tasty. The price-performance ratio is also right here. All in all a nice stay with nice staff.

Great atmosphere in modern architecture, unfortunately there was nothing left in the parking lot and we had to park down the street, but no problem... Prompt and courteous service, even though the restaurant was quite full. The antipasti we ordered for two (yes 12 per person) were delicious and absolutely worth the money! However, the saltimbocca (too much meat, far too much cheese, hardly any sage, actually a cheese-baked veal fillet) was rather disappointing, while the sea bream fillet was of solid quality. All in all, a really nice visit to the restaurant, next time I'll try swordfish fillet instead of saltimbocca!

A beautiful location & very stylishly furnished. We were 100% thrilled for 2 days in a row 🤩 Thanks to Mandy, who served us in a very charming and friendly manner and made great recommendations. She loves what she does ❤️🫶 Now about the food. Tuna with Spaghetti Aglio Olio & Pasta with fresh chanterelles as well as Wiener Schnitzel with fries & seafood pizza were super tasty. Jacky the owner is an all-rounder, super close to the customers, greets and says goodbye to the guests personally and helps where necessary. Great atmosphere among the employees who you love to watch passionately work (view into the kitchen & pizza oven) We will definitely come back on our next visit

Attractive atmosphere inside and outside the glass house. The service was friendly but quite slow that evening. The food was okay, but one salad didn't have the advertised goat cheese but rather a kind of Camembert. In my opinion, the price/performance is at the lower end of the acceptable range.

I go there often and can fully recommend the restaurant in every respect! Today we had a large portion of rump steak with fries and salad for lunch for €16.50. Where else is that available? The staff is attentive and always friendly, the boss even takes the time to greet and say goodbye to the guests. The generously furnished guest room in the glass house offers sufficient privacy for conversations and a suitable table for every group size. There are even a few cozy sofa corners ☺️ … Conclusion: TOP!

One of the best restaurant I have visited in Germany. The staff, the owner and everyone is so friendly. I’m Hindu and don’t eat pork and beef; and this guys make me special menu out of their menu. Is so sweet and they’re really caring and respectful. The environment is simply superb too! I will always visit them and will organise business dinner here. It will be a 5 star tick to them.
