The food is delicious. We had the veggie platter for three and some cocktails. Non alcoholic cocktails were particularly good. The food was full of flavour and incredibly reasonable in price. Only thing about the restaurant isnt the fanciest in decoration but honestly the food and service makes up for it.

I had the beef casserole. If, like me, you think of buttery, tenderly cooked beef when you think of a dish like that: dödüm, nope. The meat filling was just gristle, so I wanted to have the meat replaced. This wasn't a problem in principle, but unfortunately, it took so long for the replacement to arrive that everyone else had already finished. So I declined the replacement. I didn't have to pay for the meal, but it's still annoying that they use such inferior meat. Or maybe I was just unlucky. Whatever, the result is the same.

Two of us ate at Injera today and were very satisfied. The restaurant itself is cozy and beautifully decorated. The patio in the backyard is also really nice! The food was delicious, both the meat and vegetarian dishes. We had a combined platter of both. I highly recommend the honey wine with it! The staff are also very friendly, and there was no wait even during the week. All in all, a lovely visit! We'd gladly go back!

A culinary highlight in the Belgian Quarter! We were thrilled by the Injera restaurant: delicious, authentic food, fair prices, and a warm, attentive host. The Ethiopian-Eritrean cuisine is not only a culinary experience, but also culturally exciting – especially the meal with injera flatbread. The beer from East Africa is also delicious. A place where you feel welcome and will gladly return. Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere on the beautiful terrace in the courtyard. The super friendly service is particularly noteworthy. We felt very welcome and comfortable.

Centrally located, the restaurant offers a clear selection of dishes. There are many vegetarian options, which can also be combined as a platter. Of course, meat is also available. We enjoyed eating with our fingers. The sourdough-based flatbread made this easy. I had to go to the neighboring restaurant to use the restroom. No problem. I had the vegetarian platter and, as a starter, Dopo with lentil dip. Everything was absolutely delicious. The service was really good. I'll be back.

Personally, I don't like the bread at all, and as a core component of all the dishes, that's obviously difficult. But what I find really problematic is when one server is so overworked that it takes a long time to order and she forgets things, while another employee is chilling behind the empty counter. The friendliness and noticeable goodwill of one employee doesn't help much in that case. The mint tea also had hardly any flavor.

The taste wasn't my thing, but the restaurant itself has a truly authentic ambiance, and the service is excellent. Waiting times are pretty short, even when the restaurant is half full. The price is a bit on the high side, but overall, you get high-quality food for the money.

I was here with a friend and we shared a vegetarian platter. The bowls may seem small, but they are enough. We were both almost shocked at how incredibly delicious the food was. This was by far the best thing I've eaten in a long time. I've had similar food in Brussels before, but it doesn't even come close here. Just wow!! Every time I thought I thought this dish was the best, I was proven wrong because everything was the best. As a drink I can recommend the African Limo, it is super refreshing. Injera has been on my list for a long time and I regret not coming sooner! Thank you for the experience, I will definitely come back.

Highly recommended! Good food at unbeatable prices

Somehow not so great! The platters with different dishes are visually appealing, but the taste is absolutely “Germanized”. We were completely missing the spices. Hardly any taste surprises. It seemed a bit like it had been warmed up and refilled. But everything was clean and no total fails. Unfortunately, the wines we tried were really subpar… comparable to €2.99 table wine. So it's better to order Ethiopian beer, it was good. The lemonade (homemade) was also great. Service was friendly but also rather mediocre as we went to the counter several times to order things, for example. water or the bill. And then only cash payment🙄. Value for money, i.e. the quantity (apart from the lack of taste explosions) was ok. Wouldn't go again.

Six of us ate here, the atmosphere is appropriate and the price-performance ratio is fine. Unfortunately we were unlucky with the service. We had to ask three times for the bottle of water, the bread we ordered took a long time to arrive and the bill was incorrect in the end - not in our favor. The first impression often doesn't get a second chance and so it will have been our only visit here.

I had planned to celebrate my birthday with a special highlight and wanted to introduce my friends to Eritrean cuisine. So I ordered food for 10 people from Injera four days in advance and agreed to pick up the order on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. We were told to bring enough Tupperware for the different sauces. On Saturday my husband got there on time. A woman who appeared to be the cook opened the door. When my husband explained to her that he wanted to pick up an order that we had placed with the boss four days ago, she knew nothing. She tried to reach her boss, but to no avail. Our own attempts to reach the boss by phone were also unsuccessful - after several attempts, he finally turned off his cell phone. We were deeply disappointed and angry that we were so let down. Without the food we ordered, we suddenly found ourselves without food for our 10 guests. Luckily, at the last minute we were able to order from FASIKA and pick up the food there, which saved our evening. To this day, a day later, the boss of Injera has not contacted us or apologized. This lack of professionalism and reliability is unacceptable for us. We will definitely never order or eat from Injera again.
