INSIDE ASIA in Leipzig

Super cute little restaurant! Were visiting Leipzig and came across this restaurant by chance. And thrilled! Very tasty food, nice ambience and super friendly service! If we visit again, we'll be happy to come back! :)

Nothing special Pho soup ok, fried noodles with tofu tasted like nothing.

The food was good and the staff was friendly, but there was a really bad smell of sewage for a while. In addition, there was a beer mat in my glass and I didn't get a new drink or anything like that. It's a shame because otherwise it was nice.

This place has fake reviews!!!! The rating does not correspond to the restaurant and the quality of the food!!!!!

We were very satisfied - the boss was very nice and accommodating, the food was fresh and really good, overall value for money was A1... happy to come again.

Super nice service, really good sushi, really tasty and relatively cheap, especially given the location! 22€ for 6x6 maki (menu), coconut lassi also extremely good!

I ordered one of the sushi meals and decided to have a takeaway rather than eat in as I was on my own and it wasn’t very cosy for singles. Sushi was fine, and the price was reasonable, but there were more crabsticks rather than salmon, than expected. There were only a few other customers, so the service was fast, and the staff nice. Warning that they don’t accept credit cards. only cash.

Greatly located Asian restaurant in a perfectly renovated old building. Very quiet location opposite the Holocaust Memorial.

Price-performance OK, overall just average with an unpleasant surprise at the end. We only ate sushi and unfortunately it was just mediocre. Overall the taste was rather bland, the rice was almost tasteless and overall it had a sticky mouthfeel - even the wasabi wasn't that great. Other than soy, there were no special sauces or dips that could have enhanced the taste. The quantity was sufficient, anyone who wants to be full is well served here - gourmets less so. The service is friendly and attentive - but with only moderate knowledge of German or English. The bad surprise came at the end. After we had ordered and eaten for over €120, we were told that payment was only possible in cash. Unfortunately, you won't find any information about it in advance (in the restaurant or on the menu or verbally communicated) - that's not something that should happen these days. All in all, for me there is no need to repeat it, there are simply too many, much better alternatives in Leipzig. It's a shame, given the excellent location.

I can't count on one hand how many times I've been there, it's super tasty and great value for money. I particularly like the rice dish with vegetables in peanut-coconut sauce, an absolute dream. The staff is super nice, I'm always happy to chat with them. 🤗

We weren't happy with our visit to Inside Asia, we were supposed to sit at the exit with the door open in the rain and storm, even though almost all the tables were otherwise free! The boss was quite pushy and gave me fake change at the end. The sushi was also not of good quality, the salmon no longer tasted good and some of the ingredients were no longer fresh. Unfortunately, the cleanliness in this restaurant is very underplayed, it was very dirty, especially the toilets, and you could also look into the kitchen from the table, which I find very strange/not particularly pleasant. We wouldn't go there again.

Friendly staff, many places, very tasty food and reasonable prices

2 years ago I ate very well but now much better, the coconut soup with prawns and the crispy duck with curry were very good, congratulations and keep it up

A small authentic Vietnamese restaurant. The shop is owner-managed and they are extremely nice and personable. The food is very tasty and suitable for lunch because it's quick and the price is attractive. We really enjoy coming here.

Some of the best food I've ever had in my life. We went back several times. The quality of the food is incredible compared to the price as well. 10/10 would recommend. I'll be dreaming of their curry.

Incredibly delicious food and friendly staff! We were the only ones in the establishment and the lovely lady was very concerned about us❣️ We even chatted a little :) I removed one star for the inability to pay by card. I was sitting with my friends and we all had to shake our pockets to find cash :))

The food wasn't nearly filling, I was still hungry after two main courses, even though they weren't exactly cheap (chicken with noodles, €10.50 and chicken wings €14). However, the sushi there was said to be quite filling.

The restaurant is quiet, cozy, the inside is beautiful and the pleasant staff perfectly complements the atmosphere, the food is delicious, I liked everything

The food was okay, unfortunately there was a hair in the food. The operator was nice, but a bit intrusive in some places. Some of the food was only heated briefly in the microwave.

Wenngleich das Inside Asia etwas versteckt liegt, so lohnt sich ein Besuch auf jeden Fall. Die Betreiber sind sehr freundlich und das Essen schmeckt einfach super. Hier wird alles frisch zubereitet und sehr liebevoll angerichtet. Egal ob man sich für das leckere Sushi entscheidet oder ein warmes Gericht wählt, man wird auf alle Fälle nicht enttäuscht! Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hierher.

Wir wollten zuerst ins An Nam, aber das war viel zu eng und offen bei kalten Regenwetter. Im Inside Asia hatten wir als Vorspeisen Satespiesse (schön kross und nicht in Sauce ersoffen) und sehr leckeren Glasnudelsalat. Hauptspeise war ein Nudelgericht mit Rind in Zitronensauce (schmeckt sehr fein) und eine Pho-Suppe mit Rind. Das Lokal hat ein angenehmes Ambiente und erstaunlich faire Preise. Unverständlich, dass hier weniger los ist. Aber es stimmte alles für uns 👍

Echter Geheimtipp! 😋 Essen schmeckt sehr lecker und Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist echt super. Für Vegetarier und Veganer geeignet. Ich empfehle das Vegane Chicken mit Mango Soße. 👍 Personal ist freundlich und die Portionen gerade richtig. Wir kommen aufjedenfall wieder. 🥢

Sehr leckere Mangosauce mit knusprigen Hühnchen. Mir fehlt die Bezahlung mit Karte ansonsten sehr nette und freundliche Bedienung.

Die Thai-Curry Soße ist absolut zu empfehlen! Sehr sehr lecker!

Plus: Dame freundlich am Telefon, Preis in Ordnung. Minus: Qualität des Sushis und Geschmack sowie Sauberkeit des Ladens am Tag des Besuches nicht zufriedenstellend.

Wer in Leipzig etwas preiswerter Essen gehen möchte, sollte sich in dieser Region einfinden, es gibt mehrere gute Restaurants

Essen sehr lecker, herzlicher Service, Preise angemessen, hier sind wir immer wieder sehr gern!

Meine erste Adresse, wenn es ums Ausgehen + Sushi geht! Leider geht das Restaurant etwas unter inmitten der vielen Restaurants.. Pro: - sehr gutes, wenn nicht sogar bestes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, nachdem ich mehrere Sushirestaurants in Leipzig durchforstet habe - das Essen kommt schnell - Sushi schmeckt gut und sehr viel Auswahl davon, vor allem das „Menü für 2“ (ca 30-35€) kann ich empfehlen. Sehr lecker und man wird ordentlich satt davon bzw bleibt bei uns meist sogar noch was übrig, was wir dann einfach mitnehmen - zentral Contra: - keine Kartenzahlung Fazit: Mein Stammladen, dem ich gerne mehr Kundschaft wünschen würde, denn das hat er sich meine Meinung nach verdient!

Ich gehe öffter zum Familien betriebenen Restaurant hin, es ist mein Lieblings Vietnamesisches Restaurant in Leipzig wenn es um Reis mit Mango Curry und selbstgemachtem Mango Lassi geht. Dazu ist das Chicken was dabei ist schön knusprig frittiert und die Soße schön Cremig.

Das Sushi war sehr schön angerichtet und schmeckte gut. Dir Portionsgrößen sind angemessen und das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Auf Sonderwünsche würde super eingegangen.

Es war alles in Ordnung und werde gerne auch ein zweites Mal dort essen. Wer vietnamesisches Essen kennt, der weiß es zuschätzen.

Essen top, der Viet.Kaffee war unglaublich lecker. Leider waren echt viele Leute dort, sodass man sich aufgrund der begrenzten Fläche nicht mal mehr richtig unterhalten konnte. Ansonsten ...wirklich toller Laden !

Die Chefin ist recht aufdringlich und kam alle 5 min um zu quatschen. Nur wollten wir beim Essen unsere Ruhe. Preislich ist das Essen echt in Ordnung. Lecker war’s auch. Einziges Manko: die Mittagskarte wurde uns erst auf Nachfrage gereicht.

Wir hatten zwei Suppen und den Algensalat als Vorspeisen. Als Hauptgang die Sushiplatte für 2 und gebackene Banane zum Nachtisch. Alles hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Es war alles frisch. Die Bedienung ist mega freundlich. Können wir nur empfehlen. Achtung: Nur Bargeld!

Immer ein Besuch wert :) Sehr lecker und Preis Leistung stimmt. Sehr nettes Personal.

Wunderbarer ausklang eines schönen Abends Ich habe selten so leckeres Asiatisches essen kosten dürfen Nur Empfehlenswert!

Seit Jahren eines meiner stammlokale in Leipzig. Der Geschmack und die Präsentation des Essens ist weit besser als andere asiatische Einheitsbreirestaurants und vom Preis Leistungsverhältnis immernoch eines der günstigsten in Leipzig Ich hoffe sie bleiben uns noch lange erhalten

Sehr leckeres Essen, angenehme Atmospähre, nette Bedienung und keine langen Wartezeiten. Wir hatten Glück und bekamen auch ohne Reservierung einen Platz

Sonderwünsche nicht berücksichtigt, Sprachprobleme - das Essen war so fettig, mir ist jetzt noch schlecht.
