Service minus 10 locker, unfreundlich, frech. Haben ständig großes Mundwerk. Kein Wort auf deutsch aber die Gosch aufreißen. Sagst willst ohne Zwiebel „NEIN ZUSPÄT“ was das für Bedienung. Ekelhaft, widerlich nie wieder dort. Macht dicht den Saftladen. Ich bin allergisch gegen Zwiebel soll ich das trotzdem essen und abkratzen oder wie nun.

Unfreundlich und nicht zu empfehlen

Man kommt rein 3 Angestellte. Alles normal Laden leer Einer fragt was man möchte. Dürüm. Darauf hin kassiert der eine sofort 8€. Weiß aber garnicht was ich drauf will. Dann kommen wir zum Belag ich wollte nur Salat und Käse. Dann meinte der eine das kostet 0,50€ mehr. Trotz ohne Blaukraut, Zwiebeln usw. Sollte ich unbedingt diese 0,50€ zahlen. Keine Kulanz, da sollte man eben mit dem kassieren warten. Am Ende musste ich es zahlen. War das letzte Mal Absolut nicht zu empfehlen keine Ahnung von Gastro

Die Angestellten sind eine absolute Katastrophe. Frauen, die am Laden vorbeilaufen, werden nachts teils anzügliche Angebote hinterhergerufen, was ein absolutes No-go und Kündigungsgrund ist. Auch tagsüber ist es leider nicht besser, die Angestellten sind sehr unfreundlich und schnauzen die Kunden regelmäßig an. Geschmacklich ist der Döner ok, eben ein standard Fabrik-Döner, aber die Angestellten haben keine Ahnung, wie man ein Dönerbrot schneidet, weshalb der Döner auseinanderfällt. Hab es über die Jahre ein paar mal probiert, leider immer das gleiche. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

Ich hatte eine hervorragende Erfahrung. Die Mitarbeiter waren äußerst professionell, hilfsbereit und überaus freundlich. Ihr Verhalten war durchweg zuvorkommend und einladend. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Service. Absolut empfehlenswert. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Solider Döner, viele Sitzmöglichkeiten hinten, glaubt man gar nicht. Und Kartenzahlung problemlos möglich.

Das Essen dort ist echt klasse. Wer Döner mag und in Bayreuth ist, sollte dort auf jeden Fall mal vorbei schauen. Die Preise sind auch voll oke. Die Mitarbeitenden sind meist freundlich. In diesem Restaurant ist Selbstbedienung angesagt. Die Ambiente ist in Ordnung. Es ist zwar teils laut, aber gut, da können die Ladenbesitzer ja nichts für. Die Einrichtung lässt zu wünschen übrig. Die Toiletten sind akzeptabel.

Mitarbeiter sehr nett, auch schön eingerichtet, aber Döner ist leider nichts. 0815 Döner, schmeckt alles nach der üblichen Industriepampe. Dazu trieft der Döner vor Soße…keine Weiterempfehlung!

Niee wieder!!! Ich habe einen Dürüm mit Pute bestellt und ganz klar gesagt, was ich will. Bekommen habe ich Kalbfleisch, ohne Nachfrage, ohne Entschuldigung. Wenn man nicht mal zwischen Pute und Kalb unterscheiden kann oder es einfach egal ist, dann läuft hier gewaltig was schief. Der Dürüm war fettig, labbrig und hat unangenehm gerochen. Das Fleisch wirkte alt, zäh und kaum durch, mir ist beim Essen richtig schlecht geworden. Die Soßen waren einfach reingeklatscht, alles schwamm, das Brot war matschig und kalt. Hygiene? Fragwürdig. Der Laden wirkte ungepflegt und das Essen hat genau so geschmeckt, wie der Eindruck war. Wenn man etwas bestellt und bewusst etwas anderes bekommt, ist das respektlos und ekelhaft. Istanbul Döner – absolut keine Empfehlung. Spart euch das Geld und den Magenkrampf.

Wir waren zu viert unterwegs und haben uns überlegt döner zu holen, der döner an sich war okay aber der mitarbeiter war bisschen agressiv drauf wir hätten mehr gastfreundlichkeit erwartet. Die soßen waren nicht so lecker und mein brot war nicht gut geschnitten und der scharfe soße war zu süß…

Sehr unfreundliche Bedienung. Man wird direkt rausgeworfen, wenn man nicht sofort bestellt. Ursprünglich wollten wir erst mal auf Kollegen warten - aber somit gingen wir wo anders essen. Leider muss man einen Stern geben um zu bewerten.

The quality of the beef doner kebab was really below average.

A terrible doner kebab plate, old fries that had been double-fried, poor quality meat, and then they even asked for a tip – that was just awful.

Generally my favorite döner kebab in Bayreuth... I usually go there with my girlfriend and it's normally always great... but yesterday... yesterday my girlfriend and I apparently had a bad case of food poisoning, we vomited until everything was out and there was even more blood, etc... The doner kebab was absolutely standard... and all for 7 euros! The bread was far too thin and overbaked! Half the doner practically fell apart!

I've been to Istanbul twice now and have to say that this restaurant is about average. The place offers a large menu, and on both visits I ordered a doner kebab. Once to take away and once to eat in. The taste of the doner wasn't anything special, just standard. That means it wasn't bad, but nothing special either. Nevertheless, I personally enjoyed the doner both times. That's why I'm giving the food 4 out of 5 stars. The service, however, is the complete opposite of the food. It's lacking, as the staff at the counter sometimes have communication problems. For example, today I actually wanted a doner plate, but I received a doner kebab instead. I still ordered the doner kebab. The restaurant officially accepts card payments, but card payments weren't available today. I tried to pay with my card, but the machine seemed to be broken. The employee didn't know what to do and suggested I go to an ATM and withdraw some money, which would have meant leaving my doner kebab there. Luckily, I had cash with me. But if you advertise card payments on your window, then it should actually work. Therefore, I can only give the service category 1 out of 5 stars. The ambiance was so-so. Some guests were talking loudly, making a quiet or relaxed meal in a pleasant atmosphere impossible. However, the restaurant's decor is commendable and, subjectively speaking, beautiful. Therefore, I can give the ambiance 3 out of 5 stars. Overall, I can give it 3 out of 5 stars, mainly because the doner kebab was nothing special, the card payment terminal was broken, and there were communication problems.

I've been to this restaurant several times with my family. But last time was definitely the last. The service was, as always, unfriendly and unmotivated. It was clear that customer service wasn't a priority. It wasn't particularly busy, but we were rushed through our meal even though we spent a good €70 that day. The food itself isn't bad, but it gets cold quite quickly and therefore becomes rather inedible. In the end, we were quickly ushered out because about 10 adults and 10 children had crammed into the back room, which was very smoky, turning the place into a kindergarten. A quick suggestion to turn the noise down would have been appropriate. Sadly, that was my last visit.

First, the food: The tuna pizza was, against all expectations, truly world-class and very good. Unfortunately, the rest wasn't so great: When a family spends €70-80 there, at least some feigned customer interest would be nice. You're making a lot of money, yet you treat us like dogs. "Next!" is shouted even though we're all standing right next to you. It's really not that stressful at your place. It only gets stressful if you, as a customer, decide to sit in the back room: I couldn't tell if we were at some kind of children's birthday party or a mixed wedding. More children screaming than in a kindergarten. Also, your back rooms are still completely filled with smoke (easily after 3-4 years)? Can't you ever get some ventilation done? You're making enough money, after all. But unfortunately, not with us anymore. The old owners were at least friendly; the new ones aren't. It's become a strange place...

The staff were close to falling asleep, and the quality of the kebab was accordingly poor. The staff is also very forgetful, so my kebab came without cheese, even though I wanted it and paid for it. The quality of the meat was anything but satisfactory.

The food was delicious, the place is nice in a great location. The only thing I disliked was no soap nor anything to dry your hands after washing in the restroom. Hope they pay more attention to these details.

My favorite kebab shop was closed yesterday, so I looked for an alternative nearby. Unfortunately, this visit didn't meet my standards for kebabs. The bun was very brittle, the meat quality was industry standard. The vegetables were fine, and the sauce was okay. As a customer, I felt like a number... next, quick, €7, thanks, next. There was so much sauce that it ran over my fingers while I was eating, and the meat and other items slipped out of the bun. Very annoying during my lunch break. I don't think every kebab shop should have the same prices just because they sell kebabs.

Never again! That was the worst kebab I've ever eaten.

Stay away! Friendliness of the service is the lowest of the low. Stale fries go back into the fryer. Clearing and cleaning the tables are out of place. We went with high expectations, but the disappointment was even greater.

A better name for a restaurant would be "snack bar with seating." Service...none. You get everything yourself and walk along the counter for cutlery and drinks. You have to request a glass. Only the food is brought, presumably so as not to bother the staff behind the counter. The food served is not worthy of a Turkish restaurant. Anyone familiar with Turkish, excellent, and very tasty cuisine will be deeply disappointed. Our colleagues in Duisburg, Berlin, Mannheim, and Cologne would be horrified. Well, tried it once and definitely never again. It's a shame, a great location and, with a bit of determination, a good place.

I ate Istanbul pizza there with my wife today, and it was so delicious. The restaurant staff are very nice. It's nice to see the extremely friendly and personable staff in the restaurant.

I ordered a doner kebab box and was absolutely shocked. There were seriously maybe five fries in the box, which you could count on one hand. The rest? It felt like 50% air! There was barely any meat in it, and what little there was tasted dry and bland. Salad? None, or buried somewhere deep down. For the price, it's an absolute disgrace—it has nothing to do with a doner kebab box. It definitely won't fill you up. Clear recommendation: Stay away!

A definite recommendation for pizza day. €7 for a pizza is unbeatable. The Istanbul pizza with doner meat and pepperoni is a must on Wednesday nights. But don't arrive too late; they run out of pizza after around 9 p.m. The quality of the pizza isn't bad either. The doner kebab is just okay; there are much better ones just around the corner. Service is mostly unfriendly and disinterested. But it is what it is. Somehow, that's part of it. The location is great, and you can sit outside comfortably. The interior is gigantic and also nice to sit in. All in all: a definite recommendation for pizza day, but otherwise not so much.

Cool concept with special days like pizza Wednesday and kebab Thursday. Pick up is quick and the Istanbul pizza is particularly recommended.

Unfortunately not recommended. The food was OK, but nothing more. Meat and fries not very seasoned and rather bland. The yogurt sauce tastes a lot like mayonnaise. The tables and menus were not clean and had grease stains. There was a haze in the air throughout the restaurant, one thought there had just been a fire. It smelled extremely like food. The ventilation doesn't seem to be working. The staff wasn't really friendly, you had the feeling that you were disturbing the guest. I won't be going there any time soon.

By far the worst kebab in my life. Unfriendly the staff. Bread way too soft. Sauces without taste. Industry meat. Almost entirely hack. In other cities the store would have been BANK for a long time, but for Bayreuth it's probably enough... impudence. NEVER again... if you think the kebab is good, it has zero taste. 🤮

Went by today with my partner for a quick bite and ordered 2 Börek with spinach & cheese to take away. Unfortunately it was very inedible. First of all, it was partly ice cold, the 2 bottom layers of the Börek were completely stuck to the aluminum foil and the taste was really not good. 10€ for that! Never again.

We went to get a kebab after 10:00 p.m. but were horrified by the staff, the rudeness you would expect, and the wrong occupancy was pissed off!!! Because you didn't say it early enough, the kebab fell apart in the middle after 2 bites. We wanted to have our food packed and had to do it ourselves. Absolute disgrace!!!!!!

Found it spontaneously, very tasty, great service and friendly staff. Always happy when we are back in Bayreuth.

I recently visited Istanbul Döner in Bayreuth and was completely impressed. As soon as you enter the shop you can feel the friendly atmosphere and the inviting smell of freshly grilled meat and aromatic spices. The service was excellent. The staff was not only friendly but also extremely efficient. My order was taken quickly and prepared quickly. What struck me particularly positively was the cleanliness of the store, which is not always a given when it comes to snack bars. The highlight was of course the kebab itself. The meat was juicy and perfectly seasoned, the sauces harmonized perfectly and the fresh vegetables gave the kebab a crisp freshness. The bread was also pleasantly crispy and tasted freshly baked. The portion size was generous and the price-performance ratio was absolutely right. I will definitely come by soon!!

The food tastes good as always and I always enjoy going here and enjoying the food. This slim employee of yours is always rude, I was in the restaurant today waiting to order, there were 2 married couples standing in front of me and they were about to order their food, the employee was below them and the other customers and even me Damn, he doesn't know how to deal with customers. If he is not in a good mood or has other problems, he should stay at home and take sick leave instead of letting out his frustration on the customer!! If the food is made with an abnormal tone and with rude handling, the food will not taste good.

Service was quick even when there were a lot of people there. Both pizza and any kind of kebab taste very good. The meat is of good quality as is the bread. However, I ordered "a little bit spicy" and it was a bit too much. Generally a 4.5.

Nice restaurant in the middle of Bayreuth City. We ordered a doner plate with veal, salad and fries. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant was clean. The kebab plate was very tasty. I have absolutely nothing to complain about. There was just a bit too little on the plate for €10. Otherwise everything was great.

The Istanbul restaurant in Bayreuth is definitely worth a visit! We ate pizza, kebab and pide here and all were absolutely delicious. The staff was particularly notable - friendly, attentive and extremely quick to serve. We will be back definitely!
