Isoletta PMP Europaviertel in Frankfurt am Main

Too bad that this Isoletta PMP | Europaviertel is not carrying the same quality at least comparing to the one at Schloßstraße. Ordered Spaghetti Aglio Olio at both places, the one here at Europaviertel overcooked the garlic, hence the taste of their signature olive oil is totally being overrided. While the dough of their pinza is still very good, the beef that I ordered was not fresh, hence the taste was a bit old.

Pleasant atmosphere with solid food

The best pinsa I've ever eaten. Very friendly and attentive staff and a cozy atmosphere. A great overall package.

Both pineapples were very good (especially the cherry tomatoes) and plentiful - but still rather expensive. Three servers at our table - they ranged from friendly and courteous to cheeky. One star deducted for that. The interior was pleasant, but that's a matter of taste. Addendum 10/18/2025 We were given a corner seat by the window (back left). Only a few minutes later did we notice the cobwebs and spiders behind me in the corner. At head height. So we moved. There were cobwebs there too, on the heater. The same applies behind the lamp on the wall. Unpleasant. Hopefully, this is handled differently in the kitchen!

I (obviously 8 months pregnant) was at the restaurant with my sister (who doesn't drink alcohol) for dinner. Since there was no non-alcoholic aperitif listed on the menu, we asked the waitress if they had anything. She then went to the lady at the bar, who came to our table. She asked us what we were looking for, but she seemed quite unsure and arrogant. We both just said, "Something like Aperol—but non-alcoholic." With the words, "I'll make you something," she left. 10 minutes later, the drinks arrived, and I immediately smelled that the drink contained real Aperol. When I asked the waitress (who really couldn't help it and tried hard – it's important to mention this!) what was in the drink, she called her colleague from the bar again. The answer: "Yes, we didn't have any non-alcoholic sparkling wine, so I took some Aperol and topped it up with juice and seltzer" left me speechless. She simply acknowledged the fact that I was pregnant and wanted to drink 0.0% alcohol and then asked us what we wanted to drink instead. Aside from the fact that a small sip wouldn't cause lasting harm to my baby, a recovering alcoholic or someone with severe liver disease could have been sitting there. That's really unacceptable. The "apology" afterward was also more than meager, and I don't think she was particularly interested either. The food was quite delicious, but this experience caused my sister and I to never visit the restaurant again.

The food is okay. The portions of pasta and pinsa are rather small for the price. The service was adequate, despite the almost empty restaurant. The chef's remarks, which he probably finds funny, were quite inappropriate, and he seemed quite stressed despite the manageable crowd. That doesn't exactly lift the mood. This place doesn't have much of a soul, but it doesn't seem cold or anything either.

We felt so comfortable. The staff is friendly and attentive. It was like being in your own living room. Oh, and the food was delicious, too. We'll be back. A definite recommendation for parents with children.

It was an absolute disaster. The food was overpriced and not tasty. My pasta was completely undercooked, and the Pisa was topped with sour sauce and not the ingredients listed on the menu. The service wasn't particularly friendly either, and we're going home in a bad mood.

Terrible experience! We ordered one thing and received another, the worst service I've ever received in a Frankfurt restaurant.

We ordered through Uber Eats and it was unfortunately disastrous. The pinsa wasn't cut, but the pasta was even worse, as it came completely without sauce. It was bone dry, stuck together, and completely flavorless. We were at least able to tear the uncut pinsa into shreds, but we really didn't feel like making a sauce for the pasta. So for people who have leftover sauce and need pasta instead, it's a great choice. Although a bit pricey. Unfortunately, there was no compensation for this absolute insolence, and so we won't be ordering from here again.

We've already been there four times, both as a couple and with friends, and it's always a sure bet! 👏🏻

This review is based on two visits to this establishment. Firstly, I have to say that the food was simply wonderful! The food is the reason we returned a second time. The restaurant is really lovely, with a nicely screened outdoor area. We chose to sit inside both times,because we hate smoking. The first time, there were only three other people inside,and the second, we were the only ones indoors, and there were very few on the terrace on both occasions. But why is such a lovely restaurant so empty? Well, perhaps it is because they have no coffee? (We were willing to accept their coffee machine had broken the first time we were there, but to hear the same excuse three days later??) And then, there is the fact they have NO ice cream?? Again, once may be acceptable - but twice? Directly across the road from the restaurant is a Penny Market, where they could have bought both coffee and ice cream.Certainly, these would not have been of the standard expected from the establishment, but they would have been FAR preferrable to having neither available to guests. (After leaving early and in disgust the second night, we walked barely five minutes down the road and had coffee and ice cream at an American themed bar/restaurant on the other side of the road) On our second visit, we were the only people sitting inside.The waiter actually remembered the drinks we had ordered three days before, which is commendable - However, we then waited AGES for him to re-appear to take our order. After our dinner, I had to then actually seek him out to order drinks. Then, when I ordered Tiramisu (one of only two desserts available,and the dessert I`d enjoyed on our first visit),I was served something which comprised of some wafers and a Tiramisu sauce- NOT a Tiramisu! Again,after being finally served this sham dessert, the waiter became invisible. We grew increasingly frustrated and decided enough was enough and went up to the bar to pay. Neither of the waiters was visible.The girl at the desk had to go through a door behind her to verify the bill with, we presumed, the invisible waiter.When I told her we were not adding a tip, she (clearly reluctantly) asked why we weren`t happy. We told her that having no coffee,no ice cream, and no proper Tiramisu meant they were NOT an authentic Italian restaurant,and that the service had been pathetic. It is, genuinely,very rare for me to post a negative review of a Restaurant. But this establishment was SO dissappointing and unprofessional that myself and my girlfriend felt strongly enough to post a detailed review of our experience. We`d rate the food 10/10,no hesitation - We`d rate the restaurant itself 10/10, no hesitation....But a restaurant with no coffee and no ice cream??.... 1/10 .. and the service,particularly the second night....also 1/10......................... This is a lovely place, with wonderful food - It should be packed every night....Whoever owns this place should be,seriously, looking into why it isn`t.......... If he/she wants our opinion as to why that is - feel free to contact us for a more detailed explaination......................

More than solid pinsa and friendly service! Highly recommended!

My experience is a mix of recent reviews: I arrived as a guest when only one table was occupied, but I was very attracted by the truly beautiful ambiance. I quickly ordered a drink and food (salad and pinsa; when asked whether the salad should be served first or with the main course, I ordered it with the main course). The drink arrived soon after. After that, nothing happened; only the neighboring tables, which had arrived after me, all received their food (three tables). After a 30-minute wait, I was asked what I had ordered. I remembered my side salad, but I had forgotten the name of my pinsa. The waitress left briefly, and I thought she would bring me the menu again, but she came back without it and listed several pinsa dishes. I then helped myself by taking a photo of the menu on Google Maps. After a 35-minute wait, my salad arrived (apparently as an appetizer instead of with the meal as ordered). The pleasantly large salad unfortunately didn't stand out for its exceptional freshness; I cut out a few brown spots in the salad. After 50 minutes, the pinsa arrived. Despite the hefty €23, I wasn't particularly impressed; it tasted more like foccacia. After the meal, I wanted to pay and was asked whether I wanted to pay with cash or card. I opted for cash. Shortly afterward, the bill arrived, but the waitress only appeared with a payment terminal that accepted card payments. To end what was, for me, a less-than-special evening, I paid with a card.

Unfortunately, the quality has declined. It used to be great, but not anymore. Tables aren't clean, the service is a bit sloppy and somehow doesn't seem to be that enthusiastic. Pinsa is okay, but not convincing. If you sit outside, the apartment building's garbage cans stink :-(

Very nice and tastefully decorated in Italian style. The pinsa and wine are delicious. The staff are friendly. We'd be happy to return!

The atmosphere is really appealing, but neither the service nor the food were completely convincing - I found both to be rather average. The prices are in the upper segment. What was a bit irritating was the dismissive look from the bald waiter when I gave a tip of €2 - even if that's not a given, I would have liked more appreciation. In retrospect, I think that a €2 tip was more than generous given the service.

The food was perfect, except that there was little staff and the guy who served us was super, but being alone and there being many tables made it difficult for him.

Nicely styled interior. The menu is limited to starters, pasta and pinsa. The homemade ravioli with pistachios was delicious and the service was attentive.

This was my second time here and unfortunately I was disappointed again. The food is mediocre at best - the salad with avocado was completely overpriced for what you get: no dressing, just olive oil, unsalted, without any spices. The biggest negative point, however, was the service. When I politely asked about the ingredients of a dish, the waiter reacted completely inappropriately and replied in an irritated tone. That's not how you treat guests. Conclusion: If you value good food and friendly service, you've definitely come to the wrong place here.

I gave this place another chance after a long time but the service got so much worse!!!!! DO NOT GO if you want to have a nice time and good food.

The vegetarian pinsa calzone was crispy and pleasantly light. The prices are juicy.

We were there with the class and reserved the tables several weeks in advance and passed on the order well in advance. The waiter was unfriendly and seemed annoyed, the food didn't really taste good and seemed unloving. My pasta cost €18 rounded up and I also had a Cola Zero. When I paid it suddenly cost €23, almost €5 for a small Coke Zero. While serving the food, he told my friend that his beer was the “gay beer” because it was non-alcoholic. It's really not worth it in any way.

Came here due to the great reviews and was expecting a nice service and food but instead had the worst experience ever! The service was awful! A tall, young lady was our waitress and she was extremely rude that made us all very uncomfortable! She seemed very annoyed and was not friendly at all!! We waited a very long time to get our order taken, to get our food and to pay! I order a pasta with pesto and it was a joke! So bad! To be honest pasta with pesto from Barilla tastes better. I think they ran into an issue that night ( maybe few personal) or problem with suppliers nevertheless customers shouldn’t be treated bad! In the end I was taking my coat to go out of the restaurant and didn’t notice the young tall waitress wanted to pass by with some glasses and she just screamed at me and gave me a terrible look! She was so annoyed at me that I felt very uncomfortable! This is not proper behavior!

Pinsa was okay, high quality but not the best. Overall service quality was nice. For the portion it feels a bit expensive.

My favorite dish (pasta made from warm cheese with truffles) has seriously deteriorated in quality over the years. Can't recommend it more. The coffee comes from a capsule machine...

I've had lunch here several times and can unconditionally recommend the dishes on offer. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly.

On one hand I can say that the food was generally “German” to my somewhat American palette- the dishes were monochromatic, heavy on starches, and somewhat simple. On the other hand everything was absolutely delicious and I’d totally eat here again. The ravioli was fantastic.

We had dinner at Isoletta yesterday. We were very enthusiastic about our dishes. The Pinsa are really great! We also received very friendly and excellent service. A great place to spend a cozy evening with friends!

The 4 of us had an excellent meal, the Pinsa is an absolute recommendation! The ambience is lovingly decorated in Italian inside and out. Staff absolutely accommodating, very polite and yet not intrusive! 100% recommendation from us!! A must on your next visit to Frankfurt!

We spontaneously went to Isoletta / Europaviertel for dinner. The restaurant is really beautifully decorated inside, you immediately feel at home and get that holiday feeling. The service was excellent all evening and the food was truly excellent. My ravioli with pistachio cream was especially sensational. We recommend.

Italian restaurant decorated in bistro style. Small but nice menu. I don't know what to think of it, waiter came quite often to refill (bottle of mineral water) attentive, or businesslike? Prices for food and drinks in the medium range. Conclusion: Good, but nothing extraordinary.

Terrible pizza and the atmosphere is perfect compared to the rest of the restaurants in Frankfurt. If I decided to go to Frankfurt again I would definitely stop by for pizza

Unfortunately, I couldn't redeem my gift voucher for lunch today, even though it was issued there on March 13, 2024 and was also purchased there. Apparently this doesn't work because of a change in ownership since April 4, 2024. Incomprehensible at all. Should it be redeemed somewhere else at the Isoletta PMP in Frankfurt, how is that supposed to work? Impossible!!

Wonderful restaurant! Great Pinsa! Great idea! We were among the restaurant's first customers and loved it from the first bite! Nice ambience, great implementation of the idea to create a flair! Good food, open style! It is often full and very popular, so it's better to reserve well in advance. There are no parking spaces, but there are a few parking spaces not far away on Mainzer Landstrasse and there are some free parking zones on Frankenallee (parallel to the large Mainzer Landstrasse).

Wir waren nicht zum ersten mal dort, aber erst jetzt komme ich dazu mal eine Bewertumg zu hinterlassen. Pinsa unterscheidet sich von einer Pizza vor allem im Teig. Der Pinsateig besteht überweigend aus Sauerteig und geht besser auf und ist meist fluffiger. Ich bin ein Fan dieses Teigs und im Isoletta wurden uns richtig leckere Pinsa serviert. Der Service war aufmerksam und war, trotz gut besuchtem Lokal, entspannt und souverän. Danke für einen schönen und leckeren Abend.

Unfortunately, Isoletta is no longer what it used to be. It was a really recommendable address when it opened back then, but now we were there for the last time. The pins are put into the oven frozen, my calzone was frozen inside. Unacceptable in the price category.

Has clearly developed into a negative one. The selection and size of the pins has decreased and the pasta is totally over salted. Service was non-existent, we were brought the wrong dishes and drinks several times, even though we had a normal order. Ambience still okay, but loud volume.

The staff is very nice, the atmosphere is also very nice, you feel very comfortable, and the food is a 10/10 and tastes very tasty. I can only recommend it.

Good morning, last night I ate fabulous tongs, perfect dough, it melted in your mouth, it was a beautiful evening with excellent staff, a beautiful environment and above all Italian music. I will definitely go back.

The atmosphere is very modern, but with beautiful details from Italy. You feel very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You get great recommendations and you can tell that there is attention to detail here. The food is incredibly delicious! Very diverse and with an extra portion of love on the plate. Cool Italian - had a great evening here! The starters were so good and filling that there was hardly any need for a main course afterwards. At the end there was a dessert on the house - just great! We'll definitely stop by again.

Sorry guys, if the mozzarella tastes very sour, even if it is homemade, it is no longer good. And then reacting like that is the last thing

The restaurant was full except for two small tables. Accordingly, the volume was so loud that it was very difficult for me to hear the person sitting next to me. We had made reservations for 10 people, of which unfortunately 2 people didn't come. Despite the free tables, we were so annoyed that guests had to be sent away. The first waitress asked what we wanted without bringing us a menu. The second service person didn't understand German and didn't know what was on the menu. As a result, a meal was “forgotten”. We also had to wait about an hour for the food. The vegan pizza had cheese, so it was definitely not vegan. The bill was of course presented to us in one sum for everyone, without asking beforehand. Overall, there is still a lot of room for improvement.

Me and fiancé decided to try some pasta our first night in Frankfurt and stumbled across this place since it was walking distance from our hotel. We both ordered a side salad, which was fresh and a nice portion size! I ordered a tomato based pasta with turkey breast strips and my fiancé ordered a mozzarella based pasta that included bacon (sorry - don’t remember the names). We both thoroughly enjoyed our food, including the complimentary bread. The turkey wasn’t really seasoned but I think it’s because they relied on the sauce and the noodles. Overall, enjoyed our food and will definitely come back! Sidebar: this restaurant also had a large variety of vegetarian options.

We ate there last year and it was excellent. However, this year the owner or staff has changed and the service has been pitiful. We arrived at 7:45 p.m. and they didn't serve us food until 10:30 p.m., and WITH A RESERVATION! Meanwhile, the music was blaring as the rest of the tables had been served and were having drinks. I went to get their attention and the cooks were cooking for fun. Last year it was a 10 and this year it was an absolute zero since the staff has changed. We will not return, I do not recommend it at all for business dinners after Messe Frankfurt. A disaster.

From four Italians from Brescia I have nothing to say, I recommend it to everyone who comes to Frankfurt

It used to be a nice place for lunch, but the quality has significantly declined. Today, we received a daily menu written in a way that none of us could understand. When we asked the waiter to "decode" it for us, he couldn't read it either. Despite this, we ordered dishes from their daily offerings. The soup was tasteless, and the seafood salad was probably the worst seafood I've ever tried (I would not have ordered it if the waiter hadn't read it to me as "fish salad"). The fish was raw, and even after requesting it to be cooked well, it remained tasteless. It's a pity because it used to be one of our favorite places for lunch during work.

I didn't feel comfortable there. I didn't like the service at all. I found them very rude and unprofessional to incompetent. If the carbonara costs 16 (!) euros, then it must be the best carbonara. In any case, she definitely wasn't. The prices are way too high with poor service.

Fetziger Abend für 30 Personen mit toller Stimmung und leckerem Essen

Ich ware hier zum Mittagessen mit Kollegen, also zur Mittagspausenzeit. Das Ambiente ist typisch für eine Pizzeria, allerdings wird im Hintergrund gelegentlich Rap/Hip Hop gespielt, was ich nicht so passend fand. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und bemüht, es wurde sich auch entschuldigt, dass das Essen trotz nicht vollem Lokal länger gebraucht hat. Das Essen selbst fand ich persönlich sehr lecker; ich hatte die Pistazie Ravioli, die mir sehr gut geschmeckt haben. Kartenzahlung ist möglich. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert, wenn man nicht gerade in Eile ist. :)

They displayed unacceptable behavior by refusing to serve us dinner solely based on our skin color. Despite our arrival at around 21:15 on a Saturday evening, one of the barmen stated that they were closed.
