Amazing variety of vegan ramen! Tempura avocado was also great

The miso ramen was watery and lacked any real flavour. No sesame or Togarashi on the table to season. The eggplant was also still cold/frozen in the middle?! The gyoza was predominantly mushroom and was ok at best. Highlight was the yuzu ginger tea.

Very tasty sushi, we took the menu for 2 people, very good prices. The location is quiet and sunny. The service is very quick and nice.

Skillfully prepared plant- and fungi-based dishes that anyone can enjoy, even if you are not a vegan. 7 'starters' were easily enough for 3 people, though we did also order a curry, which was tasty too. My personal favourites were Agedashi Mochi, perfect texture and balanced flavour, and Edamame Hummus, very intense an tasty. Sakura cocktail was lovely, if you like sweet drinks, Yuzu Fizz was very refreshingand balanced, and the Miso Sour was quite unusual and exciting. Will definitely come back and try their sushi too.

First day in Berlin and we were really craving ramen! This place only offers vegan🌱 food and it's fantastic! We had the: Tori no Teriyaki balls the Tantan Ramen and the Wantan Ramen. We were very excited and the portions were big enough! Great recommendations. We sat outside as the restaurant was full. Despite this, the atmosphere was pleasant. The service staff were very friendly. Blankets are available for cool days.

The starters are super tasty but I can't recommend the Ramen at all. The soup base of the ramens are kind of tasteless and I tried 3 different ones. There are much better vegan options in Berlin.

Always very, very tasty, but once when I was there, the service was unfortunately so understaffed that our food for 7 people came so staggered that the first ones had already eaten before the last ones had their food, but we got two apology desserts . Great store!

Fantastic vegan Japanese food in the center of Berlin Friedrichshain ✨ Got the Tantan Ramen and was not disappointed 🙌🏽

Ca does weren’t lighted, doof was ok but a bit flat and my drink was way too strong. The waitress asked me after a while if I like my drink and I told her it’s abbot strong and her response was that there were some ingredients empty so she added more alcohol. I would’ve preferred to get asked if I want to switch before getting a stronger drink than normally

I spontaneously stopped by with my little big Pookie and was in a very positive mood. The ambience is great. Great dark quiet atmosphere with beautiful light and small plants 🪴 and quiet music in the background. The food is absolute madness. An explosion in taste. I have rarely eaten so well. The whole restaurant is clean and the staff is extremely friendly. Thank you for this great short trip to Japan. We'll come back and tell you more. Haja and Hannes

Here you can enjoy an evening in a relaxed atmosphere. The staff is super attentive and kind, the food was excellent. The portions are very generous. We'd love to come back.

It was our second visit today, our first one earlier this year was also great. Today we had the Yasai Gyoza and Vegan Chicken Crispy Roll + Midori Special Roll, the sushi was amazing. Really glad to have such a good fully vegan japanese food spot in town :)

Visited spontaneously and absolutely loved it! The vegan chicken is a dream and the selection really didn't make it easy to decide. The homemade lemonades are also incredibly refreshing and delicious! Absolute recommendation!

Mega delicious! Edamame hummus with truffle oil - a taste explosion. We also had juicy, vegan meatballs, Crispy rolls vegan chicken and more, everything was delicious!

The Sushi was the best i have ever eaten. The Misu Sup was great and the miso ramen aswell. The Curry was very delicious too. I would recommend the Green Love for everyone who is two people and who likes sushi. The drinks were also good. Overall a very nice experience and atmosphere.

The food is absolutely lovely, the staff is very friendly and bilingual! I recommend sharing one ramen and having some sushi with it, just to have a bit of everything. The tantan ramen broth is great, nicely balanced.

The miso ramen was a little bland, should have had more veggies but it was mostly noodles. But it was okay, just not the best vegan ramen I've had.

Very good vegan ramen. Be sure to try the Yakitori Style herb mushrooms too. Also have a very good yuzu lemonade!

Gyoza were really nicely fried. Everything else tbh it's very basic and plain and really nothing exciting. Japanese cuisine is so deep and attentive in tastes, flavour combination, consistencies... Unfortunately nothing like that. But as usual in Berlin it's enough to be hip to be considered also good.

I find it difficult to understand the positive reviews here. I tried six different dishes and unfortunately I have to say that none of them really tasted good. Either the food was extremely greasy, or it was so covered in sauce that you couldn't taste anything else. The mojito was tasty, but unfortunately the food wasn't convincing.

Shortly after 5 p.m. it is very easy to get a table outside without a reservation. Reservations are likely necessary at later times or on weekends. We can highly recommend the food. The price is a little more expensive but in our opinion it is absolutely justified for the delicious and vegan food you get here. 💯 Super warm and lovely service.

One of the best vegan ramens we've had in berlin - SUPERB. The eggplant melts in your mouth, simulating the consistency of an egg yolk, the tofu with skin is chewy on the outside and soft and delicate on the inside. The soup itself is packed with flavor and gets a slightly thicker consistency from the starch released by the noodle, perfectly coating your palate with every bite. 1000% recommend this to any food loving person, vegan or non-vegan alike. Our server was kind and attentive and we got some delicious drinks as well, made in-house with exciting ingredients.

Although it is a bit pricey, the food is very tasty 👌 The service was not so good, there was only one waitress for the whole restaurant, and the restaurant was full which meant super super super slow service

We recommend. Food is super delicious. The drinks are also great (Red Hot Chili 🤤) Even if you're not vegan, you'll still be full 😅 The service is a bit messy. When the weather is nice you can sit outside.

I can only rate the food based on the menu as we weren't served. The shop was empty, so after waiting 10 minutes we moved on.

Excellent in every way, especially in terms of quality-price ratio. Just a small problem when paying. They do not accept any international payment cards.

Dining outside seems to be a quite different experience than dining in: cheap worn-out chopsticks, tables, etc. I ordered a ramen classic - tantanmen. It was AT MOST mediocre. Watery, lacked flavor, broad overcooked noodles. I mean it felt like somebody attempted to prepare a tantan but failed. It was edible therefore I’m giving two stars, though when you think about it… it’s a ramen place and this was just another meh ramen. I’m writing this review because the rating of this place lured me here and it was a major disappointment. I ordered yuzu lemonade which was served without its yuzu syrup. The bartender was very friendly and helpful, prepared a new drink immediately, though the lemonade was again - underwhelming. The waitress began each interaction speaking German even though I emphasized I only speak English. Idk, everything about this experience is just bad 🥲

Had the vegan tonkotsu and the red hot chili pepper drink. The drink was super refreshing, perfect for a 28 degree day. As a self proclaimed ramen lover, I am always a bit wary of vegan ramen (usually I feel they lack the thickness of the broth). I was pleasently surprised that the broth, despite being vegan had a quite nice creamy feeling to it. With the aroma oil and the noodles it did indeed fulfil the expectation one would have of ramen. The selected toppings also provided a nice variety to the dish.

Loved the sushi and the ramen! Best sushi I’ve tried in Berlin so far. Fantastic desserts!

My new favorite vegan restaurant in town

I've often been to restaurants that offer purely vegetarian or vegan Asian cuisine, but Iro Izakaya Vegan sets new standards. The sushi compositions are a sensation and the service staff is very well trained and very friendly and accommodating. This definitely won't be my last visit.

Super delicious vegan food, creative and varied. Sukiyaki a little too salty but that's a matter of taste. Recommendation for the Avocado Dream, gladly again!
