For just under 24 euros you get crispy, burnt meat. The sauce was too hearty, it didn't taste good, it's better to go a few meters further.

Authentic Asian cuisine; highly recommended

Unfortunately we didn't like it. The food came unusually quickly - almost 5 minutes after ordering - and therefore did not seem freshly prepared. We were also disappointed in the taste and it was only lukewarm. The prices are clearly too high for what is on offer. Unfortunately, we cannot understand the many positive reviews.

The food was very tasty, the service was quick and courteous. The boss was a complete disaster as he shouted at his staff in an absolutely choleric, disrespectful and extremely loud manner in front of all the guests. He didn't get himself under control for several minutes and created a bad atmosphere.

We had a pretty bad experience at this restaurant with our child. No waiter ever came to our table, we had to go get our own menus, and then wait hoping somebody would come to order. We spoke to three different waiters, 4 times, and nobody ever came. 25 mins later we left.

The food is very tasty, but the portions could be larger so that the price/performance ratio is also harmonious.

The taste is okay, the dumplings are delicious. When checking out, I didn't take the initiative to give a receipt. I just asked him to swipe his card and then asked for a receipt. I found a tip of 5 euros written on it, so I asked the Asian waiter what was going on, and the answer was tax. He glared and said the tip was for taxes, then checked Xiaohongshu and asked again, only to admit that the 5 euro tip was added without asking for our opinion. I told the other party that they should give us the receipt when checking out, and then confirm it was correct before swiping the card. As for tipping, we think the food is delicious and the service is good, so it can be given. Moreover, German tipping consumers can choose the percentage on the credit card machine, and cannot be forced to charge it like this. Send it out for everyone’s reference.

We have known Indochine since it opened, but from visit to visit we noticed that the quality of the food and the service had deteriorated significantly. When we visited this week, our food was served within a very short time, which surprised us since the restaurant was fully booked. Looking at the plate gave me the answer: the vegetables and chicken had obviously been prepared for a long time. Accordingly, it tasted dry and bland. I had a dish with a soy sauce. When I asked the waitress that the amount of sauce was very small, she replied that it was already a generous portion, but offered to bring me some more. My son later took over paying the bill because I had left the restaurant early. When I checked the bill on the way home I noticed that the additional sauce was charged at €3.50. What an impudence! I'm not usually one to write Google reviews, but in this case I took the time.

Very friendly staff, the food came quite quickly. The gyoza are so delicious I highly recommend them. For 2 people if you order a drink, starters, main course and dessert it will end up being up to €90. Otherwise it's great

Nice atmosphere and quick preparation. But small portions and a little over-seasoned. AmEx is not accepted. Dogs are allowed. Wheelchair-accessible seating on the ground floor.

A waitress with black glasses is so rude and never expect to see her again. But an Asian girl with light hair is friendly and efficient in ordering and serving food. BTW the beef pho and fresh mint tea is tasty, recommend.

We were there again yesterday for lunch after about 5 months, the food is getting less and less and the prices are getting higher, unfortunately. The food is delicious and the service is good, but actually you go out to eat to fill yourself up, unfortunately you get up and are still hungry, the rice portion has almost halved, sorry rice costs next to nothing when you buy it so you don't have to become less if prices continually increase. Let's think about where to save???

Ordered an Aperol Sprizz with dinner yesterday for €8.90. I received a glass that was only half full and had nothing to do with an Aperol. It was simply an Aperol diluted with water, without any carbonation, i.e. without alcohol. Customer fraud! Food overpriced.

Firstly, I do not forget to thank the young men who were very kind in explaining the available foods and helping me choose the best ones, such as Adel and Samir (I forgot their names, and they are nice Yemeni students from German universities). There is also a menu in Arabic, which is very special (but some items are only available in the English menu). I've heard of Vietnamese restaurants, but after today I will depend on them on my trips. I ordered a green papaya salad with shrimp for 13.9€, a fried spring roll with vegetables for 7.5€, and a vegetable soup with mushrooms and chicken (fancy) for 16.9€.

Really nice atmosphere and chicly styled restaurant. Disproportionately high prices for below average food. It certainly wasn't freshly prepared; it came to the table five minutes before the drinks. The food was nicely decorated, but didn't taste any better than at the Asian snack bar. Clearly too expensive for that. Lots of flies in the restaurant.

Absolute disgrace, I rated the restaurant with one star three months ago and now my review has been reported to Google as defamation. No wonder there are few bad reviews here. But now the reason for my bad rating: At first everything was nice, we were taken to a table and were able to order drinks and food promptly. My girlfriend's drinks and food came in an acceptable time for lunchtime (about 45 minutes). Unfortunately, my food wasn't there and no service came. After my food didn't come for the next 30 minutes and the waitress said it had been forgotten, we paid the overpriced prices and left. The people at the table next to us felt the same way. Two got their food and the third had to watch.

Service was unfriendly, there was hair in the food and the service didn't care. As more have already written here, you are forced to give tips when paying by card. The food had to be paid for even though it wasn't eaten because of the hair.

The food was good, but the prices weren't family-friendly, so we only ate appetizers. We find it outrageous that they charge 5.90 euros for a bottle of carbonated tap water and that there is no alternative to choose from when it comes to mineral water. When paying with the card you were pressured to give a tip. There was no invoice, just the debit card receipt.

At first glance we thought we finally had a good restaurant here in the village. Unfortunately, the food is absolutely disappointing and definitely not worth the money. However, you sit quite nicely and it makes a decent impression - but that's about it.

As soon as we entered the restaurant we smelled peanut sauce. I knew immediately that we were in the right place. The order was placed quickly and it took maybe 15 minutes for dishes to be on the table. What can I say, it was a pleasure for all of us and we will definitely be back.

Unfortunately I can't rate the food because we simply weren't served! We (4 guests) have already waited 10 minutes for service. Someone kept passing by. But we were skillfully ignored. After 10 minutes a waiter came, but he didn't ask if we wanted to order, but rather if he could have my card. After looking speechless but apparently very irritated. He asked me again in a very harsh tone if he could have my card now. He then took my card and walked it to a lady at another table. That's what I call customer service! It's a disgrace to treat guests like that!

The furnishings are good and it's nice to sit. But the food isn't convincing. If you're hungry, okay. The dumplings are no better than, for example. at Aldi.

Ladies and Gentlemen I am writing to you to express my great dissatisfaction with my last visit to your restaurant INDOCHINE in Ingolstadt on May 18, 2024. Unfortunately, we had a number of unpleasant experiences: 1. **Unfriendly Service**: The waiter, (Alim Avci) who served us was extremely unfriendly and treated us disrespectfully. 2. **Foreign bodies in food**: For the second time in a row we found a hair in our food. This is completely unacceptable and shows a lack of care in the preparation of our food. 3. **Payment process and tipping**: When paying with a card, we were pressured to leave a tip even though we didn't want to leave one due to the poor service. In the end we reluctantly gave 2 euros. 4. **Missing bill**: We asked for the bill but were turned away by the waiter saying it was too late. Only after another visit to the counter did we receive the bill. 5. **Double debit of tip**: On the bill we saw that in addition to the 2 euros tip we had already given, another 16 euros had been deducted as a tip. This is unacceptable and goes against the practice in Germany, where tipping is voluntary. These incidents are not only disappointing, but also unprofessional and show a lack of respect for your guests. I hope you will take this matter seriously and take steps to ensure such incidents are avoided in the future. I also read in the reviews that this happened to other guests too.

Unfortunately the place has gone downhill. Prices don't come close to matching the quality. Portions rather lean. Everything seems hectic and now has the charm of a fast food restaurant. We had a starter plate for 2 people (delicious) and the "crispy duck" on pasta with vegetables. Everything was served very quickly (3-5 minutes)...which is generally not a bad thing when shopping. The reason for this may be that it is probably not freshly prepared to order, but that previously prepared dishes are stored in warming pans and then just put together on the plates to form a dish. I can't explain otherwise why the food wasn't at the right temperature and the "crispy duck" for more than 22 euros was soggy on the outside and the meat was dry. Buffet canteen level. The fact that the non-alcoholic wheat was not charged at 5.50 euros instead of 4.50 euros as advertised on the menu didn't make the evening any better.

We had a delicious and inexpensive meal here and were served very friendly (including the dog) - we would be happy to come back.

My visit here was a real pleasure: the food was super tasty, with a great selection of dishes that were both authentic and creatively prepared. The Indochine offers just the right ambience for a relaxing break during a day of shopping. I can highly recommend this restaurant. Very bad experience rating in this restaurant. Food was mid, expensive, and SERVICE WAS TRASH. A waitress named TRAN was in my opinion very rude and lacks respect. We were wanting to eat lunch while taking a break from shopping and found this asian restaurant so we went in and sat down. This waitress gave us the menu and everything was normal. A few minutes later the same waitress (Tran) went to our table and asked if we were ready to order, since we were not ready yet I said that were still looking, this was for me still fine. Although again not long after, maybe two minutes she went to our table again to ask if we were ready to order. I mean like… cmon, isn’t it fine if we need a bit of time to decide on what we want to eat and I will definitely call you anyways when I want to order, another thing is that it was not even crowded. It is like the waitress was rushing us to order which I really did not like. We ordered two dishes… duck with rice and chicken with rice. The same waitress brought our dishes and looked away while putting it down roughly on our table instead of putting it down slowly. What kind of waitress does that! The plate where the chicken with rice was on was not even so it rotates when I move the plate which is very uncomfortable, what kind of restaurant gives out food on uneven plates. Another thing that happened was… there was one menu book left on our table and my friend was arranging the things she bought in a paper bag on top of this menu book, the same waitress wanted to take the menu book and she did say “excuse me” but instead of waiting for my friend to lift up her things first before taking the menu book, she somewhat took it by force without a care in the world about the things still on top of the menu book which in my opinion was very rude. It was a really bad experience eating here. Will never come back.

The restaurant is located in the ingostat shopping center. It specializes in Asian cuisine. It's beautifully decorated, with friendly staff. The food is quite delicious, authentically Asian. We opted for the curry duck and roasted duck. Prices are moderate.

We were there today. The food is perfect, but the staff is zero points. We were served by a waiter with glasses. Everything was still bearable until it was the turn of the bill, when he asked how many tips we wanted to leave and saw that we had not given anything he became cheeky, loud, angry. He asked us twice what was wrong with his serve And we didn't leave a tip just because we saw our waiter when he took the order and came to collect money and I don't think he deserved it some girl brought us food, some young boy visited us once and the same guy brought us drinks, and someone completely third picked up empty plates. If you want a tip, you should earn it. It's a shame that such a beautiful restaurant has such bad and arrogant staff.
