The food tastes very good; I especially appreciate that they don't use minced meat in their doner kebabs. Unfortunately, the employee behind the counter was rather unfriendly and seemed reluctant to work there. The woman, on the other hand, was very polite and friendly.

Hmm, the food was okay, but: The service was unpleasant. The snack bar wasn't heated inside (it was uncomfortable and cold). Cash only! And the dishes were rather expensive! 9 euros for a doner box is outrageous! We won't be coming back for another meal.

We were a group of seven eating at Izmir Kebab in Friedrichshafen and ordered different dishes. Unfortunately, we weren't entirely satisfied this time. The bread was quite hard, and overall, the food didn't impress us. It's a shame, as we had hoped for more.

A complaint from the next table about the cold and tough meat was unfortunately ignored by the staff. The prices are excessive for the quality offered. My second kebab here in Friedrichshafen. After my last experience, I thought I'd listen to the reviews. I wonder how they come about. Is it just me that I have too high expectations? But since I know I can do better... Well, let's get to the review. First, the staff: What's wrong here? The colleague who served me was only friendly when he said "goodbye." Otherwise, he seemed disinterested and more interested in burning money on his slot machine mobile game, well, he should know. I also didn't like the fact that he practically placed his phone on the ingredients that were above the pizza preparation platform. So, hygiene is definitely questionable here. Anyway, on to the kebab. Here, he was still very disinterested and at best threw the kebab together. You can't really say "cooked" here. The kebab was again made with ground beef, which wasn't great, but not the problem at first. Again, just a sauce, and not enough of it. I mean, looking back, I'm glad it wasn't more sauce. I couldn't quite identify what kind of sauce it was because it was so watered down that the flavor was completely washed out. The meat was also only a hint of beef. The animal was left to its limits on the rotisserie until it was bone dry. Salad: was okay, just a salad. I'll take that out of the rating. All in all, no recommendation here either. And you won't see me here again. As I said, the positive reviews are beyond my comprehension. Perhaps there are other dishes that fare better here.

To call the meal food poisoning would be a compliment. When I unwrapped the kebab, the bread was so shiny you'd think it was bathed in oil. When I picked it up, my finger immediately went through the bread and into the meat. The first bite really didn't taste good, and when I pulled the chicken out, it was completely pink inside (was it even grilled all the way through?). I hadn't ordered onions, but there were still some on it. The salad was also completely drenched in oil. Even our omnivorous dog took one sniff and ran away. I hope giving four people food poisoning was worth the €64 you paid :)

I'm from Vorarlberg and recently went to Ferhat Döner in Vienna. Unfortunately, they just don't have that good kebabs in Vorarlberg. So I took a trip to Friedrichshafen and ate at Izmir Kebap. The beef kebab was really tasty, and it was top-notch. Ferhat is number one, but Izmir is absolutely recommended; I'll be back. The meat was good and juicy. Many thanks to the owner; that's just how a kebab should be.

We had a horrible first experience. First off i had to wait when me and my wife went there during lunch time at 13:00. They were busy making dough or something in the back. Secondly the man who made our döner wrap managed to get his hair in the wrap. Not just one hair, we found like 4 strands. To top it off the whole wrap tasted like a salt bomb. The best kebab is here, no joke. The boss makes his own kebab skewers, something almost no other kebab shop does. The difference in taste and quality is enormous. 100% pure beef layered in slices, without any minced meat. That's extremely rare and can hardly be found in any other kebab shop. At €8.50, the price is absolutely reasonable for this quality, with homemade bread. The downside is that you can only pay with cash, and the atmosphere is simple and straightforward. But that's not really a big deal... you can also have your kebab delivered to Friedrichshafen via Liferando. They also offer pizza, but I haven't tried it. His specialty is the kebab, and as a kebab eater, I've yet to find better quality meat.
