My mother's food is better but hers is also good

It tasted delicious. Top service, unfortunately only cash payment. The location is central and there are outdoor seats on the sidewalk.

Today I ate at the Istanbul Ocakbasi Restaurant in Hildesheim for the first time. What great thing can I say? For me, by far the best kebab I've eaten in Hildesheim so far! 😊💪 The service was great and super warm. The ambience is authentically Turkish. Next time I will also try the other culinary specialties of Turkish cuisine here. Conclusion: very happy again!

We chose this place to go to dinner with a guest on 27.07.2024, we said Adana kebab, the name of kebab is just kebab, it is made of beef, it smells like meat, they put Capri pepper and tail fat in it, bulgur pilaf is completely dry. Didn't the cook check it while making it, I told him to coke to see if it was cooked, it turned out to be sugar water as you know. They fill it from the bottle and they also brought appetizers to the middle. The price of most bayatti kebabs is 16.50 Euros, acid-free coke 0.3 ml 3.20 Euros. While paying the bill, the cashier said two cokes, I said no, but he put 2 cokes into the cash register. The prices in question here are not the prices, quality and price index, if you are selling products for this money. . Do it with quality, it is not enough just to have good tables and chairs.

We tried Yogurtlu Adana and Iskender Döner and really loved them. Thank you for the very good food, the great service and the hospitality, we would be happy to come back.

So either all the people who made the reviews here are on crack or on pep but how can you leave more than one star here? That was top two of the worst kebabs I've eaten in my life. You poor Hildersheimers! If you really like it, then you're on your way. That was an absolute disaster. I wouldn't even recommend something like that to my enemy.

The Istanbul Ocakbasi Restaurant in Hildesheim is highly recommended! I've been there several times and each time I've been amazed by the fantastic food. I would particularly like to highlight the Lamacun – the best I have ever eaten! The dough is thin and crispy, the topping is perfectly seasoned and incredibly aromatic. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant and authentic, you immediately feel welcome. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, and service is always quick and professional.

Unfortunately the food for 16 euros is far too little! You won't get tired of it! What bothered me was the greasy kebab and fries. I personally only ate salad and 12 euros for it! Adaner Kebab itself has been made delicious.

Very good. It always smells very tasty of grilled, delicious meat. Friendly, clean, good selection and you can sit there well. Today 05/27/23 we had Lamacun great 😋 one plate had 3 pieces burnt off on the edge, black. The other plate was all ok. But we were able to make a compromise.

The food is simply delicious. We had a grill plate and a kebab plate with millet. Before that there was delicious bread with 3 dips. 😋 The service is very good. And I found it comfortable to eat there. I'm looking forward to the next visit.

Unfortunately it falls short of every claim. The plate was returned half full because it wasn't okay, but I didn't ask what didn't taste good or what the problem was. You don't need it again

Normalerweise echt gut, sehr lecker und relativ schnell. Warum kann man nicht mit Karte zahlen? Seit über 2 Jahren! Aber an einem Samstag gab es kein Hähnchendöner- und Hackfleisch mehr? Kein Iskender oder Beyti - an einem Samstagabend. Dann habe ich auch noch 1h30 Minuten drauf gewwartet. Einmaliges Erlebnis, welches mich echt umgestimmt hat.

Tolles anatolische Restaurant mit gut gemachten türkischen Gerichten. Die Portionen sind üppig und haben uns alle sehr gut geschmeckt. Vorab gibt es Brot und Dips als Gruß aus der Küche. Besonders hervorheben muss man die wirklich sehr freundliche Bedienung. Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Kleiner Tipp: Holt euch neue Karten, dann gibt's die vollen fünf Sterne. Die aktuellen sehen leider schon sehr runtergekommen aus

Habe mir Reis als Beilage bestellt, Bekomme aber Bulgur,weil das wohl billiger war Auf Nachfrage behauptet man das wäre Hirsenrreis =kenne ich gar nicht.

sehr zu empfehlen! Top Service, sehr aufmerksam, ehrlich und freundlich. Der Adana Teller ist sehr schmackhaft und toll angerichtet. Vor allem die Abstimmung beim Salat war exzellent. Das Personal war super freundlich und hat uns auch empfehlungen ausgesprochen, zusätzlich gab es einen Tee (umsonst) . Wir können die Gerichte vom Holzkohlegrill nur empfehlen. Auch das Baklava schmeckte frisch und hochwertig. Ein Genuss und gefühlt eine Reise in die anatolische Küche. Wir kommen wieder, vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft.

Die Gerichte sind, seit deren Eröffnung, ungeschlagen und richtig lecker! Der Sevice ist schnell und kompetent. Die Qualitäterhaltung ist keinem Restaurant so gut gelungen, als hier!

Bei heißen Temperaturen hier draußen einen schattigen Platz gefunden,auch wenn an der Straße gelegen,das sehr gute Essen hat die Lage wett gemacht.Tolle Präsentation der Speisen,sehr gute Qualität des Fleisches,warmes Fladenbrot mit Dip vorne weg und einen sehr leckeren türkischen Kaffee im traditionellem Gefäß. Das alles bei sehr freundlichem Service. Ein herzliches Dankeschön für dieses Urlaubsgefühl

Wir gehen regelmäßig hier her und das Essen ist immer super. Die Linsensuppe ist Klasse, vorweg das Brot und Dips und der Tee am Ende- immer wiedertop!

Wir waren heute spontan in diesem Restaurant. Die Speisekarte bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas und das zu sehr guten angemessenen Preisen. Die Speisen waren rasch am Tisch und sehr lecker. Der Beilagensalat bestand ausschließlich aus frischen Zutaten. Um die kurze Wartezeit zwischen Bestellung und dem Essen gab es einen kleinen "Gruß aus der Küche". Unser Kellner war sehr nett, aufmerksam ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Wir kommen bei Gelegenheit sehr gerne wieder.

War mal besser. Dönerteller für 12€ gefühlt kleiner als ein Döner. Weniger Essen und qualitativ schlechter, wegen Inflation ? Können wir nichts für. Servierte sah aus als hätte jemand rein geniest und hunderte Fliegen. War leider letztes mal dort zum Essen.. schade

We come here whenever my family crave for some Turkish foods. Great foods. Close to what we had in Istanbul. Service is also good. They also provide complimentary flat bread with different dips while they’re preparing your order. At the end of the meal, they also offer free Turkish tea which is really nice. Love their Kunefe. It tastes like Hafiz Mustafa, but size here is smaller and they don’t have option to add ice cream.

Es war… richtig lecker. Wir kehrten dort mit einer angemeldeten Gruppe von ca. 25 Teilnehmern ein. Und wurden kleine Vorspeisen und mehrere Platten mit Fleisch zur freien Verfügung serviert. Ich habe selten so gut und wirklich lecker türkisches Essen gegessen. Das Fleisch war saftig und auf den Punkt gegart. Alle Fleischarten, Huhn und Lamm, waren sehr gut und sehr unterschiedlich gewürzt! Die Bedienung war extrem freundlich und aufmerksam! Jederzeit wieder!
