Extremely fine sushi, beautifully presented, friendly service

Very good vegan food, but unfortunately a bit expensive. They deduct their rating because you can't pay by card. Simply unbearable in a capital city.

An absolute must for vegans! We loved the place and will definitely come back. Especially the presentation of the sushi, which makes it more fun to share and better in the instagram pictures.

this place is absolutely amazing! they offer a huge selection of delicious vegan dishes, a lot of them with interesting twists and also a lot of things i haven't seen at other restaurants before, iro is worth the visit!! we went here for dinner and got the mochi agedashi (soooo delicious) and the edamame as starters, ramen, udon and curry as our mains and both desserts + drinks and everything arrived so fast i also think the pricing is reasonable for the quality the thing i would recommend more than anything is the red hot chili pepper mocktail, ive never had anything like it and it was so delicious :) not too spicy either, just a subtle note that really elevates the drink to the next level my only complaint is that the menu was hard to read in their low lighting

A hugely diverse selection of ramen, sushi, appetizers, and desserts. Everything was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. 😋 The young people who work here are all very friendly, which makes you feel like you're in good hands. Thank you for that. I think I'll be stopping by more often with my girlfriend.

Best vegan sushi i've ever had in my life. It's upsetting that i live on a different continent and can't come back every week. I'll be thinking about the meal i had here for years. Give it a try!! You won't regret it.

We ate there yesterday and honestly don't understand why the restaurant has such good reviews. The food was mediocre at best. One dish was extremely greasy, so much so that we even had mild stomach problems afterward. We wouldn't go back.

The restaurant is cozy and dark, with plenty of wood. Small groups can sit in private booths, or larger groups can sit at tables set close together, or outside in good weather. The food and drink menu offers a fantastically varied selection. We tried many dishes and found them all tasty, not overly spicy. The staff were very friendly. The music was strange and didn't fit the restaurant. The value for money is excellent.

The food was delicious. The atmosphere and decor could be a bit more restaurant-like; it's a bit cluttered now.

From appetizers to main courses – everything is fresh, aromatic, and made with love. The ambiance is modern and cozy, perfect for a relaxed evening. The service was also super friendly and attentive. For us, this is definitely one of the best vegan Japanese restaurants in Berlin – highly recommended!

Tantanmen Ramen: The flavor was good, but honestly, it was really hard to find any protein in the bowl—where was it? It felt like it was mostly noodles and lots of broth. I even left feeling hungry, and I’m not someone who usually eats a lot. For what it was, we found it overpriced since it was mostly broth with almost no protein and not much food overall. On the positive side, the waiter was very friendly and professional the whole time. What a pity!

Pretty authentic taste and all vegan Japanese cuisine. Absolutely delicious and amazing food and very nice service. I go here for lunch on a regular basis, loving the lunch deal. It is also a wonderful place to enjoy dinner with friends.

The food was absolutely top-notch, highly recommended! The drinks were also very good and offered fair value for money. Unfortunately, the service was really bad that day, but maybe just a slight downside. I would definitely go back because of the excellent food.

I wouldn't recommend it. The tonkotsu ramen was very bland; I've had much better ramen. When I complained about it, I wasn't offered a new meal or even apologized. When I confronted the waiter about it, he said, "I can't just go to a restaurant, say it's bad, and then get something for free." That's not good customer service, and I won't be coming back. However, the food came very quickly, and the waiters usually had a pleasant, calm demeanor. What I also found quite funny was when I complained that it didn't taste good, they said, "But it's vegan, right?" As if that's a sign of bad taste 😅😅

Honestly, kinda overrated. There was too much flavor up front but ended up very flat. I wouldnt chose to come back but if i happen to be back i would go for the sushi instead of the ramen route, they where more promising

I'm a big fan of sushi, but I'd never tried purely vegan sushi before. In short: this was some of the best sushi I've ever eaten. Beautifully presented, with a great variety in texture, flavor, and color. Also great: the miso soup and the miso sour 🥹 Service missed a few things and wasn't easy to reach, but that wasn't due to the very friendly staff, but rather due to understaffing during Friday rush hour. We sat outside, so I can't really comment on the ambiance 😉

I had a dinner here. The food was so delicious. I recommend. Only thing is they don’t accept credit card payments sometimes. Before starting to order make sure they will accept your card.

I'm surprised by all the positive reviews I've read here. My experience was frankly disappointing. The food is bland and flat. All the dishes taste the same, dominated only by wasabi and ginger. There's no complexity, no surprising flavors. I've tasted much more elaborate and flavorful vegetarian ramen and sushi elsewhere. Here, it's flat, boring, and uninspired. You can make gourmet and inventive vegetarian dishes, but that's clearly not the case here. The green tea cocktail is another disappointment. A surprising taste at first, but quickly sickening: too sweet, too sour, and difficult to finish. The service wasn't welcoming. Every question seemed irritating. There was no desire to put you at ease or explain. The only positive point: the decor, which is indeed pretty. But these days, many restaurants focus on the setting and quality. Here, only the decor remains in the memory—unfortunately, not the food. Finally, a strange and unpleasant point: the supposedly cash-only payment. Upon arrival, we were clearly told that credit cards were not accepted. But when it came time to pay, another server asked us "card or cash?", terminal in hand. Why this double talk? It's frankly unclear, even borderline.

Great food, great decor, great service. I recommend it; the prices are reasonable too. I'm actually a meat lover, but the vegan sushi won me over. I definitely recommend the special rolls; I've tried everything - everything is delicious! I'd prefer the Sakura Cosmo as a cocktail; it's a great value.

Kitchen closes at 9pm and they did not signal it anywhere. Also they only accept cash payments.

Cozy place, friendly staff, and delicious vegan food!

The starters and drinks are quite good. But the main course unfortunately didn’t suit our taste buds. The staff missed our orders multiple times. However good restaurant to come chill and have some starters.

The vegan Japanese curry was delicious! The service was very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, our drink came with alcohol, even though we had ordered it without. However, that's nothing to stop me from coming back. All in all, a highly recommended place!

The food is quite nice but they don’t accept card payments. It is 2025 and a place like this cannot only accept cash. They also don’t tell you this and the table has a small corner that says cash&ec and that’s the only warning so keep that in mind.

Super delicious, deep & honest flavours. I especially liked the freshness of the slices of tomato combined with the truffle oil. All very balanced. My friend had a miso sour and loved it.

I’m not vegan, but this Japanese vegan restaurant completely won me over. The food was simply excellent — the ramen was rich, flavorful, and satisfying, with perfectly balanced textures. The dessert was also a delightful surprise: creative, not too sweet, and full of taste. But what truly blew me away was the drink called Red Hot Chili Peppers — bold, spicy, refreshing, and absolutely unique. The service was outstanding: friendly, attentive, and fast. The location is good too — clean, calm, and nicely decorated. Highly recommended, even if you're not vegan!

Good bento, amazing vegan Udon noodles, the best I had. The lunch menu price is a good deal. Nice staff, nice terrace. No negative comments. Highly recommend.

Very mediocre and expensive. The green tea costs €5 and comes with a small pot and tea bags! ;-) A bit disappointing.

I had been planning on going to this restaurant for days and finally ended up there for an afternoon snack. We ended up ordering 7 starters between three people and this was enough. Unfortunately we were late for the lunch menu but not a problem we loved the starters.

Good food but menu is only for the week days (not advertised anywhere) and card only 30+€ ... What??

I had an overall good experience. It was my first time trying Hummus made out of Edamame and I noticed some other slightly unusual dishes compared to most of other vegan Asian fusion restaurants, which is quite refreshing. I also appreciated the design of their menu, as normally pictures kinda ruin the whole aesthetic but this one looked quite cool and made it so much easier to decide on the dishes. Only downside would be that we waited for 20min even tho the restaurant was completely empty and the waiters didn’t seem to be bothered at all, nor did they even smile..

I was there yesterday and the food was just phenomenal. I never thought the food would be so good since I hardly eat vegan let alone vegetarian. So big praise for the kitchen and the service. They were very attentive and kind. I'll definitely come back again.

Another fantastic place for vegan Asian cuisine in Berlin! We loved the food here. The menu has a good variety of options to choose from, including starters, curries, ramen and sushi. I especially loved the Halloween crispy rolls. This is one of the places where you’ll probably order too much because it just sounds good and you want to try everything. So be cautious you don’t overestimate your hunger 😉 Service was really nice. Prices are ok.

Always delicious! We have visited the restaurant several times and it is always delicious. Ramen, sushi, noodles and drinks are all recommended. So far there has been no disappointment. Some dishes are a little spicier than you would expect (no indication on the menu). Reservation directly via Google worked without any problems.

I had lunch there with my girlfriend after sports on Good Friday. The food came quickly and was very tasty. The service was very nice and quick. The music was very relaxing and the lighting made you want to linger.

SCAM! Avoid if you have any sense of taste. Everything tastes the same and it’s overpriced. Ordered a ramen that basically was hot water with overcooked noodles.

Ordered the miso ramen. Had only 2 thin pieces of Tofu and 2 pieces of overcooked eggplants in the ramen - honestly, I think there should’ve been more. Lack of taste and structure. Very little sesame. Overall, bland. The service was ok. Although, I wish there was sesame, chili served (or just ready on the table). It’s quite dark inside. Card payment not an option if your check is less than 30€ :/

Had the Shoyu Ramen. Noodles were ok, the vegetables were reasonable in quantity but very little tofu. In general it tasted very bland. Too bad. Very expensive for this mediocre quality.

We ordered two ramen and vegan karaage. The karaage was delicious. The miso one tasted okay, not that type of ramen with a deep flavor but still okay. Unfortunatly the wantan ramen was tasteless. Maybe it's better taking small dishes rather than the main dishes. About the payment: before we sat down they told us "cash only" but everywhere (on the window, on the table) you could read "cash or EC card at 30€". So we went to withdraw. Then, after we returned back to the restaurant I've seen the waitress making two other customers pay with card. Despite this, the waitress was very nice and friendly with us.

We got the green sushi for two and it was amazing.

Quite ok. Service was a little rude, card payments only from 30 euros and only EC, which surprised me. The salad side dish for the starter was old and dried out. But the main courses were pretty tasty. There are no praises, but it wasn't bad either.

Nowadays no Visa or Mastercard is no longer up to date.

Loved the atmosphere and interior design of the restaurant. I can definitely recommend the Gyoza and the homemade Yuzu lemonade, both were really delicious. The main dish (Japanese Curry) was pretty good too. It's worth a visit when you're in the area.
