Absolutely recommended! The service here is first class, friendly, attentive and always with a smile! As for the culinary part: The hotspot was a real taste sensation! Every bite was simply delicious, freshly prepared and with loving details. Whether sweet, savory or spicy, everything is perfectly balanced. The atmosphere is inviting and you can tell that passion is at play here. I will definitely come back and can only recommend it!

MOST DISCRIMINATORY RESTAURANT IN BERLIN! I had a truly disappointing experience at this restaurant due to rude and unprofessional service. When we asked for extra chili oil and garlic, instead of bringing it to our table like any normal restaurant, the waiter insisted we get it from the counter. There was no price label on one of the boxes, so I had no idea it was for sale. The moment I picked it up, the waiter suddenly raised his voice, yelling “€10 euros!” in front of everyone, as if we were trying to steal it. We politely told him there was no need to shout, but instead of handling it professionally, he continued to raise his voice and behaved aggressively. He pointed fingers, kept shouting, and refused to serve us further while we were still eating. What made this situation even worse was that another couple—who happened to be white—used the exact same chili oil without any issue. They were not questioned, shouted at, or treated rudely, which makes it clear that we were discriminated against because of our background. This is not just about bad service—it’s about unfair treatment and disrespect toward customers based on race. No customer should be made to feel unwelcome or inferior while dining out. If I could give negative stars, I would. I strongly advise avoiding this place if you care about fair and respectful service. Discrimination has no place in the hospitality industry

AVOID THIS PLACE – ABUSIVE AND RACIST BEHAVIOR From the moment we walked in, this restaurant was a complete mess. We asked for a table for two, and instead of seating us properly, the staff moved us around without explanation. That was just the beginning. We simply asked for garlic—nothing special—but instead of bringing it to our table like any normal restaurant would, the waiter told us to get it ourselves from the counter. At the counter, I picked up the garlic, salt, and chili oil, as they were all placed together with no labels or signs indicating that the chili oil was for sale. There was no way to know it was not for customer use. That’s when things escalated. As soon as I returned to my seat, the waiter started loudly demanding “€10! €10! Why did you take this?!” in front of the entire restaurant, treating us as if we had stolen something. Shocked, we tried to explain that it was an honest mistake due to the lack of labeling, but instead of handling it professionally, he started aggressively shouting at my wife, saying that we would not be served at all. Then, in the middle of the restaurant, he went even further—yelling abuses at us instead of resolving the situation calmly. What made this worse was the clear double standard. While we were being humiliated, we saw another couple—who happened to be white—use the same chili oil at their table. Instead of yelling at them, the waiter simply took it back, with no scene, no accusations, and no €10 demand. It was blatant discrimination, and we were singled out simply because of our skin color. This was beyond just bad service—it was hostile, degrading, and completely unacceptable. Instead of treating us with respect, the staff’s behavior turned a simple meal into a horrible abusive experience. If I could give negative stars, I would. This place has no regard for customer service, professionalism, or basic human decency. If you care about being treated fairly, avoid this restaurant at all costs. What I tried to order was out and the chicken skewers I ended up getting were underwhelming. Insane price for water and no tap water available. Service was very fast though and cheap!

It was very mediocre and the food was drowning in sauce. I ordered a beef bowl that supposedly came with “shrimps”, and there was just one shrimp. It’s the kind of meal where you regret eating out at all. I wouldn’t recommend this place for authentic or tasty food.

I had Bún Chả and it was SO good! The taste was super authentic - you could tell the meet was grilled just right, just like it would be in Vietnam. The slices of meet were perfectly tender and full of flavour. One nice touch was when they gave us sunflower seeds at the end - a little snack to enjoy while we chatted. The restaurant’s exterior is also nice, and the whole vibe felt super authentic.

We're currently in the District Mot... and have always loved it so far... we're driving an extra 120km here to stay overnight in Berlin and the District is both a duty and a reward at the same time! However, the waiters are somehow hectic, unfriendly and interested in you taking up as little space as possible. Oh and please don't spill anything on our menu...so we'll just pull it out from under your nose while you don't browse through it while you eat. Really unbelievable...and very relaxed compared to the Asian region. Too bad...

All perfect, we were quite a big group (14) but the service was quick and very helpful. Food delicious. If not that they close at 22:30 we would have eat more :)

Food is great, it's like a high end boutique style street food place. Not pretentious, very down to earth and the dishes are well balanced taste wise. Prices are fair, we totalled in ~40euro each for a 3 course meal and a cocktail. The only negative is that this place is too cool. 10/10 would come again.

The BBQ we ordered was listed on the menu as RMB 32 for two people. According to the vegetables and meat they gave, it was indeed about the same price (for two people), but in the end they charged RMB 64, which means RMB 32 for one person (the menu did not clearly indicate RMB 32 for one person). Do you think these dishes are worth 64 euros? Run away from it! PS: Their menu is very confusing. The hotpot lists the number per person, but the BBQ menu only states: Two person, not (per person). (Owner, please don’t be so impatient. Why do you think your Google score is so low? The menu you gave me didn’t even have a 32 euro mark in the BBQ column. Please hurry up and change the menu overnight, so as not to accuse you of wronging me. Besides, I eat much better than you in my country, and you don’t need to talk about European standards. I have lived in Italy for many years!) PS: His food is terrible. Seafood is not fresh. The meat quality is also very average! Extraordinary experience!!! My husband and I ate at District Môt for the first time today and it was amazing! We ordered the BBQ dinner for two and absolutely loved it. As a starter there was a Bao Burger (De la Sauce) which was incredibly tasty. We also tried typical Vietnamese drinks (Si An Greeting Shake and Thơm Húng Shake) - a real taste experience😍! Afterwards we were given a Vietnamese coffee that was perfectly prepared. To round things off there was a dessert: Pandan Waffles. They were simply heavenly🤤! The atmosphere was unique, lively and authentic, and the hospitality was outstanding. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We can highly recommend this restaurant. It was an extraordinary experience, and District Môt is now our favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Berlin! Thousands of thanks again for everything❤️❤️❤️

The service was awful. The waiter had who-cares-attitude, and gave us a long wait. When he came for the payment, he smelled of cigarettes and this disgusted me. My payment was 18.50 euros and I gave him 19 euros, expecting him to give me a change 50 cents since the service was not a worth for a cent. He didn’t give it back and just said “Thank youuu byeeee” without seeing our eyes. The food was ok-ish but since there are much more better Vietnamese options with better service in town, I don’t think I would come back here.

Decent selection of Vietnamese dishes. The quality of the food is good. The portions are sufficient and the flavors are pleasant, but it lacks the more intense flavors that you would expect from Vietnamese cuisine. The atmosphere is modern and appealing, the service is friendly. Overall, a solid place for a good Vietnamese meal.

The store view looks cute but looks very tight. I don't think you should just put lime in a hot pho soup. Furthermore, there were no spoons on our table. The noodles were hard and you couldn't eat properly with chopsticks.

Para mí esto es realmente importante (oficialmente adicto al café🤣) y lo mejor es que pagas un precio justo por ello. El personal era muy agradable y el lugar es muy lindo y muy verde. También hacen pan de plátano casero y es tan delicioso. Me encantó y recomiendo totalmente este lugar!

Unfortunately we didn't have the best experience here. Unfortunately, the dish I wanted to try (duck tongue) was not available and the lime iced tea is only available in summer. Unfortunately, the food we ordered was only warm and cooled down quickly. The restaurant itself wasn't very heated either, so it was a bit cold at the window. There was also a little foil under my pork belly burger, which was a bit stupid and difficult to eat. The service was ok, but not super friendly either. Overall, the food was good and there was a large selection of dishes. All in all, the many (smaller) negative points led to the three stars.

Delicious food, got the pork spring rolls, pork dim sum (different types), chicken pho, mango sticky rice, and the lil bao wow and wow wow wow loved it all, would recommend all of those things but the pork spring rolls with the sauce was the best. great evening thank you

I’ve eaten here couple of times. Food is always fairly good, but it doesn’t justify such high prices. The stuff was never friendly. The last straw was two days ago - having a person with severe gluten intolerance in the group, we extra checked if the allergy guide was correct - it was entirely off. There was no indication of gluten even for meals that come with bread (bread wasn’t mentioned in the description). Pointing this to the waiter and saying this can be dangerous caused him to be increasingly very visibly annoyed with us. Upon deciding to leave, he aggressively took the menus off our table and talked loudly about us with his colleague. Obviously not returning there anymore. I’m not paying min 15€ for meal only to be treated like this.

Very unfriendly place. I asked if the meal has gluten and the weiter said yes, although it was not stated in the menu. He was very rude and gossiping with his colleague about us in front of us. You should have more polite people and pay more attention on the allergens.

The ambience is a matter of taste, I actually think it's pretty cool! Lots of details and fun ideas. Otherwise a flop. I received baos with visible blue mold. Let go back, no apology or response. And in the end should I still pay them? Starters were lukewarm and seemed microwaved. You could get over all of that, but one of the two waiters was so unfriendly that it was definitely the last visit. There really is enough in the area.

The place is very cool. The decoration is very nice. The treatment received by the waiter was very bad, very bad. For this reason alone I will not return. Don't come, in Berlin there are 1000 much better and cheaper Vietnamese. The “best burger in Berlin” with a burnt flavor.

Overpriced. Banh mi was flavourless. Restaurant is filthy. Bottom of the table was covered in brown sauce which stained our pants. Bowl of chilis they gave us was full of mold. Really bad experience.

Hace poco vine a almorzar aquí, y aunque la comida era buena, el ambiente dejaba que desear. Una cosa que me destacó fue cómo el gerente interactuó con el personal. En un momento, noté que el jefe hablaba con bastante dureza al equipo frente a los clientes, lo que creó un ambiente incómodo. El personal estaba haciendo todo lo posible, pero se notaba que no estaban siendo tratados con respeto. Como cliente, es desalentador ver que se habla con los empleados, lo que afecta a toda la experiencia gastronómica. La comida puede traer gente, pero la forma en que se administra un lugar afecta si regresaría o no.

Burnt rice tasted too crispy and a little hard for me, but it was a great experience. I like the vegetables and pork dish that goes with it. I ordered a yummy dessert. They gave these seeds to munch while waiting for the dish. What I found weird was the bathroom tissue instead of napkins. 😆 overall, it was an excellent experience!

I’ve ordered always the same dish at this place which comes with pumpkin and sweet potatoes. This time for some reason the plate was full of tofu with no sign of the other two ingredients. I’ve mentioned this to the waitress. Instead of coming with a solution, he argued back mentioning that the dish has never come with those two ingredients. I told him I always order the same, therefore I know, but he rudely insisted this has never been part of that dish. The quality of this place and the service has definitely go down. Not really a great experience for the price.

Great experience! There are also more unusual foods here such as frog legs or goose tongues. In addition, of course, there is also authentic Vietnamese food such as Pho or Ban Mi. Everything is very tasty. And the prices are okay, not particularly cheap, but reasonable.
