The food was okay, nothing special but edible. Unfortunately, the toilets were very, very dirty, truly disgusting.

The employee was friendly, but the price was completely disproportionate to the quality of the food. The beef was extremely unpleasant and smelled strongly, and the rice noodles were also terrible – the worst Vietnamese restaurant ever. Furthermore, the owner's service was extremely poor, bordering on discriminatory. A definite warning – avoid at all costs.

The food is of very good quality, the ambiance is very nice, but the service is unfortunately lacking; no one asks if everything is okay or offers the option to order more.

My visit to this restaurant was absolutely delightful. I would particularly like to highlight the excellent cuisine, prepared with great care and attention to detail. The duck was superb: wonderfully crispy on the outside, tender and aromatic on the inside – a true culinary experience. Equally impressive is the pho, which is offered in various versions. Each one impresses with its clear, full-bodied broth, fresh ingredients, and well-balanced seasoning. It's clear that quality and authenticity are paramount here. The staff also deserves high praise. They are attentive, warm, and always strive to ensure guests have a pleasant experience. You feel welcome, valued, and exceptionally well cared for – an atmosphere that is not easily found everywhere. Overall, this is a restaurant that not only impresses with its cuisine but also with its warm and welcoming ambiance. I am already looking forward to my next visit and can wholeheartedly recommend this establishment.

We wanted to try this place after shopping and it turned out to be a great choice. It was honestly the fastest service I’ve ever experienced; all our dishes arrived within 3–4 minutes after ordering. The food was delicious; the vegetable spring rolls and curry chicken were especially amazing. The decoration is beautiful, the place is very clean, and the staff are friendly. Definitely recommended!

I was very disappointed with my visit. The food was okay, but the service completely ruined the experience. The Asian waitress with black glasses was extremely unfriendly—no smile, no "please" or "thank you," and she reacted with extreme annoyance when I asked for help. It felt like guests were more of a nuisance than a welcome guest. I've rarely experienced anything like it. It's a shame, because the restaurant itself has potential, but with service like that, I certainly won't be returning.

Terrible service!! You wait forever for service, and after asking twice, you're just told, in an annoyed tone, "Just a moment, someone will be right with you," and this was said twice!!! The food is okay, but the value for money is a disaster. You pay €18+ for a main course that tastes bland and unseasoned. Asking for soy sauce/salt takes forever. By the time the server brings it, I've already finished eating. ABSOLUTE SERVICE DISASTER!!

A very nice restaurant with friendly staff and a great menu. It's worth coming here even if you just want a delicious meal and not to shop in Ingolstadt Village. I've eaten here more than five times, always ordering different dishes, and I've never been disappointed. Highly recommended.

Really delicious food, very fast and friendly service, and a lot of fun with the DJ. (It could be a bit quieter, though.) We really enjoyed it :)

The place is nice. Cosy. But the service is different from my other experiences. Looked for a table myself. Waited long for someone to take my order. I wanted to complain something about my food but no one came although I kept on raising my hand and had even eye contact to the waiters. Pho was not that good for the price. But I like their Vietnamese coffee.

What I consider a big plus point about this restaurant is that the food is served really quickly (we were told it would take 3-5 minutes, and that's exactly how it was). The food is really delicious, and we were very satisfied!

Very incompetent staff. Some guests wait for a seat, while others just sit anywhere. One waitress wants to seat you, but another says no because someone else should sit there.

A very large selection of small dishes and appetizers. A lovely ambiance on several levels. Prices are a bit on the high side, but still reasonable. The food was very fresh and delicious. No pre-made products; everything was homemade. The only complaint was that the server wasn't very attentive and left us sitting for a long time with our empty plates. But otherwise, everything was great.

Very nice and friendly service, and the food was absolutely delicious and brought to our table quickly. We had a seat outside and were very comfortable. The food was very tasty, although the portion could perhaps have been a bit larger.

I ordered a steamed dumpling with vanilla ice cream and desiccated coconut. I couldn't find any coconut flakes. And this has absolutely nothing to do with a steamed dumpling. More like a sweet version of langos. Even though it was tasty, almost €11 for it is simply extortionate. My colleague ordered an iced coffee. It was more ice cream than coffee. It was inedible.

We've been visiting Indochine in Ingolstadt since it opened – and it's always an absolute highlight! The quality of the food is consistently top-notch; every dish is fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. You can immediately tell how much love and care goes into the kitchen. We'd especially like to highlight the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. You don't just feel like a guest here, but truly welcome. It's precisely this combination of excellent food and warm service that makes the restaurant so special for us. We've even brought our friends along – and everyone is thrilled! Indochine is our first choice when we want to go out for a good meal, and we look forward to our next visit every time. A big thank you to the entire team – please keep up the good work!

The service is a bit slow, and there are a lot of flies.

A staple of our "going-out routine" for years. We were eagerly awaiting it even before it opened, and we were not disappointed. The food was, and still is, as expected, excellent and consistently good. The interaction with the staff is very pleasant, and if you have a special request, they will do their best to accommodate it. We have been recommending it for years. A quick tip... the platter for two is a dream, followed by a lovely, delicious soup, and the evening couldn't get any better.

Service couple be much better. Price is alright. Ordered chicken satay and received a chicken curry instead. I asked and they confirmed that it's the right dish. If they googled "chicken satay" very quick, they'll know what satay is grilled on skewers with thick peanut sauce and not a curry dish.

I am deeply disappointed with the service I received at this restaurant due to the completely unprofessional and disrespectful behavior of one particular waitress her name is Heii. Her attitude was shockingly rude, dismissive, and lacking the basic courtesy expected in the service industry. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel unwelcome — no greeting, no smile, and an obvious unwillingness to assist. When we politely asked questions about the menu, she responded with impatience and sarcasm, as if we were bothering her. Throughout the meal, she ignored our table, rolled her eyes when we requested anything, and even spoke in an unprofessional tone that bordered on hostility. This level of unprofessionalism is simply unacceptable, especially for a place that claims to value customer satisfaction. A restaurant is not only judged by its food, but also by the quality of service. Unfortunately, in this case, the waitress’s behavior completely ruined our experience. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the matter appropriately. No customer should be treated with such disregard.

Good Asian Restaurant From my experience with Asian restaurants and my expertise in Asian cooking, I find the restaurant very average and not worth the price. Our orders were: Fried Beef Dumplings 10/10. The menu shows 4 pieces, but they only give you 3! Beef Broth... I didn't like it 4/10 Japanese Beef Entrecote 10/10 Chicken Breast Fillet with Vegetables and Thai Basil 7/10. Unfortunately, the chicken wasn't fresh. We had a very bad experience. The price of the Entrecote dish wasn't clear. We thought it was 23 euros, and the waitress didn't tell us the actual price. We were shocked after she gave us the bill. Please see how the price is written!! Would I try it again? No... We cannot return to a restaurant that cheated us.

We went there for the first time today. We had crispy chicken with vegetables and soy sauce and shrimp with vegetables and curry sauce. Both were really delicious. The price was okay, but the portions could be a bit larger. Otherwise, the atmosphere is really great and the staff very friendly. All in all, it was great.

Excellent authentic Vietnamese cuisine

The food was okay, and most of the staff were friendly. When our child accidentally spilled some sauce, we immediately cleaned it up ourselves. Of course, that's not ideal in a restaurant—but we're paying customers who made an effort to put everything right. Nevertheless, an Asian employee with black glasses approached us rudely and asked coldly, "Did something break?" We deliberately paid a nice colleague because we didn't want to endure her behavior any longer. We had asked if she was the boss—thankfully, she wasn't. Precisely because she's just an employee and we were very happy with the rest of the team, we still left a €19 tip on a bill of €170.

I had chicken with vegetables and peanut sauce, it was really delicious, highly recommended!

My visit to Indochine in Ingolstadt Village was unfortunately very disappointing. The vegetarian spring rolls were an absolute disaster in terms of taste – completely bland and not very appealing in texture. I also ordered Menu 56 with breaded breast fillet, but was served breaded leg instead. When I complained about the meal, it was taken back, but shortly thereafter, the manager, Ms. Aien, returned with the same dishes. Her response: "It's either this or nothing." This behavior was not only unfriendly but in no way customer-oriented. Instead of offering a solution or showing understanding, it was made clear to me that individual requests or legitimate complaints would not be considered. Overall, a very disappointing experience – both in terms of the food and the service. You don't expect something like this, especially not at a location like this.

It was really delicious! Nicely spicy, just right. The service was super friendly, and the food came really quickly—still top quality. The atmosphere is okay, nothing special, but cozy enough. I would definitely go back! A little more rice would have suited the dish...

We've been to Indochine several times in the past and have always been satisfied. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has noticeably deteriorated recently, both in terms of taste and portion sizes. The dessert "Sticky Rice with Mango" for €10.90 per person was particularly disappointing. The portion consisted of only a heaped tablespoon of rice and a very small piece of mango – about a tenth of a fruit. About half a year ago, the same dish was served with half a mango and about three times the amount of rice. The preparation also left a lot to be desired. The rice was undercooked, and the mango was hard and unripe. The overall taste of the dish was unacceptable. We deeply regret this development, as Indochine used to be one of our favorite restaurants. Unfortunately, we can no longer recommend it in its current form.

Not serving well. Waited half hour for the meal. Waiter did not answer our call. And they just telling us rudely to seat down and keep waiting. We are in a hurry at the moment. It is not pleasant to see them keep serving other table but us.

A culinary getaway to Southeast Asia! Indochine totally surprised me – in the best possible way! From the very first moment, you can tell that the food here is cooked with great attention to detail. The flavors are complex, finely balanced, and simply honest. No over-the-top fusion chaos, but authentic cuisine that is still presented in a modern way. The service was attentive but never intrusive. I didn't feel like I was being "brushed off" – more like a welcome guest. A particularly positive aspect: Even at peak capacity, everything ran smoothly and professionally. My highlight: the balance between freshness, spice, and texture. If you value a true taste experience, you should definitely try Indochine. I'll be back – very hungry and even more excited!

As a kürd the rice was very bad. And chicken was also bad sorry. Not my type. I prefer you guys eat rice in a Turkish/kürdish restaurant (the ones who just making pilav/tavuk combine) you will never turn back and look your own rice again. But. „I feel like its very healthy food.“ Everything was clean. Also to go package was so cool. So over all. For taste 10/2 For service 10/10 For price. 10/2 expensive 2 of this bowl and 1 cola 1 fanta 37+7 euro 44 euro.

A somewhat upscale Asian food joint with decent service and very tasty food. As with all upscale establishments like this one, the quantity of food leaves a little to be desired. And their crockery is in dire need of upgrade (as can be seen from the chipped edge of plate in the photo). But a good experience otherwise.

No recommendation. Every fast food restaurant has more motivated employees. Got a table outside. Not even half of the tables were occupied. The service employee saw us and looked at us. But instead of bringing us a card, he stops at a table a few meters away and has an animated, long private conversation with acquaintances and they show each other things on their smartphones. When he then decided to come to our table with cards, other acquaintances walked past the outside area, who also wanted to be greeted again. Then he came to our table, just said "Hello" and put the cards on the table as we passed and was gone. Where? We don't know. After waiting 15 minutes for the menu and then another 5 minutes to place a drink order, we decided to get up and leave. With these very high prices, you would also expect a bit of customer service. Thank God we didn't leave a single cent there. We then got a pizza from Mancini which was very tasty, freshly made and served in 5 minutes, cheaper and very friendly staff.

Very mediocre place. Tasteless soup, tough duck, unsalted noodles. A tiny portion of dumplings. Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk - it feels like they poured half-drunk 3 in 1 coffee. But they served quickly. I definitely don't recommend it.

Please be sure to ask and check the receipt. The waitress tried to verbally tell us an increased amount than the truth so she could "earn" more tip. She deliberately didn't show our receipt in the first place. When we ask for the receipt, she deliberately delayed again. She chatted with her colleagues and simply ignored the customer's request. In the end we had to stand up personally and ask the waitress for the receipt again or finally get it.

Quick to prepare but not tasty at all

The atmosphere is modern and bright. The toilets are clean. The food was tasty. The staff was average. Unfortunately, the relatively expensive food is served in very small quantities. *Update*: I was accused of "defamation" because I find the portion sizes to be too small and the price to be significantly overpriced. When I look at the star rating, I think the company is unhappy because I only gave it 3*.

Visited here 2.4.25, the food was delicious especially the coconut balls. Loved the atmosphere and my server, the lady with black glasses was very friendly indeed. Next time in Ingolstadt Village this is where I will dine. 100 % recommend. 😃😃🍽🍽🥢🥢

There were three of us there. Nice atmosphere, unfortunately my Aperol (the menu said it included Prosecco) didn't have Prosecco, and even after I complained, not a single bubble was visible in the glass. My friends' two Lillets Wild Berry didn't have Wild Berry Tonic, and of the three dishes, one was fine. My rice noodle bowl seemed to have been served without any sauce, and it tasted fine. My friend's curry, which she ordered without mushrooms, came with mushrooms. Unfortunately, after we complained, there were still a few mushrooms in it and the food was cold. The billing was absolutely chaotic, and no one came up short, neither with the price nor with a free coffee or something similar. I haven't experienced that in a long time.

Absolutely not suitable for vegans! We went there for lunch before going shopping in the Village. I had specifically checked online beforehand to see if there was anything vegan. The Village website explicitly stated that they had vegan dishes. Some dishes on the menu are marked with a green V, and since there's no legend/explanation anywhere, I unfortunately assumed these dishes were vegan (especially because one of the vegetarian dishes was without the V). Unfortunately, that wasn't the case, and apparently even the vegetarian dishes contained fish sauce. The waitress didn't really cater to us at all. Coincidentally, the couple at the table next to us had the exact same problem. In the end, I could only eat spring rolls, which tasted good, but the portions were very small for the price. I then asked another waitress whether absolutely nothing was vegan, to which I only received an unfriendly "No." It's a real shame they didn't serve anything there.

I was there earlier and wanted to get a small portion of rice for my one-year-old son. The chef Höchst himself came and gave me a small piece of cleaning rice without even asking for any money. A very nice gesture. Thank you for this loving service 🫶🏼❤️

Currently the best Asian restaurant in Ingolstadt and the surrounding area. The prices are high, but the tastes are like in Asia. I think the places upstairs are much more inviting, but unfortunately downstairs it feels like a canteen when it's really crowded on the weekend. A few fewer tables would make it more comfortable and intimate downstairs. But the queue in front of the store on the weekend certainly doesn't allow it.

For just under 24 euros you get crispy, burnt meat. The sauce was too hearty, it didn't taste good, it's better to go a few meters further.

Unfortunately we didn't like it. The food came unusually quickly - almost 5 minutes after ordering - and therefore did not seem freshly prepared. We were also disappointed in the taste and it was only lukewarm. The prices are clearly too high for what is on offer. Unfortunately, we cannot understand the many positive reviews.

We had a pretty bad experience at this restaurant with our child. No waiter ever came to our table, we had to go get our own menus, and then wait hoping somebody would come to order. We spoke to three different waiters, 4 times, and nobody ever came. 25 mins later we left.

The boss was a complete disaster as he shouted at his staff in an absolutely choleric, disrespectful and extremely loud manner in front of all the guests. He didn't get himself under control for several minutes and created a bad atmosphere.

The taste is okay, the dumplings are delicious. When checking out, I didn't take the initiative to give a receipt. I just asked him to swipe his card and then asked for a receipt. I found a tip of 5 euros written on it, so I asked the Asian waiter what was going on, and the answer was tax. He glared and said the tip was for taxes, then checked Xiaohongshu and asked again, only to admit that the 5 euro tip was added without asking for our opinion. I told the other party that they should give us the receipt when checking out, and then confirm it was correct before swiping the card. As for tipping, we think the food is delicious and the service is good, so it can be given. Moreover, German tipping consumers can choose the percentage on the credit card machine, and cannot be forced to charge it like this. Send it out for everyone’s reference.

We have known Indochine since it opened, but from visit to visit we noticed that the quality of the food and the service had deteriorated significantly. When we visited this week, our food was served within a very short time, which surprised us since the restaurant was fully booked. Looking at the plate gave me the answer: the vegetables and chicken had obviously been prepared for a long time. Accordingly, it tasted dry and bland. I had a dish with a soy sauce. When I asked the waitress that the amount of sauce was very small, she replied that it was already a generous portion, but offered to bring me some more. My son later took over paying the bill because I had left the restaurant early. When I checked the bill on the way home I noticed that the additional sauce was charged at €3.50. What an impudence! I'm not usually one to write Google reviews, but in this case I took the time.

Very friendly staff, the food came quite quickly. The gyoza are so delicious I highly recommend them. For 2 people if you order a drink, starters, main course and dessert it will end up being up to €90. Otherwise it's great

Very small portions, I didn't feel full

Very very tasty. Rather expensive. But noise and running like at a train station.

We were there again yesterday for lunch after about 5 months, the food is getting less and less and the prices are getting higher, unfortunately. The food is delicious and the service is good, but actually you go out to eat to fill yourself up, unfortunately you get up and are still hungry, the rice portion has almost halved, sorry rice costs next to nothing when you buy it so you don't have to become less if prices continually increase. Let's think about where to save???

Very tasty food and we had the drinks at our table within 20 seconds of ordering. The food was at the table just as quickly. The price is a little higher than in other Asian restaurants, but I have never been served as quickly as the food was at my table. Definitely recommended.
