The food was delicious, the place is nice in a great location. The only thing I disliked was no soap nor anything to dry your hands after washing in the restroom. Hope they pay more attention to these details.

In my opinion, I wouldn't recommend it. The staff seemed listless. The meat was cold and cut too thick for me, some of it being real chunks. Too much sauce and generally far too fatty.

My favorite kebab shop was closed yesterday, so I looked for an alternative nearby. Unfortunately, this visit didn't meet my standards for kebabs. The bun was very brittle, the meat quality was industry standard. The vegetables were fine, and the sauce was okay. As a customer, I felt like a number... next, quick, €7, thanks, next. There was so much sauce that it ran over my fingers while I was eating, and the meat and other items slipped out of the bun. Very annoying during my lunch break. I don't think every kebab shop should have the same prices just because they sell kebabs.

Never again! That was the worst kebab I've ever eaten.

Stay away! Friendliness of the service is the lowest of the low. Stale fries go back into the fryer. Clearing and cleaning the tables are out of place. We went with high expectations, but the disappointment was even greater.

A better name for a restaurant would be "snack bar with seating." Service...none. You get everything yourself and walk along the counter for cutlery and drinks. You have to request a glass. Only the food is brought, presumably so as not to bother the staff behind the counter. The food served is not worthy of a Turkish restaurant. Anyone familiar with Turkish, excellent, and very tasty cuisine will be deeply disappointed. Our colleagues in Duisburg, Berlin, Mannheim, and Cologne would be horrified. Well, tried it once and definitely never again. It's a shame, a great location and, with a bit of determination, a good place.

I ordered a doner kebab box and was absolutely shocked. There were seriously maybe five fries in the box, which you could count on one hand. The rest? It felt like 50% air! There was barely any meat in it, and what little there was tasted dry and bland. Salad? None, or buried somewhere deep down. For the price, it's an absolute disgrace—it has nothing to do with a doner kebab box. It definitely won't fill you up. Clear recommendation: Stay away!

World class food & warm service! I was passing through Bayreuth and was lucky enough to be able to eat near Istanbul. What can I say? Simply world class! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh and prepared with a lot of love. The service was warm, attentive and left nothing to be desired. Unfortunately, I was only in the city for a short time - otherwise I would definitely come back every time. A big congratulations to the entire team for this great experience! A definite recommendation for pizza day. €7 for a pizza is unbeatable. The Istanbul pizza with doner meat and pepperoni is a must on Wednesday nights. But don't arrive too late; they run out of pizza after around 9 p.m. The quality of the pizza isn't bad either. The doner kebab is just okay; there are much better ones just around the corner. Service is mostly unfriendly and disinterested. But it is what it is. Somehow, that's part of it. The location is great, and you can sit outside comfortably. The interior is gigantic and also nice to sit in. All in all: a definite recommendation for pizza day, but otherwise not so much.

Unfortunately not recommended. The food was OK, but nothing more. Meat and fries not very seasoned and rather bland. The yogurt sauce tastes a lot like mayonnaise. The tables and menus were not clean and had grease stains. There was a haze in the air throughout the restaurant, one thought there had just been a fire. It smelled extremely like food. The ventilation doesn't seem to be working. The staff wasn't really friendly, you had the feeling that you were disturbing the guest. I won't be going there any time soon.

Went by today with my partner for a quick bite and ordered 2 Börek with spinach & cheese to take away. Unfortunately it was very inedible. First of all, it was partly ice cold, the 2 bottom layers of the Börek were completely stuck to the aluminum foil and the taste was really not good. 10€ for that! Never again.

I recently visited Istanbul Döner in Bayreuth and was completely impressed. As soon as you enter the shop you can feel the friendly atmosphere and the inviting smell of freshly grilled meat and aromatic spices. The service was excellent. The staff was not only friendly but also extremely efficient. My order was taken quickly and prepared quickly. What struck me particularly positively was the cleanliness of the store, which is not always a given when it comes to snack bars. The highlight was of course the kebab itself. The meat was juicy and perfectly seasoned, the sauces harmonized perfectly and the fresh vegetables gave the kebab a crisp freshness. The bread was also pleasantly crispy and tasted freshly baked. The portion size was generous and the price-performance ratio was absolutely right. I will definitely come by soon!!

Hello everyone, Today was my first time at Istanbul in Bayreuth and definitely not the last time. A kebab plate and a tuna pizza were eaten. The food was very fresh and the taste couldn't be beat. Also very nice and friendly staff. Always my pleasure. !

Food poisoning included. Lowest quality meat. Old and rancid. Dirty tables. Open waste in the guest area. Unfriendly staff. Got wrong menu. Frozen skewers from the store directly on the heat. It smelled awfully like old burnt oil. Please change that or close the store. I would actually give it minus 5 stars. And the amount of meat in the kebab is far too little.

I do not recommend this establishment to anyone. Very rude and badly behaved boss. Customers' opinions are not respected here. I will avoid this establishment.

Ich liebe die Atmosphäre. Wenn ich in Bayreuth bin, will ich immer dort essen. Allerdings ist die Stimmung des Personals sehr unterschiedlich, es gibt keine Standardisierung des Service. Die neue Mitarbeiter muss dringend lernen, wie man mit Kunden umgeht. Unhöflich und mit persönlichen Bemerkungen. Das ist nicht akzeptabel!!!!!! Die Geschäftsleitung muss sich jetzt darum kümmern.

Der Dönerteller und der Dürüm waren relativ kühl. Die Pommes waren zu lang in der Friseuse. Das Fleisch war von interessanter Konsistenz. Der Inhalt des Dürüms, obwohl es sich um die Variante mit Fleisch und Käse handelte, war sehr überschaubar. Der Mitarbeiter war sehr reserviert.

Personal erscheint manchmal gelangweilt, was wahrscheinlich schnell als unfreundlich interpretiert werden kann... Nichtsdestotrotz erwarte ich beim Döner, dass der Döner schmeckt! Und das tut er. Pizzas sind auch sehr gut.

Die Pizza war eine Wucht! Nur die Wartezeit war etwas lang.
