Indian Flavours Restaurant in Frankfurt am Main

We ordered food. The restaurant is 1.4 km away, and it took 1.5 hours for the food to arrive. And it wasn't even the weekend. Now, let's talk about the food ⤵️ The chicken had a strange texture at times, and we unfortunately had to spit it out. It also had a weird aftertaste. Therefore, we will NEVER order from there again, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. How can they charge almost €18 for rice, chicken, and a few spices? Plus, after that long wait, the food was only lukewarm. 👎🏽

Had been recently to this place which was relatively empty. Added to this was very rude behavior from the waiter there who was not ready to listen to our order, and was arguing and ultimately asked us to leave the restaurant if we want which we did. Very shocking and not in line with the hospitality expected

We went for dinner at this restaurant on 1st Oct. However, we faced humiliation from the waiter who was very arrogant, rude and made racist comments on us (desi). The sad part was that the owner was sitting right there and didn’t even intervene to resolve our issues. Instead we have ended up going to Namaste India which is just 5 mins away and served us excellent food with very good service. It is no wonder that Namaste India was full however the Indian Flavours restaurant was empty. Please avoid going to this restaurant.

Very poor hospitality with the waiter misbehaving with us and even asking us to leave when we asked for some drinks. Coming to this part of the world on a financial event, we were taken aback by such insults. We went to Namaste India nearby and then went to Curry Club where we were well received and served. The place is also small and may not give one the right dining ambience.

Ordered spontaneously. I was a bit unsure at first, as I wasn't familiar with the restaurant. Completely unfounded! The food, and especially the naan, was delicious! I will always order here from now on and highly recommend it! For me, this is the best Indian restaurant in Frankfurt so far.

We haven't eaten there yet, but we order very regularly: The food is simply delicious and, to us, absolute soul food. We particularly like the chili paneer and karahi paneer, but the naan is also very tasty. :)

Excellent that it never closes its doors and welcomes everyone. We were alone in the restaurant at five o'clock and we tried chicken biryani, rogan gosht, butter chicken, tandoori chicken and lentil soup. They were all delicious.

Ordered through Lieferando, the butter chicken was incredibly delicious and delivered very quickly! The only downside was, unfortunately, that it didn't come with cutlery. The taste was perfect, the bread was also very good, and the meat was very tender.

Exceptionally delicious. Started off with fire chicken, phenomenally crispy yet juicy and bursting with flavor, then moved on to the butter chicken with garlic naan. Both were exceptional.

A wonderful experience! The lamb curry in particular was an absolute highlight. The meat was incredibly tender and perfectly seasoned – simply an explosion of flavor! The sauce was rich, full of flavors and perfectly balanced, just like a good curry should be. Every bite was a delight, and the attention to detail was evident. The lassi was nice and creamy and had the ideal sweetness, a refreshing finish to a spicy dish. The restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere and the staff was very friendly and attentive. All in all, a wonderful evening – I can only recommend it and am already looking forward to my next visit!

Food was great, if not a little bland to a pallette used to British Indian food. Service was great, but paying for dinner was a challenge as a lot of our cards didn't work (group of 10, 4 cards didn't work)

The palak paneer was good, I liked it, but it was too heavy. It doesn’t need to have so much fat. And the tandoori roti wasn’t crispy and was a little too soggy. Nice food, I may come back, but not my favorite.

I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while on a business trip. Food was super tasty, had lamb tikka masala and naan bread. The restaurant is simple, but friendly hosts and delicious food.

I had dinner last night and it was delicious. The staff was also very friendly. I look forward to being with you again soon

Unfortunately, the food is not authentically Indian at all and frozen vegetables were also used. The restaurant owner wanted to deny it and I'm sorry to only give it 2 stars, but it's an insult to Indian cuisine. As a half-Indian woman, I can relate to that. The second star is because the drinks are very inexpensive. Please put more effort into preparing it and use fresh vegetables!!

Very cute Indian restaurant at comparatively cheap prices. We received a very friendly welcome, the food came quickly and tasted very good. Even though we were there quite late, we were not pressured to eat or pay faster. I would definitely go here again! The only small catch: the garlic naan bread was quite tasteless. Otherwise everything was great, right down to the toilet hygiene!

Food is too watery and not seasoned well. In terms of taste, it costs €6 - €17 for a plate with a side dish and a drink €29 per person

That was nothing, the tablecloth wasn't clean and the price-performance ratio wasn't right, not to mention the unfriendliness.

1 stars will be deleted, 5 star reviews are fake!! The food is okay, the service is very unfriendly and the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Very small portions for an expensive price. It's really not worth it. No recommendation!!

Unfortunately, we were unable to redeem our voucher from the Bon-Bon website because we were told that the contract no longer exists, even though they are listed as a provider on the website. Now we're stuck with the voucher. The food was okay, but the ambience was not appealing. The service could be improved because no goodwill was shown.

We chose this place because of high ratings on Google Maps, but at the end I left slightly disappointed and I think this place is overrated. Food: I got for a dinner Chicken Biryani and Chai. Price of the chichen was 18.9, (a bit higher than in other places) and I would expected either quality or quantity for that price. Rice was very tasty with some indian spices, but chicken was definitely warmed up and not cooked fresh. Also the quantity doesn't match the price, you could see the amount of salad on the attached picture. As for Chai, I tried much tastier ones in the non-indian places, and had rather high expectations, but this one was literally tea with milk and some spices. Service: the waiter was generally nice, but often disappearing, so we needed to wait for some time when he shows up to order and to pay. Also I got impression that he doesn't care that much about what's going on, but this is my personal feeling. Atmosphere was chill with some old indian music in the background and this is what I liked the most about the place. Actually, it's quite cosy inside. At the end: mediocre food in general and nothing special that would make me return to this place again.

Very tasty butter chicken, I can only recommend it

I eat lunch there several times a week and am very satisfied. The lunch menu is slightly reduced, but also cheaper.

Wait a long time, pay dearly We ordered from Indian Flavors and waited just over 2 hours (!) for our food. This cannot and should not be the standard of any restaurant. When the food arrived, it was no longer warm, even though we only live 10 minutes away from the restaurant. In terms of taste it was also in the lower middle range. When we called the restaurant after a fair wait, we were put off twice. Putting off stands for lying - also nice. All in all a really bad experience! I definitely recommend eating somewhere else! No one has to go through that at these prices. Edit: The operator tried to have Google delete this review and asked for proof of the business relationship and my real name.

A store where you can feel at home!

I ordered lentil soup and masala papad to pick up at lunchtime. The food didn't taste good at all and the portions were very small. An undefined yellow soup and two small papadums with some salad. Never had such bad Indian starters. The food wasn't worth the money. I'm never going there again. Luckily there are better restaurants with lunch in the area.

Die vielen 5-Sterne Nutzer mit einstelligen Rezensionen lassen außerdem eine hohe Anzahl an Fake-Bewertungen vermuten. Schon alleine deshalb würde ich den Laden meiden. Zu unserem Aufenthalt: Wir waren zu zweit im Restaurant und wollten hierbei die App NeoTaste benutzen, bei dem das Restaurant einen 2für1 Deal versprochen hat. Leider wurde dieser Deal mit der Begründung abgelehnt, dass man noch zusätzlich Getränke bestellen müsste, was jedoch im Deal nicht erwähnt wurde und der Praxis der Plattform widerspricht. Bei unserem Besuch haben wir festgestellt, dass das Essen zwar geschmacklich okay, jedoch sehr teuere (17€ pro Gericht) und kleine Portion hatte. Die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig (z.B. Tischdecken hatten die Tischdecken Flecken)
