Italfisch in Fellbach

The restaurant has been around for a while, but we recently discovered it. We were thrilled: the fish and side dishes were incredibly fresh and delicious. The ambiance was beautifully Italian. We'll definitely be back.

Italfisch is a fish restaurant near Stuttgart that clearly stands out from many others. Particularly noteworthy is their extensive selection of wild-caught fish, including sea bream and sea bass. This quality is evident in the taste and surpasses the farmed fish typically served in many restaurants. On Sunday evening, our whole family (9 people) went there and ordered three sea bass and one grouper, freshly grilled. These were accompanied by a mixed vegetable stir-fry, salad, and freshly baked bread. The homemade pasta with shrimp for the children and a mixed fish platter with fillets and prawns rounded out the meal. The wild-caught sea bass was exceptionally flavorful, on a level usually only found in coastal regions, such as in Turkish fish restaurants serving freshly caught fish. The owner and the waiter explained that they personally pick up the fish once a week directly from Italy in a refrigerated truck. For guests who specifically want to try wild-caught fish, it's recommended to pre-order their desired fish four to five days before their planned visit. The chef, or rather the grill master, introduced himself. We simply had to thank him for such a delicious experience! 😀 The waiter also did an excellent job. A very attentive gentleman who diligently assisted us and offered helpful advice. The prices are reasonable. Considering the wild-caught fish and careful selection of ingredients, the value for money is fair. Overall, Italfisch offers a level of quality that is rarely found. Highly recommended for anyone who values ​​authentic flavor and fresh ingredients. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Next time, I want to try the wild-caught sea bream. In conclusion: Italfisch is one of those restaurants that falls into the category of "We'll be back and will definitely recommend it to our friends."

It was my first time there. Truly a place in Fellbach that quickly makes you forget you're in Germany. Especially in summer weather—dolce vita.

The price was incredibly expensive. We've never experienced anything like it before. I ordered spaghetti with shrimp for my children, which was inedible; there was an excessive amount of pepper on it. I told the waiter, and he said the kitchen couldn't make a new dish, but it was €20 per dish. My friend's was three times hotter without even asking if anyone even eats spicy food. We complained, and not a little. Reply from the waiter? The boss is Italian and wants it that way, and at the end he asks for a tip. I don't recommend eating here again. They even charged for olive oil, which we didn't want, and the champagne bottles were billed as a flood instead of a bottle. €710 is not normal.

Was there at lunch. Large menu available only upon request. Three daily specials to choose from. The mixed salad to start with was very good. Crisp and fresh, with a pleasant light dressing. The salmon and swordfish from the grill were too dry because they were overcooked. This is a mistake from a fish chef, one that you often read about in the reviews here. I hope it wasn't frozen fish. The dry consistency of the fish suggests that. The wine and water prices are very fair. The cutlery is disappointing. It couldn't be more primitive or cheaper. When popular regulars come, the service is very distracted.

I would actually like to give it 6 stars at this point! We have been visiting the Italfisch restaurant for years and have never been disappointed. A purely fish restaurant is not often found in the Stuttgart area and for us this restaurant has now become an institution. This restaurant is characterized by the best quality and freshest products. In combination with a down-to-earth but innovative cuisine, we always find something new on the menu, changing dishes and always a new variation of the dishes are what distinguish Francesco and his kitchen team. No matter what I've been able to enjoy here so far, it's always been excellent, super fresh and simply a pleasure. Now to the service, it is absolutely top league! Manuel, as the head of the service team, is really a professional and a very warm person. We always feel comfortable and are happy to follow his recommendations. Here too we have never been disappointed, the wine recommendations were always perfect and a nice conversation rounded the whole thing off in a friendly way. We had a fantastic evening at this Italian seafood restaurant! The quality of the fish was outstanding – absolutely fresh and perfectly prepared. The grilled fish platter and seafood pasta were particularly enjoyable. You can immediately tell that the cooking here is done with love and expertise. The service was just as convincing: attentive and warm. The ambience completes the experience – cozy, stylish and with Italian flair. If you are looking for first-class fish dishes in Fellbach, you should not miss this restaurant. We'll definitely be back!

Pasta and sauce were good. But when you can only find 4½ bite-sized pieces of salmon in the mountain of pasta for a hefty price (for lunch) in a fish restaurant, that's quite disappointing. The mixed lettuce was also disappointingly limp. It's a shame, because we already had a delicious meal here.

Went to Italfisch again today after a long time. As always, fish was very tasty. Had the mixed grill plate for a little more than 30 euros which was great and the fish was fresh and tasty. No longer an insider tip but always worth a visit.

Quaint restaurant with friendly staff and a chef who personally asks whether everything was right. There is a fireplace with fire which adds to the ambience. The food is good and the prices are justified.

Das Restaurant wurde uns von Freunden empfohlen und wir sind zu 6 hingegangen. Der Empfang durch den Chef war sehr herzlich und sympathisch. Das Essen würden wir als hervorragend bezeichnen. Wir sind sehr kritisch wenn es um Fisch geht, aber alles war in perfekter Qualität und auf den Punkt gegart. Die Würzung würde ich als optimal bezeichnen. Selten haben wir so gut Fisch gegessen und wir kommen sicher wieder. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr angemessen.

Buonasera a tutti :-D We were at Italfisch Fellbach on Good Friday 2024. We were politely shown to our reserved seat by the waitress. The first thing I noticed was the super delicious fishy smell! After we ordered our drinks we were allowed to choose something delicious from the menu. Grilled fish platter, tuna carpaccio, oysters, sea urchins, fried fish platter and much more. The starter came after about 30 minutes and the main course really took about 1.5 hours... We were able to pass the time with stories and white wine. Now our main course arrived and it was worth every second of waiting! We easily spent 4 hours in the restaurant and it was fun. If you want fish you have to go to Italfisch!! The price may be a little high but the quality is there. There is no pizza or lasagne here, but the best of fish. Grazie per la bella serata Italfisch Team, ci rivedremo :-)

Etwas zu teuer, bei denn Preisen ist eigentlich die beilage inklusive. Qualität war gut.

Guter Fisch, gute Kartoffeln, Salat okay, Brot trocken. Die Sesamkruste beim Thunfisch schien uns eher Mohn zu sein. Alles in allem schön, aber auch schön teuer.

In diesem wunderschönen Restaurant fühlt man sich sofort wie im Urlaub. Das Ambiente ist einfach zauberhaft und so selten in der Region zu finden. Ein sehr freundlicher Service sowie hervorragendes frisches Essen runden den perfekten Kurzurlaub ab. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Für uns persönlich das beste fischrestaurant dass wir in Stuttgart und Umgebung kennen. Ist ein Familienbetrieb das alles mit sehr viel Liebe zubereitet. WIr gehen seit bestimmt 15 Jahren dahin und wurden noch nie enttäuscht.

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Der Service lässt ein bisschen zu wünschen übrig, da wir selbst nach dem Essen noch nicht einmal unser Essig und Öl für den Salat bekommen haben.

Bin voll enttäuscht worden, das Thunfischsteak war nicht durch, die Linguini nur Buttergeschmack. Bei den Fischplatten waren die Fische sehr trocken sowie auch die Dorade. Einzigstes Highlight die Muschel aber für große Portion sehr wenig. Als der Preis kam bin ich vom Glauben abgefallen. Panakotta null Geschmack.

While the surroundings might be somewhat of a turn down, once you are in the yard and on the terrace, the atmosphere is actually quite lovely. The furnishing is kept simply but very clean and tidy, the place is obviously very well looked after. The service is very friendly and forthcoming. The rotating lunch menu invites for you to a second visit. The salmon pasta and Mediterranean swordfish, too, were rather simple dishes but well prepared and treated authentic. Greatly recommended

We haven't visited the restaurant yet but the cafe next to it is just perfect. We regurarly come for a coffee or lunch and hope we can soon also come for dinner. It's the place where we can feel Italy, great quality of food, really. Thanks so much.

Sehr Nettes Fischlokal. Essen war sehr gut leider war mein Fisch zu durchgebraten. Ansonsten lecker toller Service und schönes Ambiente.

Das uns seit > 10 Jahren bekannte Fischrestaurant erlebt seit Jahren ein sehr konstantes Niveau an Speisen. Die Auswahl ist durch deutlich gestiegene Kreativität der Küche über die traditionelle Fischplatte hinausgewachsen. Das Preisniveau ist absolut gerechtfertigt. Denn die Wertigkeit der Fische und deren Vielfalt sucht im Stuttgarter Raum seinesgleichen. Der Service ist absolut freundlich und agiert professionell. Die angebotenen Weine sind bezahlbar und korrespondieren mit den Speisen. Resefvierung empfohlen.

Preise für Mittagsmenü wurden erst vor kurzem um weitere 5 Euro erhöht. Preis-Leistung stimmen hier überhaupt nicht mehr. Vor allem das Mittagsmenü ist völlig überteuert und dafür die Portionen auch winzig

An sich schmeckt das Essen sehr lecker. Leider waren mir die Portionen zu klein. Auf den ersten Blick sah es viel aus auf einem großen Teller, jedoch war ich, welche eigentlich immer was liegen lässt nicht satt. Die Preise waren auch etwas höher angesetzt. Da der Fisch aber immer frisch gekauft wird in Italien verständlich.

Seit Jahren sind wir Gäste dieses Restaurants mit Alleinstellungsmerkmal. Bzgl. des Umfanges des Fischangebots und der Frische ist man hier kompromislos. Die Lokation strahlt den Charme eines Fischlokales an der Küste irgendwo in Italien aus. Unbedingt sollte man den am Tisch nur nach Aufforderung ausgesprochenen Empfehlungen des kompetenten und freundlichen Servicepersonals Folge leisten. Nur so kommt man in den Genuß der Kreativität des Chefs und sonst nicht in Restaurants angebotenen Fischarten. Vom ganzen Hummer (je nach Saison und Verfügbarkeit auf den großen Fischmärkten Italiens), über Wolfsbarsch, bis zur Meeresheuschrecke reicht das für deutsche Restaurants unübliche Angebot. Die Ware kommt fangfisch direkt aus Italien. Die Weinauswahl ist klein, jedoch völlig ausreichend und begleitet die Speisen gut. Der Fokus liegt hier auf dem Fisch. Bei schönem Wetter bitte vorher auf der grossen Terasse und in der kälteren Jahreszeit am offenen Kamin reservieren!

Nach vielen Jahren wieder mal probiert und sehr angenehm überrascht! Waren nun in kurzer Zeit zweimal da und es war jedes Mal sehr gut. Überbackene Jakobsmuscheln ein Gedicht, Pulposalat sehr gut, gemischte Fischplatte einwandfrei und bessere Linguine mit Venusmuscheln gibts nicht! Panna cotta und Tiramisu prima. Kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren im letzten Herbst hier, zu finden ist es schon ein wenig schwierig. Der Gastraum ist überschaubar. Man bekommt hier wirklich gutes Essen, Austern saisonale Fischspeisen echt sehr gut angerichtet und gewürzt. Der Wein ist überschaubar. An was man sich hier gewöhnen muss, ist der Service. Unflexibel und schroff.

Gestern bekam das Italfisch nach Jahren mal wieder eine Chance; diese wurde nicht genutzt: - Service war bemüht, aber hoffnungslos überfordert (Organisation) - Vorspeise Salat und Meeresfrüchtesalat war ein Witz - 15 Mini-Srimps/Garnelen, 4 Stück Surimi, 1 Zitronenschnitz (Frechheit) - Hauptgänge haben ewig gedauert (Küchenorganisation) - Ein Hauptgericht war komplett versalzen (nicht abgeschmeckt und nicht probiert oder probiert und trotzdem geschickt) - 2 Gerichte 1x gegrillter Fisch und 1x Pasta waren ziemlich gut (Lob) - Hausweine weiss und rot waren gut (Lob)

Wir sind absolut zufrieden. Perfekter Romantischer Abend zu zweit mit frischen Fischspezialitäten, mit Zutaten aus der Region, toller Beratung, romantsicher Atmosphäre auf der Terrasse und leckerem selbstgemachtem Tiramisu zum Abschluss. Wir werden auf jeden Fall regelmäßig hier essen, vorallem auch weil auch ein leckerer Mittagstisch angeboten wird. Nur zu empfehlen!

Personal völlig Planlos, Muscheln ranzig und völlig überpfeffert, Pizza auf der einen Seite schwarz auf der anderen weiß, Getränke wurden vergessen sowie auch der Nachtisch. die XXL Portion war ganz normal, die Fisch grill platte für 19,90.- völlig überzogen (mini Portion) Der mit Abstand schlechteste Italiener aller Zeiten.

Super Fischtheke wo man sich alles aussuchen und sagen kann wie man es gerne zubereitet haben will. Super Thunfischtatar, sehr gute Fische, Krebse, etc. toll. Das Tiramisu zum Schluss war gut aber nicht so wie es sein sollte.

Weltklasse Geheimtipp im Kreis Fellbach. Fisch schmeckt sehr frisch und lecker. Auch die Pasta oder seit neuem Pizza aus dem Steinofen macht was her. Familiäres Restaurant, wo der Chef auch immer für ein Smalltalk zu haben ist. Nur zu empfehlen, egal zu welchem Anlass.
