Indien Dish in Freyung

We've been to the restaurant several times now and have always been treated very kindly. The quality and taste of the food are outstanding, even compared to other Indian restaurants in big cities, which we visit whenever possible. Unreservedly recommended!

Two of us stopped by Indian Dish today while passing through and were very pleased. The first course (papadum with three sauces) was delicious. We had the 24 and the 96, both on the lower end for us city dwellers and very delicious in terms of taste. Indian cuisine thrives on spices and proper preparation, and that's what you get here. We were also well looked after and asked if we needed any more rice, making us feel completely at home. Thank you so much for that! Conclusion: This Indian restaurant is worth a visit.

The food tastes wonderful, and we were also very satisfied with the service. The lady is very friendly. During your stay, you feel an Indian atmosphere with good national music.

My meal was very tasty and, upon request, prepared less spicy. Highly recommended. The price was also very reasonable.

We only had take out. The portions are really small.

The food was good but relatively expensive. The delivery time was 30-60 minutes, but the food didn't arrive for about 75 minutes. Then the driver dropped the food during delivery. Luckily, it wasn't a big deal, and we were still able to eat it. We were offered a new delivery, but with three hungry children who were already in a bad mood after the overdue delivery time, we declined.

The restaurant offers a pleasant ambiance and plenty of space for several guests. While it's not particularly elaborately decorated, you still know where you're eating. It was our first time eating Indian food. So I asked for a recommendation. This was very well received. They didn't just suggest anything randomly; they really paid attention to my preferences. The spice level was particularly important. Since I haven't eaten anything spicy in a long time, they even adjusted the spice level of my dish accordingly. The food arrived very quickly. Although there was only one other table with six people present, shortly after they received their food, ours was on the table. There was a small appetizer beforehand. Thanks to the appetizer, we didn't have to wait 10 minutes for our food. And the food was truly magnificent. I'm also very grateful that they specifically addressed the spiciness. It started out mild, but gradually became more spicy, but it remained within pleasant limits. In the end, I was really glad I didn't get the dish as it was on the menu 😅 A gradual increase would probably be appropriate. Which suggests that we'd like to eat there more often. The prices were absolutely reasonable. Finally, I'd like to highlight the service. People often checked on us (from the counter) to see if everything was okay. But that wasn't enough. We were also asked at the table if everything was okay and/or if we wanted anything else. Even after ordering and before eating. It just felt like a comfortable place. At the end, we started chatting about what we thought. And then how we like it here in Freyung (we've just moved here). All in all, absolutely recommended. We're already looking forward to our next visit. Hopefully with photos. I always forget to take a photo of the food first. ``` So one star for me in my rating and "influencer" skills 😂

We ordered two different main courses and two different types of bread (naan), and the food tasted very bland. There was a hair in our bread, so we called and asked for a refund. The lady on the phone was very nice and understanding, but the driver was very rude and only refunded the money after a long discussion. Never again!

Food when you order it is super hot, which I think is very good. The food tastes delicious, the rice is great. I've ordered and eaten here several times and would do it again, especially the lunch specials. Top 👍🏼 My favorite: Chicken Masala.

I came with 7 friends and the very nice waitress put two tables together for us. The lassi are homemade and very tasty, the greeting from the kitchen is unexpected and also very good. We were more than impressed with the taste of all the dishes we chose, and the portions were large. The mango cream is very good. The restaurant is a bit out of the way, if it were on the main square they would be crowded with guests. Highly recommended!

Wir kommen regelmäßig und sehr gerne hierher, das Essen hat uns noch nie enttäuscht und war bisher immer super lecker. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, gibt gerne auch Empfehlungen und Hinweise. Vorab gibt es immer einen kleinen Gruß aus der Küche und im Nachgang einen Likör.

Ruhige Lage mit Garten. Gutes Essen zum kleinen Preis. Aufmerksame Bedienung. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Ein gutes indisches Restaurant mit formidablem Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Definitiv ein Familienbetrieb, bei dem eine sehr junge Dame auf ganz reizende Art und Weise den Service übernimmt. Was Schärfe und generelle Würze der Gerichte angeht, würde ich zu etwas mehr Mut zur Authentizität und weniger Rücksicht auf den durchschnittlichen niederbajuwarischen Gaumen raten. Allerdings verstehe ich, dass das ein Risiko birgt, das man vielleicht nicht unbedingt eingehen muss und möchte. Dementsprechend verständlich, dass gekocht wird, wie gekocht wird und definitiv trotzdem immer wieder einen Besuch wert.

Netter Service, gute Beratung und sehr leckeres Essen

Wir waren vom Essen ein bisschen enttäuscht, wir essen regelmäßig indisch und lieben mango Chicken. Der Reis war nicht so wie wir ihn gewohnt sind, auch die Soße kam uns etwas wässrig vor und war irgendwie nicht rund und relativ neutral. Leider war überall Kreuzkümmel drin, was ich so nicht kenne und ich bin kein Fan von Kreuzkümmel. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und es tut mir auch leid dass ich so enttäuscht bin denn die Betreiber sind herzlich und freundlich, ich muss leider sagen dass ich dort nichts mehr essen werde. Sehr schade, zu unserem Lieblinginder sind es 70 km nach Deggendorf. Die drei Sterne sind tatsächlich nur für die Freundlichkeit, für das Essen ansich kann ich nur 1 Stern geben, denn mein Hunger war gestillt aber Genuss ist anders. Leider

Essen war sehr lecker und ausreichend. Wir mussten auch nicht lange auf unser Essen warten, weder auf Vorspeise noch auf Hauptspeise. Bedienung war auch sehr freundlich.

Das Personal was sehr freundlich und erklärte uns alles was wir wissen wollten. Auch wünsche wie nicht ganz so scharf war kein Problem. Das Essen selbst war reichlich uns super lecker. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

We had ordered when picking up we had to wait a good 40min... we were told that "the rice is only warmed up" - and when asked again I was told there would have been too many orders in the empty restaurant.... - a drink was not offered to me instead I should wait outside in the cold... Customer friendly behavior is clearly different. The food was good but the Badhura is far from traditional. Conclusion: price-performance is much better!

Zwei mal dort gegessen ( im Urlaub), war sehr lecker 😋

Wir haben während unseres Urlaubes zwei Mal dort gegessen, einmal haben wir etwas abgeholt. Es ist ein kleines Familienrestaurant mir richtig viel Charme. Alles, was wir probiert haben, war fantastisch. Als Halbinderin bin ich sehr wählerisch. Egal ob das Butter Chicken, das Chicken Tikka, Jalfrezi oder das Lamm...alles war genau richtig gewürzt, die Brote (Naan, Chapati und Bhatura) waren toll...ein Highlight war ebenfalls die Mangocreme, also egal, wie voll ihr seid, ihr müsst die Mangocreme versuchen. Die Cocktails sind ebenfalls sehr gut. Definitiv einer der besten Inder, den ich in Deutschland probiert habe.

I had the opportunity to visit this place few days ago. The food was really amazing and tasty. The friendly service made my experience much better. Highly recommend for those people who love Indian food or wants to try it.
