Unfortunately, this was the worst butter chicken we've ever eaten. It was as runny as tomato soup and practically tasteless. I'm sorry. ☹️

We were at Ganesha on November 15th, 2025, and were very satisfied. The dishes were perfectly priced and tasted amazing. My favorite drink, the mango lassi, was delicious. We'll definitely be going back. Highly recommended.

Naan was very good, the chicken korma had tender pieces of chicken, but was unfortunately very watery :( It used to be better.

I ordered the Chicken Karahi dish. The chicken was juicy and perfectly combined with onions, bell peppers, ginger, garlic, and tomatoes in an aromatic spice blend. The flavor was intense, well-balanced, and pleasantly spicy. It was served with basmati rice, which rounded it all off nicely. I particularly wanted to highlight the cheese naan, which was served fresh and soft and a real highlight. For my drink, I had a coconut lassi, which was refreshing and balanced with a sweetness, a perfect match for the spicy main course. Overall, a very good experience.

So let's start from the beginning, based on my experience: The driver sped through the traffic-calmed zone at about 50 km/h. He wasn't particularly friendly either; he didn't even say thank you when I received the tip (20%) and didn't even look me in the face. You can do it that way, but you don't have to. The food was... okay. The naan bread was unsalted and therefore tasted of nothing. The chicken in the butter chicken had a lot of black spots (it was probably a bit burnt). All in all, though, it was edible and tasted pretty good overall, but I wouldn't spend any more money on the whole package. You have to know.

I went to Ganesha with my family on Tuesday, and it was fantastic. The food and service were simply superb. We'd love to come back.

We ate here yesterday for the third time in three weeks, and we'll be back. Great food – both the starters and main courses – friendly service, and no long waits. The tandoori dishes, in particular, are highly recommended. The meat is very tender and the sauces are flavorful. The naan is also beautifully fresh and better than in most other Indian restaurants.

Nestes Restaurant, we found the food really delicious. The portion sizes were just right.

I had the butter chicken – and it was simply the best I've ever eaten! Incredibly tender meat, perfectly seasoned, and the sauce was to die for. You can immediately tell that the food is cooked with real passion. The service was super friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. An all-around fantastic experience – I'll definitely be back! 5 stars isn't really enough.

Very good food, friendly service. After the move, the ambience is no longer as nice, but still tasteful. Before the move, parking spaces were directly in front of the house, but now you have to use public parking spaces/underground parking. Always happy again.

I ordered two takeaway meals, but they only gave me one. A juice I didn't even order was included in the bill. I didn't tip for anything, which is a shame, as I thought the food would have been completely wrapped. It's a shame, actually; I expected more.

Very good and large selection of Indian dishes. There is something for everyone, be it meat or vegetarian or vegan. Each dish can even be prepared vegan. The portions are very large and taste good. The service was excellent.

I am always satisfied and happy every time I have a delivery. Fast, hot, delicious! Just a big, big thank you. We are fortunate to be able to call people from India our friends. We were already thoroughly treated to their cooking skills and then rolled into the car. And when it comes to Ganesha, you're very close. It tastes really good and makes you happy! Please keep it up! Where. I still miss dosa on the menu. But that's complaining at a high level. 🥳

While exploring the city on weekend, I was feeling so hungry, and I came across Ganesha. I would say it is highly recommended. Because the food was very Tasty and the service from the staff is impressive. I would see if you’re planning to have a dinner with your family or friends. This is the best place to visit.

The food was, as always, very good, but no better or worse than other Indian restaurants. My only thought is always how to prepare the very large number of dishes freshly 🤔. When it came to the fish salmon fillet tandoori, it was doubted several times that the very light white meat was really salmon. But it couldn't be clarified with the waiter because of language problems. But the taste was very good. Even with the “old” Ganesha, the carpet was a hygienic problem. Yesterday too there were leftover food on the floor. A piece of meat that fell off the waiter (it can happen) was simply left there (despite a notice) and was even stepped on. It just didn't look inviting.

We loved this place because it wasn’t just the typical dishes you usually find also the Ambience.We ended up ordering almost the whole Menu. The food was so delicious and we enjoyed it so much, we felt it was worth it. Would recommend it 1000% .

This Indian restaurant exceeded my expectations. The hospitality was top-notch, and the food was truly authentic. I was delighted to receive a free bowl of rice as a gesture of their generosity. I would definitely eat from here again.

At first we were surprised that the Ganesha had moved. New address: Allee 57. Unfortunately that doesn't do the ambience any good, the old restaurant was nicer. And the parking situation has also become much worse as a result. But the most important thing is that the food is still delicious and the service is friendly and accommodating as usual.

The food was pretty tasty, but I think other Indians will have a similar taste. Personally, the portions seemed a bit small to me, there was a lot of rice but very little meat and it doesn't help that I found it quite expensive. 17 euros for a main course and if you want to finish the sauce properly, you ideally have to order bread again, which also costs another 4 euros. If you want a starter, you pay 5-7 euros for really little food. The drink costs another 4-5 euros and if you add everything up depending on your preference, you end up with a really (too) high amount in my opinion. As expected, parking is difficult and the ambience isn't great either. If you want to eat Indian food, you can come here without hesitation, but you should probably not become a regular.

So far my experiences with Indian food have been underwhelming, but here the food is right up my alley.

The food and drinks are excellent. The service is very fast, friendly and informative. The outdoor seating is spacious and comfortable. Only the busy main road is a bit annoying. Therefore a star deduction for the ambience.

After a couple of weeks of travelling through Europe, we were craving some Indian Food (especially after a week of eating Pizza and Pasta in Italy). Ganesha was exactly what we were looking for! We let them know we were travelling from Canada and get some very authentic Indian food. They provided some recommendations after asking what we liked. Food was exceptional! We were there on a Tuesday night, place was busy, had a great atmosphere and service was beyond exceptional. Highly recommend if your in the area. To the staff - Thank you for the hospitality!

Ganesha WAS my absolute favorite restaurant BEFORE the move :-( Unfortunately I have to deduct two stars because the new ambience is no longer as nice as it used to be. They made an effort with the furnishings, but in my opinion the rooms are completely unsuitable At such prices you expect a certain ambience!

I happened to walk past the restaurant 🛖 and felt like Indian. 🇮🇳 Since the service was very polite, I decided to eat there and it was a very good decision as the food tasted phenomenally delicious. Have ordered. It was said it would come in a maximum of 1 hour. After 1 1/2 hours I called the restaurant. The employee was very unfriendly and didn't know a single sentence of German. In the end it just pushed me away. That doesn't work at all. Food was good (7/10). Would have liked to give 4 stars; but unfortunately not justified with such service!

The restaurant itself was cozy What shocked me was the Indian side salad for 6.50 (see photo), and in my opinion the food could have used a little more heat and spice, everything tasted a bit bland. However, the crayfish soup was great and the green sauce/dip (but no one could tell us what was in it)

Wir sind Stammkunden bei Ganesha und dieses Mal sehr,sehr,sehr enttäuscht ,wir waren in der Sülmerstraße und saßen über 1 Stunde ohne Getränke ohne Essen,mein Mann hat den Kellner gesagt ,da wir ihn kennen wenn du in 10 Minuten nicht kommst ,dann tut es uns leid ,dann gehen wir . Der Kellner ist alleine und total überfordert der arme Mann ,wir haben beim Verlassen des Restaurants als entschuldigung ein kleines Geschenk bekommen. Dankeschön. Wir kommen natürlich wieder,aber nächstes Mal bitte mehr Kellner einer ist zu wenig müssen mindestens zwei Kellner sein .

Eine so warme typisch indische angenehme Atmosphäre würde man in diesem Einkaufskomplex mit großem Parkplatz im Industriegebiet nicht vermuten. Das Essen kam zügig und hat uns geschmeckt. Einzig die Vorspeisenplatte für 2 war uns doch etwas zu dunkel frittiert und daher sehr kross, eine geschmackliche Unterscheidung war ebenfalls nicht gegeben, jedoch die dargereichten Dipps dazu waren sehr aromatisch. Das Mangolassi war auch lecker.

The following report is a personal representation of my own experiences and makes no claim to general validity: We have been regular guests for years because of the very good food. Whether lunch or dinner, the cuisine was excellent. Even on trips abroad we were able to see for ourselves that this restaurant operates at a very high level. Due to the personnel changes we noticed, which obviously also affected the kitchen staff, we realized in the last few months that the excellent level was no longer present. In terms of taste, the dishes we often prefer have changed. We regret this very much because we knew it differently. When we asked, we were told that there had been a change in staff, which must have also affected the kitchen. Staff who go do so with heart and hand. The pricing policy can be argued, but the vegan and vegetarian price increases are not really convincingly justified. It's a shame and thank you for the past great years.

The food is super delicious. The service was friendly and the ambience was typical of an Indian restaurant. The waiting time for the food was short. I can recommend the restaurant, especially the chili chicken! The price-performance ratio is good and the portions are quite generous. Leftovers can be packed up.

Well, quite okay. Ambience is harmonious. Staff is quick and quite okay friendly. Professional but not very warm either. Food is well presented, but tastes a bit lame. The vegetarian food was quite tasty. The chicken on the pan was a little burnt and the barbecue sauce was just salty. For Indian cuisine, it was shockingly boring. We are not dissatisfied, but we will not come back. This can be done better!
