Firstly, I do not forget to thank the young men who were very kind in explaining the available foods and helping me choose the best ones, such as Adel and Samir (I forgot their names, and they are nice Yemeni students from German universities). There is also a menu in Arabic, which is very special (but some items are only available in the English menu). I've heard of Vietnamese restaurants, but after today I will depend on them on my trips. I ordered a green papaya salad with shrimp for 13.9€, a fried spring roll with vegetables for 7.5€, and a vegetable soup with mushrooms and chicken (fancy) for 16.9€.

Really nice atmosphere and chicly styled restaurant. Disproportionately high prices for below average food. It certainly wasn't freshly prepared; it came to the table five minutes before the drinks. The food was nicely decorated, but didn't taste any better than at the Asian snack bar. Clearly too expensive for that. Lots of flies in the restaurant.

Absolute disgrace, I rated the restaurant with one star three months ago and now my review has been reported to Google as defamation. No wonder there are few bad reviews here. But now the reason for my bad rating: At first everything was nice, we were taken to a table and were able to order drinks and food promptly. My girlfriend's drinks and food came in an acceptable time for lunchtime (about 45 minutes). Unfortunately, my food wasn't there and no service came. After my food didn't come for the next 30 minutes and the waitress said it had been forgotten, we paid the overpriced prices and left. The people at the table next to us felt the same way. Two got their food and the third had to watch.

Service was unfriendly, there was hair in the food and the service didn't care. As more have already written here, you are forced to give tips when paying by card. The food had to be paid for even though it wasn't eaten because of the hair.

The food was good, but the prices weren't family-friendly, so we only ate appetizers. We find it outrageous that they charge 5.90 euros for a bottle of carbonated tap water and that there is no alternative to choose from when it comes to mineral water. When paying with the card you were pressured to give a tip. There was no invoice, just the debit card receipt.

At first glance we thought we finally had a good restaurant here in the village. Unfortunately, the food is absolutely disappointing and definitely not worth the money. However, you sit quite nicely and it makes a decent impression - but that's about it.

As soon as we entered the restaurant we smelled peanut sauce. I knew immediately that we were in the right place. The order was placed quickly and it took maybe 15 minutes for dishes to be on the table. What can I say, it was a pleasure for all of us and we will definitely be back.

Unfortunately I can't rate the food because we simply weren't served! We (4 guests) have already waited 10 minutes for service. Someone kept passing by. But we were skillfully ignored. After 10 minutes a waiter came, but he didn't ask if we wanted to order, but rather if he could have my card. After looking speechless but apparently very irritated. He asked me again in a very harsh tone if he could have my card now. He then took my card and walked it to a lady at another table. That's what I call customer service! It's a disgrace to treat guests like that!

The furnishings are good and it's nice to sit. But the food isn't convincing. If you're hungry, okay. The dumplings are no better than, for example. at Aldi.

Ladies and Gentlemen I am writing to you to express my great dissatisfaction with my last visit to your restaurant INDOCHINE in Ingolstadt on May 18, 2024. Unfortunately, we had a number of unpleasant experiences: 1. **Unfriendly Service**: The waiter, (Alim Avci) who served us was extremely unfriendly and treated us disrespectfully. 2. **Foreign bodies in food**: For the second time in a row we found a hair in our food. This is completely unacceptable and shows a lack of care in the preparation of our food. 3. **Payment process and tipping**: When paying with a card, we were pressured to leave a tip even though we didn't want to leave one due to the poor service. In the end we reluctantly gave 2 euros. 4. **Missing bill**: We asked for the bill but were turned away by the waiter saying it was too late. Only after another visit to the counter did we receive the bill. 5. **Double debit of tip**: On the bill we saw that in addition to the 2 euros tip we had already given, another 16 euros had been deducted as a tip. This is unacceptable and goes against the practice in Germany, where tipping is voluntary. These incidents are not only disappointing, but also unprofessional and show a lack of respect for your guests. I hope you will take this matter seriously and take steps to ensure such incidents are avoided in the future. I also read in the reviews that this happened to other guests too.

Unfortunately the place has gone downhill. Prices don't come close to matching the quality. Portions rather lean. Everything seems hectic and now has the charm of a fast food restaurant. We had a starter plate for 2 people (delicious) and the "crispy duck" on pasta with vegetables. Everything was served very quickly (3-5 minutes)...which is generally not a bad thing when shopping. The reason for this may be that it is probably not freshly prepared to order, but that previously prepared dishes are stored in warming pans and then just put together on the plates to form a dish. I can't explain otherwise why the food wasn't at the right temperature and the "crispy duck" for more than 22 euros was soggy on the outside and the meat was dry. Buffet canteen level. The fact that the non-alcoholic wheat was not charged at 5.50 euros instead of 4.50 euros as advertised on the menu didn't make the evening any better.

We had a delicious and inexpensive meal here and were served very friendly (including the dog) - we would be happy to come back.

If you are looking for a tasty and quick meal in the shopping hustle and bustle of Ingolstadt Village, Indochine is definitely the right choice. My visit here was a real pleasure: the food was super tasty, with a great selection of dishes that were both authentic and creatively prepared. The fast and efficient service was particularly impressive. The staff was very attentive and ensured our orders were served quickly and with a smile. The Indochine offers just the right ambience for a relaxing break during a day of shopping. I can highly recommend this restaurant. It is not only a place to satisfy your hunger, but also to relax and recharge in a pleasant atmosphere.

Very bad experience rating in this restaurant. Food was mid, expensive, and SERVICE WAS TRASH. A waitress named TRAN was in my opinion very rude and lacks respect. We were wanting to eat lunch while taking a break from shopping and found this asian restaurant so we went in and sat down. This waitress gave us the menu and everything was normal. A few minutes later the same waitress (Tran) went to our table and asked if we were ready to order, since we were not ready yet I said that were still looking, this was for me still fine. Although again not long after, maybe two minutes she went to our table again to ask if we were ready to order. I mean like… cmon, isn’t it fine if we need a bit of time to decide on what we want to eat and I will definitely call you anyways when I want to order, another thing is that it was not even crowded. It is like the waitress was rushing us to order which I really did not like. We ordered two dishes… duck with rice and chicken with rice. The same waitress brought our dishes and looked away while putting it down roughly on our table instead of putting it down slowly. What kind of waitress does that! The plate where the chicken with rice was on was not even so it rotates when I move the plate which is very uncomfortable, what kind of restaurant gives out food on uneven plates. Another thing that happened was… there was one menu book left on our table and my friend was arranging the things she bought in a paper bag on top of this menu book, the same waitress wanted to take the menu book and she did say “excuse me” but instead of waiting for my friend to lift up her things first before taking the menu book, she somewhat took it by force without a care in the world about the things still on top of the menu book which in my opinion was very rude. It was a really bad experience eating here. Will never come back.

The restaurant is located in the ingostat shopping center. It specializes in Asian cuisine. It's beautifully decorated, with friendly staff. The food is quite delicious, authentically Asian. We opted for the curry duck and roasted duck. Prices are moderate.

We were there today. The food is perfect, but the staff is zero points. We were served by a waiter with glasses. Everything was still bearable until it was the turn of the bill, when he asked how many tips we wanted to leave and saw that we had not given anything he became cheeky, loud, angry. He asked us twice what was wrong with his serve And we didn't leave a tip just because we saw our waiter when he took the order and came to collect money and I don't think he deserved it some girl brought us food, some young boy visited us once and the same guy brought us drinks, and someone completely third picked up empty plates. If you want a tip, you should earn it. It's a shame that such a beautiful restaurant has such bad and arrogant staff.

Leider war der Besuch doch eher enttäuschend. Auch wenn die Speisekarte sehr einladend wirkte war das Essen wenig schmackhaft. Dazu war das Lokal auch noch im Verhältnis zur Qualität deutlich überteuert. Das einzig positive war der freundliche Service und das angenehme Ambiente.

Dinner on a Saturday at 7 p.m.: At the same time as our dishes were served, a restaurant employee began to thoroughly clean the upper area of ​​the restaurant, which was just a few steps from our table and visible through the open railing. For a full quarter of an hour we moved chairs, picked up residue from the floor with our bare hands and vacuumed the entire upper floor with a vacuum cleaner, all while the catering industry was busy! The employee apparently did not belong to a cleaning company, but rather this employee was wearing identical clothing to that worn by all service staff. It is not clear whether this employee also works or previously worked in the kitchen or in service. This certainly does not correspond in any way to the otherwise strict hygiene guidelines in the catering industry. We also found disrespectful the constant use of first-name names by the lady in the know, who consistently used first-name names to the obviously older guests at the neighboring table and, to make matters worse, even spilled a drink over the lady's clothes when she was being served. The waitress we called wanted to pass on our complaint to those responsible a few steps down on the ground floor. During the meal, despite our request to stop the cleaning, cleaning and vacuuming continued. We then rushed the meal and asked for the bill. Unfortunately, because of these annoyances, we only told the waitress after we had paid by card that we had a bonus code of 20 percent for the meal and asked that this bonus be applied later. To do this, the first card payment would have had to be reversed. The waitress refused this, saying that no chargebacks were possible!? We then asked to speak to the managing director. The waitress said that she also had full authority and refused to involve the manager or represent him. When I pointed out that I would share my experiences on the relevant restaurant rating portals, the waitress disappeared without comment, but rather quickly. A short time later the waitress appeared at the table again and - let's call it sporty - put the difference in small coins amounting to 20 percent on the table. As we were about to leave, an employee of the restaurant appeared at our table, who did not introduce himself by name or function. When I asked him whether he was the managing director or held a responsible position, he replied in the negative. He apologized for the nuisance caused on the grounds that the upper part of the restaurant would always be cleaned by a member of staff at this time and therefore one hour before the end of the daily opening time and regardless of the other dining guests. Furthermore, this employee said, "If this employee didn't do it, we wouldn't have anyone else to do the cleaning"! What a statement! From an economic point of view, this was certainly a smart move for the restaurant to save costs, but it was catastrophic for customer loyalty and the reputation of the establishment! Quite apart from the legal hygiene guidelines in catering establishments. The evening with the dinner, which wasn't exactly cheap anyway, was completely ruined. Since we don't want to eat our (expensive) food again while the restaurant is being cleaned and we don't know which cleaning employees are also working in the hygiene-sensitive areas of the kitchen at the same time, we will no longer visit this restaurant. The relevant authorities should take a closer look at this.

Das Restaurant "Indochine"  im Outlet Ingolstadt zeichnet sich durch eine respektable Küche aus. Wir haben dieses Restaurant schon öfters für das Mittagessen aufgesucht, zumal es auch weit und breit das einzige Restaurant ist, wo man in dieser Gegend ordentlich essen kann. An einem Samstagnachmittag wollten wir diesmal zu 19 Uhr telefonisch einen Tisch bestellen, was mit dem Hinweis abgelehnt wurde, dass samstags grundsätzlich keine Reservierungen angenommen würden.   Wir erschienen also zu 18:45 Uhr in dem Restaurant auf zwei Etagen auf dem Gelände des Outlets in Ingolstadt, welches immer um 20 Uhr gleichzeitig mit den Geschäften im Outlet schließt.   Die obere Etage war, so wie bereits am Vortag auch, für die Gäste gesperrt.  Da das Restaurant gut besucht war, wurden wir auf halber Treppe zum Obergeschoss in einer Art Nische mit zwei Tischen platziert. Egal, Hauptsache noch ein Plätzchen für zwei Personen, dachten wir uns. Als erste Überraschung kippte die Kellnerin der Dame am Nachbartisch beim Servieren ein Getränk über den Tisch und die gesamte Kleidung der Dame, mit anschließenden  wortreichen Entschuldigungen  und Versuchen der Schadenbegrenzung. Ärgerlich, aber das kann ja immer mal passieren, dachten wir uns noch.     Völlig unangemessen und respektlos fanden wir aber da schon, dass die Kellnerin uns und auch die deutlich älteren Gäste des Nachbartisches immerzu duzte. Bei Ikea ist das vielleicht noch lustig und für ein schwedische Möbelhaus akzeptabel, in einem Restaurant mit einem gewissen Anspruch  allerdings völlig deplatziert.    Völlig inakzeptabel war aber auch, dass zeitgleich mit dem Servieren unserer Gerichte ein Mitarbeiter des Restaurants damit  begann den oberen Bereich des Restaurants, welcher sich nur einige Schritte von unserem Tisch befand und durch das offene Geländer einsehbar war, gründlich zu reinigen. Über eine volle Viertelstunde wurden Stühle gerückt, Rückstände vom Boden mit der bloßen Hand aufgehoben und mit einem Staubsauger die ganze obere Etage gesaugt und das Ganze beim vollen Gastronomiebetrieb!  Der Mitarbeiter gehörte augenscheinlich nicht zu einer Reinigungsfirma, sondern dieser Mitarbeiter trug die identische Kleidung wie sie das gesamte Servicepersonal trägt. Ob dieser Mitarbeiter  ansonsten auch  in der Küche oder im Service tätig ist oder vorher war, ist nicht klar. Das entspricht sicherlich in keiner Weise den ansonsten strengen Hygienerichtlinien in der Gastronomie.   Die von uns hinzugerufene Kellnerin, wollte unsere Beschwerde an die Verantwortlichen ein paar Stufen weiter unten im Erdgeschoss weitergeben. Während des Essens wurde ungeachtet unserer Bitte die Reinigung einzustellen weiter gereinigt und gesaugt. Wir haben das Essen dann beschleunigt und die Rechnung verlangt. Dummerweise haben wir wegen dieser Ärgernisse allerdings erst nach der Kartenzahlung der Kellnerin mitgeteilt, dass wir einen Bonuscode von 20 Prozent für das Essen hatten und baten diesen Bonus noch nachträglich zu verrechnen. Dafür hätte einen Rückbuchung der ersten Kartenzahlung erfolgen müssen. das lehnte die Kellnerin mit dem Hinweis ab, das keine Rückbuchungen möglich wären!? Daraufhin baten wir den Geschäftsführer zu sprechen. Die Kellnerin meinte, dass sie auch die volle Autorität hätte und verweigerte die Hinzuziehung des Geschäftsführers oder dessen Vertretung. Auf meinen Hinweis, dass ich meine Erfahrungen auf den einschlägigen Restaurant-Bewertungsportalen kundtun werde, verschwand die Kellnerin kommentarlos, dafür aber recht zügig. Kurze Zeit später erschien die Kellnerin wieder am Tisch und legte -nennen wir es besser mal sportlich - den Differenzbetrag in kleinen Münzen  in Höhe der 20 Prozent auf den Tisch fallen.   Als wir schon im Begriff waren zu gehen, erschien dann doch noch ein  Mitarbeiter des Restaurants an unserem Tisch, welcher sich weder mit Namen noch mit seiner Funktion  vorstellte. Meine Frage, ob er der Geschäftsführer oder in verantwortlicher Position tätig wäre,  verneinte er. Er entschuldigte sich, für die entstandene Belästigung mit der Begründung, dass der obere Teil des Restaurants immer durch einen Mitarbeiter zu dieser Zeit und somit eine Stunde vor dem Ende der täglichen Öffnungszeit und ungeachtet der anderen speisenden Gäste gereinigt werden würde. Des Weiteren meinte dieser Mitarbeiter, "wenn es denn dieser Mitarbeiter nicht tun würde, hätte man sonst keinen der die Reinigung durchführen würde"!  Was für eine Aussage! Für das Restaurant aus wirtschaftlicher Sicht sicherlich ein geschickter Schritt um Kosten zu sparen, aber für die Kundenbindung und für den Ruf des Hauses katastrophal! Ganz abgesehen von den gesetzlichen Hygienerichtlinien in gastronomischen Einrichtungen.   Der Abend mit dem  ohnehin nicht gerade preisgünstigen Abendessen war somit vollends verdorben.   Da wir nicht wieder unser (teures) Essen während Restaurantreinigung einnehmen wollen und wir auch nicht wissen, welche  reinigenden Mitarbeiter auch zeitgleich noch in den hygienesensiblen Bereichen der Küche tätig sind, werden wir dieses Restaurant nicht mehr aufsuchen. Die entsprechenden Ämter sollten sich das genauer ansehen.

Basically a nice atmosphere and nice restaurant. Because the food wasn't anything special (both in terms of taste and portion size) and there were lipstick stains on my glass, I unfortunately can't recommend the restaurant. The nice waitress immediately replaced the glass and apologized. However, it pretty much spoiled my appetite. I think hygiene is the most important thing! Because the staff was so nice, I gave it two stars. I definitely wouldn't eat there again. In addition, the two of us spent €65, which basically wouldn't be a problem if everything else had been right.

A top Vietnamese restaurant in Ingolstadt Village Shop and then of course eat well. I took the starter plate with soup, it was super tasty, very clean restaurant, very friendly staff and a special flair that really impressed me. Food ranged from sufficient to very good. Staff friendly. Price a bit too high for partly sufficient quality. What doesn't work is that the staff mentions the tip, but doesn't inform the guest about the 20% discount for membership!!! Unfortunately, this left a negative impression.

Went there twice during a business trip. My waitress was really lovely the first time, the food was super quick (which is good when you need to go back to work or shopping asap) and everything I had was very tasty. Ich bestellte eine Flasche stille Wasser, bekam aber dafür eine Karaffe Leitung wasser das angeblich gefiltert ist und dafür habe ich 5,90€ bezahlt !!!!😡😡😡und essen war auch noch kalt und nicht gut !!!

Ich war im „Ingolstadt Village“, um etwas zu erledigen. Da ich hungrig war, sah ich das „IndoChine“. Eine freundliche Bedienung gab mir einen Tisch. Ich bestellte als Vorspeise „vegetarische Frühlingsrollen“ und als Hauptspeise „Garnelen mit Gemüse und Reise“. Da ich die „Edamame“ (Grüne Bohnen) übersah, bestellte ich diese ebenfalls. Alle Gerichte waren ausgezeichnet zubereitet. Das Gemüse frisch. Für so ein Outletcenter ein ungewöhnlich gutes vietnamesisches Restaurant. Dieses Restaurant könnte genauso in München oder Hamburg sein. Ich werde nächstes mal sicherlich auch dort hingehen.

Ich bin völlig begeistert. Das hätte ich hier im Village nicht erwartet! Essen war extrem schnell fertig, aber dennoch frisch und unglaublich lecker. Bedienung auch sehr freundlich. Das Lokal sieht auch mehr als ansprechend aus. Richtig gut! Das war definitiv nicht das letzte Mal! 👍🏻

Ein riesen Lob an das ganze Team und im speziellen an Sevda! Vielen Dank für diesen schönen Abend. So einen aufmerksamen Service erlebt man nur "once a year"! Das schöne Ambiente und das hervorragende Essen haben für uns den Abend perfekt werden lassen. Das alles würde man in Kitzbühel erwarten, aber sicher nicht in einem Shopping Village in der Nähe von Ingolstadt. Merci ❤️ (2 Kinder & 2 Erw.)

Hier gibt es leckere Gerichte und man sitzt auch sehr schön. Getränke und Essen wurden super schnell gebracht (das Restaurant war nur ca. zur Hälfte gefüllt).

Der Service war hervorragend, Personal höflich , freundlich und korrekt. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet.

Being an Asian American who grew up in California and also traveled to Vietnam, the food here is mediocre at best as well as pretty pricey for the portion and what they offer. I also think they probably just warm up the food after keeping it frozen because the plates come out way too quick to believe it’s cooked prior to ordering. It’s a mall trap considering it’s at the outlet. Probably better off honestly eating somewhere outside the outlet area before coming to shop. But I do have to give a big compliment to the waiters who were so kind and patient with us.

Uncle Roger would rate the veggies overcooked and soggy. Although it’s usually very full the food comes fast and the service is on top of things. The flavors are definitely westernized.

Überraschend lecker weil ich nicht erwarte, dass Restaurants in Outlet oder Einkaufszentrum hochwertige Essen bieten können(Meisten sind Betrug) Der Preis ist ein bisschen zu hoch aber verständlich in einem Outlet

Wir gehen nach dem Shopping immer direkt hier zum Essen. Wunderschönes Ambiente, sehr schneller und immer freundlicher Service, exzellente authentische Gerichte, alles auch als Take away. Wir freuen uns immer auf unseren nächsten Besuch ;)

Lijep ugodan restoran, hrana je bila ukusna, brzo posluzena, lijepo servirana... bestek na stolu besprijekorno čist. Toaleti prostrani, čisti... Vidimo se opet!

Good to know there were small shacks outside for quick dine and go experience. As the inner huge restaurant was super full and we did not want to stay for long time We ordered some noodles and spring rolls with gluhwine Nothing crazy out here but the noodles were spot on in the chilled weather with gluhwine Would really recommend this on while visiting the Ingolstadt village for shopping Good price and good quantity compared to other restaurants or shacks in the village

Nothing special, you get what you expect eating at an outlet center. You basically pay 30-40% premium price for food that is nothing special. I mean 4x dumpling 8€ is insane, its not even home made, frozen standart dumplings. All in all very basic vietman cusine with an fancy atmosphere.

The place is good and the service staff is amazing. We were 2 families with 2 toddlers and it was snowing outside. The staff asked us to come inside and wait before they arrange the seating for the people ahead of us. Once the seating was available and we were adjusted, we ordered food and it was delicious!

Dieses Lokal hat einen der schnellsten Services die ich kenne. Das Essen ist in Ordnung, aber mehr auch nicht. Es fehlte mir so das gewisse Etwas. Ich hätte mir eine etwas größere Portion vorstellen können. Da es direkt im Ingolstadt Village liegt, sind die Preise dementsprechend ziemlich sportlich.

I've never seen this Tom Yung Gung.. even without rice. It's just soup with couple of prawns and lots of mushrooms🤣 I had to order rice and my friend too. I like atmosphere and workers are kind but don't order this menu at least.
